даже того вре'мени въ вра'тњхъ црsкиX къ восто'кђ въздержа'хђ по силахъ своиX въ сн~њхъ левљи^ныX”

and he waited hitherto in the king's gate eastward: these are the gates of the companies of the sons of Levi.

И$ сел#лђмъ сн~ъ къре'ѓвъ сн~а а^вїа^сафо'вова сн~а коре'ѓва. и^ бра'тїя е^го по домо'мъ эTц~ъ и^хъ. сїи сђть зри'тели наD дњлы слђже'нїя стрегђще стражбы`, скљ'нїи, и^ эTц~ъ и^хъ наD пол#комъ гн~имъ. Стрегђще въхо'да”

И$ та'котїи и^ сн~ове и^хъ быша въ две'рехъ до'мђ гн~я. в# домђ скљ=нїя стрещи, по вся` дн~и”

По четы'ремъ вњтром# бњша две'рницы стрегђщеи. и^же къ восто'кђ и^ къ западђ, и^ къ сњ'верђ, и^ къ ю'гђ”

The gates were toward the four winds, eastward, westward, northward, southward.

Бра'тїя же иX и^же живя'хђ въ селаX своиX, и^ прихожда'хђ въ сђбо'таX своиX эT вре'мени даже до вре'мени на премњнђ тMњ”

And their brethren were in their courts, to enter in weekly from time to time with these.

Четы'реM б^о две'рникоM старњишиM върђче'но бысть левљ=тоv. и^ бњхђ стрегђще собо'ровъ и^ скровищъ до'мђ гн~я”

For four strong men have the charge of the gates; and the Levites were over the chambers, and they keep watch over the treasures of the house of God.

По ѓ%крsтъ же цр~кви гн~я живяхђ въ стра'жбахъ своиX. да е^гда` время бы'сть тїи и^ ё^трњ эTтворяюT две'ри цр~кви”

For the charge was upon them, and these were charged with the keys to open the doors of the temple every morning.

эT того же ро'да бя'хђ и^ наD сосђды слђже'нїа. по чи'слђ б^о вноша'хђ сосђ'ды, і^ и^зноша'хђ.

And some of them were appointed over the vessels of service, that they should carry them in by number, and carry them out by number.

эT тXњ же і^ и^же врђче'н#на и^мњя'хђ рђ'хла ст~ительствомъ. та'коже и^ надъ мђко'ю пшени'чною и^ виномъ и^ е^леѓM и^ џимїамоM и^ а^рома'ты”

And some of them were appointed over the furniture, and over all the holy vessels, and over the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the frankincense, and the spices.

Сн~ове же сщ~ен#никовъ ма'сти эT рама'тъ съдњлахђ”

And some of the priests were makers of the ointment, and appointed to prepare the spices.

И$ мат#таџїасъ левљ=тъ. се'й прьвенецъ сел#лђмъ крылошани'н# прьвыи бы'сть, е^мђже ё^вњ'рени жеrтвы. і^ и^же на сковрадњ пряжахђся вели'кого жерца`”

And Matthathias of the Levites, (he was the first-born of Salom the Corite,) was set in charge over the sacrifices of meat-offering of the pan belonging to the high priest.

Паки эT сн~овъ каа'џовыX бра'тїа иX бяхђ наD хлњбы преDложе'нїя въ сђбо'ты и^ сђбо'ты ја%же ё^гото'вати”

And Banaias the Caathite, from among their brethren, was set over the shewbread, to prepare it every sabbath.

И$ сїи быша княѕи пњвцеM по семъја%хъ левљ=тъскихъ и^же въ събра'нїю поста'влени, повседн~евное, ја%ко да дн~ь и^ но'щъ все'гда свое` слђженїе эTслђжива'ютъ”

And these were the singers, heads of families of the Levites, to whom were established daily courses, for they were employed in the services day and night.

Сїи главы` эTч~ествомъ левљ=томъ по племе'немъ иX, нача'лницы же сїи вс^и пребыва'хђ въ і^ерsли'мњ”

These were the heads of the families of the Levites according to their generations; these chiefs dwelt in Jerusalem.

И$ въ гаваѓ'нњ же ѓ^ста` эTц~ъ гаваѓ'нь і^е^и^е^левъ. и%мя женњ` е^го маа'ха”

And Jeël the father of Gabaon dwelt in Gabaon; and his wife's name was Moöcha.

И$ сн~ъ прьвенецъ е^го а^вдо'нъ, и^ а^сђръ, и^ ки'съ, и^ ва'ель, и^ ни'ръ, и^ нада'въ,

And his first-born son was Abdon, and he had Sur, and Kis, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,

и^ гедо'ръ. и^ бра'тїя и^хъ. и^ а^гїё'нъ, и^ зе'хрїя” И$ макеллодъ

and Gedur and his brother, and Zacchur, and Makeloth.
38
и^же роди` сеMмая. и^ сїи всели'шася среди бра'тїи свои^хъ въ і^ерsли'мњ со бра'тїами свои'ми”

And Makeloth begot Samaa: and these dwelt in the midst of their brethren in Jerusalem, even in the midst of their brethren.
39
Нир же роди` ки'са. и^ ки'съ роди` саё'ла. и^ саё'лъ роди` і^а'ѓ^наџа. и^ мелхисђ'я. и^ а^минада'ва, и^ сва'е^ля”

And Ner begot Kis, and Kis begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, and Melchisue, and Aminadab, and Asabal.

Сн~ы же і^ѓ^а^наџа'ни мем#фиваа'лъ. и^ мемъфиваа'лъ роd ми'хђ”

And the son of Jonathan was Meribaal: and Meribaal begot Micha.
41
Сн~ове же ми'ха фило'џъ, и^ мелхїилъ, и^ џара'я, и^ а^за'еръ”

And the sons of Micha were Phithon and Malach, and Tharach.

И$ хаза'зъ же роди` и^ѓ^дђ, і^ и^ѓ'да роди` а^лефа, и^ а^змо'џа, и^ заMврїя, зам#врїи же роди` маса'я”

And Achaz begot Jada: and Jada begot Galemeth, and Gazmoth, and Zambri; and Zambri begot Massa.

И$ ма'са же роди` ваа'на, е^гоже сн~ъ рафаїя е^ласа сн~ъ е^го, а^саи'ль сн~ъ е^го”

And Massa begot Baana, and Rhaphaïa was his son, Elasa his son, Esel his son.

Ё$ а^саи'ля же б^њ, ѕ~, сн~овъ, и^ сїя и^мена` и^хъ. и^ е^зри'ка прьве'нецъ е^го і^ и^смаи'ль, и^ а^зарїя, и^ а^вдїя, и^ а^на'нъ, сїи сн~ове а^саи'левы”

And Esel had six sons, and these were their names; Esricam his first-born, and Ismael, and Saraia, and Abdia, and Anan, and Asa: these were the sons of Esel.
