Сло'во гн~е и^же бы'сть къ михе'ѓви морасџи'тинђ, въ дн~и і^ѓ^а^џаMли, и^ а^ха'ꙁовы, і^ е^зекїины цр~ь і^ё'динъ. и^х#же ради видњ ѓ^ самарїи, и^ ѓ^ і^ерsлимњ”

And the word of the Lord came to Michæas the son of Morasthi, in the days of Joatham, and Achaz, and Ezekias, kings of Juda, concerning what he saw regarding Samaria and Jerusalem.

Слы'шите лю'дїе вс^и словеса`, и^ внемли` ꙁе'мле и^ вс^и и^же на не'и. и^ бђ'детъ г~ь въ ваs въ послђшесᲄвова'нїе, г~ь эT до'мђ свое^го ст~го.

Hear these words, ye people; and let the earth give heed, and all that are in it: and the Lord God shall be among you for a testimony, the Lord out of his holy habitation.

и^м#же се г~ь и^схо'диT эT мњста свое^го. и^ сни'деT, и^ настђ'питъ на высоты ꙁе'мныя.

For, behold, the Lord comes forth out of his place, and will come down, and will go upon the high places of the earth.

и^ поколњ'блются го'ры поD ни'мъ, и^ раꙁдо'ли раста'ются ја^ко во'скъ эT лица` ѓ^гню, и^ ја%ко вода` сходя'щи по го'рь.

And the mountains shall be shaken under him, and the valleys shall melt like wax before the fire, and as water rushing down a declivity.

бесче'стїя ради і^а'ковля вс^е се`, и^ грXњ ра'ди до'мђ і^и^л~ва. чт^о бесче'стїе до'мђ і^а'ковлю, не самарїя л^и ё^бо. чт^о грњ'хъ до'мђ і^ё'динђ, не і^ерsлимъ л^и ё^бо.

All these calamities are for the transgression of Jacob, and for the sin of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what is the sin of the house of Juda? is it not Jerusalem?

и^ положђ самарїю въ стра'жбђ ѓ%вощђ по'л#скомђ и^ в саD виногра'дђ, и^ раꙁвергђ въ про'пасть камы'ки е^я`, и^ ко'ренїе е^я` эTкры'ю.

Therefore I will make Samaria as a store-house of the fruits of the field, and as a planting of a vineyard: and I will utterly demolish her stones, and I will expose her foundations.

и^ вся и^ꙁвая'ныя е^я` съкрђшат#, и^ вся па'пьды е^я` ꙁапа'ляT ѓ^гне'мъ, и^ вся кђми'ры е^я` положђ вᲆ пагђбђ. поне'же эT наи^ма блDђница събра`, и^ эT наи^ма влDђница сᲆвраᲄи”

And they shall cut in pieces all the graven images, and all that she has hired they shall burn with fire, and I will utterly destroy all her idols: because she has gathered of the hires of fornication, and of the hires of fornication has she amassed wealth.

Сего ради въꙁрыдаеT и^ въсплачеTся, и^ по'иде боса и^ нага. сътво'ритъ плаq а^ки ѕмїевъ, и^ печа'ль а^ки дще'рь сљ=ри'н#скь.

Therefore shall she lament and wail, she shall go barefooted, and being naked she shall make lamentation as that of serpents, and mourning as of the daughters of sirens.

ја%ко ѓ^бы'иде ја%ꙁва е^я` и^ прїиде до і^ё'ды, и^ прися'же до вра'тъ людїи мои^хъ до і^ерsлима”

For her plague has become grievous; for it has come even to Juda; and has reached to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

И$же въ ге'џњ не въꙁвелича'итеся, і^ и'же въ а^кљ=мњ не съгражDаите и^ꙁ до'мђ смњшнаго, прьстїю посы'плетеся на посмњя'нїе ваше.

Ye that are in Geth, exalt not yourselves, and ye Enakim, do not rebuild from the ruins of the house in derision: sprinkle dust in the place of your laughter.

всели'вшїяся до'брњ раꙁорю граD е^я`. не и^ꙁы'идетъ живђщїя въ е^на'нь пла'катися дом# и^ и^мњ'ющь е^я` прїиметъ эT ваs ја%ꙁвђ бо'лњꙁнїи.

The inhabitant of Sennaar, fairly inhabiting her cities, came not forth to mourn for the house next to her: she shall receive of you the stroke of grief.

кт^о нача въ бл~гости, вселившїи ся бо'лњзни, ја%ко сни'де ѕл^о эT г~а на вра'та і^ерsлимля.

Who has begun to act for good to her that dwells in sorrow? for calamities have come down from the Lord upon the gates of Jerusalem,

шђмъ ѓ^рђ'жїя и^ кон#никъ живђщимъ в лахїи, нача'лникъ грњхђ т^а е^сть дще'ри сїѓ'ни, ја%ко в тебњ ѓ^брњто'шася бесче'стїя і^и^л~ева”

even a sound of chariots and horsemen: the inhabitants of Lachis, she is the leader of sin to the daughter of Sion: for in thee were found the transgressions of Israel.

Сего ра'ди даси эTпђща'емыя до прича'стїя ге'џова до'мы сђ'я. до'мове сђ'ии вътще бы'ша цр~емъ і^и^л~евомъ.

Therefore shall he cause men to be sent forth as far as the inheritance of Geth, even vain houses; they are become vanity to the kings of Israel;

до'ндеже приведђ прича'сники твоя живђщая в лахи'сњ, да'же до ѓ^дола'ма прїидетъ сла'ва дщери сїѓ'ни

until they bring the heirs, O inhabitant of Lachis: the inheritance shall reach to Odollam, even the glory of the daughter of Israel.

ѓ^бръсни'ся и^ ѓ^стриꙁи по ча'дњхъ своихъ младыхъ, раз#шири ѓбръсненїе твое ја%ко ѓ^релᲆ, ја%ко плњне'ни бы'ша эT тебе`”

¹⁶

Shave thine hair, and make thyself bald for thy delicate children; increase thy widowhood as an eagle; for thy people are gone into captivity from thee.
