| И҆ сі́и наслѣ́довавшїи ѿ сынѡ́въ і҆и҃левыхъ въ землѝ ханаа́нстѣй, и҆̀мже раздѣли́ша ю҆̀ въ наслѣ́дїе є҆леаза́ръ жре́цъ и҆ і҆исꙋ́съ сы́нъ наѵи́нъ и҆ кнѧ̑зи ѻ҆те́чествъ племе́нъ сынѡ́въ і҆и҃левыхъ: | And these are they of the children of Israel that received their inheritance in the land of Chanaan, to whom Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Naue, and the heads of the families of the tribes of the children of Israel, gave inheritance. |

| по жре́бїємъ наслѣ́диша, ꙗ҆́коже заповѣ́да гдⷭ҇ь мѡѷсе́омъ да́ти девѧтѝ племенѡ́мъ и҆ полпле́мени (манассі́инꙋ), | They inherited according to their lots, as the Lord commanded by the hand of Joshua to the nine tribes and the half tribe, on the other side of Jordan. |

| даде́ бо мѡѷсе́й наслѣ́дїе двꙋ̀ племенѡ́мъ и҆ полпле́мени манассі́инꙋ ѡ҆б̾ ѻ҆нꙋ̀ странꙋ̀ і҆ѻрда́на: леѵі́тѡмъ же не дадѐ жре́бїѧ въ ни́хъ: | But to the Levites he gave no inheritance among them. |

| зане́же бы́ша сы́нове і҆ѡ́сифѡвы два̀ племена̀, манассі́ино и҆ є҆фре́мле: и҆ не даде́сѧ ча́сти въ землѝ леѵі́тѡмъ, но то́кмѡ гра́ды ѡ҆бита́ти, и҆ предгра̑дїѧ скотѡ́мъ и҆́хъ, и҆ скоты̀ и҆́хъ. | For the sons of Joseph were two tribes, Manasse and Ephraim; and there was none inheritance in the land given to the Levites, only cities to dwell in, and their suburbs separated for the cattle, and their cattle. |

| Ꙗ҆́коже заповѣ́да гдⷭ҇ь мѡѷсе́ю, та́кѡ сотвори́ша сы́нове і҆и҃лєвы и҆ раздѣли́ша зе́млю. | As the Lord commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel; and they divided the land. |

| И҆ прїидо́ша сы́нове і҆ꙋ̑дины ко і҆исꙋ́сꙋ въ галга́лы. И҆ речѐ къ немꙋ̀ хале́въ і҆ефонні́инъ кенезе́й: ты̀ вѣ́си сло́во, є҆́же гл҃а гдⷭ҇ь къ мѡѷсе́ю человѣ́кꙋ бж҃їю ѡ҆ мнѣ̀ и҆ ѡ҆ тебѣ̀ въ ка́дисъ-варнѝ: | And the children of Juda came to Joshua in Galgal, and Chaleb the son of Jephone the Kenezite said to him, Thou knowest the word that the Lord spoke to Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Cades Barne. |

| четы́редесѧти бо лѣ́тъ бѣ́хъ, є҆гда̀ посла́ мѧ мѡѷсе́й ра́бъ гдⷭ҇ень ѿ ка́дисъ-варнѝ соглѧ́дати зе́млю: и҆ ѿвѣща́хъ є҆мꙋ̀ сло́во по се́рдцꙋ є҆гѡ̀: | For I was forty years old when Moses the servant of God sent me out of Cades Barne to spy out the land; and I returned him an answer according to his mind. |

| бра́тїѧ моѧ̑ ходи́вшїи со мно́ю преврати́ша се́рдце люді́й, а҆́зъ же приложи́хсѧ послѣ́довати гдⷭ҇еви бг҃ꙋ моемꙋ̀: | My brethren that went up with me turned away the heart of the people, but I applied myself to follow the Lord my God. |

| и҆ клѧ́тсѧ мѡѷсе́й въ то́й де́нь, глаго́лѧ: землѧ̀, на ню́же возше́лъ є҆сѝ, тебѣ̀ бꙋ́детъ въ жре́бїй и҆ ча́дѡмъ твои̑мъ во вѣ́къ, ꙗ҆́кѡ приложи́лсѧ є҆сѝ послѣ́довати гдⷭ҇ꙋ бг҃ꙋ моемꙋ̀: | And Moses sware on that day, saying, The land on which thou art gone up, it shall be thy inheritance and thy children's for ever, because thou hast applied thyself to follow the Lord our God. |

| и҆ нн҃ѣ препита́ мѧ гдⷭ҇ь, ꙗ҆́коже речѐ, сїѐ четы́редесѧть и҆ пѧ́тое лѣ́то, ѿне́лѣже гл҃а гдⷭ҇ь сло́во сїѐ къ мѡѷсе́ю, и҆ хожда́ше і҆и҃ль въ пꙋсты́ни: и҆ нн҃ѣ сѐ, мѝ дне́сь ѻ҆́смьдесѧтъ и҆ пѧ́ть лѣ́тъ: | And now the Lord has kept me alive as he said: this is the forty-fifth year since the Lord spoke that word to Moses; and Israel journeyed in the wilderness; and now, behold, I am this day eighty-five years old. |

| є҆щѐ є҆́смь дне́сь могі́й, ꙗ҆́коже є҆гда̀ посла́ мѧ мѡѷсе́й: та́кѡ и҆ нн҃ѣ могꙋ̀ входи́ти и҆ и҆сходи́ти на бра́нь: | I am still strong this day, as when the Lord sent me: just so strong am I now to go out and to come in for war. |

| и҆ нн҃ѣ прошꙋ̀ оу҆ тебє̀ горы̀ сеѧ̀, ꙗ҆́коже речѐ гдⷭ҇ь въ де́нь ѡ҆́нъ, ꙗ҆́кѡ ты̀ слы́шалъ є҆сѝ сло́во сїѐ въ де́нь ѻ҆́ный: нн҃ѣ же є҆накі́ми та́мѡ сꙋ́ть, гра́ды твє́рды и҆ вели́цы: а҆́ще оу҆̀бо бꙋ́детъ гдⷭ҇ь со мно́ю, потреблю̀ и҆̀хъ, ꙗ҆́коже рече́ ми гдⷭ҇ь. | And now I ask of thee this mountain, as the Lord said in that day; for thou heardest this word on that day; and now the Enakim are there, cities great and strong: if then the Lord should be with me, I will utterly destroy them, as the Lord said to me. |

| И҆ благословѝ є҆го̀ і҆исꙋ́съ, и҆ дадѐ хеврѡ́нъ хале́вꙋ сы́нꙋ і҆ефонні́инꙋ, сы́нꙋ кенезе́инꙋ въ жре́бїй. | And Joshua blessed him, and gave Chebron to Chaleb the son of Jephone the son of Kenez for an inheritance. |

| Сегѡ̀ ра́ди бы́сть хеврѡ́нъ хале́вꙋ і҆ефонні́инꙋ кенезе́инꙋ въ жре́бїй да́же до днѐ сегѡ̀: поне́же возслѣ́дова повелѣ́нїю гдⷭ҇а бг҃а і҆и҃лева. | Therefore Chebron became the inheritance of Chaleb the son of Jephone the Kenezite until this day, because he followed the commandment of the Lord God of Israel. |

| И҆́мѧ же хеврѡ́нꙋ пре́жде бѧ́ше гра́дъ а҆рго́въ: митропо́ль є҆накі́млѧнъ се́й. И҆ почѝ землѧ̀ ѿ бра́ни. | And the name of Chebron before was the city Argob, it is the metropolis of the Enakim: and the land rested from war. |
