Хвалі́те і́м'я Госпо́днє, хвалі́те, раби́ Го́спода,

Praise ye the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises to his name; for it is good.

стоя́щії во хра́мі Госпо́дні, во дво́ріх до́му Бо́га на́шего.

For the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

Хвалі́те Го́спода, я́ко благ Госпо́дь; по́йте і́мені Єго́, я́ко добро́;

For I know that the Lord is great, and our Lord is above all gods;

я́ко Іа́кова ізбра́ Себі́ Госпо́дь, Ізра́їля в достоя́ніє Себі́;

all that the Lord willed, he did in heaven, and on the earth, in the sea, and in all deeps.

я́ко аз позна́х, я́ко ве́лій Госпо́дь, і Госпо́дь наш над всі́ми бо́ги;

Who brings up clouds from the extremity of the earth: he has made lightnings for the rain: he brings winds out of his treasures.

вся, єли́ка восхоті́ Госпо́дь, сотвори́ на небесі́ і на землі́, в моря́х і во всіх бе́зднах.

Who smote the first-born of Egypt, both of man and beast.

Возводя́ о́блаки от послі́дніх землі́, мо́лнії в дождь сотвори́, ізводя́й ві́три от сокро́вищ Свої́х.

He sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, on Pharao, and on all his servants.

І́же порази́ пе́рвенці єги́петськия от челові́ка до скота́;

Who smote many nations, and slew mighty kings;

посла́ зна́менія і чудеса́ посреді́ тебе́, Єги́пте, на фарао́на і на вся раби́ єго́.

Seon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Basan, and all the kingdoms of Chanaan:

І́же порази́ язи́ки мно́гі і ізби́ царі́ крі́пкі;

and gave their land for an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.

¹¹

Сіо́на, царя́ Аморре́йська, і О́га, царя́ Васа́нська, і вся ца́рствія Ханаа́нська;

O Lord, thy name endures for ever, and thy memorial to all generations.

і даде́ зе́млю їх достоя́ніє, достоя́ніє Ізра́їлю лю́дем Свої́м.

For the Lord shall judge his people, and comfort himself concerning his servants.

Го́споди, і́м'я Твоє́ в вік, і па́м'ять Твоя́ в род і род;

The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the works of men's hands.

я́ко суди́ти і́мать Госпо́дь лю́дем Свої́м, і о рабі́х Свої́х умо́литься.

They have a mouth, but they cannot speak; they have eyes, but they cannot see;

¹⁵

І́доли язи́к — сребро́ і зла́то, діла́ рук челові́чеських;

¹⁷

they have ears, but they cannot hear; for there is no breath in their mouth.

¹⁶

уста́ і́муть і не возглаго́лють; о́чі і́муть і не у́зрять;

¹⁸

Let those who make them be made like to them; and all those who trust in them.

¹⁷

у́ші і́муть і не усли́шать; ніже́ бо єсть дух во усті́х їх.

O house of Israel, bless ye the Lord: O house of Aaron, bless ye the Lord:

Подо́бні їм да бу́дуть творя́щії я і всі наді́ющіїся на ня.

O house of Levi, bless ye the Lord: ye that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.

До́ме Ізра́їлев, благослові́те Го́спода; до́ме Ааро́нь, благослові́те Го́спода; до́ме Леві́їн, благослові́те Го́спода;

Blessed in Sion be the Lord, who dwells in Jerusalem.
