And it came to pass in the four hundred and fortieth year after the departure of the children of Israel out of Egypt, in the fourth year and second month of the reign of king Solomon over Israel, that the king commanded that they should take great and costly stones for the foundation of the house, and hewn stones. And the men of Solomon, and the men of Chiram hewed the stones, and laid them for a foundation. In the fourth year he laid the foundation of the house of the Lord, in the month Ziu, even in the second month. In the eleventh year, in the month Baal, this is the eighth month, the house was completed according to all its plan, and according to all its arrangement.

And the house which the king built to the Lord was forty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and its height five and twenty cubits.

И$ кома'ра ја%же' б^њ преD лицемъ е^го, к~, лако'тъ долгота` е^го. толи'ко же ја%ко в# высинђ` до'ма. в# ширинђy, і~ лакоT” Кома'ра бысть и^ сїя преD лицеM хра'мђ. и^ созда` храмъ и^ сконча` и&.

And the porch in front of the temple—twenty cubits was its length according to the breadth of the house in front of the house: and he built the house, and finished it.

и^ сътвори храмђ ѓ%кна преклоне'ны, с#кровены

And he made to the house secret windows inclining inward.

ѓ^крsтъ стњны храMныя, притво'ры ѓ%коло цр~кви всея`. сътвори` ё^ дави'ра,

And against the wall of the house he set chambers round about the temple and the ark.

и^ сътвори закро'вы ѓ%коло” Закро'въ и^ нижнїи странњ`, е~, лакоT ширина б^њ. и^ сре'днеи, ѕ~, лако'тъ ширина`, и^ третеи, з~, лакоT ширина` е^го, поне'же ё^твръженїе хра'мђ сътвори`, ѓ%крsтъ внњ`ё'дђ хра'ма ја%ко да не прїимаюTся стњнњ храма”

The under side was five cubits broad, and the middle part six, and the third was seven cubits broad; for he formed an interval to the house round about without the house, that they might not touch the walls of the house.

И$ хра'мђ ѕиждемђ сђщђ ка'менїемъ несњченымъ е^дина'цњмъ ја%ко приноша'шеся, мла'тъ же, и^ тесли'ца, и^ всњхъ дњ'лныX желњзъ не слы'шася въ хра'мњ е^гда зда'ша. І$

And the house was built in the construction of it with rough hewn stones: and there was not heard in the house in the building of it hammer or axe, or any iron tool.

и^ две'ри закро'вђ сътвори, ја%же сђть ниQняя страны` хра'ма з десны'я, і^ и^звїе'ныи бяше восхоD, въ среDнїи, и^ эT среди'на г~, ча'сти бяше въхоD”

And the porch of the under side was below the right wing of the house, and there was a winding ascent into the middle chamber, and from the middle to the third story.

И$ созда` храM и^ соверши е^го, и^ ѓ^ста'ви ѓ%коло всего` хра'ма до'щками. и^ свори` ке'дрїемъ

So he built the house and finished it; and he made the ceiling of the house with cedars.

и^ сътвори вяза'нїя ѓ%крsтъ всего` хра'ма, е~, лако'тъ въ высотђ` е^го и^ сн^я вяза'нїе, дре'вомъ ке'дровыM”

And he made the partitions through all the house, each five cubits high, and enclosed each partition with cedar boards.

И$ бысть слово гн~е къ соло'монђ гл~я”

And he framed the walls of the house within with cedar boards, from the floor of the house and on to the inner walls and to the beams: he lined the parts enclosed with boards within, and compassed the inward parts of the house with planks of fir.

Хра'мъ сїи е^сть и^же т^ы ѕи'ждеши. аще хо'диши въ за'повњдехъ мои^хъ и^ сђдбы` моя сътвори'ши, и^ съхрани'ши вс^я повелњнїа моя, ѓ^браща'ющися въ нихъ, ё^ста'влю слово мое к тебњ`, е^же гл~ах# дв~дђ эTц~ђ твое^мђ”

And he built the twenty cubits from the top of the wall, one side from the floor to the beams, and he made it from the oracle to the most holy place.

И$ вселю'ся по'средњ сн~овъ і^и^л~евъ, и^ не ѓ^ста'влю люді'и моиX і^и^л~я”

And the temple was forty cubits in extent,

И$ созда` соло'монъ храмъ и^ сконча и&”

in front of the oracle in the midst of the house within, in order to put there the ark of the covenant of the Lord.

И$ созда` стњ'ны хра'мђ внђтръ древомъ ке'дровомъ эT земля` до стњны` и^ эT стњны до верха` въ ѓ%коло ѓ^ста'ви ја%ко съдръжати древомъ внђтръё%дђ хра'мђ, и^ ё^крњпля'ти внђтръ страны` пе'вгїеM”

The length was twenty cubits, and the breadth was twenty cubits, and the height of it was twenty cubits. And he covered it with perfect gold, and he made an altar

И$ созда`, к~, лако'тъ эT конца` стњны` странђ` е^ді'нђ эT земля до верха`, и^ сътвори внђтръ” эT ѓ^лтаря` до ст~ая ст~ыхъ,

in front of the oracle, and covered it with gold.

м~, лако'тъ, б^њ цр~кви преD лицеM ѓ^лтаря`”

And he covered the whole house with gold, till he had finished gilding the whole house.

And he made in the oracle two cherubs of ten cubits measured size.

По'средњ храма внђтръ, т^ђ же бяше лњ'по поставля'ти кїѓ'та гн~я,

And the wing of one cherub was five cubits, and his other wing was five cubits; ten cubits from the tip of one wing to the tip of the other wing.

и^ бяше к~, лакоT в# долготђ, и^ к~, лакоT в# широтђ. и^ к~, лакоT высота е^го, и^ ѓ^бъяT и& зла'томъ и^ ё^твръди” И$ сътвори` ѓ^лта'рь ке'дровый

Thus it was with the other cherub, both were alike finished with one measure.

And the height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it with the second cherub.

и^ весь хра'мъ ѓ^бъя'тъ зла'тоM до сконча'нїа всемђ` хра'мђ”

And both the cherubs were in the midst of the innermost part of the house; and they spread out their wings, and one wing touched the wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings in the midst of the house touched each other.

И$ сътвори въ ѓ^лтарю`, дв^а херђви'ма древомъ кипарисноM, і~, лако'тъ мњ'рою вели'чество, і~, лакотъ ко'ждо ѓ^ себњ`”

And he covered the cherubs with gold.

Пя'ть лакоT кры'лњ бяста херђви'мђ е^ди'номђ. и^ е~, лакоT крылњ херђви'мђ второ'мђ. і~, лакоT эT крила` до крила е^мђ.

He graved all the walls of the house round about with the graving of cherubs, and he sculptured palm trees within and without the house.

Та'ко мњра бњ`, херђви'ма втора'го в тђже мњрђ и^ тако совръшены мњры ѓ%ба”

And he covered the floor of the house within and without with gold.

И$ высота` б^њ херђви'ма кое^гождо б^њ, і~, лако'тъ” Та'коже и^ второ'мђ,

And for the door-way of the oracle he made doors of juniper wood, there were porches in a four-fold way.

и^ ѓ'ба херђви'ма бњста посредњ` хра'ма внђтръняго, и^ простира'хђ кры'ла иX, досяза'ше крыло` е^ді'но до стњны` е^ді'ноя хра'мђ, и^ крыло дрђга'го херђві'ма досяза'ше до стњны` вторыя, и^ кры'ла е^я` и^же посредњ хра'ма каса'шеся крыло` съ крылоM”

In both the doors were planks of fir; the one door had two leaves and their hinges, and the other door had two leaves and turned on hinges,

И$ ѓ^бъя'та бњста херђви'ма зла'томъ.

being carved with cherubs, and there were palm-trees and open flower-leaves, and it was overlaid with gold gilt upon the engraving.

и^ вс^я стњны хра'ма ѓ%коло, и^зъваја%нна писа` подо'бна херђви'мома, и^ фљ=ни'комъ внђтръё%дђ, и^ вн^њё%дђ”

And he built the inner court, three rows of hewn stones, and a row of wrought cedar round about, and he made the curtain of the court of the porch of the house that was in front of the temple.

И$ помо'стъ и^зъвнђ и^ внњ` ѓ^бъя` зла'томъ”

И$ две'ри ѓ^лтарю` сътвори` древомъ лњ'пымъ, пра'ги пятери'цею,

и^ дво'я две'ри дре'вомъ пе'вговыM и^звая'н#на на ни'хъ подо'бїя херђви'момъ древомъ фљ=ни'ковымъ, и^ позоло'тою ё^строи`, и^ сня'ть зла'тоM и^ бяше златоM ё^строе'но до херђвимовъ, и^ до фљ=ниk”

И$ тако сотвори` и^ вра'томъ цр~кви и^ пра'ги дре'вомъ лњпыM на четы'ри ё%глы”

И$ вс^я двери дре'вомъ пев#говым# ё^краси`. засови'ты две'ри пе'рвыя, и^ эTвръзенїе и%хъ къ себњ. и^ вторы'е две'ри засови'ты эTвръза'юща къ себњ”

На ни'х же сотвори и^звая'н#ни херђви'ми и^ фљ=ники и^ ё^строе'ны бњхђ позла'тою и^ преима'ны златоM, и^ свњшены до'лђ”
36
И$ созда` дворецъ внђтренїи, треми` стњна'ми нете'санымъ дре'вомъ. и^ е^ді'на стњна` те'сана древа ке'дръска въѓ%коло” И$ созда дворецъ до'мђ госпо'дню, и^ вънђтрењя. и^ кома'ра. ја^же б^њ проти'вђ хра'мђ”
