Hear these things, ye priests; and attend, O house of Israel; and hearken, O house of the king; for the controversy is with you, because ye have been a snare in Scopia, and as a net spread on Itabyrium,

which they that hunt the prey have fixed: but I will correct you.

ловя'щїи сњти поток#ше. а^з же каза'тель вамъ,

I know Ephraim, and Israel is not far from me: for now Ephraim has gone grievously a-whoring, Israel is defiled.

а^зъ ё^вњдњхъ е^фрема, и^ і^и~ль не эTстђпи эT мене. зане нн~њ съблђди е^фрем#, и^ ѓ^сквернися і^и^л~ь.

They have not framed their counsels to return to their God, for the spirit of fornication is in them, and they have not known the Lord.

не положи'ша мышленїи свои^хъ възврати'тися къ б~ђ свое^мђ, ја%ко дх~ъ блђженїя е^сть в нихъ, и^ г~а не ёвњдњша”

And the pride of Israel shall be brought low before his face; and Israel and Ephraim shall fall in their iniquities; and Judas also shall fall with them.

И$ смириTся ё^кори'зна і^и^л~я в# лице е^мђ. і^ил~ь и^ е^фрMњ эTнемо'жетася в# непра'вдаX своиX, и^ эTнемо'жеTся і^ и^ё'да с ни'ми”

They shall go with sheep and calves diligently to seek the Lord; but they shall not find him, for he has withdrawn himself from them.

Съ ѓ%вцами и^ с теlцы пои^дђтъ възыска'ти г~а, и^ не ѓ^бря'щђтᲆ е^го, ё^клони бо ся эT ниX.

For they have forsaken the Lord; for strange children have been born to them: now shall the cankerworm devour them and their heritages.

ја^ко г~а ѓ^ста'виша, ја^ко ча'да чюжDа породи'ша себњ. нн~њ поја^дятъ я& си'плеве и^ прича'стїя и^хᲆ”

Blow ye the trumpet on the hills, sound aloud on the heights: proclaim in the house of On, Benjamin is amazed.

Въстрђби'те въстрђбите на хол#мњх#, въз#гласи'те на высокихъ, проповедите въ домђ ѓ%н#новњ. ё^жасеся венїаминъ,

Ephraim has come to nought in the days of reproof: in the tribes of Israel I have shown faithful dealings.

е^фрњмъ в# пагђбђ бы'сть въ дн~и накаꙁа'нїя, въ пле'менехъ і^и^л~евахъ ё^каꙁа'хъ вњрная.

The princes of Juda became as they that removed the bounds: I will pour out upon them my fury as water.

бы'ша кня'ѕи і^ёдины ја%ко прелага'ющеи ме'жда, на ня раꙁлњю ја^ко во'дђ гнњвъ свои”

Ephraim altogether prevailed against his adversary, he trod judgment under foot, for he began to go after vanities.

Съдолњ же е^фрњмъ съпе'рника свое^го попра сђдъ ја%ко начатъ ходити въ слњдъ сђихъ.

Therefore I will be as consternation to Ephraim, and as a goad to the house of Juda.

а%з же ја%ко мятежᲆ е^фрњмови, и^ ја%ко ѓ^сте'нь до'мђ і^ё'динђ.

And Ephraim saw his disease, and Judas his pain; then Ephraim went to the Assyrians, and sent ambassadors to king Jarim: but he could not heal you, and your pain shall in nowise cease from you.

и^ вњсть е^фрњмᲆ ја%звђ свою, і^ и^ё'да бо'лњзнь свою. і^ и^де е^фрњмъ къ а^сљ=рїемъ, и^ пђсти послы` къ цр~ю и^а^ривђ, и^ то'и не мо'же и^ꙁба'вити ва'съ, и^ не преста'нетъ эT ваs бо'лњзнь”

Wherefore I am as a panther to Ephraim, and as a lion to the house of Juda: and I will tear, and go away; and I will take, and there shall be none to deliver.

Зане а^зъ е^смь ја%ко паньџи'рь е^фрњмови, и^ ја%ко ле'въ до'мђ і^ё'динђ. и^ а'ꙁъ въсхищђ і^ и^дђ, и^ возмђ, и^ не бђдеT комђ эTја%ти”

I will go and return to my place, until they are brought to nought, and then shall they seek my face. In their affliction they will seek me early, saying,

И$дђ и^ въз#вращђся на мњсто свое и^ почїю, до'ндеже поги'бнђтъ и^ ѓ^братя'тся и^ възы'щTђ лица мое^го”
