And it came to pass in the fourth year of Sedekias king of Juda, in the fifth month, that Ananias the false prophet, the son of Azor, from Gabaon, spoke to me in the house of the Lord, in the sight of the priests and all the people, saying,

Сло'во бы'вшее къ і^еремїи эT г~а, въ дн~и і^ѓ^а'кима сн~а і^ѓ^сїина цр~я і^ё'дина, гл~я”

Thus saith the Lord; I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.

И$ди въ до'мъ раха'винъ и^ въꙁови я&, и^ ведї я& въ до'мъ гн~ь въ е^ді'нъ эT дво'ровъ, и^ напои'ши я& виномъ.

³

Yet two full years, and I will return into this place the vessels of the house of the Lord,

и^ приведо'хъ е^зонїю сн~а і^еремїина, сн~а хавасїина и^ бра'тїю е^го, и^ сн~ы е^го, и ве'сь дом# раха'винъ.

and Jechonias, and the captivity of Juda: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

и^ въведохъ я& въ до'мъ гн~ь, въ хра'мъ и^мњнїя сн~овъ а^нанїинъ, сн~а годо'лїина чл~ка бж~їя. и^же е^сть близᲆ до'мђ кня'жа, вы'ше до'мђ маа^сеѓ'ва, сн~а сеело'мля стрегђщаго дво'ръ.

Then Jeremias spoke to Ananias in the sight of all the people, and in the sight of the priests that stood in the house of the Lord,

и^ поста'вихъ преD ни'ми кор#чагъ вина и^ ча'ша, и^ рекохъ пїите”

⁶

and Jeremias said, May the Lord indeed do thus; may he confirm thy word which thou dost prophesy, to return the vessels of the house of the Lord, and all the captivity, out of Babylon to this place.

И$ реко'ша не пїемъ вина, ја%ко і^ѓ^надавъ сн~ъ рах'авль эTц~ъ наj ꙁаповњ'да намъ рекїи. не пїите вина` в^ы, и^ сн~ове ва'ши до' вњка.

Nevertheless hear ye the word of the Lord which I speak in your ears, and in the ears of all the people.

⁷

и^ храминъ не съградите`, и^ сњмене не сᲇите, и^ виногра'дᲆ да не бђдетъ ваM. н^о въ кђщахъ да живете вс^я дн~и живота` ва'шего. да живете дн~и мно'ги на' ꙁемли, на неиже ходи'те в^ы”

The prophets that were before me and before you of old, also prophesied over much country, and against great kingdoms, concerning war.

и^ послђшахомъ словесе і^ѓ^нада'вля эTц~а на'шего. ја%коже не пи'ти вина вся` дн~и живота на'шего, м^ы и^ же'ны на'ша, и^ сн~ове на'ши, и^ дще'ри на'ша.

As for the prophet that has prophesied for peace, when the word has come to pass, they shall know the prophet whom the Lord has sent them in truth.

ја%коже не съгражDати храминъ жи'ти та'мо. винограда же и^ нивы и^ сњмене не бы'сть на'мъ,

Then Ananias took the yokes from the neck of Jeremias in the sight of all the people, and broke them to pieces.

¹⁰

и^ жихомъ въ кђщахъ. и^ послђша'хоM и^ сътворихомъ по всемђ е^ли'ко ꙁаповњда на'мъ і^ѓ^а^нада'въ эTц~ъ на'шᲆ.

¹¹

And Ananias spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus said the Lord; Thus will I break the yoke of the king of Babylon from the necks of all the nations. And Jeremias went his way.

И$ быs е^гда` прїиде навходоносо'ръ цр~ь вављ=лоньскїи на' ꙁемлю на'шђ, и^ рекохомъ, в#шеDше да вни'демъ въ і^ерsлиM эT лица` халдњ'иска, и^ эT лица си'лы сљ=р#ски, и^ всели'хомся т^ђ”

And the word of the Lord came to Jeremias, after that Ananias had broken the yokes off his neck, saying,

И$ бы'сᲄь сло'во гн~е къ і^еремїи гл~я.

¹³

Go and speak to Ananias, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but I will make instead of them yokes of iron.

¹³

та'ко гл~еT г~ь, и^ди` и^ рцы чл~кђ і^ё'динђ, и^ живђщимъ въ і^ерsли'мњ. е^да` не воспрїмете л^и наказа'нїа послђшати слове'съ мои^хъ.

For thus said the Lord, I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all the nations, that they may serve the king of Babylon.

¹⁴

ё^ста'виша сло'во сн~ве і^ѓ^а^нада'вли сн~а рахаvля, е^же заповњда сн~омъ свои^мъ, ја%коже не пи'ти вина` и^ не пи'ша. а%ꙁ же гл~ахъ к# ва'м# ꙁаё%тра и^ вечеръ, и^ не послђшаста мене.

And Jeremias said to Ananias, The Lord has not sent thee; and thou hast caused this people to trust in unrighteousness.

¹⁵

и^ посылахъ к ваM рабы` своя` прoрки, гл~я” ѓбрати'теся ко'ждо эT пђти` свое^го ꙁла'го, и^ ё%н#ша сътвори'те дњ'ла своя, и^ не ходи'те въ слDњ бо'говъ и%нњхъ ја%ко слђжи'ти и^мъ. и^ вселю васъ на' ꙁемлю ю^же да'хъ ва'мъ и^ эTц~емъ ва'шимъ, и^ не приклони'сте ё^шїю свое'ю и^ не послђша'сте”

Therefore thus said the Lord: Behold, I will cast thee off from the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die.

¹⁶

И$ ё^ста'виша сн~ове і^ѓ^а^нада'вли сн~а раха'вля за'повњдь эTц~а свое^го, е^же ꙁаповњ'да и^мъ. а^ лю'дїе мои` не послђшаша мене`.

So he died in the seventh month.

Сего ра'ди си'це рече г~ь. се а^ꙁъ наведђ на і^ё^дђ, и^ на вся` живђщаа въ і^ерsли'мᲇ вс^е зло`, е^же съгл~ах# на' ня. того раd и^же гл~ахъ к ниM, и не послђша'ша. възыва'хᲆ я&, и^ не эTвњща'ша м^и.
