Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

Cursing, and lying, and murder, and theft, and adultery abound in the land, and they mingle blood with blood.

Сего ради и^ въскор#битъ земля`, и^ ё'малится сᲆ всњми всел#шимися на не'и, съ ѕбњремъ по'льским#, и^ сᲆ га'ды зе'мными, и^ съ пти'цами небе'сными. и^ ры'бы мор#скыя ѓ^скђдњю'тъ.

Therefore shall the land mourn, and shall be diminished with all that dwell in it, with the wild beasts of the field, and the reptiles of the earth, and with the birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea shall fail:

ја%ко да никтоже не приTся, н^и ѓ^блича'ется никто'же” Лю'дїе же мои` а^ки съпроти'въ гл~яи жрецъ,

that neither any one may plead, nor any one reprove another: but my people are as a priest spoken against.

и^ эTнемо'жеся вᲆ дн~ех#, и^ эTнемо'жеTся пррoкъ с тобо'ю но'щїю. к но'щи прит#кнђхъ мт~рь твою”

Therefore they shall fall by day, and the prophet with thee shall fall: I have compared thy mother unto night.

Оу^подоби'ша бо ся лю'дїе мои` а^ки не и^мђще ё^мњнїя. ја%ко т^ы ё^мњнїе эTве'рже, эTвръгђ и^ а'зъ тебе эT жречествова'ти мнњ`. и^ ја%ко забы'лъ е^си ꙁако'нъ б~а свое^го, забђдђ и^ а'зᲆ ча'да твоа`.

My people are like as if they had no knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt not minister as priest to me: and as thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I also will forget thy children.

по мно'жествђ и^хъ та'ко съгрњшишA мнњ`, сла'вђ иX въ бесчесᲄїе положђ”

According to their multitude, so they sinned against me: I will turn their glory into shame.

Грњхи людїи мои^хъ и^ꙁъја^дятъ, и в неправда'хъ и^хъ въꙁмђтъ и^нїи дш~а и^хъ”

They will devour the sins of my people, and will set their hearts on their iniquities.
9
И$ бђдетъ ја%коже лю'дїе та'ко и^ жрецъ. и^ м#щђ в# нихъ пђти и^хъ и^ мышленїя и^хъ эTда'мъ и^мᲆ.

And the priest shall be as the people: and I will avenge on them their ways, and I will recompense to them their counsels.
10
и^ бђдђтъ ја%сти, и^ не насы'тятся. съблђди'ша, и^ не и^спра'вятся. поне'же г~а ѓ^ста'виша ја%ко снабдᲇти”

And they shall eat, and shall not be satisfied: they have gone a-whoring, and shall by no means prosper: because they have left off to take heed to the Lord.

Блђдъ, и^ вино, и^ пїаничество прїяT срDце лю'дїи мои^хъ.

The heart of my people has gladly engaged in fornication and wine and strong drink.
12
зна'менїи въпрошахђ, и^ же'злы е^го повњда'хђ е^мђ. дх~омъ блђженїя прельстишася, и^ съблђди'ша эT б~а свое^го”

They asked counsel by means of signs, and they reported answer to them by their staves: they have gone astray in a spirit of whoredom, and gone grievously a-whoring from their God.

ВръхоM гор#нымъ требы кладя'хђ, и^ холмоM ᲄребы полага'хђ. поD дђбоM, и^ поD бороM, и^ поD дђбомъ вњтвенемъ ја%ко добръ кро'въ” Сего ради блђ'дят# дщеря ва'ша, и^ невњсты ва'ша любодњюT”

They have sacrificed on the tops of the mountains, and on the hills they have sacrificed under the oak and poplar, and under the shady tree, because the shade was good: therefore your daughters shall go a-whoring, and your daughters-in-law shall commit adultery.

и^ не присњщђ дщерехъ ва'шихъ е^гда` блђ'дятъ, и^ невњсты ва'ша е^гда` любодњ'ютъ” ЈА/ко и^ тїи съ блDђники сᲆгрњзи'шася, и^ с# съвръшеными требы кладяхђ, и^ лю'дїе смысля'щеи съ блђдницею с#плета'хђся”

And I will not visit upon your daughters when they shall commit fornication, nor your daughters-in-law when they shall commit adultery: for they themselves mingled themselves with harlots, and sacrificed with polluted ones, and the people that understood not entangled itself with a harlot.

ᲄы же і^и^л~ю не неразђмњва'и, і^ё'да не в#ходи въ галга'лђ, и^ не въсходите в до'мъ ѓ%н#новъ. и^ не кла'няитеся госпо'демъ л#жи'вымъ.

But thou, Israel, be not ignorant, and go ye not, men of Juda, to Galgala; and go not up to the house of On, and swear not by the living Lord.
16
ја^ко ю%ница стрњкомъ. стрњчема раꙁгорњся і^и^л~ь. нн~њ напасеть я& г~ь ја%ко те'лца на простран#нњ.

For Israel was maddened like a mad heifer: now the Lord will feed them as a lamb in a wide place.
17
прича'стникᲆ кђми'ромъ е^фрњмᲆ, положи себњ` събла'зны,
17
Ephraim, joined with idols, has laid stumbling-blocks in his own way.
18
и^ꙁволи ханане'я, блђдя'ще въз#блђдиша. възлю'биша безъчестїе эT меженїя е^мђ.
18
He has chosen the Chananites: they have grievously gone a-whoring: they have loved dishonour through her insolence.
19
съвра'тъ дх~а е^мђ въсви'щетᲆ въ крылђ е^го, и^ срамятся эT тре'бникъ и^хъ”

Thou art a blast of wind in her wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their altars.
