And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord; Woe, woe worth the day!

сн~е чл~чь, проповњждь. и^ рцы` с^е гл~етъ а^дона'и г~ь.

³

For the day of the Lord is nigh, a day of cloud; it shall be the end of the nations.

³

възрыда'ите, ЭOле ЭOле дн~ь, ја%ко бли'ꙁᲆ дн~ь гн~ь, и^ приближа'ется дн~ь ѓ%блака, и^ время стра'ньско бђдетъ”

And a sword shall come upon the Egyptians, and there shall be tumult in Ethiopia, and in Egypt men shall fall down slain together, and her foundations shall fall.

И$ прїидетъ мечъ на е^гљ=птяны, и^ бђдеT мятежъ въ мђрњхъ. и^ падђтъ ја%ꙁвенїи въ е^гљ=птњ, и^ по'имется мно'жество и^хъ, и^ падђтся ѓ^снова'нїя е^го. и^ расыплются

Persians, and Cretans, and Lydians, and Libyans, and all the mixed multitude, and they of the children of my covenant, shall fall by the sword therein.

прьсе, и^ кри'тяне, и^ ливля'не, и^ мђри, и^ лидя'не, и^ вс^я а^равїя, и^ вс^и примᲇсницы и^ сн~ове и^же эT завњта мое^го, в# немъ мечемъ падђтъ с ни'мъ”

And the supports of Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her strength shall come down from Magdol to Syene: they shall fall by the sword in it, saith the Lord.

Се гл~еT г~ь, и^ падTђся поDпира'ющеи е^гљ=пта. и^ сни'детъ ё^кори'ꙁна е^го до магдо'ла и^ до сои^ниs, мече'мъ падђтъ в нем#, гл~ет# а^дона'и г~ь.

And it shall be made desolate in the midst of desolate countries, and their cities shall be desolate in the midst of the desolate cities:

и^ ѓ^пђстњюT средњ стра'нъ поги'бшь, и^ гради иX средњ гра'дъ ѓ^пђстњвше бђдђтᲆ.

⁸

and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall send fire upon Egypt, and when all that help her shall be broken.

⁸

и^ раꙁђмњютъ ја%ко а^ꙁъ г~ь. е^гда` дамъ ѓ%гнь на е^гљ=петъ, и^ съкрђшатся вс^и помага'ющеи е^мђ”

In that day shall messengers go forth hasting to destroy Ethiopia utterly, and there shall be tumult among them in the day of Egypt: for, behold, it comes.

Въ то'и дн~ь прїидђтъ а^гг~ли эT лица` мое^го в# сеиM, т#ща'щеся погђбити наде'ждђ мђр#ски земли`. и^ бђдетъ иM мятежъ въ дн~ь е^гљ=пет#скь, ја^ко с^е приспњ”

Thus saith the Lord God; I will also destroy the multitude of the Egyptians by the hand of Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon,

Се гл~етᲆ а^дона'и г~ь, и^ погђблю мно'жество е^гљ=пет#ско, рђкою навходоносоровою цр~я вављ=лон#ска,

¹¹

his hand and his people's; they are plagues sent forth from the nations to destroy the land: and they all shall unsheath their swords against Egypt, and the land shall be filled with slain.

¹¹

и^ люDми е^го с ни'мъ. расыпа'теле эT сᲄран# по'слани погђбити ꙁе'млю, і^ и^змъкнTђ вс^и меча` своа на е^гљ=пта, и^ напо'лниTся ꙁемля` ја%ꙁвеныхъ.

¹²

And I will make their rivers desolate, and will destroy the land and the fulness of it by the hands of strangers: I the Lord have spoken.

и^ дамъ рњки и^хъ въ ѓ^пђстњнїе, и^ эTдаM ꙁе'млю в рђцњ ѕлы'хъ, и^ погђблю ꙁе'млю и^ конца ея` въ рђкђ чюждихъ, а^ꙁъ г~ь гл~ахъ”

For thus saith the Lord God; I will also destroy the nobles from Memphis, and the princes of Memphis out of the land of Egypt; and they shall be no more.

ЈА$ко с^е гл~етъ а^дона'и г~ь, погђблю ѓ^гнђшенїя с мем#џи'съ, и^ старњишины съ ꙁемля` е^гљ=пет#ски и^ не бђ'дђтъ ктомђ и^ да'мъ страX въ ꙁемли е^гљ=пет#стњи.

And I will destroy the land of Phathore, and will send fire upon Tanis, and will execute vengeance on Diospolis.

¹⁴

и^ погђблю` ꙁе'млю патор#скђ” и^ да'мъ ѓ%гнь на тани'нъ. и^ сътворю` эTм#щенїе в# диѓ^сњ гра'дњ.

¹⁵

And I will pour out my wrath upon Sais the strength of Egypt, and will destroy the multitude of Memphis.

¹⁵

и^ раꙁлїю крњ'посᲄь свою` на саи'нъ, крњпость е^гљ=пет#скђ. и^ погђблю мно'жество мем#џово.

¹⁶

And I will send fire upon Egypt; and Syene shall be sorely troubled; and there shall be a breaking in Diospolis, and waters shall be poured out.

¹⁶

и^ даM ѓ%гнь на е^гљ=пта. и^ мяте'жемъ воз#мятется саи^съ. и^ въ диѓ'съ граD бђдет# расњли'на, и^ раꙁлњюTся во'ды.

¹⁷

The youths of Heliopolis and Bubastum shall fall by the sword, and the women shall go into captivity.

¹⁷

ю%ноша солньча гра'да, и^ вђвастава мечемъ падђтъ, и^ же'ны въ плᲇне'нїи падђт#.

¹⁸

And the day shall be darkened in Taphnæ, when I have broken there the sceptres of Egypt: and the pride of her strength shall perish there: and a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall be taken prisoners.

¹⁸

и^ въ тафнесъ посђмрачится дн~ь. е^гда` съкрђшатъ т^ђ хорђгви е^гљ=пет#ски, и^ поги'бнетъ т^ђ ё^кори'ꙁна крњпости е^го. тогоy покры'етъ ѓ%блакъ, и^ дщери е^го въ плњненїе эTведђтся.

And I will execute judgment on Egypt; and they shall know that I am the Lord.

¹⁹

и^ сътворю сDђ въ е^гљ=птᲇ, и^ раꙁђмњ'ютъ ја^ко а^ꙁᲆ е^смь г~ь”

²⁰

And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

И$ бы'сть въ е^ді'нона'десяте лњто, въ прьвыи мsцᲆ, сеDмыи дн~ь мsца. бысть сло'во гн~е ко мнњ` гл~я,

²¹

Son of man, I have broken the arms of Pharao, king of Egypt; and, behold, it has not been bound up to be healed, to have a plaster put upon it, or to be strengthened to lay hold of the sword.

²¹

сн~е чл~чь, мышцы фараѓ'на цр~я е^гљ=пеTска сътрохъ, и^ с^е не связася ја^ко да'ти е^мђ цњ'лбђ, приложити е^мђ ё^тњшенїе, ја%ко свяꙁа'ти и^ ё^крњпити, и^ꙁя'ти ме'чь”

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against Pharao king of Egypt, and I will break his strong and outstretched arms, and will smite down his sword out of his hand.

Того ради с^е гл~етъ а^дона'и г~ь, с^е аZ на фараѓ'на цр~я е^гљ=пет#ска, и^ съкрђшђ мы'шцы е^го крњпцњи` и^ протяженњи и^ сътренњи, і^ и^зражђ ме'чь еh и^ꙁ рђки е^го.

And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations, and will utterly scatter them among the countries.

и^ рас#сњю е^гљ=пта въ странах, и^ раꙁвњю е& въ ꙁемляхъ.

²⁴

And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword into his hand: and he shall bring it upon Egypt, and shall take her plunder and seize her spoils.

²⁴

и^ ё^крњплю мыjци цр~я вављ=ло'н#ска” и^ дамъ ме'чь свои в рђкђ е^го. и^ наведетъ и& на е^гљ=пта, и^ плᲇнитъ плᲇненїе е^го, и^ по'иметъ плњнъ е^го.

Yea, I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharao shall fail: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have put my sword into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out over the land of Egypt.

²⁵

и^ ё^крњплю мы'шца цр~я вављ=лон#ска и^ мы'ш#цы фараѓ'ни раслабᲇеᲄа. и^ ё^вњдят# ја^ко а^ꙁъ е^смь г~ь. е^гда` да'м# ме'чь мо'и в рђцњ цр~я вављ=лон#ска, и^ простреᲄъ и& на е^гљ=пта.

And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations, and utterly scatter them among the countries; and they all shall know that I am the Lord.

²⁶

и^ рас#сњ'ю е^гљ=пта въ странахъ, и^ развњю и& въ земляхъ. и^ ё^вњ'дятъ вс^и ја%ко аꙁъ е^смь г~ь”
