Then Sisinnes the governor of Celosyria and Phenice, and Sathrabuzanes, with their companions, following the commandments of king Darius,

Тогда` сисинїи пр'ьвыи по цр~и вое^вода сљ=рїи`, и^ финикїи, и^ саџравђза'нїи, и^ съ дрђ'гими послђша'ющими тXњ, и^же эT да'рїя цр~я бя'хђ иM повелњна,

did very carefully oversee the holy works, assisting the ancients of the Jews and governors of the temple.

настоя'хђ сщ~еннымъ ст~ыM дњ'ломъ, потщанњише содњлова'ющи, съ ста'рци і^ереѓ'въ, и^ нача'лници ст~ыхъ.

And so the holy works prospered, when Aggeus and Zacharias the prophets prophesied.

и^ преспњва'ша сщ~е'нна ст~аа дњла, прорица'ющи б^о аг#ге'я и^ захарїя прoрци,

And they finished these things by the commandment of the Lord God of Israel; and with the consent of Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes, kings of Persia,

и^ съвръши'ша сїя по заповњди г~а б~а і^и^л~ева. се'и совTњ кљ=ра и^ дарїя, и^ а^ртаћерћа цр~еи пр'ьскихъ. до шеста'го лњта да'рїя цр~я пр'ьскаго”

the holy house was finished in the three and twentieth day of the month Adar, in the sixth year of king Darius.

И$ съвръшенъ бы'сть доM ст~ыи на'шъ да'же дотретїя'го и^ двадесятаго дн~е, мцsа а^до'ра” Шестаh лњта да'рїя цр~я,

And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and others that were of the captivity, that were added unto them, did according to the things written in the book of Moses.

и^ сътвори'ша сн~ве і^и^л~еви и^ сщ~е'нницы и^ левљ=ти. и^ прочїи`, и^же бњхђ эT плњне'нїя, и^же наставлени сђть. потњхъ и^же напи'сана сђть в# кни'ѕњ мољ=сїѓ^вњ”

And to the dedication of the temple of the Lord they offered an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs;

И$ принесо'ша въ ѓ^бновленїе цр~кви гн~и. ю%нецъ, р~, ѓ%венъ, с~,. а^гнецъ, у~.

and twelve goats for the sin of all Israel, according to the number of the chief of the tribes of Israel.

и^ козлоv за грњхи в#сего` і^и^л~я в~і. по числђ эT колњна і^и^л~ва, в~і”

The priests also and the Levites stood arrayed in their vestments, according to their kindreds, in the service of the Lord God of Israel, according to the book of Moses: and the porters at every gate.

И$ ста'ша сщ~е'н#ницы и^ левљ=ти, ѓ^дња'н#ны въ ри'зы по колњнохъ на дњ'ло г~а б~а і^и^л~ева, по кни'ѕњ мољ=сїѓвњ. и^ вратари по е^ді'ныхъ ко'ждо две'рехъ.

And the children of Israel that were of the captivity held the passover the fourteenth day of the first month, after that the priests and the Levites were sanctified,

и^ съдњ'аша сн~ове і^и^л~еви с тњми и^же бяхђ эT плњненїя па'схђ, д~і, лђнњ мsца пр'ьваго” ЈА/ко ѓ^ст`ишася сщ~е'н#ницы и^ левљ=ти. в#кђпњ

together with all the children of the captivity; for they were sanctified, because the Levites were all sanctified together.

и^ вс^и сн~ве плњне'ныи, ја%ко ѓ^чисти'шаs и^ пожро'шA па'схђ всMњ сн~омъ плњне'ныM, вс^и въкђпњ ѓ^чисти'шаs.

And so they offered the passover for all them of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.

и^ пожроша па'схђ всњмъ сн~овоM и^ племенемъ, и^ бра'тїаM и^хъ сщ~енникоM и^ себњ` сами”

And the children of Israel that came out of the captivity did eat, even all they that had separated themselves from the abominations of the people of the land, and sought the Lord.

И$ ја^до'ша сн~ове і^и^л~еви и^же бя'хђ эT плњненїя вси` и^ ѓ^ста'вшїи эT сквернъ зеMля` то'я и^щђщи г~а.

And they kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days, making merry before the Lord,

и^ просвњща'ша дн~ь пра'зникъ ѓ^прњ'снокомъ сеDмь дн~їи пирђ'ющи преD гм~ъ,

¹⁵

for that he had turned the counsel of the king of Assyria toward them, to strengthen their hands in the works of the Lord God of Israel.

и^же ѓ^брати` совTњ цр~я а^сљ=рьскаго в неM, ё^твръди'ти рђ'кђ и^мъ на дњ'ла г~а б~а і^и^л~ева”
