And these are the words of the book which Jeremias sent from Jerusalem to the elders of the captivity, and to the priests, and to the false prophets, even an epistle to Babylon for the captivity, and to all the people;

Воꙁми` себњ` рого'ꙁъ кни'жныи, и^ въпиши вонь вс^я словеса` ја%же съгл~ахъ к тебњ, на і^и^л~я и^ на і^ё'дђ, и^ на вся` страны`, эT негоже дн~е гл~авшђ м^и к тебњ`. эT дн~и і^ѓ^сїи цр~я і^ё'дина и^ до сего дн~е.

(after the departure of Jechonias the king and the queen, and the eunuchs, and every freeman, and bondman, and artificer, out of Jerusalem;)

негли` ё^слы'шитъ доM і^ё'доv вс^е ѕло`, е^же а^ꙁъ мы'шлю сътвори'ти и^мъ. да ся ѓ^братя'тъ эT пђти` свое^го ꙁла'го, и^ млsтивъ бђдђ непра'вдамъ и^хъ и^ грњхомъ иX”

by the hand of Eleasan son of Saphan, and Gamarias son of Chelcias, (whom Sedekias king of Juda sent to the king of Babylon to Babylon) saying,

И$ воꙁва` і^еремїа варђха сн~а нирїина, и вписа` варђхъ эT ё'стъ і^еремїинъ вс^я словеса` гн~я ја%же съгл~а к немђ, в рогоZ кни'жныи.

Thus said the Lord God of Israel concerning the captivity which I caused to be carried away from Jerusalem;

и^ заповњда і^еремїя варђхђ гл~я. мене` стрегTђ и^ не могђ вни'ти въ доM гн~ь.

Build ye houses, and inhabit them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruits thereof;
6
н^о вни'ди т^ы и^ почти` в рого'зњ сеM, в не'мже написаl е^си эT ё'сᲄъ моиX словеса` гн~я, вᲆ ё%ши люDстњ в домђ` гн~и въ дн~ь а^л#ка'нїя. и^ въ ё%ши всемђ до'мђ і^ё'динђ приходя'щиM эT граD свои^х#, да почтеши иM.

and take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, and be multiplied, and be not diminished.

е^гда падетъ моли'тва и^хъ преD лицеM гн~имъ, и^ ѓ^братяTся эT пђти и^хъ ꙁла'го” ЈА/ко вели'ка ја%росᲄь и^ гнњвъ гн~ь, и^же съгл~а на лю'ди сїа.

And seek the peace of the land into which I have carried you captive, and ye shall pray to the Lord for the people: for in its peace ye shall have peace.

и^ сътвори` варђхъ сн~ъ ни'рїинъ, по всемђ` е^ли'ко ꙁаповњда е^мђ і^еремїя пррoк#, почте въ кни'гахъ словеса` гн~я въ домђ` гн~и”

For thus saith the Lord; Let not the false prophets that are among you persuade you, and let not your diviners persuade you, and hearken not to your dreams which ye dream.

И$ бы'сть вᲆ пятое лњто і^ѓ^аки'ма цр~я і^ё'дина, в# девя'тыи мsць. ꙁаповњ'даша а^л#ка'нїе преD лицемъ гн~имъ всњмъ лю'демъ въ і^ерsли'мњ, и^ всемђ` мно'жествђ, е^же сни'деся эT граD і^ё'динъ въ і^рsли'мъ.

For they prophesy to you unrighteous words in my name; and I sent them not.

и^ почита'ше варђхъ въ кни'ѕњ словеса` і^еремїина въ домђ` гн~и, в# домђ гамарїевњ сн~а сафа'ня кни'гъчїя, въ дво'рњ вы'шнеM въ преDверїи враT до'мђ гн~я но'ваго, въ ё%ши всњхъ лю'дїи”

For thus said the Lord; When seventy years shall be on the point of being accomplished at Babylon, I will visit you, and will confirm my words to you, to bring back your people to this place.

И$ слы'ша михе'я сн~ъ гамарїевъ сн~а сафа'ня, вс^я словеса` гн~я эT кни'гъ.

And I will devise for you a device of peace, and not evil, to bestow upon you these good things.
12
и^ сни'де въ до'мъ цр~евъ, и^ въ до'мъ кни'жника. и^ с^е тђ вси` кня'ѕи сњдя'хђ, е^лиса'ма книг#чїи, и^ далеа сн~ъ семелїевᲆ, і^ѓ^а^наџа'н# сн~ъ а^хороv и^ гамарїя сн~ъ сафа'нь, и^ седекїа сн~ъ а^нанїи'нъ, и^ вс^и кня'ѕи.

And do ye pray to me, and I will hearken to you: and do ye earnestly seek me, and ye shall find me;
13
и^ съвњсти иM михе'я вс^я словеса`, ја%же слы'ша чтђща варђха въ ё%ши лю'демъ”

for ye shall seek me with your whole heart.
14
И$ посла'ша вс^и кня'ѕи къ варђхђ сн~ђ ни'рїинђ, і^ё^де'ина сн~а наџанїина, сн~а семелїина, сн~а хђсїина, гл~юще. кни'ги ја%же почита'е^ши въ ё%ши лю'демъ, возми я& въ рђ'кђ свою и^ прїиди. и^ вꙁя` варђхъ сн~ъ нирїинъ кни'ги в рђкђ своею, и^ сни'де к ниM”

And I will appear to you:

и^ реко'ша е^мђ, паки почти` въ ё^ши наши. и^ почте варXђ въ ё%ши и^х#.

whereas ye said, The Lord has appointed for us prophets in Babylon:
16
и^ быs ја^ко слы'шаша вс^я словеса`, совњщашаs ко'ждо кᲆ бли'жнемђ свое^мђ, и^ рњша варђхђ. въꙁвᲇстя'ще въꙁвњстиM цр~ю вся словеса` с^и”

Thus saith the Lord concerning Achiab, and concerning Sedekias; Behold, I will deliver them into the hands of the king of Babylon; and he shall smite them in your sight.

и^ вᲆпрашаша варђха гл~юще, эTкђдђ е^си въписаl вс^я словеса с^и.

And they shall make of them a curse in all the captivity of Juda in Babylon, saying, The Lord do to thee as he did to Sedekias, and as he did to Achiab, whom the king of Babylon fried in the fire;

и^ реq варXђ эT ё'стъ і^еремїинъ. и^сповњ'да м^и вс^я словеса` с^и, а%ꙁ же писа'хъ въ кни'ги”

because of the iniquity which they wrought in Israel, and because they committed adultery with the wives of their fellow-citizens, and spoke a word in my name, which I did not command them to speak, and I am witness, saith the Lord.

И$ реко'ша кня'ѕи варђхђ, шеD съкры'ися т^ы і^ и^еремїа, и^ чл~къ да не ё^вњсть гдњ` в^ы е^ста.

And to Samæas the Ælamite thou shalt say,

и^ внидо'ша къ цр~ю въ дворъ. кни'гиy в#даша снабдњти в# домђ` е^лисама'ни книг#чїа. и^ совњсти'ша цр~ю вс^я словеса`.

I sent thee not in my name: and to Sophonias the priest the son of Maasæas say thou,

и^ посла` цр~ь і^ё^де'ина в#ꙁяти кни'ги. и^ взя я& эT домђ` е^лисама'ня. и^ почте і^ё^де'инъ въ ё'ши цр~евы, и^ въ ё%ши всњхъ кня'ѕь стоащихъ ё^ цр~я.

The Lord has made thee priest in the place of Jodae the priest, to be ruler in the house of the Lord over every prophet, and to every madman, and thou shalt put them in prison, and into the dungeon.

цр~ь же сњдя'ше въ храмњ зи'мнMњ, въ девя'тыи мsць. и^ поста'влено б^њ преD ни'мъ ѓ%гнище со ѓ%гнемᲆ”

And now wherefore have ye reviled together Jeremias of Anathoth, who prophesied to you?

И$ быs чтђщђ і^ё^де'инђ, тре'тїи рядъ и четвертыи, раꙁ#дробї я& бри'твою книг#чїя, и^ въꙁмета'ше на ѓ^гненое ѓ%гнище. до'ндеже сконча'ся ве'сь рого'ꙁъ на ѓ%гненомъ ѓ%гнищи”

Did he not send for this purpose? for in the course of this month he sent to you to Babylon, saying, It is far off: build ye houses, and inhabit them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

И$ не ё^жасо'шася и^ не растер#ꙁаша риꙁъ свои^хъ, цр~ь и^ вс^и ѓ%троцы е^го слы'шавшїи вс^я словеса` с^и.

And Sophonias read the book in the ears of Jeremias.

е^н#наџан# же и^ далеа, и^ гамарїа', и^ годолїа, гл~аша цр~ю, ја%коже не сожещи рого'за. и^ не послђша и^хᲆ”
30
Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremias, saying,

И$ повелњ цр~ь і^е^ремеи'лю сн~ђ а^мале'ховђ, і^ сарае^ви сн~ђ е%ꙁрилевђ, и^ селемїю сн~ђ а^вда'евђ. да и^ꙁымђт# варђ'ха книг#чїя, і^ и^еремїю пррoка. н^о съкры я& г~ь”

Send to the captivity, saying, Thus saith the Lord concerning Samæas the Ælamite, Since Samæas has prophesied to you, and I sent him not, and he has made you to trust in iniquity,

И$ бысᲄь сло'во гн~е къ і^еремїи потомъ ја%ко сож#же цр~ь рого'ꙁъ, и^ вс^я словеса` ја%же въписа` варђхъ эT ё'стъ і^еремїинъ гл~я.

therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will visit Samæas, and his family: and there shall not be a man of them in the midst of you to see the good which I will do to you: they shall not see it.

паки воꙁми` рого'ꙁъ дрђгїи, и^ въпиши вс^я словеса` сђща'я в рого'ꙁᲇ, и^же соQже цр~ь і^ѓ^а^киM”

И къ і^ѓ^а^кимови рече'ши. та'ко рече г~ь, т^ы сож#же сїя кни'ги, гл~я, почто` въписа в ня`, гл~я въходя` вни'детъ цр~ь вављ=лоньскь, и^ потребитъ ꙁе'млю сїю, и^ потребиT с не'я чл~ки и^ ско'тъ”

Того ра'ди си'це реq г~ь на і^ѓ^а^ки'ма цр~я і^ё'дина, не бђдеT е^мђ сњдя'щаго на столњ двд~вњ. и^ бђдетъ тњ'ло е^го мр~твое поврьжено на ꙁнои` де'ньнњмъ, и^ на мра'зњ но'щнњмъ.

и^ посᲇщђ на'нь, и^ на рожDенїе е^го и^ на ѓтроки е^го. и^ наведђ на' ня и^ на живђщ'ая въ і^ерsли'мњ, и^ на' ꙁемлю і^ё'динђ вс^е ꙁло`. е^же съгл~ахъ на' ня и^ не послђшаша”

И$ взя` варђх# рогоZ дрђгїи, и^ в#писа` вонь эT ё%сᲄъ і^е^ремїинъ вс^я словеса` кни'гъ ја%же соQже і^ѓ^а^ки'мъ, и^ е^ще` приложи'шася е^мђ словеса` множа'иша неже пр'ьвњи”
