Ста́рцы и́же въ ва́съ молю́, я́ко ста́рецъ сы́й и свидѣ́тель Христо́вымъ страсте́мъ, и́же и хотя́щей сла́вѣ яви́тися о́бщникъ:

The elders that are among you I exhort, who am a fellow elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

паси́те є́же въ ва́съ ста́до Бо́жіє, посѣща́юще не ну́ждею, но во́лею и по Бо́зѣ, ниже́ непра́ведными прибы́тки, но усе́рдно,

Tend the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not of constraint, but willingly; nor yet for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

ни я́ко облада́юще при́чту, но о́брази быва́йте ста́ду:

neither as lording it over the charge allotted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.
4
и я́вльшуся пастыренача́лнику, пріи́мете неувяда́ємый сла́вы вѣне́цъ.

And when the chief Shepherd shall be manifested, ye shall receive the crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Та́коже ю́ніи повини́теся ста́рцемъ: вси́ же дру́гъ дру́гу повину́ющеся, смиреному́дріє стяжи́те, зане́ Бо́гъ го́рдымъ проти́вится, смире́ннымъ же дає́тъ благода́ть.

Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder: yea, all of you being subject one to another, gird yourselves with humility: for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.

(Зач. 63) Смири́теся у́бо подъ крѣ́пкую ру́ку Бо́жію, да вы́ вознесе́тъ во вре́мя:

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;
7
всю́ печа́ль ва́шу возве́ргше На́нь, я́ко То́й пече́тся о ва́съ.

casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you.

Трезви́теся, бо́дрствуйте, зане́ супоста́тъ ва́шъ діа́волъ, я́ко ле́въ ры́кая, хо́дитъ, искі́й кого́ поглоти́ти:

Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking someone to devour:

єму́же проти́витеся тве́рди вѣ́рою, вѣ́дуще, я́ко тѣ́же стра́сти случа́ются ва́шему бра́тству, є́же въ мі́рѣ.

whom withstand steadfast in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world.

Бо́гъ же вся́кія благода́ти, призва́вый ва́съ въ вѣ́чную Свою́ сла́ву о Христѣ́ Іису́сѣ, ма́ло пострада́вшыя, То́й да соверши́тъ вы́, да утверди́тъ, да укрѣпи́тъ, да оснує́тъ.

And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a little while, himself perfect you; he shall establish, strengthen, settle you.

Тому́ сла́ва и держа́ва во вѣ́ки вѣко́въ. Ами́нь.

To him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Сілуа́номъ ва́мъ вѣ́рнымъ бра́томъ, я́ко непщу́ю, вма́лѣ написа́хъ, моля́ и засвидѣ́телствуя се́й бы́ти и́стиннѣй благода́ти Бо́жієй, въ не́йже стоите́.

By Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I account him, I have written unto you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.

Цѣлу́єтъ вы́ я́же въ Вавило́нѣ соизбра́нная, и Ма́рко сы́нъ мо́й.

She that is in Babylon, elect together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Mark my son.

Цѣлу́йте дру́гъ дру́га лобза́ніємъ любве́. Ми́ръ ва́мъ всѣ́мъ о Христѣ́ Іису́сѣ. Ами́нь.

Salute one another with a kiss of love. Peace be unto you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.
