И прїидо'ша вся` вое^во'ды си'лы, и^ѓ^а^н#на'нъ, і^ и^е^ꙁонїа сн~ъ масее^въ, и^ вс^и лю'дїе ма'лъ и^ вели'къ,

The Word that came to Jeremias from the Lord in the days of Joakim, king of Juda, saying,

къ і^е^ремїи пррoкђ, и^ реко'ша е^мђ. да паде'тъ мл~тва на'ша преD лицемъ твои^мъ, и^ моли'ся ѓ^ насъ къ гв~и б~ђ твое^мђ ѓ^ ѓ^ста'вшиX сихъ, ја%ко ѓ^ста` ма'ло насъ эT многъ, ја%коже и^ ѓ'чи твои ви'дятъ.

Go to the house of the Archabin, and thou shalt bring them to the house of the Lord, into one of the courts, and give them wine to drink.

и^ да въꙁвњститъ наM г~ь б~ъ твои пђть, по немђже по'идемъ, и^ сло'во е^же сътворимъ”

So I brought forth Jechonias the son of Jeremin the son of Chabasin, and his brethren, and his sons, and all the family of the Archabin;

И$ рече и^мъ і^е^ремїа пррoкъ, слы'шахъ. с^е а^ꙁъ молю'ся гв~и б~ђ нашемђ, и^ по словесе'мъ вашимъ бђ'детъ. сло'во е^же эTвњща'етъ г~ь, повњмъ вамъ, и^ не потаю` эT ваs словесе`”

and I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the chamber of the sons of Joanan, the son of Ananias, the son of Godolias, a man of God, who dwells near the house of the princes that are over the house of Maasæas the son of Selom, who kept the court.

Тїи же реко'ша і^е^ремїи. бђ'ди г~ь в наs по'слђхъ правди'въ и^ вњренъ, ја%ко по всемђ сло'вђ е^же а^ще по'слетъ г~ь к на'мъ, та'ко сътво'риM,

And I set before them a jar of wine, and cups, and I said, Drink ye wine.

любо добро` любо ѕл^о, гла'са г~а на'шего к немђже м^ы посыла'емъ т^я, послђшаемъ. да ё%не намъ бђ'детъ ја%ко послђшаеM гла'са г~а б~а нашего”

But they said, We will on no account drink wine, for our father Jonadab the son of Rechab commanded us, saying, Ye shall on no account drink wine, neither ye, nor your sons for ever:

И$ е^гда` сконча'ся і~ дн~їи. бысᲄь сло'во гн~е къ і^е^ремїи.

⁷

nor shall ye at all build houses, nor sow any seed, nor shall ye have a vineyard: for ye shall dwell in tents all your days; that ye may live many days upon the land, in which ye sojourn.

⁸

и^ приꙁва` и^ѓ^а^ннана, и^ вое^во'ды си'лы, и^же с ни'мъ бы'ша, и^ вся лю'ди эT ма'ла и^ до вели'ка,

⁸

And we hearkened to the voice of Jonadab our father, so as to drink no wine all our days, we, and our wives, and our sons, and our daughters;

⁹

и^ реq и^мъ. та'ко рече г~ь, к немђже посыла'сте м^я да прострђ мл~твы ваша преD нимъ.

⁹

and so as to build no houses to dwell in: and we have had no vineyard, nor field, nor seed:

а^ще сњдя'ще сњди'те на ꙁемли се'и, т^о въз#гражDђ ваs, а^ не раꙁорю. и^ насажDђ ваs, а^ не посњкђ. ја%ко почи'хъ ѓ^ ꙁлобахъ ја%же сътвориX вамъ.

but we have dwelt in tents, and have hearkened, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.

не бо'итеся эT лица` цр~я вављ=лон#ска, е^го'же в^ы бои^теся эT лица` е^мђ. не бо'итеся рече г~ь, ја%ко а^зъ с ва'ми е^смь, ја^коже и^ꙁбавля'ти ваs, и^ спsти ваs эT рђки` е^го.

And it came to pass, when Nabuchodonosor came up against the land, that we said we would come in; and we entered into Jerusalem, for fear of the host of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the host of the Assyrians: and we dwelt there.

и^ да'мъ вамъ млsть, и^ поми'лђю ваs, и^ ѓ^бращђ ваs на ꙁемля` ва'ша.

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

¹³

и^ а'ще гл~ете в^ы не ся'демъ на ꙁемли` сеи, ја%коже слы'шати глаs г~а б~а на'шеh,

¹³

Thus saith the Lord, Go, and say to the men of Juda, and to them that dwell in Jerusalem, Will ye not receive correction to hearken to my words?

¹⁴

гл~юще, никогда`. н^о въ зе'млю е^гљ=пет#скђ да вни'дем#, и^ не ё^зримъ ра'ти, и^ гла'сђ трђбнаго не ё^слы'шимъ, и^ ѓ^ хлᲇбехъ не въꙁ#а^лчемъ, и^ та'мо вселиMся”

¹⁴

The sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have kept the word which he commanded his children, that they should drink no wine; and they have not drunk it: but I spoke to you early, and ye hearkened not.

¹⁵

Того ради слы'шите сло'во гн~е ѓ^ста'вшїи і^ё'дини” Та'ко рече г~ь вседержи'тель б~ъ і^и^л~евъ. а^ще вы дасте лице` ваше вни'ти въ е^гљпеT, и^ вни'дете та'мо жи'ти.

And I sent to you my servants the prophets, saying, Turn ye every one from his evil way, and amend your practices, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell upon the land which I gave to you and to your fathers: but ye inclined not your ears, and hearkened not.

¹⁶

и^ бђ'детъ ме'чъ е^го'же в^ы бои^те'ся эT лица` е^го ѓ^брящетъ в^ы въ е^гљ=п#тњ. и^ глDа ѓ^ не'мже в^ы сло'во и%мате эT лица` е^мђ, пости'гнетъ в^ы въ слњ'дъ ваs въ е^гљ=птњ, і^ и^ꙁъмре'те в^ы та'мо.

But the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have kept the command of their father; but this people has not hearkened to me.

¹⁷

и^ бђ'дђт# вс^и мђжи, и^ вс^и и^ноплеме'н#ницы положи'вшеи лице` свое на' ꙁеMлю е^гљ=пет#скђ жи'ти та'мо, ѓ^скђдњюT гла'домъ и^ мече'мъ. и^ бђ'детъ эT ниX ни е^ді'нъ сп~саемъ эT ꙁло'бы, ја%же а^ꙁ# наведђ на' ня”

Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will bring upon Juda and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evils which I pronounced against them.

¹⁸

ЈА/ко та'ко рече г~ь. ја%коже въскапа` ја%рость моя на живђщая въ і^ерsлимᲇ. та'коже въска'плеT и^ на ваs ја%рость моя, въꙁ#шеDшимъ вамъ въ е^гљ=петъ. и^ бђ'дете в# непроходи'мая, и^ повин#ни въ кляTвђ, и^ въ ё^кори'ꙁнђ, и^ не ё%зрите к#семђ мњ'ста сего”

Therefore thus saith the Lord; Since the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have hearkened to the command of their father, to do as their father commanded them:

¹⁹

Сло'во гн~е на ваs ѓ^ста'вшая і^ё'ды, не входи'те въ е^гљ=пеT. и^ нн~њ видяще ви'дите,

¹⁹

there shall never be wanting a man of the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab to stand before my face while the earth remains.

²⁰

ја%ко слђкова'сте въ дш~ахъ вашиX. посла'вше къ мнњ` и^ гл~юще, моли'ся ꙁа на'съ гв~и, и^ по всемђ е^ли'ко съгл~етъ тебᲇ г~ь сътво'римъ”

и^ въꙁвњсти'хъ ваM дне'сь, и^ не послђшасте гла'са гн~я къ все'мъ е^го'же посла` къ ва'мъ.

²²

и^ нн~њ мече'мъ и^ гла'домъ и^ мо'ромъ ѓ^скђдњ'ете на мњ'стњ, на не'же мы'слите и^ти` жи'ти та'мо”
