И$ бы'сть мђжъ эT горы` е^фрњмля и^мя е^мђ ми'ха”

And there was a man of mount Ephraim, and his name was Michaias.

И$ реq мт~ри свое'й. Ты'сящђ ёбо и^ р~, сребреникъ и^же и^зги'бе ё^ тебе и^ проклина'еши, и^ слы'шаX то. и^ реq въ ё%ши мои`. и^ с^е сребро` ё^ мене` аZ взяX и&. и^ реq мати е^го блsвен# сн~ъ мои гв~и”

And he said to his mother, The eleven hundred pieces of silver which thou tookest to thyself, and about which thou cursedst me, and spokest in my ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it: and his mother said, Blessed be my son of the Lord.

И$ эTда'сть ты'сящђ и^ р~, сребре'никовъ мт~ри свое'и. и^ реq мт~и е^го ѓ^сщ~а'юще ѓ^ст~ихъ сребро` гв~и эT рђкы` мое^я тебе` сн~ови мое^мђ сътвори'ти ѓ^бразъ и^звая'нъ и^ слия'нъ, и^ нн~њ эTдамъ е& тебњ`”

And he restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother; and his mother said, I had wholly consecrated the money to the Lord out of my hand for my son, to make a graven and a molten image, and now I will restore it to thee.

И$ эTда'сть сребро` мт~ри свое'и. и^ взя` мт~и е^го, с~, сребрениковъ и^ дасть и& зла'тарю. и^ сътвори` и^мъ ѓ%бразъ и^звя'анъ и^ слїя'нъ. и^ бысть с^е в# домђ` ми'хи”

But he returned the silver to his mother, and his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave them to a silversmith, and he made it a graven and a molten image; and it was in the house of Michaias.

И$ до'мъ михїинъ е^мђ домъ б~а. и^ сътвори` ри'зђ жре'ческђ и^ џераџи'ма. и^ наполни рђкђ е^ді'номђ эT сн~овъ свои^хъ, и^ бы'сть е^мђ въ жре'чество”

And the house of Michaias was to him the house of God, and he made an ephod and theraphin, and he consecrated one of his sons, and he became to him a priest.

И$ в т^ы дн~и не бња'ше цр~я въ і^и^л~и. н^о е^мђже ся видњ правое преD ѓ^чи'ма е^готворя'ше”

And in those days there was no king in Israel; every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

И$ быs ю%ноша эT виџлеѓ%ма і^ю'дина, и^ эT ро'да и^ племени і^ю'дина. се'и же ю%ноша быs левљ=тинъ и^ ѓ^бита'ше т^ђ”

And there was a young man in Bethleem of the tribe of Juda, and he was a Levite, and he was sojourning there.

И$ посеM и%де се'и мђжъ эT гра'да виџлеѓ%ма і^ю'дина. ѓ^бита'ти и^деже ѓ^бря'щет# мњ'сто. и^ прїиде до горы` е^фрњмля и^ до'мђ михїина сходя'ще въ пђть свой”

And the man departed from Bethleem the city of Juda to sojourn in whatever place he might find; and he came as far as mount Ephraim, and to the house of Michaias to accomplish his journey.

И$ реq е^мђ ми'ха эTкђдђ и%деши. и^ реq е^мђ левљ=тинъ а%зъ е^смь эT виџлеѓ%ма і^ю'дина и^дђ же ѓ^бита'ти и^дњже ѓ^брящђ мњ'сто”

And Michaias said to him, Whence comest thou? and he said to him, I am a Levite of Bethleem Juda, and I go to sojourn in any place I may find.

И$ реq е^мђ ми'ха ся'ди со мно'ю. и^ бђ'ди м^и эTц~ъ и^ жре'цъ, а^зъ т^и да'мъ сребре'никовъ, і~, в# гоD, и^ дво'е ри'зы і^ и^же на жи'тїе тебњ.

And Michaias said to him, Dwell with me, and be to me a father and a priest; and I will give thee ten pieces of silver by the year, and a change of raiment, and thy living.

і^ и^де левгљ= въ слDњ е^го” И$ нача` ѓ^битати ё^ мђжа и^ бы'сть ю%ноша ја^ко е^ді'нъ эT сн~овъ е^го”

And the Levite went and began to dwell with the man; and the young man was to him as one of his sons.

И$ напо'лни ми'ха рђкђ левљ=тинђ. и^ бысть е^мђ ю%ноша жрецъ в# домђ е^го”

And Michaias consecrated the Levite, and he became to him a priest, and he was in the house of Michaias.

¹³

И$ рече ми'ха нн~њ ё^вњдњ ја%ко бл~го сотвори'тъ б~ъ мн^њ. ја%ко бы'сть мн^њ левљ=тинъ жре'цъ”

And Michaias said, Now I know that the Lord will do me good, because a Levite has become my priest.
