Поста'ви же ѓ^бита'ющїи і^ерsлі'мђ ѓ^хозїю сн~а е^го ме'ншаго цр~я в него мњсто. вси` б^о бо'лше роDнїи и^же прежде е^го бњхђ ё^би'ша разбо'иницы а^раvскїи` и^же напада'хђ гра'ды црsтвова ѓ^хозїя сн~ъ і^ѓ^рамовъ цр~ь і^ё'диn,

And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ochozias his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of robbers that came against them, even the Arabians and the Alimazonians, had slain all the elder ones. So Ochozias son of Joram king of Juda reigned.

м~в, лњтъ. бысть ѓ^хозїя е^гда` црsтвовати нача`. и^ е^ді'но лњто цр~ьствова въ і^ерsли'мњ” І$ и'мя мт~ри е^го гоџолїя дщ^и марїя`.

Ochozias began to reign when he was twenty years old, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Gotholia, the daughter of Ambri.

н^о и^ се'й ходи'лъ е^сть по пђти` до'мђ а^ха'вля. мт~и б^о е^го б^њ совњща'ющи да грњшиT

And he walked in the way of the house of Achaab; for his mother was his counsellor to do evil.

и^ сътвори' лђка'вое преD гм~ъ, ја%ко домъ а^ха'вовъ. сїи б^о быша е^мђ совњтницы” По см~рти же эTц~а е^го въ погђбленїе е^го.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord as the house of Achaab had done: for they were his counsellors after the death of his father to his destruction.

ходи б^о в# совњте иX. и^ по'иде съ і^ѓ^ра'момъ сн~омъ а^хавовыM цр~еM і^и^л~выM на' брань. проти'вђ азайлю цр~я сљ=рьска въ рамо'џъ галааDскїи. и^ ё^рани'ша стрелъцы і^ѓ^ра'мовы.

And he walked in their counsels, and he went with Joram son of Achaab king of Israel to war against Azael king of Syria to Ramoth Galaad: and the archers smote Joram.

и^ възвратися и^ѓ^ра'мъ да и^сцњлиTся въ і^е^срае^ль эT ра'нъ. и%миже рани'ша еh сљ=ряне в рамо'џњ. внегда` бра'тися е^мђ съ а^заи'лемъ цр~емъ сљ=ръскиM” Э$хозїя же сн~ъ і^ѓ^рамль цр~ь і^ё'диn. сни'де да посњтитъ і^ѓ^ра'ма сн~а а^хаа'зова въ і^е^срае^ль разболњ бо ся.

And Joram returned to Jezrael to be healed of the wounds wherewith the Syrians smote him in Ramoth, when he fought against Azael king of Syria. And Ochozias son of Joram, king of Juda, went down to see Joram the son of Achaab at Jezrael because he was sick.

во'ля б^о бысть бж~їя проти'вђ ѓ^хозїи`. да прїиде къ і^ѓ^ра'мђ. и^ е^гда^ и^зыити е^мђ, и^зы'иде с ни'мъ і^ѓ^раM противђ і^и^ё'я сн~а а^месїина. е^гоже пома'за г~ь въ домъ а^хавовъ.

And destruction from God came upon Ochozias in his coming to Joram; for when he had come, Joram went out with him against Jeu the son of Namessei, the anointed of the Lord against the house of Achaab.

и^ бысть ја%ко эTмъсти і^и^ё'е домђ а^ха'влю, и^ ѓ^брњте нача'лникы і^ё'дины. и^ сн~оv и^ бра'тїю ѓ^хозїинђ, и^ слђжащихъ ѓ^хозїи` и^ ё^би` иX” И$ ё^би` і^и^ё'е и^ѓ^ра'ма и^ бњжа ѓ^хозїя.

And it came to pass, when Jeu was taking vengeance on the house of Achaab, that he found the princes of Juda and the brethren of Ochozias ministering to Ochozias, and he slew them.

и^ рече і^и^ё'е, е^же възыска'ти ѓ^хозїю, и^ ја%ша е^го врачђ'ющася в# самарїи. и^ приведоша е^го къ і^ё'еви, и^ ё^би` е^го, и^ погребо'ша е^го, рњша б^о ја%ко сн~ъ і^ѓ^сафа'товъ е^сть. и^же взыска` г~а всњмъ срDцем# е^го. и^ не бысть в домђ` ѓ^хозїине крњпости ѓ^ црsтве е^же цр~емъ быти кое^мђ`”

And he gave orders to seek Ochozias: and they took him while he was healing his wounds in Samaria, and they brought him to Jeu, and he slew him; and they buried him, for they said, He is the son of Josaphat, who sought the Lord with all his heart. So there was none in the house of Ochozias to secure their power in the kingdom.

И$ гоџолїя мт~и ѓ^хозїина ви'дњ ја%ко мр~твъ бысть сн~ъ ея`. і^ и^зги'бе сњмя цр~ьско в# домђ` і^ё'дине”

And Gotholia the mother of Ochozias saw that her son was dead, and she arose and destroyed all the seed royal in the house of Juda.

И$ѓ^саве'џъ же дщ^и цр~ева въста'вши та'и, и^ ё^кра'де і^ѓ^а'сса сн~а ѓ^хозїина эT среди сн~овъ цр~ьскихъ е^гда` ё^бивахђ и^хъ” И$ съкры е^го с кормилице'ю е^го в хра'мњ постелнMњ” А$ и^ѓ^савеg и^же съкры е^го б^њ дщ^и цр~я и^ѓ^раMля” Сестра` ѓ^хозїина, жена же і^ѓ^да'я а^рхїере'я. и^ того ради гоџолїя не ё^би` е^го”

But Josabeeth, the daughter of the king, took Joas the son of Ochozias and rescued him secretly out of the midst of the sons of the king that were put to death, and she placed him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Josabeeth daughter of king Joram, sister of Ochozias, wife of Jodae the priest, hid him, and she even hid him from Gotholia, and she did not slay him.

И$ бысть с ни'ми в# домђ бж~їи съкрытъ, ѕ~, лњтъ. и^ црsтвова` гоџолїя на земли` въ лњта тїи`”

And he was with him hid in the house of God six years; and Gotholia reigned over the land.
