Рече же дв~дъ с^е е^сть до'мъ бж~їи. и^ с^е ѓ^лта'рь на все`сож#же'нїя і^и^л~ю”

And David said, This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar for whole-burnt-offering for Israel.

И$ заповњда да соберђтся вс^и пришеlцы эT земля` і^и^л~евы. и^ да поста'ви эT ниX ка'менно сњ'чецъ къ сњченїю ка'менїя ё^краше'нїя да соѕи'ждется до'мъ бж~їи”

And David gave orders to gather all the strangers that were in the land of Israel; and he appointed stone-hewers to hew polished stones to build the house to God.

³

Желњ'зо же мно'го на гво'зди две'ремъ и^ вра'томъ на спое'нїе, ё^гото'ва дв~дъ. и^ мњ'ди та'коже мно'го без# числа`”

And David prepared much iron for the nails of the doors and the gates; the hinges also and brass in abundance, there was no weighing of it.

И$ дре'воM же ке'дровомъ не бњ числа`. ја%ко сидо'ни и^ тљ=ри принесо'ша дре'въ ке'дровыхъ мно'го дв~дђ”

And cedar trees without number: for the Sidonians and the Tyrians brought cedar trees in abundance to David.

И$ рече дв~дъ. соломоn сн~ъ мо'и ма'лъ. до'мъ же е^же съзида'ти гв~и въ вели'чество вы'соко, и^ во и'мя, и^ въ сла'вђ въ всю` зе'млю, ё^гото'влю е^мђ. и^ вс^е мно'жество ё^гото'ва двDъ прежде скон#ча'нїа свое^го гв~и”

And David said, My son Solomon is a tender child, and the house for me to build to the Lord is for superior magnificence for a name and for a glory through all the earth: I will make preparation for it. And David prepared abundantly before his death.

Возва же соло'мона сн~а свое^го. и^ заповњ'да е^мђ да соѕи'ждетъ до'мъ г~ђ б~ђ і^и^л~евђ”

And he called Solomon his son, and commanded him to build the house for the Lord God of Israel.

Рече же дв~дъ къ соло'монђ, сн~ђ мо'и. во'ля моа бы'сть да соѕи'ждђ доM и%мени г~а б~а мое^го”

And David said to Solomon, My child, it was in my heart to build a house to the name of the Lord God.

⁸

Но бы'сть слово гн~е къ мнњ` гл~ющи. мно'гы кро'ви пролїялъ е^си. и^ мно'ги бра'ни сътвори'лъ е^си. не мо'жеши соѕида'ти до'мђ и%мени мое^го. ја%ко мно'ги пролїявъ кро'ви предо мно'ю”

But the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast carried on great wars: thou shalt not build a house to my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth before me.

Се сн~ъ и^же ро'диTся тебњ`, се'и бђ'деT мђ'жъ поко'инъ. и^ ё^поко'ю е^го эT всXњ вра'гъ е^го по ѓ%крsтъ. зане` соло'монъ и%мя е^го наречется. и^ ми'ръ и^ поко'и да'мъ е^мђ въ і^и^л~и вс^я дн~и е^го”

Behold, a son shall be born to thee, he shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days.

То'й соѕи'ждеT до'мъ и%мени мое^мђ. и^ то'й бђ'детъ мн^њ въ сн~а, и^ а'зъ бђдђ е^мђ въ эTц~а. і^ и^спра'влю прsтоl црsтва е^го на і^и^л~и въ вњ'ки”

He shall build a house to my name; and he shall be a son to me, and I will be a father to him; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom in Israel for ever.

Нн~њ ё^бо сн~ђ мо'и бђ'детъ г~ь с тобою, и^ преспњва'и и^ соѕижди` до'мъ г~ђ б~ђ твое^мђ. ја%ко гл~алъ е^сть ѓ^ тебњ`”

And now, my son, the Lord shall be with thee, and prosper thee; and thou shalt build a house to the Lord thy God, as he spoke concerning thee.

дасть же тебњ` ра'зђмъ и^ ё^мъ г~ь, да ё^пасти` мо'жеши і^и^л~я. и^ съхрани твори'ти зако'нъ г~а б~а твое^го”

Only may the Lord give thee wisdom and prudence, and strengthen thee over Israel, both to keep and to do the law of the Lord thy God.

¹³

Тогда` б^о преDспњва'ти мо'жеши. а%ще съхрани'ши за'повњди и^ сђдбы и%хже повелњ г~ь мољ=сїѓ'ви да ё^чи'тъ і^и^л~ь. ё^крњпи'ся и^ мђжественњ сътвори`. не ё^бо'ися ни страши'ся”

Then will he prosper thee, if thou take heed to do the commandments and judgments which the Lord commanded Moses for Israel: be courageous and strong; fear not, nor be terrified.

Се аZ въ ё^бо'жествњ мое^мъ ё^гото'ваX до'мђ гн~ю. зла'та, талаnтъ. Wр~. и^ сребра` ты'сяща ти'сящъ талан#тъ. мњ'ди же и^ желњзђ нњсть възвњше'нїя, побњди'ша б^о число` вели'чествомъ. и^ древа и^ ка'менїя ё^гото'ваX и^ к си'мъ да приложи'ши”

And, behold, I according to my poverty have prepared for the house of the Lord a hundred thousand talents of gold, and a million talents of silver, and brass and iron without measure; for it is abundant; and I have prepared timber and stones; and do thou add to these.

И с тобо'ю г~ь. и^ приложиши къ мно'жествђ творя'щихъ дњ'ла, хђдо'жъницы, на всњ` расходы. ё^модњ'лницы. ка'мен#носњчецъ, и^ рђкодњлницы дре'вомъ, и^ всњхъ ё^мњ'лыхъ, к сотворе'нїю дњ'ла, разђмнњ'ишиX”

And of them that are with thee do thou add to the multitude of workmen; let there be artificers and masons, and carpenters, and every skilful workman in every work;

¹⁶

Въ зла'тњ и^ сребрњ`. въ мњ'ди и^ желњзњ. и^м#же нњ'сть числа`. Въста'ни б^о и^ сътвори`. и^ бђ'детъ г~ь с тобо'ю”

in gold and silver, brass and iron, of which there is no number. Arise and do, and the Lord be with thee.

¹⁷

И$ повелњ же дв~дъ всњмъ начал#ни'комъ і^и^л~евымъ, да помагаюT соло'монђ сн~ђ е^го”

¹⁷

And David charged all the chief men of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,

¹⁸

Ви'дите гл~юще да е^сть г~ь б~ъ ва'шъ с ва'ми, и^ дасть вамъ поко'и по ѓ'крsтъ. зане` да'сть вс^я врагы` ваша въ рђ'ки ва'ша. и^ пови'н#на бђ'детъ земля` преD гм~ъ. и^ преD люDми е^го”

Is not the Lord with you? and he has given you rest round about, for he has given into your hands the inhabitants of the land; and the land is subdued before the Lord, and before his people.

¹⁹

Нн~њ ё^бо да'ите срDца ва'ша и^ дш~а ва'ша. да възы'щете г~а б~а ва'шего. и^ воста'ните и^ соѕида'ите ст~ительство г~ђ б~ђ ва'шемђ да въведеTся кїѓ'тъ завњта гн~я” и^ сосђ'ды ѓ^сщ~ен#ны домђ` бж~їя и^же соѕи'ждется и%мени гн~ю”

Now set your hearts and souls to seek after the Lord your God: and rise, and build a sanctuary to your God to carry in the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the Lord.
