Hear ye the word of the Lord, all Judea.

ста'ни въ вра'тњхъ домђ гн~я. и^ проповᲇждь тђ` сло'во т^о, и^ гл~и. Слы'шите сло'во гн~е вс^я і^ё^де'я, входя'щеи по вра'тњхъ сиX, да поклони'теся г~ђ.

Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Correct your ways and your devices, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

сїя рече г~ь си'лъ б~ъ і^и^л~евъ” Бл~го твори'те пђти` ваша и^ мышле'нїя ваша, и^ ѓ^бита'ю с ва'ми на мњстњ томъ”

Trust not in yourselves with lying words, for they shall not profit you at all, saying, It is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.

Не хощите надњяᲄися въ словесњхъ лжи'выX рекђщи, хра'мъ гн~ь, хра'мъ гн~ь, хра'мъ гн~ь е^сть”

For if ye thoroughly correct your ways and your practices, and do indeed execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;

ЈА/ко а^ще бл~го речете пђти` ва'ша и^ мышле'нїя ва'ша. а^ще сътворите сђдъ просредњ мђжа і^ и'скреняго е^го,

and oppress not the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, and go not after strange gods to your hurt:

и^ прише'лца и^ си'ра, и^ вдови'ци не сътвори'те льсти'во. ни кро'вь неповиnнђ и^ꙁлїете в мњстњ семъ, и^ по бо'ѕXњ чюжиX не ходи'те в лђка'вствњ са'ми себњ.

then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land which I gave to your fathers of old and for ever.

ѓ^бита'ю с ва'ми в мњстњ се'мъ, въ земли` ю'же да'хъ эTц~ем# вашимъ эT вњка даже и^ до вњка

But whereas ye have trusted in lying words, whereby ye shall not be profited;

⁸

с^е вы` надњетеся на ся въ словесе'хъ лжи'выхъ, и^же не требњ вамъ”

and ye murder, and commit adultery, and steal, and swear falsely, and burn incense to Baal, and are gone after strange gods whom ye know not,

ё^кра'сти, ё^би'ти, блDђствовати кляти'ся лжи'во, жрᲇти ваа^лимђ и^ ходи'ти по боѕњхъ чю'ждихъ и^хже не вњсте”

so that it is evil with you; yet have ye come, and stood before me in the house, whereon my name is called, and ye have said, We have refrained from doing all these abominations.

И$ прїидо'сте и^ ста'сте предо мною в домђ се'м#, в не'мже възва'но е^сть и'мя мое. и^ рекли е^сте и^ꙁба'влени е^смы, сего ра'ди чт^о сътвори'хомъ поноше'нїя т^а.

Is my house, whereon my name is called, a den of robbers in your eyes? And, behold, I have seen it, saith the Lord.

е^да б^о пеще'ра раꙁбо'иникомъ сътворе'нъ еs до'мъ сїи, в немже въꙁва'но е^сть и%мя мое въ ѓ'чїю вашею. а^ꙁъ е^см# а^ꙁъ е^смь, а^ꙁъ ви'дњхъ, рече г~ь”

For go ye to my place which is in Selo, where I caused my name to dwell before, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel.

И$дњте к мњстђ томђ в сило'мъ идеже ѓ^бита'еᲄъ и%мя мое эT нача'ла и^ ви'дите чт^о сътвори'хъ е^мђ лђкаvствъ ра'ди людїи мои^хъ і^и^л~я.

And now, because ye have done all these deeds, and I spoke to you, but ye hearkened not to me; and I called you, but ye answered not;

и^ нн~њ и^же сътвори'ли е^сте вся` дњла сїя, рече г~ь. и^ гл~алъ е^смь къ ва'мъ въ ё'трїи въста'ющи, и^ гл~ющи, и^ не слы'шасте. и^ ꙁва'хъ васᲆ, и^ не эTвњща'сте мнњ.

therefore I also will do to the house whereon my name is called, wherein ye trust, and to the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Selo.

сътворю` до'мђ семђ в нем#же въꙁва'но е^сть и%мя мое, и^ в немже вы` и%мате дръꙁнове'нїе. и^ мњсто и^же да'хъ ва'мъ и^ эTц~емъ вашимъ, ја%ко сътвори'хъ сило'мђ.

And I will cast you out of my sight, as I cast away your brethren, all the seed of Ephraim.

и^ эTврьгђ васъ эT лица` мое^го, ја^ко эTверьгоX всю бра'тїю ва'шђ, все сњмя е^фремово.

¹⁶

Therefore pray not thou for this people, and intercede not for them to be pitied, yea, pray not, and approach me not for them: for I will not hearken unto thee.

ты' же не моли'ся ꙁа лю'ди сїя, ни въспрїими ꙁа нихъ хвалђ и^ мл~твђ, и^ не предъстои^ши мнњ, и^же не ё^слы'шђ т^я.

¹⁷

Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Juda, and in the streets of Jerusalem?

¹⁷

е^да ви'диши чт^о сїи творятъ въ градњхъ і^ё'диныхъ, и^ на площа'дњхъ і^ерsлима.

¹⁸

Their children gather wood, and their fathers kindle a fire, and their women knead dough, to make cakes to the host of heaven; and they have poured out drink-offerings to strange gods, that they might provoke me to anger.

сн~ове събира'ют# дрова`, и^ эTц~ы ꙁажига'ютъ ѓ^гне'мъ, и^ же'ны скропя'тᲆ тђки да сътворятъ хамоны` цр~ци нбsнњи, и^ пожрђтъ богомъ чюжим# и^ мене къ гнњвђ прогнњ'ваютъ. е^да

Do they provoke me to anger? saith the Lord: do they not provoke themselves, that their faces may be ashamed?

мене къ гнњвђ прогнњ'ваютъ, рече г~ь. е^да` не са'ми себњ в# постыдњнїи лица свое^го.

²⁰

Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, my anger and wrath shall be poured out upon this place, and upon the men, and upon the cattle, and upon every tree of their field, and upon the fruits of the land; and it shall burn, and not be quenched.

сего ради та'ко рече г~ь се` ја%рость моя и^ прогнњванїе мое събира'ется на мњсто т^о. на мђжи, и^ на скоты, и^ на древо страны, и^ на плоD ꙁе'мныи, и^ въꙁжеже'тся и^ не ё^га'снетъ”

Thus saith the Lord, Gather your whole-burnt-offerings with your meat-offerings, and eat flesh.

²¹

Сїя рече г~ь си'лъ б~ъ і^и^л~евъ. всесъж#же'нїя ваша преданы жрътвамъ ва'шимъ, і^ и^ꙁъја^ди'те мя'са,

For I spoke not to your fathers, and commanded them not in the day wherein I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, concerning whole-burnt-offerings and sacrifice:

и^же не гл~алъ е^смь съ эTц~ы ва'шими, и^ не заповњ'дахъ иM въ дн~ь въньже и^ꙁведо'хъ иX эT земля` е^гљ=петъски, эT сло'ва всесъж#же'нїа и^ жрътвамъ.

²³

but I commanded them this thing, saying, Hear ye my voice, and I will be to you a God, and ye shall be to me a people: and walk ye in all my ways, which I shall command you, that it may be well with you.

²³

н^о то'кмо заповњдаX и^мъ рекђщи. ё^слы'шите гла'са мое^го, и^ бђдђ вамъ б~ъ, и^ вы` бђдеᲄе мнњ лю'ди. и^ походи'те въ вся'комᲆ пђти` ја%же повелњхъ вамъ, да бл~го бђдетъ вамъ”

But they hearkened not to me, and their ear gave no heed, but they walked in the imaginations of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward;

²⁴

И$ не слы'шаша ни приклони'ша ё'хо свое. н^о и^до'ша в похотњнїи и стропотъствњ срDца свое^го лђка'ваго, сᲆтворени же сђть въспятъ и^ не на преD,

²⁵

from the day that their fathers went forth out of the land of Egypt, even until this day. And I sent to you all my servants, the prophets, by day and early in the morning: yea, I sent them,

эT дн~е ја%же и^зошли` сђть эTц~ы и^хъ эT земля` е^гљ=петъскїя даже до дне сего. и^ послаX к ва'мъ всњхъ ра'бъ мои^хъ прoрокъ по дне, въста'ющи ꙁаётра, и^ посыла'ющи.

but they hearkened not to me, and their ear gave no heed; and they made their neck harder than their fathers.

²⁶

и^ не ё^слы'шаша м^я, ни приклони'ша ё'хо свое. н^о ѓ^жести'ша вы'ю свою, и^ горши сътвори'ли сђть неже эTц~ы и^хъ”

²⁷

Therefore thou shalt speak this word to them;

²⁷

И$ гл~еши к ниM вся` словеса` сїя, и^ не ё^слышаT т^я. и^ воз#ꙁовеши и^хъ, и^ не эTвњща'ютъ тебњ.

²⁸

This is the nation which has not hearkened to the voice of the Lord, nor received correction: truth has failed from their mouth.

²⁸

и^ речеши к нимъ, с^е е^сть ја^зы'къ и^же не послђша гласа г~а б~а свое^го, ни въспрїятъ наказа'нїя. поги'бе вњра, и^ эTя'та е^сть эT ё'стъ и^хъ.

²⁹

Cut off thine hair, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on thy lips; for the Lord has reprobated and rejected the generation that does these things.

²⁹

ѓ^стриꙁи` вла'сы твои` и^ эTмещи, и^ въспрїими плаq и^ рыда'нїе, и^же эTвръглъ г~ь и^ ѓ^ста'ви роD ја%росᲄи своея.

³⁰

For the children of Juda have wrought evil before me, saith the Lord; they have set their abominations in the house on which my name is called, to defile it.

³⁰

и^же сътвори'ша сн~ове і^ё'дины лђка'во въ ѓ'чїю моею, рече г~ь” Поста'виша пораже'нїя своя в домђ` в нем же въꙁва'но е^сть и%мя мое, да ѓ^сквернятъ е^го.

³¹

And they have built the altar of Tapheth, which is in the valley of the son of Ennom, to burn their sons and their daughters with fire; which I did not command them to do, neither did I design it in my heart.

³¹

и^ съꙁда'ша высо'кая тофе'џъ, и^же е^сть в долђ` сн~овᲆ е^но'нь. да съжгђтъ сн~ове и^хъ и^ дще'ри свои` ѓ^гне'мъ. и^же не повелXњ ни помы'слихъ въ срDцы мое^мъ”

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when they shall no more say, The altar of Tapheth, and the valley of the son of Ennom, but, The valley of the slain; and they shall bury in Tapheth, for want of room.

³²

Сего ра'ди с^е дн~їе прїидђтъ, реq г~ь. и^ не речется ктомђ тофеџъ тои до'лъ сн~овъ е^но'нихъ, н^о до'лъ ꙁакла'нїя, и^ погребђтся в# тофеџњ, того ра'ди и^же не бы'сть мњсто”

And the dead bodies of this people shall be for food to the birds of the sky, and to the wild beasts of the earth; and there shall be none to drive them away.

³³

И$ бђдетъ трђпїе людїи сихъ въ снњдь пти'цаM нбsным#, и^ звњремъ зе'мнымъ, и^ не бђдетъ эTгоня'ющаго.

³⁴

And I will destroy out of the cities of Juda, and the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of them that make merry, and the voice of them that rejoice, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride; for the whole land shall become a desolation.

³⁴

и^ ё^поко'и^ти сᲆтворю` эT гра'дъ і^ё'динъ, и^ эT площади і^ерsлима, гласъ ра'досᲄи и^ гла'съ весе'лїя, гласъ жениха` и^ глаs невњсты, в печа'ли б^о бђдеT ꙁемля`”
