And the Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sina, in the tabernacle of witness, on the first day of the second month, in the second year of their departure from the land of Egypt, saying,

Take the sum of all the congregation of Israel according to their kindreds, according to the houses of their fathers' families, according to their number by their names, according to their heads: every male

эT дво'юдесяти` лњт# и^ вы'ше, и^ всяk и^ды'и съ си'лою і^и^л~вою, съгляда'ти и^хъ по си'ле и^хъ, т^ы, і^ а^а^ро'нъ, съзира'ите и^хъ”

from twenty years old and upwards, every one that goes forth in the forces of Israel, take account of them with their strength; thou and Aaron take account of them.

И$ с ва'ми да бђ'дђт# по си'ле и^хъ ко'ждо и^хъ. кождо по племе'ни, ка'ждого эT кн~ѕеи, по домо'м# эTч~ьства да бђ'детъ”

And with you there shall be each one of the rulers according to the tribe of each: they shall be according to the houses of their families.

And these are the names of the men who shall be present with you; of the tribe of Ruben, Elisur the son of Sediur.

These were famous men of the congregation, heads of the tribes according to their families: these are heads of thousands in Israel.

И$ поя` мољ=сїи і^ а^а^ро'нъ мђжа сїя нарече'ныя и^менемъ”

And Moses and Aaron took these men who were called by name.

And they assembled all the congregation on the first day of the month in the second year; and they registered them after their lineage, after their families, after the number of their names, from twenty years old and upwards, every male according to their number:

as the Lord commanded Moses, so they were numbered in the wilderness of Sina.

This is the numbering which Moses and Aaron and the rulers of Israel, being twelve men, conducted: there was a man for each tribe, they were according to the tribe of the houses of their family.

And the whole numbering of the children of Israel with their host from twenty years old and upward, every one that goes out to set himself in battle array in Israel, came to

х~, ты'сђщь и^ Wг~, и^ е~ со'тъ, и^ н~”

six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

Леви'ти же ѓтъ племе'ни ѓ^ч~ьства и^хъ, не съгляда'шася въ сн~охъ і^ил~выхъ”

But the Levites of the tribe of their family were not counted among the children of Israel.

⁴⁸

И$ рече г~ь къ мољ=сїю

⁴⁸

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

вњждь племя` левгі'ино, да не съгляда'еши е&, и^ числа` и^хъ да не прїимеши среди` сн~овъ і^и^лвъ”

⁴⁹

See, thou shalt not muster the tribe of Levi, and thou shalt not take their numbers, in the midst of the children of Israel.

Ты' же приста'ви леви'ты къ хра'мђ свњдњнїя, и^ къ всњмъ съсђ'домъ е^го и^ къ всемђ е^ли'коже е^сть в не'мъ” да въздви'жђтъ сїи` хра'мъ, и^ вс^я съсђды е^го, и^ да слђжатъ в немъ, и^ ѓ^крsтъ хра'ма да ся въполча'тъ”

And do thou set the Levites over the tabernacle of witness, and over all its furniture, and over all things that are in it; and they shall do service in it, and they shall encamp round about the tabernacle.

И$ вънегда` въздви'гнђти хра'мъ, да разрђша'тъ леви'ты, и^ вънегда` поста'вити хра'мъ да поста'вятъ, а^ и^ноплеме'ниk прикасая'ся да ё%мреT”

And in removing the tabernacle, the Levites shall take it down, and in pitching the tabernacle they shall set it up: and let the stranger that advances to touch it die.

И$ да въполча'тся сн~ове і^и^л~вы, мђж# въ свое^мъ чинђ`, и^ мђжъ въ свое^мъ старњи'шинъствњ, съ си'лою свое^ю”

And the children of Israel shall encamp, every man in his own order, and every man according to his company, with their host.

Леви'ти же да ся въполча'тъ съпротивъ ѓ^крsт# хра'ма свњдњ'нїя, и^ да не бђ'детъ съгрњше'нїя въ сн~охъ і^и^л~выхъ, и^ да снабдя'тъ леви'ти са'ми, снабдњ'нїе хра'ма свњдњ'нїя”

But let the Levites encamp round about the tabernacle of witness fronting it, and so there shall be no sin among the children of Israel; and the Levites themselves shall keep the guard of the tabernacle of witness.

И$ сътвори'ша сн~ве і~и^л~вы по всемђ`, е^ли'коже заповњда` г~ь мољ=сїю, та'ко сътвори'ша”

And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
