| Прⷪ҇ро́чество ѡ҆ нїнеѵі́и: кни́га видѣ́нїѧ наꙋ́ма сы́на є҆лкесе́ева. | The burden of Nineve: the book of the vision of Naum the Elkesite. |

| Бг҃ъ ревни́въ и҆ мстѧ́й гдⷭ҇ь, мстѧ́й гдⷭ҇ь съ ꙗ҆́ростїю, гдⷭ҇ь мстѧ́й сопоста́тѡмъ свои̑мъ и҆ потреблѧ́ѧй са́мъ врагѝ своѧ̑. | God is jealous, and the Lord avenges; the Lord avenges with wrath; the Lord takes vengeance on his adversaries, and he cuts off his enemies. |

| Гдⷭ҇ь долготерпѣли́въ, и҆ вели́ка крѣ́пость є҆гѡ̀, и҆ ѡ҆чища́ѧй не ѡ҆чи́ститъ гдⷭ҇ь: въ сконча́нїи и҆ трꙋ́сѣ пꙋ́ть є҆гѡ̀, и҆ ѡ҆́блацы пра́хъ но́гъ є҆гѡ̀: | The Lord is long-suffering, and his power is great, and the Lord will not hold any guiltless: his way is in destruction and in the whirlwind, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. |

| запреща́ѧй мо́рю и҆ и҆зсꙋша́ѧй є҆̀ и҆ всѧ̑ рѣ́ки ѡ҆пꙋстоша́ѧй. Оу҆ма́лисѧ васані́тїда и҆ карми́лъ, и҆ процвѣта̑ющаѧ лїва́на ѡ҆скꙋдѣ́ша: | He threatens the sea, and dries it up, and exhausts all the rivers: the land of Basan, and Carmel are brought low, and the flourishing trees of Libanus have come to nought. |

| го́ры потрѧсо́шасѧ ѿ негѡ̀, и҆ хо́лми поколеба́шасѧ, и҆ оу҆жасе́сѧ землѧ̀ ѿ лица̀ є҆гѡ̀, вселе́ннаѧ и҆ всѝ живꙋ́щїи на не́й. | The mountains quake at him, and the hills are shaken, and the earth recoils at his presence, even the world, and all that dwell in it. |

| Ѿ лица̀ гнѣ́ва є҆гѡ̀ кто̀ постои́тъ; и҆ кто̀ сопроти́витсѧ во гнѣ́вѣ ꙗ҆́рости є҆гѡ̀; ꙗ҆́рость є҆гѡ̀ растаева́етъ вла̑сти, и҆ ка́менїе сотро́шасѧ ѿ негѡ̀. | Who shall stand before his anger? and who shall withstand in the anger of his wrath? his wrath brings to nought kingdoms, and the rocks are burst asunder by him. |

| Бл҃гъ гдⷭ҇ь терпѧ́щымъ є҆го̀ въ де́нь скорбѣ́нїѧ, и҆ зна́ѧй боѧ́щыѧсѧ є҆гѡ̀: | The Lord is good to them that wait on him in the day of affliction; and he knows them that reverence him. |

| и҆ въ пото́пѣ пꙋтѝ сконча́нїе сотвори́тъ: востаю́щыѧ и҆ врагѝ є҆гѡ̀ пожене́тъ тма̀. | But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end: darkness shall pursue those that rise up against him and his enemies. |

| Что̀ помышлѧ́ете на гдⷭ҇а; сконча́нїе са́мъ сотвори́тъ, не ѿмсти́тъ два́жды кꙋ́пнѡ въ ско́рби: | What do ye devise against the Lord? he will make a complete end: he will not take vengeance by affliction twice at the same time. |

| поне́же до ѡ҆снова́нїѧ своегѡ̀ ѡ҆лѧденѣ́етъ, и҆ а҆́ки блю́щь и҆ ѡ҆плета́ющьсѧ снѣде́нъ бꙋ́детъ, и҆ а҆́ки тро́сть сꙋхоты̀ полна̀. | For the enemy shall be laid bare even to the foundation, and shall be devoured as twisted yew, and as stubble fully dry. |

| И҆з̾ тебє̀ и҆зы́детъ по́мыслъ на гдⷭ҇а ѕлы́й, совѣщава́ѧй сопрѡти́внаѧ. | Out of thee shall proceed a device against the Lord, counselling evil things hostile to him. |
|

|
| Сїѧ̑ гл҃етъ гдⷭ҇ь: ѡ҆блада́ѧй вода́ми мно́гими, и҆ си́це разстꙋ́пѧтсѧ, и҆ слꙋ́хъ тво́й не оу҆слы́шитсѧ ктомꙋ̀: | Thus saith the Lord who rules over many waters, Even thus shall they be sent away, and the report of thee shall not be heard any more. |

| и҆ нн҃ѣ сокрꙋшꙋ̀ же́злъ є҆гѡ̀ ѿ тебє̀ и҆ оу҆́зы твоѧ̑ расто́ргнꙋ. | And now will I break his rod from off thee, and will burst thy bonds. |
|

|
| И҆ заповѣ́сть ѡ҆ тебѣ̀ гдⷭ҇ь, не разсѣ́етсѧ ѿ и҆́мене твоегѡ̀ ктомꙋ̀: ѿ до́мꙋ бг҃а твоегѡ̀ потреблю̀ и҆зва̑ѧннаѧ и҆ слїѧ̑ннаѧ положꙋ̀ гро́бъ тво́й, ꙗ҆́кѡ ско́ри (є҆стѐ). | And the Lord shall give a command concerning thee; there shall no more of thy name be scattered: I will utterly destroy the graven images out of the house of thy god, and the molten images: I will make thy grave; for they are swift. |

| Сѐ, на гора́хъ но́ги благовѣствꙋ́ющагѡ и҆ возвѣща́ющагѡ ми́ръ: пра́зднꙋй, і҆ꙋ́до, пра́здники твоѧ̑, возда́ждь ѡ҆бѣ́ты твоѧ̑, занѐ не приложа́тъ ктомꙋ̀ є҆́же проитѝ сквозѣ̀ тебѐ во ѡ҆бетша́нїе: сконча́сѧ и҆ и҆зве́ржесѧ. |
