| Во второ́е лѣ́то, при да́рїи царѝ, въ шесты́й мцⷭ҇ъ, въ пе́рвый (де́нь) мцⷭ҇а, бы́сть сло́во гдⷭ҇не рꙋко́ю а҆гге́а прⷪ҇ро́ка гл҃ѧ: рцы̀ къ зорова́велю салаѳїи́левꙋ ѿ колѣ́на і҆ꙋ́дова и҆ ко і҆исꙋ́сꙋ сы́нꙋ і҆ѡседе́ковꙋ, і҆ере́ю вели́комꙋ, глаго́лѧ: | In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came by the hand of the prophet Aggæus, saying, Speak to Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, of the tribe of Juda, and to Jesus the son of Josedec, the high priest, saying, |

| си́це гл҃етъ гдⷭ҇ь вседержи́тель гл҃ѧ: лю́дїе сі́и глаго́лютъ: не прїи́де вре́мѧ созда́ти хра́мъ гдⷭ҇ень. | Thus saith the Lord Almighty, saying, This people say, The time is not come to build the house of the Lord. |

| И҆ бы́сть сло́во гдⷭ҇не рꙋко́ю а҆гге́а прⷪ҇ро́ка гл҃ѧ: | And the word of the Lord came by the hand of the prophet Aggæus, saying, |

|
| а҆́ще вре́мѧ оу҆́бѡ ва́мъ є҆́сть жи́ти въ домѣ́хъ ва́шихъ и҆сте́саныхъ, хра́мъ же мо́й се́й запꙋстѣ̀; | Is it time for you to dwell in your ceiled houses, whereas our house is desolate? |

| И҆ нн҃ѣ си́це гл҃етъ гдⷭ҇ь вседержи́тель: оу҆стро́йте сердца̀ ва̑ша въ пꙋти̑ ва́шѧ. | And now thus saith the Lord Almighty; Consider your ways, I pray you. |

| Сѣ́ѧсте мно́гѡ, и҆ взѧ́сте ма́лѡ: ꙗ҆до́сте, и҆ не въ сы́тость: пи́сте, и҆ не въ пїѧ́нство: ѡ҆блеко́стесѧ, и҆ не согрѣ́стесѧ въ ни́хъ: и҆ собира́ѧй мзды̑ собра̀ во влага́лище дира́во. | Ye have sown much, but brought in little; ye have eaten, and are not satisfied; ye have drunk, and are not satisfied with drink, ye have clothed yourselves, and have not become warm thereby: and he that earns wages has gathered them into a bag full of holes. |

| Си́це гл҃етъ гдⷭ҇ь вседержи́тель: положи́те сердца̀ ва̑ша въ пꙋти̑ ва́шѧ, | Thus saith the Lord Almighty; Consider your ways. |

| взы́дите на го́рꙋ и҆ оу҆сѣцы́те древа̀, и҆ принеси́те и҆ сози́ждите хра́мъ, и҆ бл҃говолю̀ въ не́мъ и҆ просла́влюсѧ, речѐ гдⷭ҇ь. | Go up to the mountain, and cut timber; build the house, and I will take pleasure in it, and be glorified, saith the Lord. |

| Призрѣ́сте на мнѡ́га, и҆ бы́ша ма̑ла, и҆ внесо́сте ѧ҆̀ въ хра́мъ, и҆ ѿдꙋ́нꙋхъ ѧ҆̀: сегѡ̀ ра́ди си́це гл҃етъ гдⷭ҇ь вседержи́тель: занѐ хра́мъ мо́й є҆́сть пꙋ́стъ, вы́ же тече́те кі́йждо въ до́мъ сво́й, | Ye looked for much, and there came little; and it was brought into the house, and I blew it away. Therefore thus saith the Lord Almighty, Because my house is desolate, and ye run every one into his own house; |

| сегѡ̀ ра́ди оу҆держи́тсѧ не́бо ѿ росы̀, и҆ землѧ̀ ѡ҆скꙋди́тъ и҆зношє́нїѧ своѧ̑, | therefore shall the sky withhold dew, and the earth shall keep back her produce. |

| и҆ наведꙋ̀ ме́чь на зе́млю и҆ на го́ры, и҆ на пшени́цꙋ и҆ на вїно̀ и҆ на є҆ле́й, и҆ на всѧ̑, є҆ли̑ка и҆зно́ситъ землѧ̀, и҆ на человѣ́ки и҆ на скоты̀ и҆ на всѧ̑ трꙋды̀ рꙋ́къ и҆́хъ. | And I will bring a sword upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the wine, and upon the oil, and all that the earth produces, and upon the men, and upon the cattle, and upon all the labours of their hands. |

| И҆ слы́ша зорова́вель салаѳїи́левъ ѿ колѣ́на і҆ꙋ́дова, и҆ і҆исꙋ́съ і҆ѡседе́ковъ, і҆ере́й вели́кїй, и҆ всѝ про́чїи лю́дїе гла́съ гдⷭ҇а бг҃а своегѡ̀ и҆ словеса̀ а҆гге́а прⷪ҇ро́ка, ꙗ҆́коже посла̀ є҆го̀ гдⷭ҇ь бг҃ъ и҆́хъ къ ни̑мъ, и҆ оу҆боѧ́шасѧ лю́дїе ѿ лица̀ гдⷭ҇нѧ. | And Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, of the tribe of Juda, and Jesus the son of Josedec, the high priest, and all the remnant of the people, hearkened to the voice of the Lord their God, and the words of the prophet Aggæus, according as the Lord their God had sent him to them, and the people feared before the Lord. |

| И҆ речѐ а҆гге́й вѣ́стникъ гдⷭ҇ень въ вѣ́стницѣхъ гдⷭ҇нихъ лю́демъ, глаго́лѧ: а҆́зъ є҆́смь съ ва́ми, гл҃етъ гдⷭ҇ь. | And Aggæus the Lord's messenger spoke among the messengers of the Lord to the people, saying, I am with you, saith the Lord. |

| И҆ воздви́же гдⷭ҇ь дꙋ́хъ зорова́велѧ салаѳїи́лева ѿ колѣ́на і҆ꙋ́дова и҆ дꙋ́хъ і҆исꙋ́са і҆ѡседе́кова, і҆ере́а вели́кагѡ, и҆ дꙋ́хъ про́чїихъ всѣ́хъ люді́й: и҆ внидо́ша и҆ творѧ́хꙋ дѣла̀ во хра́мѣ гдⷭ҇а вседержи́телѧ бг҃а своегѡ̀. | And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, of the tribe of Juda, and the spirit of Jesus the son of Josedec, the high priest, and the spirit of the remnant of all the people; and they went in, and wrought in the house of the Lord Almighty their God, |
