Внегда' же погђби'тъ г~ь б~ъ твои страны` ја%же г~ь б~ъ твои дае'тъ тебњ` зе'млю и^хъ. и^ причасти'ши ю&, и^ всели'шися въ гра'ды и^хъ и^ въ домы` и^хъ”

And when the Lord thy God shall have destroyed the nations, which God gives thee, even the land, and ye shall inherit them, and dwell in their cities, and in their houses,

Тр^и гра'ды да эTлђчи'ши себњ` среди` земля` свое^я, юy г~ь б~ъ твои дае'тъ тебњ` въ прича'стїе,

thou shalt separate for thyself three cities in the midst of thy land, which the Lord thy God gives thee.

ё^гото'ви себњ` пђть, и^ на' трое раздњли` предњ'лы зеMля` твое^а, ю^же раздњля'етъ тебњ` г~ь б~ъ твои, и^ да бђдетъ ё^бњ'жище та'мо вся'комђ ё^бїицы”

Take a survey of thy way, and thou shalt divide the coasts of thy land, which the Lord thy God apportions to thee, into three parts, and there shall be there a refuge for every manslayer.

Се' же да бђ'детъ заповњд'анїе ё^бїицы, и^же а'ще ё^бњжи'тъ та'мо и^ жи'въ бђ'детъ. и^же а'ще ё^бїеT бли'жняго свое^го не хотя`, си' же не ненави'дњ е^го пре'жDе вчера'шняh дн~и и^ тре'тїяго”

And this shall be the ordinance of the manslayer, who shall flee thither, and shall live, whosoever shall have smitten his neighbour ignorantly, whereas he hated him not in times past.

І$ и^же а^ще по'идеT с по'дрђгомъ е^го въ лњ'съ събира'ти дрова`, и^ попо'лъзнетъ рђка` е^мђ съ секи'рою сњкђщи дрова`, и^ спаD секи'ра с топори'ща лђ'читъ по'дрђга е^го и^ ё'мрњтъ” И$ сїи да ё^бњжи'тъ въ е^ді'нъ эT граD сиX и^ да бђдетъ жи'въ”

And whosoever shall enter with his neighbour into the thicket, to gather wood, if the hand of him that cuts wood with the axe should be violently shaken, and the axe head falling off from the handle should light on his neighbour, and he should die, he shall flee to one of these cities, and live.

да не го'нитъ ё%жика кро'ви въ слDњ ё^би'вшаго, ја^ко раZгориTся срDце е^мђ и^ пости'гнетъ и&” А/ще бђ'детъ надолзњ пђть е^го и^ ё^бїеT дш~ђ и^ ё'мреT” Сїе же нњсть сђ'дъ смр~тныи, поне'же не б^њ ненави'дя е^го пре'жDе вчера'шняго и^ тре'тїяго дн~и”

Lest the avenger of blood pursue after the slayer, because his heart is hot, and overtake him, if the way be too long, and slay him, though there is to this man no sentence of death, because he hated him not in time past.

Сего` ради заповњ'даю а^зъ тебњ` сло'во с^е гл~я, тр^и гра'ды да эTлђ'чиши себњ`”

Therefore I charge thee, saying, Thou shalt separate for thyself three cities.

А/ще л^и разши'ритъ г~ь б~ъ предњ'лы твоя`, ја^коже кля'ся эTц~емъ твои^мъ, и^ да'стъ тебњ` г~ь вс^ю зе'млю ю^же ре'клъ эTц~емъ твои^мъ да'ти”

And if the Lord shall enlarge thy borders, as he sware to thy fathers, and the Lord shall give to thee all the land which he said he would give to thy fathers;

А/ще послђшае^ши твори'ти вс^я за'повњди сїа, ја%же а%зъ заповњ'даю тебњ` дне'сь. люби'ти г~а б~а свое^го, и^ ходи'ти въ вс^я пђти` е^го вс^я дн~и” И$ да приложи'ши себњ` е^ще` тр^и гра'ды к сиM трїеM гра'домъ.

if thou shalt hearken to do all these commands, which I charge thee this day, to love the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways continually; thou shalt add for thyself yet three cities to these three.

и^ да не пролїе'тся кро'вь беZви'нна въ земли` твое^и. ю^же г~ь б~ъ тво'и дае^тъ тебњ` въ прича'стїе. и^ да не бђ'детъ на тебњ` кро'ви пови'н#ны”

So innocent blood shall not be spilt in the land, which the Lord thy God gives thee to inherit, and there shall not be in thee one guilty of blood.

А/ще же бђ'детъ чл~къ ненави'дя по'дрђга свое^го. и^ поDса'дђ сътвори на'нь, и^ въста'нетъ на'нь и^ ё^бїеT дш~ђ е^го и^ ё'мретъ, и^ въбњ'гнетъ въ е^ді'нъ гра'дъ сихъ”

But if there should be in thee a man hating his neighbour, and he should lay wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him, that he die, and he should flee to one of these cities,

да по'слютъ ста'рцы гра'да того, и^ да пои^ма'ют# е^го и^ эTтђ'дњ, и^ да предадя'тъ е^го в рђцњ ё%жицы кро'ви, и^ да ё%мреT”

then shall the elders of his city send, and take him thence, and they shall deliver him into the hands of the avengers of blood, and he shall die.

¹³

да не пощади'тъ ё^бо е^го ѓ%котвое`, и^ да ѓ^чи'стиши кровь без#грњшнђ эT і^и^л~я, и^ бл~го бђ'детъ тебњ`”

Thine eye shall not spare him; so shalt thou purge innocent blood from Israel, and it shall be well with thee.

И$ да не прелђчи'ши предњ'ла по'дрђга свое^го, ја%же поста'виша эTц~ы твои` въ прича'стїи твое^мъ. и%мже причасти'лся е^си въ земли` ю^же г~ь б~ъ дае'тъ тебњ` въ прича'стїе твое`”

Thou shalt not move the landmarks of thy neighbour, which thy fathers set in the inheritance, in which thou hast obtained a share in the land, which the Lord thy God gives thee to inherit.

¹⁵

И$ да не пребђдеT по'слђхъ е^ді'нъ въ послђшество` на чл~ка по вся'кои ѓ^би'де и^ по вся'комђ грњхђ`, и^же а'ще съгрњши'тъ. н^о при ё^стњхъ двою` свњдњтель и^л^и трїе^хъ, да ста'нетъ вся'ко сло'во.

One witness shall not stand to testify against a man for any iniquity, or for any fault, or for any sin which he may commit; by the mouth of two witnesses, or by the mouth of three witnesses, shall every word be established.

¹⁶

А/ще л^и ста'нетъ по'слђхъ неправди'в# на чл~ка гл~я до него` безче'стїе”

¹⁶

And if an unjust witness rise up against a man, alleging iniquity against him;

¹⁷

да ста'нета ѓ%ба чл~ка и%ма же е^сть пря` преD гм~ъ, и^ прDе жерцы, и^ преD сђдїа'ми и^же бђ'дђтъ въ ты'и дн~и”

then shall the two men between whom the controversy is, stand before the Lord, and before the priests, and before the judges, who may be in those days.

¹⁸

И$ да и^спыта'ютъ и^хъ сђдїя` прилњжно. сеже по'слђхъ непра'веденъ послђшествова'ше непра'вдђ и^ сђпротивля'ася на бра'та свое^го.

¹⁸

And the judges shall make diligent inquiry, and, behold, if an unjust witness has borne unjust testimony; and has stood up against his brother;

да сътворите е^мђ ја^коже и^ ѓ'нъ ё^мы'сли сђпроти'въ на бра'та свое^го, да эTвр'ьжете ѕло'е эT ваs самњ'хъ,

¹⁹

then shall ye do to him as he wickedly devised to do against his brother, and thou shalt remove the evil from yourselves.

да и^ про'чїи ё^слы'шавше ё^боятся, и^ не приложа'тъ къ семђ` твори'ти словеси` ѕла'го сего` въ ваs”

And the rest shall hear and fear, and do no more according to this evil thing in the midst of you.

да не пощади'тъ и& ѓ%котвое`. н^о дш~а въ дш~и мњ'сто, ѓ%ко въ ѓ%ка мњ'сто, зђ'бъ въ зђ'ба мњ'сто, рђка` въ рђки` мњ'сто, нога` въ ноги` мњ'сто. по всемђ` и^же а'ще кт^о да'стъ поро'къ на по'дрђга своего, си'це възда'ст#ся е^мђ”

Thine eye shall not spare him: thou shalt exact life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
