(Зач. 6) И въ тре́тій де́нь бра́къ бы́сть въ Ка́нѣ Галіле́йстѣй: и бѣ́ Ма́ти Іису́сова ту́.

And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

Зва́нъ же бы́сть Іису́съ и ученицы́ Єго́ на бра́къ.

and Jesus also was bidden, and his disciples, to the marriage.

И недоста́вшу віну́, глаго́ла Ма́ти Іису́сова къ Нему́: віна́ не и́мутъ.

And when the wine failed, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

Глаго́ла Є́й Іису́съ: что́ [є́сть] Мнѣ́ и Тебѣ́, Же́но? Не у́ пріи́де ча́съ Мо́й.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

Глаго́ла Ма́ти Єго́ слуга́мъ: є́же а́ще глаго́летъ ва́мъ, сотвори́те.

His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

Бѣ́ху же ту́ водоно́си ка́менни ше́сть, лежа́ще по очище́нію Іуде́йску, вмѣстя́щій по двѣма́ или́ тріє́мъ мѣ́рамъ.

Now there were six waterpots of stone set there after the Jews’ manner of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece.

Глаго́ла и́мъ Іису́съ: напо́лните водоно́сы воды́. И напо́лниша и́хъ до верха́.

Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

И глаго́ла и́мъ: почерпи́те ны́нѣ и принеси́те архітриклі́нови. И принесо́ша.

And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the ruler of the feast. And they bare it.

Я́коже вкуси́ архітриклі́нъ віна́ бы́вшаго от воды́, и не вѣ́даше, отку́ду є́сть: слу́ги же вѣ́дяху поче́рпшіи во́ду: пригласи́ жениха́ архітриклі́нъ.

And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and knew not whence it was (but the servants that had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast calleth the bridegroom,

И глаго́ла єму́: вся́къ человѣ́къ пре́жде до́броє віно́ полагає́тъ, и єгда́ упію́тся, тогда́ ху́ждшеє: ты́ [же] соблю́лъ єси́ до́броє віно́ досе́лѣ.

and saith unto him, Every man setteth on first the good wine; and when men have drunk freely, then that which is worse: thou hast kept the good wine until now.

Се́ сотвори́ нача́токъ зна́меніємъ Іису́съ въ Ка́нѣ Галіле́йстѣй и яви́ сла́ву Свою́: и вѣ́роваша въ Него́ ученицы́ Єго́.

This the beginning of his signs did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

(Зач. 7) По се́мъ сни́де въ Капернау́мъ Са́мъ и Ма́ти Єго́, и бра́тія Єго́: и ту́ не мно́ги дни́ пребы́ша.

After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples; and there they abode not many days.

И бли́зъ бѣ́ Па́сха Іуде́йска, и взы́де во Ієрусали́мъ Іису́съ

And the passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

и обрѣ́те въ це́ркви продаю́щая о́вцы и волы́ и го́луби, и пѣ́няжники сѣдя́щыя.

And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

И сотвори́въ би́чь от ве́рвій, вся́ изгна́ изъ це́ркве, о́вцы и волы́: и торжнико́мъ разсы́па пѣ́нязи и дски́ опрове́рже:

and he made a scourge of cords, and cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew their tables;

и продаю́щымъ го́луби рече́: возми́те сія́ отсю́ду и не твори́те до́му Отца́ Моєго́ до́му ку́пленаго [ку́пли].

and to them that sold the doves he said, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house a house of merchandise.

¹⁷

Помяну́ша же ученицы́ Єго́, я́ко пи́сано є́сть: жа́лость до́му Твоєго́ снѣ́сть Мя́ [ре́вность до́му Твоєго́ снѣде́ Мя́].

And his disciples remembered that it was written, Zeal for thy house shall eat me up.

Отвѣща́ша же Іуде́є и рѣ́ша Єму́: ко́є зна́меніє явля́єши на́мъ, я́ко сія́ твори́ши.

The Jews therefore answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

¹⁹

Отвѣща́ Іису́съ и рече́ и́мъ: разорите́ це́рковь сію́, и тре́ми де́нми воздви́гну ю́.

¹⁹

Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Рѣ́ша же Іуде́є: четы́редесять и шестію́ лѣ́тъ создана́ бы́сть це́рковь сія́, и Ты́ ли тре́ми де́нми воздви́гнеши ю́?

The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days?

О́нъ же глаго́лаше о це́ркви тѣ́ла Своєго́.

But he spake of the temple of his body.

Єгда́ у́бо воста́ от ме́ртвыхъ, помяну́ша ученицы́ Єго́, я́ко се́ глаго́лаше, и вѣ́роваша Писа́нію и словеси́, є́же рече́ Іису́съ.

When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he spake this; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

Єгда́ же бѣ́ въ Ієрусали́мѣхъ въ пра́здникъ Па́схи, мно́зи вѣ́роваша во и́мя Єго́, ви́дяще зна́менія Єго́, я́же творя́ше.

Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, during the feast, many believed on his name, beholding his signs which he did.

Са́мъ же Іису́съ не вдая́ше Себе́ въ вѣ́ру и́хъ, зане́ Са́мъ вѣ́дяше вся́,

But Jesus did not trust himself unto them, for that he knew all men,

²⁵

и я́ко не тре́боваше, да кто́ свидѣ́телствуєтъ о человѣ́цехъ: Са́мъ бо вѣ́дяше, что́ бѣ́ въ человѣ́цехъ.

²⁵

and because he needed not that anyone should bear witness concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
