Глава́ д҃	Chapter 4

1	1
(Заⷱ҇ р҃л҃.) Та́кѡ на́съ да непщꙋ́етъ человѣ́къ, ꙗ҆́кѡ слꙋ́гъ хрⷭ҇то́выхъ и҆ строи́телей та̑инъ бж҃їихъ:	Let a man so account of us, as of ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

а҆ є҆́же про́чее и҆́щетсѧ въ строи́телехъ, да вѣ́ренъ кто̀ ѡ҆брѧ́щетсѧ.	And moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

Мнѣ́ же не вели́ко є҆́сть, да ѿ ва́съ и҆стѧжꙋ́сѧ, и҆лѝ ѿ человѣ́ческагѡ днѐ [сꙋда̀]: но ни са́мъ себѐ востѧзꙋ́ю.	But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.

Ничесѡ́же бо въ себѣ̀ свѣ́мъ, но ни ѡ҆ се́мъ ѡ҆правда́юсѧ: востѧзꙋ́ѧй же мѧ̀ гдⷭ҇ь є҆́сть.	For I know nothing against myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

(Заⷱ҇.) Тѣ́мже пре́жде вре́мене ничто́же сꙋди́те, до́ндеже прїи́детъ гдⷭ҇ь, и҆́же во свѣ́тѣ приведе́тъ та̑йнаѧ тмы̀ и҆ ѡ҆б̾ѧви́тъ совѣ́ты сердє́чныѧ, и҆ тогда̀ похвала̀ бꙋ́детъ комꙋ́ждо ѿ бг҃а.	Wherefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall each man have his praise from God.

Сїѧ̑ же, бра́тїе (моѧ̑), преѡбрази́хъ на себѐ и҆ а҆поллѡ́са ва́съ ра́ди, да ѿ на́ю наꙋчите́сѧ не па́че напи́санныхъ мꙋ́дрствовати, да не є҆ди́нъ по є҆ди́номꙋ гордите́сѧ на дрꙋга́го.	Now these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes; that in us ye might learn not to think beyond that which is written; that no one of you be puffed up for the one against the other.

Кто́ бо тѧ̀ разсꙋжда́етъ; Что́ же и҆́маши, є҆гѡ́же нѣ́си прїѧ́лъ; А҆́ще же и҆ прїѧ́лъ є҆сѝ, что̀ хва́лишисѧ ꙗ҆́кѡ не прїе́мъ;	For who maketh thee to differ? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? but if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory as if thou hadst not received it?

Сѐ, сы́ти є҆стѐ, сѐ, ѡ҆богати́стесѧ, без̾ на́съ воцари́стесѧ: и҆ ѽ, дабы̀ воцари́лисѧ є҆стѐ, да и҆ мы̀ бы́хомъ съ ва́ми ца́рствовали.	Already are ye filled, already ye are become rich, ye have come to reign without us: yea and I would that ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.

(Заⷱ҇ р҃л҃а҃.) Мню́ бо, ꙗ҆́кѡ бг҃ъ ны̀ посла́нники послѣ́днїѧ ꙗ҆вѝ, ꙗ҆́кѡ насме́ртники: занѐ позо́ръ бы́хомъ мі́рꙋ и҆ а҆́гг҃лѡмъ и҆ человѣ́кѡмъ.	For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last of all, as men doomed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, both to angels and men.

Мы̀ (оу҆́бѡ) бꙋ́и хрⷭ҇та̀ ра́ди, вы́ же мꙋ́дри ѡ҆ хрⷭ҇тѣ̀: мы̀ не́мощни, вы́ же крѣ́пцы: вы̀ сла́вни, мы́ же безче́стни.	We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye have glory, but we have dishonor.

До нн҃ѣшнѧгѡ часа̀ и҆ а҆́лчемъ, и҆ жа́ждемъ, и҆ наготꙋ́емъ, и҆ стра́ждемъ, и҆ скита́емсѧ,	Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place;

и҆ трꙋжда́емсѧ, дѣ́лающе свои́ми рꙋка́ми. Оу҆корѧ́еми, благословлѧ́емъ: гони́ми, терпи́мъ:	and we toil, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure;
13	13
хꙋ́лими, оу҆тѣша́емсѧ [мо́лимъ]: ꙗ҆́коже ѡ҆тре́би мі́рꙋ бы́хомъ, всѣ̑мъ попра́нїе досе́лѣ.	being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things, even until now.

Не срамлѧ́ѧ ва́съ сїѧ̑ пишꙋ̀, но ꙗ҆́коже ча̑да моѧ̑ возлю́блєннаѧ наказꙋ́ю.	I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I admonish you.
15	15
А҆́ще бо (и҆) мнѡ́ги пѣ́стꙋны и҆́мате ѡ҆ хрⷭ҇тѣ̀, но не мнѡ́ги ѻ҆тцы̀: ѡ҆ хрⷭ҇тѣ́ бо і҆и҃сѣ бл҃говѣствова́нїемъ а҆́зъ вы̀ роди́хъ.	For though ye have ten thousand tutors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I begat you through the gospel.

Молю́ же ва́съ: подо́бни мнѣ̀ быва́йте, ꙗ҆́коже а҆́зъ хрⷭ҇тꙋ̀.	I beseech you therefore, be ye imitators of me.
17	17
(Заⷱ҇ р҃л҃в҃.) Сегѡ̀ ра́ди посла́хъ къ ва́мъ тїмоѳе́а, и҆́же мѝ є҆́сть ча́до возлю́блено и҆ вѣ́рно ѡ҆ гдⷭ҇ѣ, и҆́же ва́мъ воспомѧ́нетъ пꙋти̑ моѧ̑, ꙗ҆̀же ѡ҆ хрⷭ҇тѣ̀ і҆и҃сѣ, ꙗ҆́коже вездѣ̀ и҆ во всѧ́цѣй цр҃кви оу҆чꙋ̀.	For this cause have I sent unto you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who shall put you in remembrance of my ways which are in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in every church.
18	18
Ꙗ҆́кѡ не грѧдꙋ́щꙋ мѝ къ ва́мъ, разгордѣ́шасѧ нѣ́цыи:	Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.
19	19
прїидꙋ́ же ско́рѡ къ ва́мъ, а҆́ще гдⷭ҇ь восхо́щетъ, и҆ оу҆разꙋмѣ́ю не сло́во разгордѣ́вшихсѧ, но си́лꙋ:	But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will; and I will know, not the word of them that are puffed up, but the power.
20	20
не въ словеси́ бо црⷭ҇тво бж҃їе, но въ си́лѣ.	For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
21	21
Что̀ хо́щете; съ па́лицею ли прїидꙋ̀ къ ва́мъ, и҆лѝ съ любо́вїю и҆ дꙋ́хомъ кро́тости;	What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?
