Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; and let the children of Sion exult in their king.

Воспо́йте Го́сподеві піснь но́ву; хвале́ніє Єго́ в це́ркві преподо́бних.

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises to him with timbrel and psaltery.

Да возвесели́ться Ізра́їль о сотво́ршем Єго́, і си́нове Сіо́ні возра́дуються о Царі́ своє́м.

For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; and will exalt the meek with salvation.

Да восхва́лять і́м'я Єго́ в ли́ці, в тимпа́ні і псалти́рі да пою́ть Єму́.

The saints shall rejoice in glory; and shall exult on their beds.

⁴

Я́ко благоволи́ть Госпо́дь в лю́дех Свої́х, і вознесе́ть кро́ткия во спасе́ніє.

The high praises of God shall be in their throat, and two-edged swords in their hands;

Восхва́ляться преподо́бнії во сла́ві і возра́дуються на ло́жах свої́х.

to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments among the peoples;

⁶

Возноше́нія Бо́жия в горта́ні їх, і мечі́ обою́ду остри́ в рука́х їх;

⁸

to bind their kings with fetters, and their nobles with manacles of iron;

⁷

сотвори́ти отмще́ніє во язи́ціх, обличе́нія в лю́дех;

⁹

to execute on them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints.

⁸

св'яза́ти царі́ їх пу́ти, і сла́вния їх ручни́ми око́ви желі́зними;
