Joatham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Jerusa, daughter of Sadoc.

и^ сътвори' же чт^о право е^сть преD гм~ъ по вся и^же сътвори` и^ѓ^зїя эTц~ъ е^го. ра'звњ чт^о не вни'де въ цр~ковь гн~ю. и^ е^ще` лю'дїе съгрњша'хђ.

And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Ozias did: but he went not into the temple of the Lord. And still the people corrupted themselves.

то'и създа` вра'та до'мђ гн~ю высо'ка, и^ въ стњнњ` е^го положи` ѓ^рђжїя.

He built the high gate of the house of the Lord, and he built much in the wall of Opel.

и^ гра'ды же създа` на горахъ і^ё'диныхъ, и^ на лњсехъ дворы` и^ столпы`”

In the mountain of Juda, and in the woods, he built both dwelling-places and towers.

И$ тои ѓ^полчи'ся противђ цр~я сн~овъ а^ммо'нь. и^ ѓ^долњ` е^го. и^ дава'хђ е^мђ сн~ове а^м#мо'ни на е^дїно лњто по р~ тала'нтъ сребра`. и^ Wі~. коры` мњры пшени'цы, и^ толико же мњръ ја^чме'ня сїя е^мђ приноша'ше цр~ь сн~овъ а^м#мо'нь на лњто, въ а~ е лњто, и^ в~ е, и^ г~ е”

He fought against the king of the children of Ammon, and prevailed against him: and the children of Ammon gave him even annually a hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. These the king of the children of Ammon brought to him annually in the first and second and third years.

И$ ё^крњплеn же е^сть и^ѓ^а^џа'мъ, того ра'ди чт^о ё^правля'ше пђти` своя преD гм~ъ бм~ъ свои^мъ.

Joatham grew strong, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.

и^ про'чая же словеса` и^ѓ^а^наџа'на и^ всњхъ ѓ^полче'нїи е^го и^ дњла пи'сана сђть въ кни'ѕњ цр~ь і^ё'диныX і^и^л~евыхъ,

And the rest of the acts of Joatham, and his war, and his deeds, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Juda and Israel.

к~е, лњтъ бысть, е^гда` црsтвова'ти нача`, и^ ѕ~і, лTњ црsтвова` въ і^ерsли'мњ,

And Joatham slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David: and Achaz his son reigned in his stead.

ё^спе' же и^ѓ^а^џа'мъ съ эTц~ы свои'ми. и^ погребо'ша е^го въ' градњ двд~вњ. и^ црsтвова` а^ха'зъ сн~ъ е^го в него мњсто”
