And the Lord spoke to Joshua, saying,

И$ рече г~ь къ і^сђсђ гл~я,

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Assign the cities of refuge, of which I spoke to you by Moses.

гл~и сн~омъ і^и^л~евымъ рекїи. дади'те гра'ды ё^бњже'нїя ја%же реко'хъ къ вамъ мољ=сиѓ^мъ”

Even a refuge to the slayer who has smitten a man unintentionally; and the cities shall be to you a refuge, and the slayer shall not be put to death by the avenger of blood, until he have stood before the congregation for judgment.

да ё^бежи'тъ та'мо ё^би'вшїи дш~ђ не вњ'дя, и^ да бђдђтъ вамъ гра'ди ё^бњжища. и^ да не ё%мретъ ё^бїица эT възыска'ю^щаго кро'ве, до'ндеже поста'витъ пред# со'нмомъ на сђдњ”

And Joshua separated Cades in Galilee in the mount Nephthali, and Sychem in the mount Ephraim, and the city of Arboc; this is Chebron, in the mountain of Juda.

И$ а'ще кт^о въбњгнетъ въ е^ді'нъ граD сихъ, и^ да ста'нетъ въ вра'тњхъ гра'да е^го і^ и^сповњсть въ ё'ши ста'рцеM гра'да того` словеса` своя, и^ прїимђтъ е^го въ гра'дъ къ себњ`, и^ дадя'тъ е^мђ мњсто жити с ни'ми”

And beyond Jordan he appointed Bosor in the wilderness in the plain out of the tribe of Ruben, and Aremoth in Galaad out of the tribe of Gad, and Gaulon in the country of Basan out of the tribe of Manasse.

И$ ја^ко прибњже въ слњдъ възыска'я кро'ве е^го. да не дадђтъ ё^би'вшаго въ рђцњ е^го ја^ко невњдыи ё^бивъ бли'жняго е^го, и^ не ненави'дяи е^го эT вчера` и^ третїаго дн~и”

These were the cities selected for the sons of Israel, and for the stranger abiding among them, that every one who smites a soul unintentionally should flee thither, that he should not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he should stand before the congregation for judgment.

и^ да всели'тся въ то'и граD до'н#деже ста'нетъ преD лице'мъ сонмища на сђдњ. и^л^и до'ндеже ё%мретъ жреw вели'кїи, и^же бђдетъ въ ты'и дн~и. тогда` да ся ѓ^брати'тъ ё^бїица, и^ прїидетъ въ граD свои и^ въ до'м# свой и^ въ граD эTню'дђже е^сть и^збњглъ таM эT ё^жики кро'ве”
