Въ лѣ́то два́десѧть тре́тїе і҆ѡа́са сы́на ѻ҆хозі́ина царѧ̀ і҆ꙋ́дина ца́рствова і҆ѡаха́зъ сы́нъ і҆иꙋ́евъ над̾ і҆и҃лемъ въ самарі́и седмьна́десѧть лѣ́тъ,	In the twenty-third year of Joas son of Ochozias king of Juda began Joachaz the son of Ju to reign in Samaria, and he reigned seventeen years.

и҆ сотворѝ лꙋка́вое пред̾ ѻ҆чи́ма гдⷭ҇нима, и҆ и҆́де в̾слѣ́дъ грѣхѡ́въ і҆еровоа́ма сы́на нава́това, и҆́же въ грѣ́хъ введѐ і҆и҃лѧ и҆ не ѡ҆ста́сѧ ѕло́бы тоѧ̀.	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and walked after the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, who led Israel to sin; he departed not from them.

И҆ разгнѣ́васѧ гдⷭ҇ь гнѣ́вомъ на і҆и҃лѧ, и҆ вдадѐ и҆̀хъ въ рꙋ́цѣ а҆заи́лꙋ царю̀ сѵ́рскꙋ и҆ въ рꙋ́цѣ сы́на а҆де́ра, сы́на а҆заи́лева, во всѧ̑ дни̑.	And the Lord was very angry with Israel, and delivered them into the hand of Azael king of Syria, and into the hand of the son of Ader son of Azael, all their days.

И҆ помоли́сѧ і҆ѡаха́зъ лицꙋ̀ гдⷭ҇ню, и҆ оу҆слы́ша є҆го̀ гдⷭ҇ь, ꙗ҆́кѡ ви́дѣ ско́рбь і҆и҃левꙋ, поне́же ѡ҆скорбѝ и҆̀хъ ца́рь сѵ́рскїй.	And Joachaz besought the Lord, and the Lord hearkened to him, for he saw the affliction of Israel, because the king of Syria afflicted them.

И҆ дадѐ гдⷭ҇ь спⷭ҇нїе і҆и҃лю, и҆ и҆збы́ша ѿ рꙋкꙋ̀ сѵ́рскꙋ: и҆ всели́шасѧ и҆ сы́нове і҆и҃лєвы въ селє́нїѧ своѧ̑ ꙗ҆́коже и҆ вчера̀ и҆ тре́тїѧгѡ днѐ:	And the Lord gave deliverance to Israel, and they escaped from under the hand of Syria: and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents as heretofore.

ѻ҆ба́че не ѿстꙋпи́ша ѿ грѣхѡ́въ до́мꙋ і҆еровоа́ма сы́на нава́това, и҆́же и҆ въ грѣ́хъ введѐ і҆и҃лѧ, въ не́мъ ходѧ́хꙋ: и҆ дꙋбра́ва стоѧ́ше въ самарі́и.	Only they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who led Israel to sin: they walked in them—moreover the grove also remained in Samaria.

ꙗ҆́кѡ не ѡ҆ста́шасѧ і҆ѡаха́зꙋ лю́дїе, но то́кмѡ пѧтьдесѧ́тъ кѡ́нникъ, и҆ де́сѧть колесни́цъ, и҆ де́сѧть ты́сѧщъ пѣшцє́въ, ꙗ҆́кѡ и҆згꙋби́лъ и҆̀хъ ца́рь сѵ́рскїй, и҆ положѝ ѧ҆̀ ꙗ҆́кѡ пра́хъ на попра́нїе.	Whereas there was not left any army to Joachaz, except fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand infantry: for the king of Syria had destroyed them, and they made them as dust for trampling.

И҆ прѡ́чаѧ слове́съ і҆ѡаха́зовыхъ, и҆ всѧ̑ є҆ли̑ка сотворѝ, и҆ си̑лы є҆гѡ̀, не сїѧ̑ ли пи̑сана въ кни́зѣ слове́съ дні́й царе́й і҆и҃левыхъ;	And the rest of the acts of Joachaz, and all that he did, and his mighty acts are not these things written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

И҆ оу҆́спе і҆ѡаха́зъ со ѻ҆тцы̑ свои́ми, и҆ погребо́ша є҆го̀ въ самарі́и: и҆ воцари́сѧ і҆ѡа́съ сы́нъ є҆гѡ̀ вмѣ́стѡ є҆гѡ̀.	And Joachaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in Samaria: and Joas his son reigned in his stead.
10	10
Въ лѣ́то три́десѧть седмо́е і҆ѡа́са царѧ̀ і҆ꙋ́дина ца́рствова і҆ѡа́съ сы́нъ і҆ѡаха́зовъ над̾ і҆и҃лемъ въ самарі́и шестьна́десѧть лѣ́тъ,	In the thirty-seventh year of Joas king of Juda, Joas the son of Joachaz began to reign over Israel in Samaria sixteen years.

и҆ сотворѝ лꙋка́вое пред̾ ѻ҆чи́ма гдⷭ҇нима: и҆ ѿстꙋпѝ ѿ всѣ́хъ грѣхѡ́въ і҆еровоа́ма сы́на нава́това, и҆́же въ грѣ́хъ введѐ і҆и҃лѧ, въ то́мъ хожда́ше.	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord; he departed not from all the sin of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, who led Israel to sin: he walked in it.
12	12
И҆ прѡ́чаѧ слове́съ і҆ѡа́совыхъ и҆ всѧ̑ є҆ли̑ка сотворѝ, и҆ си̑лы є҆гѡ̀, ꙗ҆̀же сотворѝ со а҆мессі́емъ царе́мъ і҆ꙋ́динымъ, не сїѧ̑ ли пи̑сана въ кни́зѣ слове́съ дні́й царе́й і҆и҃левыхъ;	And the rest of the acts of Joas, and all that he did, and his mighty acts which he performed together with Amessias king of Juda, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

И҆ оу҆́спе і҆ѡа́съ со ѻ҆тцы̑ свои́ми, і҆еровоа́мъ же сѣ́де на престо́лѣ є҆гѡ̀: и҆ погребе́нъ бы́сть і҆ѡа́съ въ самарі́и съ цармѝ і҆и҃левыми.	And Joas slept with his fathers, and Jeroboam sat upon his throne, and he was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.

И҆ є҆лїссе́й разболѣ́сѧ болѣ́знїю свое́ю, ѿ неѧ́же оу҆́мре. И҆ прїи́де къ немꙋ̀ і҆ѡа́съ ца́рь і҆и҃левъ, и҆ пла́касѧ над̾ лице́мъ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ речѐ: ѻ҆́тче, ѻ҆́тче, колесни́ца і҆и҃лева и҆ ко́ни є҆гѡ̀.	Now Elisaie was sick of his sickness, whereof he died: and Joas king of Israel went down to him, and wept over his face, and said, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horseman thereof!

И҆ речѐ є҆мꙋ̀ є҆лїссе́й возмѝ лꙋ́къ и҆ стрѣ́лы. И҆ взѧ̀ къ себѣ̀ лꙋ́къ и҆ стрѣ́лы.	And Elisaie said to him, Take bow and arrows. And he took to himself a bow and arrows.
16	16
И҆ речѐ царю̀: возложѝ рꙋ́кꙋ свою̀ на лꙋ́къ. И҆ возложѝ і҆ѡа́съ рꙋ́кꙋ свою̀ на лꙋ́къ, и҆ є҆лїссе́й возложѝ рꙋ́ки своѧ̑ на рꙋ́ки царє́вы,	And he said to the king, Put thy hand on the bow. And Joas put his hand upon it: and Elisaie put his hands upon the king's hands.
17	17
и҆ речѐ: ѿве́рзи ѻ҆кно̀ є҆́же на восто́къ. И҆ ѿве́рзе. И҆ речѐ є҆лїссе́й: стрѣлѝ. И҆ стрѣлѝ (ца́рь). И҆ речѐ є҆лїссе́й: стрѣла̀ спⷭ҇нїѧ гдⷭ҇нѧ и҆ стрѣла̀ спасе́нїѧ на сѷрі́ю, и҆ побѣди́ши сѷрі́ю во а҆фе́кѣ да́же до сконча́нїѧ.	And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. And Elisaie said, Shoot. And he shot. And Elisaie said, The arrow of the Lord's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; and thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphec until thou have consumed them.

И҆ речѐ є҆мꙋ̀ є҆лїссе́й: возмѝ лꙋ́къ. И҆ взѧ̀. И҆ речѐ царю̀ і҆и҃левꙋ: оу҆да́ри на зе́млю. И҆ оу҆да́ри ца́рь три́жды, и҆ ста̀.	And Elisaie said to him, Take bow and arrows. And he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And the king smote three times, and stayed.
19	19
И҆ ѡ҆скорбѣ̀ человѣ́къ бж҃їй ѡ҆ не́мъ и҆ речѐ: а҆́ще бы оу҆да́рилъ є҆сѝ пѧти́щи и҆лѝ шести́щи, тогда́ бы є҆сѝ порази́лъ сѷрі́ю до сконча́нїѧ, нн҃ѣ же побѣди́ши сѷрі́ю три́жды.	And the man of God was grieved at him, and said, If thou hadst smitten five or six times, then thou shouldest have smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed them; but now thou shalt smite Syria only thrice.
20	20
И҆ оу҆́мре є҆лїссе́й, и҆ погребо́ша є҆го̀. Во́ини же мѡа́вли прїидо́ша въ зе́млю настава́ющꙋ лѣ́тꙋ томꙋ̀.	And Elisaie died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites came into the land, at the beginning of the year.
21	21
И҆ бы́сть и҆̀мъ погреба́ющимъ мꙋ́жа, и҆ сѐ, ви́дѣша во́инѡвъ, и҆ поверго́ша мꙋ́жа во гро́бѣ є҆лїссе́овѣ: (и҆ впадѐ тѣ́ло человѣ́ка ме́ртва,) и҆ прикоснꙋ́сѧ косте́мъ є҆лїссе́ѡвымъ, и҆ ѡ҆живѐ и҆ воста̀ на но́ги своѧ̑.	And it came to pass as they were burying a man, that behold, they saw a band of men, and they cast the man into the grave of Elisaie: and as soon as he touched the bones of Elisaie, he revived and stood up on his feet.
22	22
А҆заи́лъ же ѡ҆скорблѧ́ше і҆и҃лѧ во всѧ̑ дни̑ і҆ѡаха́зѡвы.	And Azael greatly afflicted Israel all the days of Joachaz.
23	23
И҆ поми́лова и҆ гдⷭ҇ь, и҆ оу҆ще́дри ѧ҆̀, и҆ призрѣ̀ на нѧ̀ завѣ́та ра́ди своегѡ̀, и҆́же со а҆враа́момъ и҆ і҆саа́комъ и҆ і҆а́кѡвомъ, и҆ не восхотѣ̀ гдⷭ҇ь потреби́ти и҆́хъ, нижѐ ѿве́рже и҆́хъ ѿ лица̀ своегѡ̀.	And the Lord had mercy and compassion upon them, and had respect to them because of his covenant with Abraam, and Isaac, and Jacob; and the Lord would not destroy them, and did not cast them out from his presence.
24	24
И҆ оу҆́мре а҆заи́лъ ца́рь сѵ́рскїй, и҆ воцари́сѧ а҆де́ръ сы́нъ є҆гѡ̀ вмѣ́стѡ є҆гѡ̀.	And Azael king of Syria died, and the son of Ader his son reigned in his stead.
25	25
И҆ возврати́сѧ і҆ѡа́съ сы́нъ і҆ѡаха́зовъ, и҆ взѧ̀ гра́ды ѿ рꙋкѝ а҆де́ра сы́на а҆заи́лева, и҆̀хже взѧ̀ ѿ рꙋкꙋ̀ і҆ѡаха́за ѻ҆тца̀ є҆гѡ̀ въ бра́ни: три́жды побѣдѝ є҆го̀ і҆ѡа́съ, и҆ возвратѝ гра́ды і҆и҃лєвы.	And Joas the son of Joachaz returned, and took the cities out of the hand of the son of Ader the son of Azael, which he had taken out of the hand of Joachaz his father in the war: thrice did Joas smite him, and he recovered the cities of Israel.
