For the end, a Psalm of David, upon the eighth.

Сп~си мя г~и, ја%ко ѓ^скђдњ преподобныи, ја%ко ё^ма'лишася и%стины эT сн~о'вᲆ чл~чьскихъ,

Save me, O Lord; for the godly man has failed; for truth is diminished from among the children of men.

Сђе'тная гл~а ко'ждо къ и^скренемђ свое^мђ” ё^стны льсᲄи'выя въ срDци, и^ въ срDци гл~аша ꙁла'я”

Every one has spoken vanity to his neighbour: their lips are deceitful, they have spoken with a double heart.

Потреби'тᲆ г~ь вся ё^сᲄны льсти'выа, и ја%ꙁы'кᲆ велерњ'чивᲆ,

Let the Lord destroy all the deceitful lips, and the tongue that speaks great words:

ре'кшая, ја%ꙁы'къ нашь въꙁвели'чимъ, ё^стны` на'ша при на'съ сђть. кто намъ г~ь е^сть;

who have said, We will magnify our tongue; our lips are our own: who is Lord of us?

страсти ра'ди ни'щихᲆ и^ въꙁдыха'нїа ё^бо'гихъ, нн~њ въскрsнђ гл~еть г~ь” положђся въ сп~се'нїе, не ѓ^бинђ'яся ѓ^ немъ”

Because of the misery of the poor, and because of the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord, I will set them in safety; I will speak to them thereof openly.

Словеса` гн~я, словеса` чи'ста. сребро` раждеже'но, и^скђше'но земли`, ѓ^чище'но седмори'цею”

The oracles of the Lord are pure oracles; as silver tried in the fire, proved in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Ты г~и съхрани'ши ны, и^ съблюде'ши ны эT рода сего, и^ въ вњки”

Thou, O Lord, shalt keep us, and shalt preserve us, from this generation, and for ever.

ѓ^крsтъ нечести'вїи хо'дятъ, по высотњ твое'й ё^мно'жилъ е^си сн~ы чл~ческия”

The ungodly walk around: according to thy greatness thou hast greatly exalted the sons of men.
