И$ бы'сть по' днехъ мноѕXњ ја%ко ё^поко'и г~ь б~ъ і^ил~я эT всXњ врагъ и^хъ и^же ѓ%крsтъ. і^сђсъ же състарњся прешеD дн~и”

And it came to pass after many days after the Lord had given Israel rest from all his enemies round about, that Joshua was old and advanced in years.

И$ съзва` і^сђсъ вс^я сн~ы і^ил~евы, и^ старца и^хъ. и^ кн~ѕя и^хъ, и^ сђдїя и^хъ, и^ книгочїя и^хъ и^ рече къ нимъ, с^е а%зъ състарњхся и преидо'хъ дн~и”

And Joshua called together all the children of Israel, and their elders, and their chiefs, and their judges, and their officers; and said to them, I am old and advanced in years.

Вы' же ви'дњсте вс^е е^лико сътвори г~ь б~ъ ва'шъ всMњ страна'мъ си'мъ, эT лица` ва'шего. зане` г~ь б~ъ на'шъ и^же поможе на'мъ”

And ye have seen all that the Lord our God has done to all these nations before us; for it is the Lord our God who has fought for you.

Видњсте ја%ве ја^ко раздњли'хъ ва'мъ страны`, ѓ^ставшая сїя въ прича'стїе племе'неM вашим#” эT і^ѓ^рдана на вс^я страны` ја%же потребихъ ја%зы'ки, эT мо'ря вели'каго эT за'пада сл~нца”

See, that I have given to you these nations that are left to you by lots to your tribes, all the nations beginning at Jordan; and some I have destroyed; and the boundaries shall be at the great sea westward.

Гь~ же б~ъ ва'шъ то'и потреби'тъ и^хъ эT лица` ва'шего, до'ндеже поги'бнђтъ. и^ да пђститъ на ня ѕвњ'ри лю'ты, до'ндеже потребитъ я&, и^ цр~я и^хъ, эT лица` ва'шего. и^ причастите зе'млю и^хъ. ја^ко же гл~а ва'мъ г~ь б~ъ ва'шъ”

And the Lord our God, he shall destroy them before us, until they utterly perish; and he shall send against them the wild beasts, until he shall have utterly destroyed them and their kings from before you; and ye shall inherit their land, as the Lord our God said to you.

⁶

Оу^крњпи'теся ё^бо ѕњ'ло, снабдњти и^ твори'ти вс^я писа'нїа въ кни'гаX зако'на мољ=сїѓ^ва. да не ё^клони'теся эT него` на' десно и^ на лњ'во”

Do ye therefore strive diligently to observe and do all things written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not to the right hand or to the left;

ЈА/ко да не вни'дете въ стра'ны ѓ^ста'вшая сїя. и^мена` бого'въ иX да не и^менђю'т#ся въ ваs, ни'же да клене'теся и^ми, да не слђ'жите иM, ни'же покло'нитеся и^мъ”

that ye go not in among these nations that are left; and the names of their gods shall not be named among you, neither shall ye serve them, neither shall ye bow down to them.

Но^ г~ђ б~ђ ва'шемђ прильпњтеся, ја%коже твори'сте до сего` дн~е”

⁸

But ye shall cleave to the Lord our God, as ye have done until this day.

⁹

Сего ради потреби` г~ь эT лица` ва'шего, страны` вели'ки и^ си'лны. ја%ко никто'же въста` съпроти'вися ва'мъ до сего` дн~е”

And the Lord shall destroy them before you, even great and strong nations; and no one has stood before us until this day.

Є$ді'нъ эT ваs прогна` ты'сяща, ја%ко г~ь б~ъ ва'шъ б^њ побњжда'я и& эT ваs, ја%коже гл~а ваM”

One of you has chased a thousand, for the Lord our God, he fought for you, as he said to you.

¹¹

И$ та'ко да снабди'те ѕњло люби'ти г~а б~а ва'шего”

¹¹

And take ye great heed to love the Lord our God.

¹²

А/ще б^о эTвратитеся и^ приложите'ся къ ѓ^ста'вшимъ стра'намъ симъ ја^же с ва'ми. и^ бра'ки сътвори'те с ни'ми, и^ смесите'ся с ни'ми, и^ ходи'ти бђ'дете к ни'мъ и^ ѓ^ни` къ ва'мъ”

For if ye shall turn aside and attach yourselves to these nations that are left with you, and make marriages with them, and become mingled with them and they with you,

Вњ'дая вњ'дьте, ја%ко не приложиT ксемђ` г~ь, потреби'ти страn сихъ эT лица` ва'шего, н^о бђ'дђтъ ваM въ сњть и^ въ собла'знъ. и^ гво'здїя въ пята'хъ вашихъ, и^ тр'ьнїемъ въ ѓ%чїю вашею. до'ндеже поги'бнете эT земля` бл~гїа сїя, ю%же да'лъ ваM г~ь б~ъ ваj”

know that the Lord will no more destroy these nations from before you; and they will be to you snares and stumbling-blocks, and nails in your heels, and darts in your eyes, until ye be destroyed from off this good land, which the Lord your God has given you.

¹⁴

А/з же днеs эTхождђ` въ пђть ја%коже и^ вс^и и^же на земли`, вы' же вњ'сте всњмъ срDцемъ ва'шимъ и^ все'ю дш~ею ва'шею. ја%ко не эTпаде` сло'во н^и е^ді'но эT всXњ слове'съ бл~гъ, и%хже рече` г~ь б~ъ ва'шъ къ ва'мъ, вс^е пребыва'етъ на ваs и^ не ѓ^ста` эT нихъ н^и е^ді'но сло'ва”

But I hasten to go the way of death, as all that are upon the earth also do: and know ye in your heart and in your soul, that not one word has fallen to the ground of all the words which the Lord our God has spoken respecting all that concerns us; there has not one of them failed.

¹⁵

Но^ посиX бђ'детъ ја%ко и%мже ѓ%бразомъ прїиде на ва'съ вс^я словеса` до'браа ја%же гл~а г~ь б~ъ на' вы” Та'коже приведеT г~ь на' вы, вс^я словеса` ѕла'я. до'ндеже потребиT в^ы эT земля` бл~гїа сїя, ю%же е^сть далъ ваM г~ь б~ъ вашъ”

And it shall come to pass, that as all the good things are come upon us which the Lord spoke concerning you, so the Lord God will bring upon you all the evil things, until he shall have destroyed you from off this good land, which the Lord has given you,

¹⁶

И$ вънегда` престђ'пите завњтъ гн~ь б~а ва'шего, и^же заповњ'да вамъ. и^ шеDше послђ'жите бого'мъ и^нњмъ, и^ покло'нитеся иM. и^ раZгнњ'вается ја%ростїю г~ь на' вы, и^ поги'бнете ско'ро эT земля` бл~гїя сїя ю%же да'стъ г~ь ваM”

when ye transgress the covenant of the Lord our God, which he has charged us, and go and serve other gods, and bow down to them.
