And in the eighteenth year of the reign of Jeroboam son of Nabat, Abiu son of Roboam reigns over Juda.

И$ тр^и лњта цр~ьствова въ і^ерsли'мњ. и%мя мт~ри его маа'ха дщ^и а^весало'мля”

And he reigned three years over Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Maacha, daughter of Abessalom.

И$ хожда'ше въ всњхъ грњсњхъ эTц~а свое^го ја%же сътвори преD нимъ. и^ не бњ` срDце е^го съвръшено съ гм~ъ бм~ъ е^го ја%коy б^њ двDђ срDце эTц~а е^го”

And he walked in the sins of his father which he wrought in his presence, and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David.

Но двDа раd ѓ^ста'ви и& г~ь б~ъ ѓ^ста'ноk во і^ерsли'мњ. да воставля'я поста'ви по неM ча'да е^го ё^твер#ждая і^ерsли'м#”

Howbeit for David's sake the Lord gave him a remnant, that he might establish his children after him, and might establish Jerusalem.

ЈА/коже сътвори` дв~дъ ё^гоDное преD гм~ъ. и^ не ё^клони'ся эT всего` е^же заповњ'да е^мђ вс^я дн~и живота` е^го. кро'мњ е^ді'наго сло'ва ё%рїя хетџе'искаго”

Forasmuch as David did that which was right in the sight of the Lord: he turned not from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life.

И$ бра'нь б^њ ме'ждђ ровоа'момъ, и^ междђ і^е^ровоа'моM въ вс^я дн~и живота е^го”

And the rest of the history of Abiu, and all that he did, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda? And there was war between Abiu and Jeroboam.

И прочая словесъ а^вїиныX и^ вс^я ја%же сътвори` не се л^и сїя напи'сана въ кни'гахъ слоv бы'тїя цр~еи і^ё'диныхъ. и^ брань б^њ ме'ждђ а^вїемъ и^ междђ і^е^ровоа'моM”

And Abiu slept with his fathers in the twenty-fourth year of Jeroboam; and he is buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Asa his son reigns in his stead.

И ё'мре а^вїи и^ положе'нъ бысть съ эTц~ы свои'ми. въ к~ е лњто і^е^ровоа'ма, и^ погребо'ша и& съ эTц~ы е^го во' градњ двд~вњ. и^ црsтвова а^са сн~ъ е^го въ мњсто е^го”

In the four and twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Asa begins to reign over Juda.

И$ въ лњто, к~ е, і^е^ровоа'ма цр~я і^и^л~ева, црsтвова'ша а%са наD і^ё'дою”

And he reigned forty-one years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Ana, daughter of Abessalom.

И$ м~ и^ а~, лњто, црsтвова въ і^ерsли'мњ. и%мя же мт~ри е^го а%на дщ$и а^весало'мля”

And Asa did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, as David his father.

И$ сотвори` а%са ё^гоDное преD гм~ъ ја%коже и^ дв~дъ эTц~ъ е^го”

And he removed the sodomites out of the land, and abolished all the practices which his fathers had kept up.

И$ эTя'тъ скверная эT земля`. і^ и^скорени вс^я и^звая'нная ја%же сътвори'ша эTц~ы е^го”

And he removed Ana his mother from being queen, forasmuch as she gathered a meeting in her grove: and Asa cut down her retreats, and burnt them with fire in the brook of Kedron.

И$ а'нђ мт~рь свою ѓ^ста'ви ја%ко не владњти е'й. ја%ко сотвори соборъ ѓ^ ка'пищђ ея` и^ эTсњче а%са га'и е^я`. и^ сож#же ѓ^гне'м# в потоцњ ке'дръстњмъ”

But he removed not the high places; nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect with the Lord all his days.

ВысокиX же не и^скорени срDце же а^сїино б^њ съвръшенно преD гм~ъ во вся' дн~и е^го”

And he brought in the pillars of his father, he even brought in his gold and silver pillars into the house of the Lord, and his vessels.

¹⁵

И$ вънесе сосђ'ды ст~ыя эTц~а свое^го и^ ст~ая своя` внесе` въ храмъ гн~ь, сре'брены и^ зла'ты сосђ'ды”

¹⁶

And there was war between Asa and Baasa king of Israel all their days.

¹⁶

И$ бра'нь б^њ межи а^сїею. и^ межи ваа'соM цр~емъ і^и^л~евыM въ вся` дн~и и^хъ”

And Baasa king of Israel went up against Juda, and built Rama, so that no one should go out or come in for Asa king of Juda.

¹⁷

И$ възы'де ваа'са цр~ь і^и^л~евъ на і^ё'дђ. и^ созда` ра'мђ ја%ко не бы'ти на вохожде'нїе і^ и^схожде'нїе а%сњ цр~ю і^ё'динђ”

And Asa took all the silver and the gold that was found in the treasures of the house of the Lord, and in the treasures of the king's house, and gave them into the hands of his servants; and king Asa sent them out to the son of Ader, the son of Taberema son of Azin king of Syria, who dwelt in Damascus, saying,

И$ взяT а'са вс^е сребро` и^ зла'то, и^ ѓ^брњтъшее^ся въ сокровищихъ до'мђ гн~я. и^ в# сокро'вищахъ до'мђ цр~ева. и^ дасть я& въ рђцњ ѓ%трокъ свои^хъ. и^ посла` и& цр~ь а%са къ сн~ђ а^деровђ, тавїинђ въ рама'нъ, къ сн~ђ а^зеи'левђ, цр~я а^сљ=рїиска живђщаго въ дама'сцњ гл~я”

Make a covenant between me and thee, and between my father and thy father: lo! I have sent forth to thee gold and silver for gifts: come, break thy league with Baasa king of Israel, that he may go up from me.

Положи` завњтъ межи мно'ю и^ тобо'ю и^ межи эTц~ем# моиM и^ эTцм~ъ твоиM. с^е послаX т^и дары сребро` и^ зла'то. прїиди и^ раZдрђши завTњ твои и^же съ ваа'сою цр~емъ і^и^л~евымъ. да и^зы'детъ эT мене`”

And the son of Ader hearkened to king Asa, and sent the chiefs of his forces to the cities of Israel; and they smote Ain, Dan, and Abel of the house of Maacha, and all Chennereth, as far as the whole land of Nephthali.

И$ послђша сн~ъ а^да'ровъ цр~я а%сы. и посла` вое^водъ си'лныX е^го на гра'ды і^и^л~евы. и^ побњди` а^и'на, и^ а^да'нъ. и^ а^ве'ля домђ махїи'на, и^ весь хенере'џъ до всея` земля` неџали'мля”

And it came to pass when Baasa heard it, that he left off building Rama, and returned to Thersa.

И$ бысть ја%ко ё^слы'шавъ ваа'са. и^ ѓ^ста'ви ѕи'жда ра'мђ, и^ возврати'ся въ џе'рсђ”

And king Asa charged all Juda without exception: and they take up the stones of Rama and its timbers with which Baasa was building; and king Asa built with them upon the whole hill of Benjamin, and the watch-tower.

И цр~ь а%са заповњ'да всемђ` і^ё'дњ въ е^наки'мњ. и^ взя'ста ка'менїе эT ра'мы и^ дре'во е^я`, и%мже б^њ ѓ^снова'лъ ваа'са. и^ созда` в ниX цр~ь а%са вся'къ хл'ъмъ венїа^ми'нь и^ стра'жища”

And the rest of the history of Asa, and all his mighty deeds which he wrought, and the cities which he built, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda? Nevertheless in the time of his old age he was diseased in his feet.

И$ прочаа словеса` а%сина и^ вс^ю си'лђ е^го и^ вся ја%же сътвори, и^ грады ја%же созда`. и^ с^е сђть писана въ кни'зњ слове'съ дн~їи цр~ь і^ё'диныX, въ вре'мя же ста'рости свое'я нача'тъ болњти но'ги е^го”

And Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Josaphat his son reigns in his stead.

²⁴

И$ ё'мре а%са, и^ погребо'ша и& съ эTц~ы е^го во' градњ давы'довњ. и^ црsтвова и^ѓ^сафаT сн~ъ е^го въ е^го мњсто”

And Nabat son of Jeroboam reigns over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Juda, and he reigned two years in Israel.

Нада'волъ же сн~ъ і^е^ровоа'мль нача` црsтвова'ти наD і^и~леM въ второ'е лњто а%сы цр~я і^ё'дина и^ црsтвова наD і^ерsли'момъ дв^њ лњтњ”

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the way of his father, and in his sins wherein he caused Israel to sin.

²⁶

И сътвори лђка'вное преD гм~ъ. и^ хожда'ше пђтемъ эTц~а свое^го. и^ по грњхо'мъ е^го и%миже съгрњши` въ і^и^л~и”

²⁷

And Baasa son of Achia, who was over the house of Belaan son of Achia, conspired against him, and smote him in Gabathon of the Philistines; for Nabat and all Israel were besieging Gabathon.

И ѓ^б#сњ'де и& ваа'са сн~ъ а^хїинъ в домђ` веланїи сн~а а^хїина. и^ ё^би'ша е^го в# гаваѓ'нњ и^ноплеме'нникъ. и^ надаv б^о и^ весь і^и^л~ь ѓ^бъсњдо'ша а^гаваџоn”

And Baasa slew him in the third year of Asa son of Asa king of Juda; and reigned in his stead.

²⁸

І$ и^зби` я& ваа'са въ лњто, г~ е, а%сы цр~я і^ё'дина. и^ црsтвова` в него мњсто”

²⁹

And it came to pass when he reigned, that he smote the whole house of Jeroboam, and left none that breathed of Jeroboam, until he had destroyed him utterly, according to the word of the Lord which he spoke by his servant Achia the Selonite,

И$ бысть ја^ко црsтвова. и^ поби` весь до'мъ і^е^ровоа'мль, и^ не ѓ^ста'ви ничтоже эT всего дыха'нїя і^е^ровоаMля до'н#деже и^скорени` и^хъ по гл~ђ гн~ю. и^же гл~а рђкою раба` свое^го а^хїя силониTскаго”

for the sins of Jeroboam, who led Israel into sin, even by his provocation wherewith he provoked the Lord God of Israel.

Грњхъ ради і^е^ровоа'млиX и%миже съгрњши, и%миже і^и^л~я въ грњхъ въведе`. и^ въ прогнњ'ванїи е^го и%мже прогнњ'ва г~а б~а і^и^л~ева”

And the rest of the history of Nabat, and all that he did, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

И$ про'чая словеса` нада'ва. и^ вс^е ја%же сътвори`. не с^е ли сђть вс^я пи'сана въ кни'зњ словъ дн~їи цр~ь і^и^л~евъ”

And in the third year of Asa king of Juda, Baasa the son of Achia begins to reign over Israel in Thersa, twenty and four years.

И$ быs бра'нь междђ а%сою цр~емъ і^ё'диным# и^ ваа'сою цр~емъ і^и^л~евыM во вся` дн~и иX”

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, and in his sins, as he caused Israel to sin.

И$ сътвори` лђка'вное преD гм~ъ, і^ и%де пђтемъ і^е^ровоа'млимъ сн~а нава'това. и^ во грњсњхъ е^го иMже въ согрњше'нїе приведе` і^и^л~я”
