| (Зач. 1) Зача́ло Єва́нгелія Ісу́са Христа́, Си́на Бо́жия, | The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. |

| я́коже єсть пи́сано во проро́ціх: се, Аз посила́ю а́нгела Моєго́ пред лице́м Твої́м, і́же угото́вить путь Твой пред Тобо́ю. | As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, Who shall prepare thy way before thee; |

| Глас вопію́щаго в пусти́ні: угото́вайте путь Госпо́день, пра́ви творі́те стезі́ Єго́. | The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make ye ready the way of the Lord, Make his paths straight; |
|

| Бисть Іоа́нн крестя́й в пусти́ні і пропові́дая креще́ніє покая́нія во отпуще́ніє гріхо́в. | John came baptizing in the wilderness, and preaching the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins. |
|

|
| І ісхожда́ше к нему́ вся Іуде́йськая страна́ і Ієрусали́мляне; і креща́хуся всі во Іорда́ні ріці́ от него́, іспові́дающе гріхи́ своя́. | And there went out unto him all the country of Judea, and they of Jerusalem; and they were all baptized of him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins. |

| Бі же Іоа́нн оболче́н власи́ вельблу́жді, і по́яс усме́н о чреслі́х єго́, і яди́й акри́ди і мед ди́вій. | Now John was clothed with camel’s hair, and had a leathern girdle about his loins, and did eat locusts and wild honey. |

|
| І пропові́даше, глаго́ля: гряде́ть Крі́плій мене́ вслід мене́, Єму́же нісьм досто́їн прекло́нься разріши́ти реме́нь сапо́г Єго́; | And he preached, saying, There cometh after me he that is mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. |

| аз у́бо крести́х ви водо́ю, Той же крести́ть ви Ду́хом Святи́м. | I indeed baptized you in water; but he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit. |

|
| (Зач. 2) І бисть во о́ніх днех, при́йде Ісу́с от Назаре́та Галиле́йськаго і крести́ся от Іоа́нна во Іорда́ні. | And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in the Jordan. |

| І а́біє восходя́ от води́, ви́ді разводя́щася небеса́ і Ду́ха, я́ко го́луба, сходя́ща Нань. | And straightaway coming up from the water, he saw the heavens rent asunder, and the Spirit as a dove descending upon him: |

|
| І глас бисть с небесе́: Ти єси́ Син Мой возлю́бленний, о Не́мже благоволи́х. | and a voice came out of the heavens, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. |
|

|

|
| І а́біє Дух ізведе́ Єго́ в пусти́ню. | And straightaway the Spirit driveth him forth into the wilderness. |
|

|
13
|
| І бі ту в пусти́ні дній чети́редесять, іскуша́єм сатано́ю, і бі со звірми́; і а́нгели служа́ху Єму́. | And he was there in the wilderness forty days tempted of Satan; and he was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him. |
|

|

|
| По преда́нії же Іоа́ннові, при́йде Ісу́с в Галіле́ю, пропові́дая Єва́нгеліє Ца́рствія Бо́жия | Now after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, |
|

|
| і глаго́ля, я́ко іспо́лнися вре́м'я і прибли́жися Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє: пока́йтеся і ві́руйте во Єва́нгеліє. | and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe in the gospel. |

| (Зач. 3) Ходя́ же при мо́рі Галиле́йстім, ви́ді Си́мона і Андре́я, бра́та (того́) Си́мона, вмета́юща мре́жі в мо́ре, бі́ста бо ри́баря. | And walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of the same Simon, casting a net in the sea; for they were fishers. |

| І рече́ ї́ма Ісу́с: прийді́та вслід Мене́, і сотворю́ вас би́ти ловця́ челові́ком. | And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. |
|

|
| І а́біє оста́вльша мре́жі своя́, по Нем ідо́ста. | And straightaway they left their nets, and followed him. |
|

|
19
|
| І преше́д ма́ло отту́ду, узрі́ Іа́кова Зеведе́йова і Іоа́нна, бра́та єго́, і та в кораблі́ стро́яща мре́жа; | And going on a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending the nets. |

| і а́біє воззва́ я. І оста́вльша отця́ своєго́ Зеведе́я в кораблі́ с нає́мники, по Нем ідо́ста. | And straightaway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went after him. |
|

|
| І внидо́ша в Капернау́м; і а́біє в субо́ти вшед в со́нмище, уча́ше. | And they go into Capernaum; and straightaway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue and taught. |
|

|

|
| І дивля́хуся о уче́нії Єго́; бі бо учя́ їх, я́ко власть іми́й, і не я́ко кни́жници. | And they were astonished at his teaching: for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes. |
|

|
| (Зач. 4) І бі в со́нмищі їх челові́к в ду́сі нечи́сте, і воззва́, | And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, |
|

|
24
|
| глаго́ля: оста́ви, что нам і Тебі́, Ісу́се Назаряни́не? Прише́л єси́ погуби́ти нас; вім Тя, кто єси́, — Святи́й Бо́жий. | saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, Jesus thou Nazarene? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. |

| І запрети́ єму́ Ісу́с, глаго́ля: умолчи́ і ізи́ди із него́. | And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. |
|

|
| І стрясе́ єго́ дух нечи́стий, і возопи́ гла́сом вели́ким, і ізи́де із него́. | And the unclean spirit, tearing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him. |
|

|
27
|
| І ужасо́шася всі, я́коже стяза́тися їм к себі́, глаго́лющим: что єсть сіє́? (і) что уче́ніє но́воє сіє́, я́ко по о́бласті і духово́м нечи́стим вели́ть, і послу́шають Єго́? | And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What is this? what new teaching is this, that with authority he commandeth even the unclean spirits, and they obey him? |

| Ізи́де же слух Єго́ а́біє во всю страну́ Галиле́йську. | And the report of him went out straightaway into all the region of Galilee round about. |
|

| (Зач. 5) І а́біє із со́нмища ізше́дше, прийдо́ша в дом Си́монов і Андре́йов, со Іа́ковом і Іоа́нном. | And straightaway, when they were come out of the synagogue, they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. |
|

|
| Те́ща же Си́монова лежа́ше огне́м жего́ма; і а́біє глаго́лаша Єму́ о ней. | Now Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick of a fever; and straightaway they tell him of her: |

| І присту́пль воздви́же ю, єм за ру́ку єя́; і оста́ви ю огнь а́біє, і служа́ше їм. | and he came and took her by her hand, and raised her up; and straightaway the fever left her, and she ministered unto them. |
|

|
| По́зді же би́вшу, єгда́ захожда́ше со́лнце, приноша́ху к Нему́ вся неду́жния і бісни́я. | And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were sick, and them that were possessed with demons. |
|

|
| І бі весь град собра́лся к две́рем. | And all the city was gathered together at the door. |
|

|

|
| І ісціли́ мно́гі злі стра́ждущия разли́чними неду́ги; і бі́си мно́гі ізгна́, і не оставля́ше глаго́лати бі́си, я́ко ві́дяху Єго́ Христа́ су́ща. | And he healed many that were sick with diverse diseases, and cast out many demons; and he suffered not the demons to speak, because they knew him. |

| (Зач. 6) І у́тро, но́щі су́щей зіло́, воста́в ізи́де, і і́де в пу́сто мі́сто, і ту моли́тву ді́яше. | And in the morning, a great while before day, he rose up and went out, and departed into a desert place, and there prayed. |

|
| І гна́ша Єго́ Си́мон і і́же с Ним; | And Simon and they that were with him followed after him; |
|

|
37
|
| і обрі́тше Єго́, глаго́лаша Єму́, я́ко всі Тебе́ і́щуть. | and when they had found him, they say unto him, All are seeking thee. |
|

|

|
| І глаго́ла їм: і́дем в бли́жнія ве́сі і гра́ди, да і та́мо пропові́м; на сіє́ бо ізидо́х. | And he saith unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also; for to this end came I forth. |
|

|
| І бі пропові́дая на со́нмищих їх, во всей Галиле́ї, і бі́си ізгоня́. | And he was preaching in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and casting out demons. |
|

|
40
|
| І при́йде к Нему́ прокаже́н, моля́ Єго́ і на колі́ну припада́я пред Ним, і глаго́ля Єму́, я́ко, а́ще хо́щеши, мо́жеши м'я очи́стити. | And there cometh to him a leper, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. |

| Ісу́с же милосе́рдовав, просте́р ру́ку, косну́ся єго́, і глаго́ла єму́: хощу́, очи́стися. | And Jesus, being moved with compassion, stretched forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou made clean. |
|

|
| І ре́кшу єму́, а́біє оти́де от него́ прокаже́ніє, і чист бисть. | And when he had spoken, straightaway the leprosy departed from him, and he was made clean. |
|

|
43
|
| І запре́щ єму́, а́біє ізгна́ єго́; | And he strictly charged him, and straightaway sent him out, |
|

|
44
|
| і глаго́ла єму́: блюди́, нікому́же нічесо́же рци; но шед покажи́ся ієре́єві і принеси́ за очище́ніє твоє́, я́же повелі́ Моїсе́й, во свиді́тельство їм. | and saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing the things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. |

| Он же ізше́д нача́т пропові́дати мно́го і проноси́ти сло́во, я́коже ктому́ не мощи́ Єму́ я́ві во град вни́ти; но вні в пусти́х мі́стіх бі. І прихожда́ху к Нему́ отвсю́ду. | But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to spread abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into a city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter. |

| (Зач. 7) І вни́де па́ки в Капернау́м по днех; і сли́шано бисть, я́ко в дому́ єсть. | And he entered again into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. |
|

| І а́біє собра́шася мно́зі, я́коже ктому́ не вмеща́тися ні при две́рех; і глаго́лаше їм сло́во. | And straightaway many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room for them, no, not even about the door: and he spake the word unto them. |
|

|

|
| І прийдо́ша к Нему́ нося́ще разсла́бленна [жи́лами], носи́ма чети́рми; | And they come, bringing unto him a man sick of the palsy, borne of four. |
|

|
4
|
| і не могу́щим прибли́житися к Нему́ наро́да ра́ди, откри́ша покро́в, іді́же бі, і прокопа́вше сві́сиша одр, на не́мже разсла́бленний лежа́ше. | And when they could not come nigh unto him for the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed whereon the sick of the palsy lay. |

| Ви́дів же Ісу́с ві́ру їх, глаго́ла разсла́бленному: ча́до, отпуща́ються тебі́ грісі́ твої́. | And Jesus seeing their faith saith unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven thee. |
|

|
| Бя́ху же ні́ції от кни́жник ту сідя́ще і помишля́юще в сердця́х свої́х: | But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, |
|

|
7
|
| что Сей та́ко глаго́леть хули́? Кто мо́жеть оставля́ти гріхи́, то́кмо єди́н Бог? | Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but one, even God? |
|

|

|
| І а́біє разумі́в Ісу́с ду́хом Свої́м, я́ко та́ко ті́ї помишля́ють в себі́, рече́ їм: что сія́ помишля́єте в сердця́х ва́ших? | And straightaway Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? |

| Что єсть удо́біє? Рещи́ разсла́бленному: отпуща́ються тебі́ грісі́? Іли́ рещи́: воста́ни, і возьми́ одр твой і ходи́? | Which is easier, to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? |

| Но да уві́сте, я́ко власть і́мать Син Челові́чеський на землі́ отпуща́ти гріхи́; глаго́ла разсла́бленному: | But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins (he saith to the sick of the palsy), |

|
| І воста́ а́біє, і взем одр, ізи́де пред всі́ми, я́ко диви́тися всім і сла́вити Бо́га, глаго́лющим, я́ко ніколи́же та́ко ви́діхом. | And straightaway he arose, and took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. |

| (Зач. 8) І ізи́де па́ки к мо́рю; і весь наро́д ідя́ше к Нему́, і уча́ше їх. | And he went forth again by the seaside; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them. |
|

|
| І мимогря́дий ви́ді Леві́ю Алфе́йова, сідя́ща на ми́тниці, і глаго́ла єму́: по Мні гряди́. І воста́в вслід Єго́ і́де. | And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the place of toll, and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him. |

| І бисть возлежа́щу Єму́ в дому́ єго́, і мно́зі митарі́ і грі́шници возлежа́ху со Ісу́сом і со ученики́ Єго́; бя́ху бо мно́зі, і по Нем ідо́ша. | And it came to pass, as he was sitting at meat in his house, that many publicans and sinners sat down with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him. |

| І кни́жници і фарисе́є, ви́дівше Єго́ яду́ща с митарі́ і грі́шники, глаго́лаху ученико́м Єго́: что я́ко с митарі́ і грі́шники ясть і піє́ть? | And the scribes and the Pharisees, when they saw him eating with the publicans and sinners, said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners? |

| І сли́шав Ісу́с глаго́ла їм: не тре́бують здра́вії врача́, но боля́щії; не прийдо́х призва́ти пра́ведники, но грі́шники на покая́ніє. | And when Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of a physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. |

| (Зач. 9) І бя́ху ученици́ Іоа́ннови і фарісе́йстії постя́щеся. І прийдо́ша і глаго́лаша Єму́: почто́ ученици́ Іоа́ннови і фарисе́йстії постя́ться, а Твої́ ученици́ не постя́ться? | And the disciples of John and those of the Pharisees were fasting: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and those of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not? |

| І рече́ їм Ісу́с: єда́ мо́гуть си́нове бра́чнії, до́ндеже жени́х с ни́ми єсть, пости́тися? Єли́ко вре́м'я с собо́ю і́муть жениха́, не мо́гуть пости́тися; | And Jesus said unto them, Can the sons of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast. |

| при́йдуть же дні́є, єгда́ оти́меться от них жени́х, і тогда́ постя́ться в ти́я дні; | But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then will they fast in those days. |
|

| і нікто́же приложе́нія пла́та небі́лена пришива́єть к ри́зі ве́тсі: а́ще ли же ні, во́зьметь коне́ць єго́ но́воє от ве́тхаго [отто́ргнеть приставле́ніє єго́ но́воє (ні́что) от ве́тхаго], і го́рша дира́ бу́деть: | And no man seweth a piece of undressed cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and a worse rent is made. |

| і нікто́же влива́єть вина́ но́ва в мі́хи ве́тхі: а́ще ли же ні, просади́ть вино́ но́воє мі́хи, і вино́ проліє́ться, і мі́сі поги́бнуть; но вино́ но́воє в мі́хи но́ви влія́ти [подоба́єть]. | And no man putteth new wine into old wineskins; else the new wine doth burst the skins, and the wine is spilled, and the skins will perish: but new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. |

| (Зач. 10) І бисть мимоходи́ти Єму́ в субо́ти сквозі́ сі́янія, і нача́ша ученици́ Єго́ путь твори́ти, востерза́юще кла́си. | And it came to pass, that he was going on the sabbath day through the grainfields; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears. |

| І фарисе́є глаго́лаху Єму́: виждь, что творя́ть в субо́ти, єго́же не досто́їть? | And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful? |
|

|
| І Той глаго́лаше їм: ні́сте ли ніколи́же чли, что сотвори́ Дави́д, єгда́ тре́бованіє імі́ і взалка́ сам і і́же с ним? | And he said unto them, Did ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, he, and they that were with him? |

| Ка́ко вни́де в дом Бо́жий при Авіафа́рі архієре́ї, і хлі́би предложе́нія сніде́, ї́хже не достоя́ше я́сти то́кмо ієре́єм, і даде́ і су́щим с ним? | How he entered into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the showbread, which it is not lawful to eat save for the priests, and gave also to them that were with him? |

| І глаго́лаше їм: субо́та челові́ка ра́ди бисть, а не челові́к субо́ти ра́ди; | And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath: |

|
| ті́мже госпо́дь єсть Син Челові́чеський і субо́ті. | so that the Son of man is lord even of the sabbath. |

|
| І вни́де па́ки в со́нмище; і бі та́мо челові́к, су́ху іми́й ру́ку. | And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there who had his hand withered. |
|

|

|
| І назира́ху Єго́, а́ще в субо́ти ісціли́ть єго́, да Нань возглаго́лють. | And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him. |
|

|
3
|
| І глаго́ла челові́ку су́ху іму́щему ру́ку: ста́ни посреді́. | And he saith unto the man that had his hand withered, Stand forth. |
|

|
4
|
| І глаго́ла їм: досто́їть ли в субо́ти добро́ твори́ти, іли́ зло твори́ти? Ду́шу спасти́, іли́ погуби́ти? Они́ же молча́ху. | And he saith unto them, Is it lawful on the sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? to save a life, or to kill? But they held their peace. |

| І воззрі́в на них со гні́вом, скорб'я́ о окамене́нії серде́ць їх, глаго́ла челові́ку: простри́ ру́ку твою́. І простре́; і утверди́ся рука́ єго́ ціла́, я́ко друга́я. | And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their heart, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored whole, as the other. |

| (Зач. 11) І ізше́дше фарисе́є, а́біє со іродіа́ни сові́т творя́ху Нань, ка́ко Єго́ погуб'я́ть. | And the Pharisees went out, and straightaway with the Herodians took counsel against him, how they might destroy him. |
|

|
| Ісу́с же оти́де со ученики́ Свої́ми к мо́рю; і мног наро́д от Галиле́ї по Нем і́де, і от Іуде́ї, | And Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judea, |
|

|

|
| і от Ієрусали́ма, і от Ідуме́ї, і со о́наго по́лу Іорда́на. І от Ти́ра і Сидо́на мно́жество мно́гоє, сли́шавше, єли́ка творя́ше, [і] прийдо́ша к Нему́. | and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard what great things he did, came unto him. |

| І рече́ ученико́м Свої́м, да кора́бль бу́деть у Него́ наро́да ра́ди, да не стужа́ють Єму́. | And he spake to his disciples, that a little boat should wait on him because of the crowd, lest they should throng him: |

|
| Мно́гі бо ісціли́, я́коже напада́ти на Него́, да Єму́ прико́снуться, єли́ці імія́ху ра́ни. | for he had healed many; insomuch that as many as had plagues pressed upon him that they might touch him. |
|

|

|
| І ду́сі нечи́стії, єгда́ ви́дяху Єго́, припада́ху к Нему́ і зва́ху, глаго́люще, я́ко Ти єси́ Син Бо́жий. | And the unclean spirits, whensoever they beheld him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God. |

| І мно́го преща́ше їм, да не явле́на Єго́ сотворя́ть. | And he charged them much that they should not make him known. |
|

|

|
| (Зач. 12) І взи́де на гору́ і призва́, ї́хже хотя́ше Сам; і прийдо́ша к Нему́. | And he goeth up into the mountain, and calleth unto him whom he himself would; and they went unto him. |
|

|
14
|
| І сотвори́ двана́десяте, да бу́дуть с Ним, і да посила́єть їх пропові́дати, | And he appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, |
|

|
15
|
| і імі́ти власть ціли́ти неду́ги і ізгони́ти бі́си; | and to have authority to heal diseases, and to cast out demons: |

|

|
| і нарече́ Си́мону і́м'я Петр, | and Simon he surnamed Peter; |
|
17
|
17
|
| і Іа́кова Зеведе́йова, і Іоа́нна, бра́та Іа́ковля: і нарече́ ї́ма імена́ Воанерге́с, є́же єсть си́на гро́мова, | and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and them he surnamed Boanerges, which is, Sons of thunder: |

| (Зач. 13) І прийдо́ша в дом; і собра́ся па́ки наро́д, я́ко не мощи́ їм ні хлі́ба я́сти. | And they come into a house. And a multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. |

| І сли́шавше і́же бя́ху у Него́, ізидо́ша, да і́муть Єго́, глаго́лаху бо, я́ко неі́стов єсть. | And when his friends heard it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself. |

| І кни́жници, і́же от Ієрусали́ма низше́дшії, глаго́лаху, я́ко Веєльзеву́ла і́мать і я́ко о кня́зі бісо́встім ізго́нить бі́си. | And the scribes that came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebul, and, By the prince of demons casteth he out demons. |

| І призва́в їх, в при́тчах глаго́лаше їм: ка́ко мо́жеть сатана́ сатану́ ізгони́ти? | And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? |

| І а́ще ца́рство на ся разділи́ться, не мо́жеть ста́ти ца́рство то; | And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. |
|

|
| і а́ще дом на ся разділи́ться, не мо́жеть ста́ти дом той; | And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. |
|

|
| і а́ще сата́на воста́ на ся сам і разділи́ся, не мо́жеть ста́ти, но коне́ць і́мать. | And if Satan hath risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. |
|

| Нікто́же мо́жеть сосу́ди крі́пкаго, вшед в дом єго́, расхи́тити, а́ще не пе́рвіє крі́пкаго св'я́жеть, і тогда́ дом єго́ расхи́тить. | No one can enter into the house of the strong man, and plunder his goods, except he first bind the strong man; and then he may plunder his house. |

| Зане́ глаго́лаху: ду́ха нечи́стаго і́мать. | because they said, He hath an unclean spirit. |

|
| Прийдо́ша у́бо Ма́ти і бра́тія Єго́, і вні стоя́ще посла́ша к Нему́, зову́ще Єго́. | There come then his brethren and his mother; and, standing without, they sent unto him, calling him. |

| І сідя́ше наро́д о́крест Єго́. Рі́ша же Єму́: се Ма́ти Твоя́ і бра́тія Твоя́ [і сестри́ Твоя́] вні і́щуть Тебе́. | And a multitude was sitting about him; and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother, and thy brethren, and thy sisters without seek for thee. |

| І отвіща́ ім, глаго́ля: кто єсть ма́ти Моя́, іли́ бра́тія Моя́? | And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother or my brethren? |

| І согля́дав о́крест Себе́ сідя́щия, глаго́ла: се, ма́ти Моя́ і бра́тія Моя́; | And looking round on them that sat round about him, he saith, Behold, my mother and my brethren! |

| і́же бо а́ще сотвори́ть во́лю Бо́жию, сей брат Мой і сестра́ Моя́ і ма́ти (Мі) єсть. | For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother. |

| (Зач. 15) І па́ки нача́т учи́ти при мо́рі; і собра́ся к Нему́ наро́д мног, я́коже Самому́ влі́зшу в кора́бль, сіді́ти в мо́рі; і весь наро́д при мо́рі на землі́ бя́ше. | And again he began to teach by the seaside. And there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into the boat, and sat in the sea; and all the multitude was by the sea on the land. |

| І уча́ше їх при́тчами мно́го і глаго́лаше їм во уче́ніії Своє́м: | And he taught them many things in parables, and said unto them in his teaching, |

| сли́шіте: се, ізи́де сі́яй сі́яти; | Hearken: Behold, the sower went forth to sow: |
|

|

|
| і бисть єгда́ сі́яше, о́во паде́ при путі́, і прийдо́ша пти́ці, і позоба́ша є; | and it came to pass, as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured it. |
|

|
| друго́є же паде́ при ка́мені, іді́же не ім'я́ше землі́ мно́ги, і а́біє прозябе́, зане́ не ім'я́ше глубини́ земни́я: | And other fell on the rocky ground, where it had not much earth; and straightaway it sprang up, because it had no deepness of earth: |

| со́лнцю же возсія́вшу присвя́де, і зане́ не ім'я́ше ко́рене, і́зсше; | but when the sun was risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. |

| і друго́є паде́ в те́рнії, і взи́де те́рніє, і подави́ є, і плода́ не даде́: | And other fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. |
|

|
| і друго́є паде́ на землі́ до́брій, і дая́ше плод восходя́щ і расту́щ, і припло́доваше на три́десять, і на шестьдеся́т, і на сто. | And other fell into the good ground, and yielded fruit, growing up and increasing; and brought forth, thirtyfold, and sixtyfold, and a hundredfold. |

| І глаго́лаше: імі́яй у́ші сли́шати да сли́шить. | And he said, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. |

| (Зач. 16) Єгда́ же бисть єди́н, вопроси́ша Єго́, і́же бя́ху с Ним, со обімана́десяте о при́тчі. | And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. |

| І глаго́лаше їм: вам єсть дано́ ві́дати та́йни Ца́рствія Бо́жия, о́нім же вні́шним в при́тчах вся бива́ють, | And he said unto them, Unto you is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all things are done in parables: |

| да ви́дяще ви́дять, і не у́зрять; і сли́шаще сли́шать, і не разумі́ють; да не когда́ обратя́ться, і оста́в'яться їм грісі́. | that seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest haply they should turn again, and their sins should be forgiven them. |

| І глаго́ла їм: не ві́сте ли при́тчі сея́? І ка́ко вся при́тчі уразумі́єте? | And he saith unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how shall ye know all the parables? |

| Сі́яй, сло́во сі́єть. | The sower soweth the word. |
|

|
15
|
| Сі́ї же суть, і́же при путі́, іді́же сі́ється сло́во, і єгда́ усли́шать, а́біє прихо́дить сатана́ і оте́млеть сло́во сі́янноє в сердця́х їх. | And these are they by the wayside, where the word is sown; and when they have heard, straightaway cometh Satan, and taketh away the word which hath been sown in their hearts. |

| І сі́ї суть тако́жде і́же на ка́менних сі́ємії, і́же єгда́ усли́шать сло́во, а́біє с ра́достію приє́млють є; | And these in like manner are they that are sown upon the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, straightaway receive it with joy; |

|
| і не і́муть коре́нія в себі́, но привре́менні суть; та́же би́вшей печа́лі іли́ гоне́нію словесе́ ра́ди, а́біє соблажня́ються. | and they have no root in themselves, but endure for a while; then, when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, straightaway they stumble. |

| А сі́ї суть, і́же в те́рнії сі́ємії, сли́шащії сло́во; | And these are they that are sown among the thorns; such as hear the word, |

| і печа́лі ві́ка сего́, і лесть бога́тства, і о про́чих по́хоті входя́щия подавля́ють сло́во, і безпло́дно бива́єть. | and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. |

| І сі́ї суть, і́же на землі́ до́брій сі́яннії, і́же сли́шать сло́во і приє́млють, і пло́дствують на три́десять, і на шестьдеся́т, і на сто. | And these are they that were sown upon the good ground; such as hear the word, and accept it, and bear fruit, thirtyfold, and sixtyfold, and a hundredfold. |

| І глаго́лаше їм: єда́ світи́льник прихо́дить [вжига́ють], да под спу́дом положа́ть єго́ іли́ под одро́м? Не да ли на сві́щниці положе́н бу́деть? | And he said unto them, Is the lamp brought to be put under the bushel, or under the bed, and not to be put on the stand? |

| ність бо та́йно, є́же не яви́ться, ніже́ бисть потає́но, но да при́йдеть в явле́ніє; | For there is not anything hidden, which shall not be manifested; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light. |

| а́ще кто і́мать у́ші сли́шати, да сли́шить. | If any man hath ears to hear, let him hear. |

| (Зач. 17) І глаго́лаше їм: блюді́те что сли́шите: в ню́же мі́ру мі́рите, возмі́риться вам, і приложи́ться вам сли́шащим; | And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete it shall be measured unto you; and more shall be given unto you that hear. |

| І глаго́лаше: та́ко єсть [і] Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє, я́коже челові́к вмета́єть сі́м'я в зе́млю, | And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed upon the earth; |

| і спить, і востає́ть но́щію і дні́ю, і сі́м'я прозяба́єть і расте́ть, я́коже не вість он; | and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, he knoweth not how. |
|

|
| от себе́ бо земля́ плоди́ть пре́жде траву́, пото́м клас, та́же ісполня́єть пшени́цю в кла́сі; | For the earth beareth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. |
|

|
| єгда́ же созрі́єть плод, а́біє по́слеть серп, я́ко наста́ жа́тва. | But when the fruit is ripe, straightaway he putteth forth the sickle, because the harvest is come. |
|

|
| І глаго́лаше: чесому́ уподо́бим Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє? Іли́ ко́єй при́тчі приложи́м є? | And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? |

|
| я́ко зе́рно гору́шично, є́же єгда́ всі́яно бу́деть в землі́, мні́є всіх сі́мен єсть земни́х; | It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown upon the earth, is less than all the seeds that are upon the earth, |
|

|
| і єгда́ всі́яно бу́деть, возраста́єть, і бива́єть бо́ліє всіх зе́лій, і твори́ть ві́тві ве́лія, я́ко мощи́ под сі́нію єго́ пти́цям небе́сним вита́ти. | yet when it is sown, groweth up, and becometh greater than all the herbs, and putteth out great branches; so that the birds of the heaven can lodge under the shadow thereof. |

| І такови́ми при́тчами мно́гими глаго́лаше їм сло́во, я́коже можа́ху сли́шати. | And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it; |

|
| Без при́тчі же не глаго́лаше їм словесе́; осо́б же ученико́м Свої́м сказа́ше вся. | and without a parable spake he not unto them: but privately to his disciples he expounded all things. |
|

|
| (Зач. 18) І глаго́ла їм в той день, ве́черу би́вшу: пре́йдем на он пол. | And on that day, when even was come, he saith unto them, Let us go over unto the other side. |
|

|
| І отпу́щше наро́ди, поя́ша Єго́ я́коже бі в кораблі́; і іні́ї же кораблі́ бя́ху с Ним. | And leaving the multitude, they take him with them, even as he was, in the boat. And other little boats also were with him. |

| І бисть бу́ря ві́трена вели́ка; во́лни же влива́хуся в кора́бль, я́ко уже́ погружа́тися єму́. | And there ariseth a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the boat, insomuch that it was now filling. |

| І бі Сам на кормі́ на возгла́вниці сп'я. І возбуди́ша Єго́ і глаго́лаша Єму́: Учи́телю, не ради́ши ли, я́ко погиба́єм? | And he himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion: and they awake him, and say unto him, Teacher, carest thou not that we perish? |

| І воста́в запрети́ ві́тру і рече́ мо́рю: молчи́, преста́ни. І уле́же вітр, і бисть тишина́ ве́лія. | And he awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. |

| І рече́ їм: что та́ко страшли́ві єсте́? Ка́ко не і́мате ві́ри? | And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? |

| І убоя́шася стра́хом ве́ліїм і глаго́лаху друг ко дру́гу: кто у́бо Сей єсть, я́ко і вітр, і мо́ре послу́шають Єго́? | And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him? |

| (Зач.19) І прийдо́ша на он пол мо́ря, во страну́ Гадари́нськую. | And they came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. |

| І ізлі́зшу Єму́ із корабля́, а́біє срі́те Єго́ от гробо́в челові́к в ду́сі нечи́сті, | And when he was come out of the boat, straightaway there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, |

|
| і́же жили́ще ім'я́ше во гробі́х, і ні вери́гами нікто́же можа́ше єго́ св'яза́ти; | who had his dwelling in the tombs: and no man could bind him, no, not with a chain; |
|

|

|
| зане́ єму́ мно́гажди пу́ти і у́жі [желі́зни] св'я́зану су́щу, і растерза́тися от него́ у́жем [желі́зним] і пу́том сокруша́тися; і нікто́же можа́ше єго́ уму́чити [укроти́ти]; | because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been rent asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: and no man had strength to tame him. |

| і ви́ну нощ і день во гробі́х і в гора́х бі, вопія́ і толки́йся ка́менієм. | And always, night and day, in the mountains and in the tombs, he was crying out, and cutting himself with stones. |

| Узрі́в же Ісу́са іздале́ча, тече́ і поклони́ся Єму́, | But when he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped him; |
|

|
| і возопи́в гла́сом ве́ліїм, рече́: что мні і Тебі́, Ісу́се, Си́не Бо́га Ви́шняго? Заклина́ю Тя Бо́гом, не му́чи мене́. | and crying out with a loud voice, he said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the Most High God? I adjure thee by God, torment me not. |

| Глаго́лаше бо єму́: ізи́ди, ду́ше нечи́стий, от челові́ка. | For he said unto him, Come forth, thou unclean spirit, out of the man. |

|
| І вопроша́ше єго́: что ті єсть і́м'я? І отвіща́ глаго́ля: легео́н і́м'я мні, я́ко мно́зі єсьми́. | And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion; for we are many. |
|

|
| І моли́ша Єго́ мно́го, да не по́слеть їх вні страни́. | And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. |
|

|

|
| Бі же ту при горі́ ста́до свино́є ве́ліє пасо́мо. | Now there was there on the mountainside a great herd of swine feeding. |
|

|
| І моли́ша Єго́ всі бі́си, глаго́люще: посли́ ни во свинія́, да в ня вни́дем. | And all the demons besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. |
|

|
| І повелі́ їм а́біє Ісу́с. І ізше́дше ду́сі нечи́стії, внидо́ша во свинія́; і устреми́ся ста́до по бре́гу в мо́ре, бя́ху же я́ко дві ти́сящі, і утопа́ху в мо́рі. | And straightaway Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits came out, and entered into the swine: and the herd rushed down the steep into the sea (and they were about two thousand); and they were drowned in the sea. |

| Пасу́щії же свинія́ біжа́ша і возвісти́ша во гра́ді і в се́ліх. І ізидо́ша ви́діти, что єсть би́вшеє. | And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they came out to see what it was that had come to pass. |
|

|
| І прийдо́ша ко Ісу́сові, і ви́діша біснова́вшагося сідя́ща і оболче́на і сми́сляща, імі́вшаго легео́н; і убоя́шася. | And they come to Jesus, and behold him that was possessed with demons sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind, even him that had the legion: and they were afraid. |

| Пові́даша же їм ви́дівшії, ка́ко бисть бісно́му, і о свинія́х. | And they that saw it declared unto them how it befell him that was possessed with demons, and concerning the swine. |

|
| І нача́ша моли́ти Єго́ отити́ от преді́л їх. | And they began to beseech him to depart from their borders. |
|

|
| І влі́зшу Єму́ в кора́бль, моля́ше Єго́ біснова́вийся, даби́ бил с Ним. | And when he was entered into the boat, he that had been possessed with demons besought him that he might be with him. |
|

|
19
|
| Ісу́с же не даде́ єму́, но рече́ єму́: іди́ в дом твой ко твої́м і возвісти́ їм, єли́ка ті Госпо́дь сотвори́ і поми́лова тя. | But Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go to thy house unto thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and how he had mercy on thee. |

| І і́де і нача́ пропові́дати в десяти́ гра́діх, єли́ка сотвори́ єму́ Ісу́с. І всі дивля́хуся. | And he went his way, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men marveled. |

| (Зач. 20) І преше́дшу Ісу́су в кораблі́ па́ки на он пол, собра́ся наро́д мног о Нем [к Нему́]. І бі при мо́рі. | And when Jesus had crossed over again in the boat unto the other side, a great multitude was gathered unto him; and he was by the sea. |

| І се, при́йде єди́н от архісинаго́г, і́менем Іаі́р, і ви́дів Єго́, паде́ при ногу́ Єго́ | And behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and seeing him, he falleth at his feet, |

| і моля́ше Єго́ мно́го, глаго́ля, я́ко дщи моя́ на кончи́ні єсть; да прише́д возложи́ши на ню ру́ці, я́ко да спасе́ться і жива́ бу́деть. | and besought him much, saying, My little daughter is at the point of death: I pray thee, that thou come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be made whole; and she shall live. |

| І і́де с Ним; (Зач. 21) і по Нем ідя́ху наро́ди мно́зі і угнета́ху Єго́. | And he went with him; and a great multitude followed him, and they thronged him. |

| І жена́ ні́кая су́щи в точе́нії кро́ве літ двана́десяте, | And a certain woman, who had an issue of blood twelve years, |

|
| і мно́го пострада́вши от мног враче́в, і ізда́вши своя́ вся, і ні єди́ния по́льзи обрі́тши, но па́че в го́ршеє прише́дши; | and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, |

| сли́шавши о Ісу́сі, прише́дши в наро́ді созади́, прикосну́ся ри́зі Єго́; | having heard of Jesus, came in the crowd behind, and touched his garment. |
|

|
| глаго́лаше бо, я́ко, а́ще прикосну́ся ри́зам Єго́, спасе́на бу́ду. | For she said, If I touch but his garments, I shall be made whole. |
|

|
| І а́біє ізся́кну істо́чник кро́ве єя́; і разумі́ [ощути́] ті́лом, я́ко ісцілі́ от ра́ни. | And straightaway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her plague. |

|
| І а́біє Ісу́с разумі́ в Себі́ си́лу ізше́дшую от Него́, (і) обра́щся в наро́ді, глаго́лаше: кто прикосну́ся ри́зам Мої́м? | And straightaway Jesus, perceiving in himself that the power proceeding from him had gone forth, turned him about in the crowd, and said, Who touched my garments? |

| І глаго́лаху Єму́ ученици́ Єго́: ви́диши наро́д угнета́ющ Тя, і глаго́леши: кто прикосну́ся Мні? | And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? |

| І обгля́даше ви́діти сотво́ршую сіє́. | And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. |
|

|
| Жена́ же убоя́вшися і трепе́щущи, ві́дящи, є́же бисть єй, при́йде і припаде́ к Нему́ і рече́ Єму́ всю і́стину. | But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what had been done to her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. |

| Он же рече́ єй: дщи, ві́ра твоя́ спасе́ тя; іди́ в ми́рі і бу́ди ціла́ от ра́ни твоєя́. | And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. |

|
| Єще́ Єму́ глаго́лющу, (і) прийдо́ша от архісинаго́га, глаго́люще, я́ко дщи твоя́ у́мре; что єще́ дви́жеши Учи́теля? | While he yet spake, they come from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Teacher any further? |

| Ісу́с же а́біє сли́шав сло́во глаго́лемоє, глаго́ла архісинаго́гові: не бо́йся, то́кмо ві́руй. | But straightaway Jesus, when he heard the word that was spoken, saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Fear not, only believe. |

| І не оста́ви по Себі́ ні єди́наго іти́, то́кмо Петра́, і Іа́кова, і Іоа́нна, бра́та Іа́ковля. | And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. |

| І при́йде в дом архісинаго́гов і ви́ді молву́, пла́чущияся і крича́щия мно́го. | And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue; and he beholdeth a tumult, many weeping and wailing greatly. |

| І вшед глаго́ла їм: что мо́лвите і пла́четеся? Отрокови́ця ність умерла́, но спить. | And when he was entered in, he saith unto them, Why make ye a tumult, and weep? the child is not dead, but sleepeth. |
|

| І руга́хуся Єму́. Он же ізгна́в вся, поя́т отця́ отрокови́ці і ма́тер, і і́же (бі́ху) с Ним, і вни́де, іді́же бі отрокови́ця лежа́щи. | And they laughed him to scorn. But he, having put them all forth, taketh the father of the child and her mother and them that were with him, and goeth in where the child was lying. |

| І єм за ру́ку отрокови́цю, глаго́ла єй: таліфа́ ку́мі, є́же єсть сказа́ємо: діви́це, тебі́ глаго́лю, воста́ни. | And taking the child by the hand, he saith unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, Arise. |

| І а́біє воста́ діви́ця і хожда́ше; бі бо літ двоюна́десяте. І ужасо́шася у́жасом ве́ліїм. | And straightaway the damsel rose up, and walked; for she was twelve years old. And they were amazed with a great amazement. |

| І запрети́ їм мно́го, да нікто́же уві́сть сего́, і рече́: даді́те єй я́сти. | And he charged them much that no man should know this: and he commanded that something should be given her to eat. |

| І би́вшей субо́ті, нача́т на со́нмищи учи́ти. І мно́зі сли́шащії дивля́хуся, глаго́люще: отку́ду Сему́ сія́? І что прему́рость да́нная Єму́, і си́ли такови́ рука́ма Єго́ бива́ють? | And when the sabbath was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, Whence hath this man these things? and, What is the wisdom that is given unto him? and, Such mighty works are wrought by his hands! |

| Не Сей ли єсть текто́н, Син Марі́їн, брат же Іа́кову і Іосі́ї і Іу́ді і Си́мону? І не сестри́ ли Єго́ зді (суть) в нас? І блажня́хуся о Нем. | Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, and Joses, and Judas, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended in him. |

| Глаго́лаше же їм Ісу́с, я́ко ність проро́к без че́сти, то́кмо во оте́чествії своє́м, і в сро́дстві і в дому́ своє́м. | And Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. |

| І не можа́ше ту ні єди́ния си́ли сотвори́ти, то́кмо ма́ло неду́жних, возло́ж ру́ці, ісціли́. | And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. |

| І дивля́шеся за неві́рствіє їх; і обхожда́ше ве́сі о́крест учя́. | And he marveled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages teaching. |
|

| (Зач. 23) І призва́ обана́десяте, і нача́т їх посила́ти два два, і дая́ше їм власть над ду́хи нечи́стими. | And he calleth unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits; |

І запові́да їм, да нічесо́же во́зьмуть на путь, то́кмо жезл єди́н: ні пи́ри, ні хлі́ба, ні при по́ясі міді, |
and he charged them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no wallet, no bread, no money in their purse; |

| но обуве́ні в санда́лія; і не облачи́тися в дві ри́зі. | but to go shod with sandals: and, said he, Put not on two coats. |
|

|
| І глаго́лаше їм: іді́же а́ще вни́дете в дом, ту пребива́йте, до́ндеже ізи́дете отту́ду. | And he said unto them, Wheresoever ye enter into a house, there abide till ye depart thence. |
|

|
| і єли́ці а́ще не при́ймуть ви, ніже́ послу́шають вас, ісходя́ще отту́ду, оттрясі́те прах, і́же под нога́ми свої́ми, во свиді́тельство їм; амі́нь глаго́лю вам, отра́дніє бу́деть Содо́мом і Гомо́рром в день су́дний, не́же гра́ду тому́. | And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, as ye go forth thence, shake off the dust that is under your feet for a testimony unto them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom or Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city. |

| І ізше́дше пропові́даху, да пока́ються; | And they went out, and preached that men should repent. |

| і бі́си мно́гі ізгоня́ху; і ма́заху ма́слом мно́гі неду́жния, і ісціліва́ху. | And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them. |
|

|
| (Зач. 24) І усли́ша цар І́род; я́ві бо бисть і́м'я Єго́; і глаго́лаше, я́ко Іоа́нн Крести́тель от ме́ртвих воста́, і сего́ ра́ди си́ли ді́ються о нем. | And king Herod heard thereof; for his name had become known: and he said, John the Baptizer is risen from the dead, and therefore do these powers work in him. |

| Іні́ї глаго́лаху, я́ко Ілія́ єсть; іні́ї же глаго́лаху, я́ко проро́к єсть, іли́ я́ко єди́н от проро́к. | Others said, It is Elijah. And others said, It is a prophet, as one of the prophets. |

|
| Сли́шав же І́род рече́, я́ко, єго́же аз усі́кнух Іоа́нна, той єсть; той воста́ от ме́ртвих. | But Herod, when he heard thereof, said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead. |

| Той бо І́род посла́в, ят Іоа́нна і связа́ єго́ в темни́ці, Іродіа́ди ра́ди жени́ Фили́ппа, бра́та своєго́, я́ко ожени́ся є́ю. | For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife; for he had married her. |

| Глаго́лаше бо Іоа́нн І́родові: не достої́ть тебі́ імі́ти жену́ [Фили́ппа] бра́та твоєго́. | For John said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother’s wife. |

| Іроді́а же гні́вашеся на него́ і хотя́ше єго́ уби́ти; і не можа́ше. | And Herodias set herself against him, and desired to kill him; and she could not; |

| І́род бо боя́шеся Іоа́нна, ві́дий єго́ му́жа пра́ведна і свя́та, і соблюда́ше єго́; і послу́шав єго́, мно́га творя́ше, і в сла́дость єго́ послу́шаше. | for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and kept him safe. And when he heard him, he did many things; and he heard him gladly. |

| І приклю́чшуся дню потре́бну [удо́бну], єгда́ І́род рождеству́ своєму́ ве́черю творя́ше князе́м свої́м, і ти́сящником, і старі́йшинам галиле́йським; | And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, and the high captains, and the chief men of Galilee; |

| і вше́дши дщер тоя́ Іродіа́ди, і пляса́вши, і уго́ждши І́родові і возлежа́щим с ним, рече́ цар діви́ці: проси́ у мене́ єго́же а́ще хо́щеши, і дам ті. | and when the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat at meat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee. |

| І кля́тся єй: я́ко єго́же а́ще попроси́ши у мене́, дам ті, і до пол ца́рствія моєго́. | And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom. |

| Она́ же ізше́дши рече́ ма́тері своє́й: чесо́ прошу́? Она́ же рече́: глави́ Іоа́нна Крести́теля. | And she went out, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist. |

|
| І вше́дши а́біє со тща́нієм к царю́, прося́ше, глаго́лющи: хощу́, да мі да́си от него́ [а́біє] на блю́ді главу́ Іоа́нна Крести́теля. | And she came in straightaway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me forthwith on a platter the head of John the Baptist. |

| І приско́рбен бив цар, кля́тви [же] ра́ди і за возлежа́щих с ним не восхоті́ отріщи́ єй. | And the king was exceeding sorry; but for the sake of his oaths, and of them that sat at meat with him, he would not reject her. |

| І а́біє посла́в цар спекула́тора, повелі́ принести́ главу́ єго́. | And straightaway the king sent forth a soldier of his guard, and commanded his head to be brought: |

|
| Он же шед усі́кну єго́ в темни́ці, і принесе́ главу́ єго́ на блю́ді, і даде́ ю діви́ці, і діви́ця даде́ ю ма́тері своє́й. | and he went and beheaded him in the prison, and brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the damsel; and the damsel gave it to her mother. |

| І сли́шавше ученици́ єго́, прийдо́ша і взя́ша труп єго́, і положи́ша єго́ во гро́бі. | And when his disciples heard thereof, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb. |

| (Зач. 25) І собраша́ся апо́столи ко Ісу́су і возвісти́ша Єму́ вся, і єли́ка сотвори́ша, і єли́ка научи́ша. | And the apostles gather themselves together unto Jesus; and they told him all things, even whatsoever they had done, and whatsoever they had taught. |

| І рече́ їм: прийді́те ви са́мі в пу́сто мі́сто єди́ні [осо́б] і почі́йте ма́ло. Бя́ху бо приходя́щії і отходя́щії мно́зі, і ні я́сти їм бі когда́. | And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while. For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat. |

| І ідо́ша в пу́сто мі́сто корабле́м єди́ні. | And they went away to a desert place by boat privately. |

|
| І ви́діша їх іду́щих наро́ди, і позна́ша їх мно́зі; і пі́ші от всіх градо́в стица́хуся та́мо, і предвари́ша їх, і снидо́шася к Нему́. | And the people saw them going, and many knew him, and they ran together there on foot from all the cities, and outwent them, and came together unto him. |

| І ізше́д ви́ді Ісу́с наро́д мног і милосе́рдова о них, зане́ бя́ху я́ко о́вці не іму́щия па́стиря; і нача́т їх учи́ти мно́го. | And Jesus, when he came forth, saw a great multitude, and he had compassion on them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things. |

| І уже́ часу́ мно́гу би́вшу, присту́пльше к Нему́ ученици́ Єго́, глаго́лаша, я́ко пу́сто єсть мі́сто, і уже́ час мног, — | And when the day was now far spent, his disciples having come unto him say, The place is desert, and the day is now far spent; |

| отпусти́ їх, да ше́дше во окре́стних се́ліх і ве́сех ку́п'ять себі́ хлі́би; не і́муть бо чесо́ я́сти. | send them away, that they may go into the country and villages round about, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat. |

|
| Он же отвіща́в рече́ їм: даді́те їм ви я́сти. І глаго́лаша Єму́: да ше́дше ку́пим двіма́ сто́ма пі́нязь хлі́би і да́ми їм я́сти? | But he answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii’ worth of bread, and give them to eat? |

| Он же рече́ ім: коли́ко хлі́би і́мате? Іді́те і ви́діте. І уві́дівше глаго́лаша: п'ять [хліб], і дві ри́бі. | And he saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fish. |

|
| І повелі́ їм посади́ти вся на спо́ди на спо́ди [во окру́г] на траві́ зелені́. | And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass. |
|

|

|
| І возлего́ша на лі́хи на лі́хи [на ку́чи] по сту і по п'яти́десят. | And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties. |
|

|

|
| І приє́м п'ять хліб і дві ри́бі, воззрі́в на не́бо, благослови́ і преломи́ хлі́би, і дая́ше ученико́м Свої́м, да предлага́ють пред ни́ми; і о́бі ри́бі разділи́ всім. | And he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake the loaves; and he gave to his disciples to set before them; and the two fish divided he among them all. |

| І ядо́ша всі і наси́тишася; | And they all ate, and were filled. |
|

|

|
| і взя́ша укру́хи, двана́десяте ко́ша іспо́лнь, і от ри́бу. | And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces, and of the fish. |
|

|

|
| Бя́ше же я́дших хлі́би я́ко п'ять ти́сящ муже́й. | And they that ate the loaves were five thousand men. |
|

|
| (Зач. 26) І а́біє пону́ди ученики́ Своя́ вни́ти в кора́бль і вари́ти [предвари́ти] Єго́ на он пол к Вифсаї́ді, до́ндеже Сам отпу́стить наро́ди. | And straightaway he constrained his disciples to enter into the boat, and to go before him unto the other side to Bethsaida, while he himself sent the multitude away. |

| І отре́кся їм [і отпусти́в я], і́де в го́ру помоли́тися. | And after he had taken leave of them, he departed into the mountain to pray. |

| І ве́черу би́вшу, бі кора́бль посреді́ мо́ря, і Сам єди́н на землі́. | And when even was come, the boat was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land. |
|

|
| І ви́ді їх стра́ждущих в пла́ванії; бі бо вітр проти́вен їм; і о четве́ртій стра́жі нощні́й при́йде к ним, по мо́рю ходя́й, і хотя́ше мину́ти їх. | And he saw them distressed in rowing, for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking on the sea; and he would have passed by them: |

| Они́ же ви́дівше Єго́ ходя́ща по мо́рю, мня́ху призра́к би́ти і возопи́ша. | but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed it to be a ghost, and cried out; |

| Всі бо Єго́ ви́діша і смути́шася. І а́біє глаго́ла с ни́ми і рече́ їм: дерза́йте! Аз єсьм, не бо́йтеся! | for they all saw him, and were troubled. And straightaway he spake with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid. |

| І вни́де к ним в кора́бль; і уле́же вітр. І зіло́ і́злиха в себі́ ужаса́хуся і дивля́хуся. | And he went up unto them into the boat; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marveled; |

| Не разумі́ша бо о хлі́біх; бі бо се́рдце їх окамене́но. | for they understood not concerning the loaves, for their heart was hardened. |

|
| І преше́дше прийдо́ша в зе́млю Геннисаре́тську і приста́ша. | And when they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret, and moored to the shore. |

|
| (Зач. 27) І ізше́дшим їм із корабля́, а́біє позна́ша Єго́, | And when they were come out of the boat, straightaway the people knew him, |
|

|

|
| обте́кше всю страну́ ту, нача́ша на одрі́х приноси́ти боля́щия, іді́же сли́шаху, я́ко ту єсть. | and having run round about that whole surrounding region, they began to carry about on their beds those that were sick, thither where they heard he was. |

| І а́може а́ще вхожда́ше в ве́сі, іли́ во гра́ди, іли́ се́ла, на распу́тіїх полага́ху неду́жния і моля́ху Єго́, да поне́ воскри́лію ри́зи Єго́ прико́снуться; і єли́ці а́ще прикаса́хуся Єму́, спаса́хуся. | And wheresoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole. |

| І собра́шася к Нему́ фарисе́є і ні́ції от кни́жник, прише́дшії от Ієрусали́ма; | And there are gathered together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, who had come from Jerusalem: |

| і ви́дівше ні́кіїх от учени́к Єго́ нечи́стими рука́ми, си́річ неумове́ними, яду́щих хлі́би, руга́хуся. | and when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is, unwashed, hands, they found fault. |
|

|
|
Фарисе́є бо і всі іуде́є, а́ще не три́юще [до лако́т] уми́ють рук, не ядя́ть, держа́ще преда́нія ста́рець; |
(For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands diligently, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders; |

| і от то́ржища, а́ще не поку́плються, не ядя́ть. І і́на мно́га суть, я́же прия́ша держа́ти: погруже́нія сткля́ницям, і чва́ном, і котло́м, і одро́м. | and when they come from the marketplace, except they bathe themselves, they eat not; and many other things there are, which they have received to hold, washings of cups, and pots, and brazen vessels, and couches.) |

| (Зач. 28) Пото́м же вопроша́ху Єго́ фарисе́є і кни́жници: почто́ ученици́ Твої́ не хо́дять по преда́нію ста́рець, но неумове́ними рука́ми ядя́ть хліб? | Then the Pharisees and the scribes ask him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands? |

| Он же отвіща́в рече́ їм, я́ко до́брі проро́чествова Іса́я о вас лицемі́ріх, я́коже єсть пи́сано: сі́ї лю́діє устна́ми М'я чтуть, се́рдце же їх дале́че отстої́ть от Мене́, | And he answered and said unto them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, But their heart is far from me. |

| всу́є же чтуть М'я, уча́ще уче́нієм, за́повідем челові́чеським; | But in vain do they worship me, Teaching as their doctrines the precepts of men. |

| оста́вльше бо за́повідь Бо́жию, держите́ преда́нія челові́чеськая, креще́нія [омове́нія] чва́ном, і сткля́ницам, і і́на подо́бна такова́ мно́га творите́. | For leaving the commandment of God, ye hold fast the tradition of men, washings of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. |

| І глаго́лаше їм: до́брі отмета́єте за́повідь Бо́жию, да преда́ніє ва́ше соблюдете́; | And he said unto them, Full well do ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your tradition. |

| Моїсе́й бо рече́: чти отця́ твоєго́ і ма́тер твою́; і і́же злосло́вить отця́ іли́ ма́тер, сме́ртію да у́мреть: | For Moses said, Honor thy father and thy mother; and, He that speaketh evil of father or mother, let him die the death: |

| ви же глаго́лете: а́ще рече́ть челові́к отцю́ іли́ ма́тері: корва́н, є́же єсть дар, і́же а́ще [і́мже би] по́льзовался єси́ от мене́; | but ye say, If a man shall say to his father or his mother, That wherewith thou mightest have been profited by me is Corban, that is to say, Given to God; |

| і не ктому́ оставля́єте єго́ что сотвори́ти отцю́ своєму́ іли́ ма́тері своє́й, | and ye no longer suffer him to do aught for his father or his mother; |

|
| преступа́юще сло́во Бо́жиє преда́нієм ва́шим, є́же преда́сте; і подо́бна такова́ мно́га творите́. | making void the word of God by your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things ye do. |

| (Зач. 29) І призва́в весь наро́д, глаго́лаше їм: послу́шайте Мене́ всі і разумі́йте: | And he called to him all the multitude, and said unto them, Hear me all of you, and understand: |

| нічто́же єсть вніу́ду челові́ка входи́мо в онь, є́же мо́жеть оскверни́ти єго́; но ісходя́щая от него́ — та суть скверня́щая челові́ка; | there is nothing from without the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of him, those are they that defile the man. |

| а́ще кто і́мать у́ші сли́шати, да сли́шить. | If any man hath ears to hear, let him hear. |

| І єгда́ вни́де в дом от наро́да, вопроша́ху Єго́ ученици́ Єго́ о при́тчі. | And when he was entered into a house from the multitude, his disciples asked him concerning the parable. |
|

|

|
| І глаго́ла їм: та́ко ли і ви неразу́мливі єсте́? Не разумі́єте ли, я́ко все, є́же ізвні́ входи́моє в челові́ка, не мо́жеть оскверни́ти єго́? | And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Perceive ye not, that whatsoever from without goeth into the man, it cannot defile him; |

| я́ко не вхо́дить єму́ в се́рдце, но во чре́во, і афедро́ном ісхо́дить, істребля́я вся бра́шна. | because it goeth not into his heart, but into his belly, and goeth out into the draft, making all meats clean? |

| Глаго́лаше же, я́ко ісходя́щеє от челові́ка, то скверни́ть челові́ка; | And he said, That which proceedeth out of the man, that defileth the man. |

|
| ізвну́тр бо от се́рдця челові́чеська помишле́нія зла́я ісхо́дять, прелюбодія́нія, любодія́нія, уби́йства, | For from within, out of the heart of men, evil thoughts proceed, adulteries, fornications, murders, |

| татьби́, лихої́мства, [оби́ди,] лука́вствія, лесть, студодія́нія, о́ко лука́во, хула́, горди́ня, безу́мство, — | thefts, covetings, wickednesses, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, railing, pride, foolishness: |

|
| вся сія́ зла́я ізвну́тр ісхо́дять і скверня́ть челові́ка. | all these evil things proceed from within, and defile the man. |
|

|

|
| (Зач. 30) І отту́ду воста́в, і́де в преді́ли Тирські і Сидо́нські; і, вшед в дом, ні кого́же хотя́ше, да́би єго́ чул; і не мо́же утаї́тися. | And from thence he arose, and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. And he entered into a house, and would have no man know it; and he could not be hidden. |

| жена́ же бі є́ллинська, сирофінікі́сса ро́дом; і моля́ше Єго́, да бі́са ізжене́ть із дще́ре єя́. | Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. And she besought him that he would cast forth the demon out of her daughter. |

| Ісу́с же рече́ єй: оста́ви, да пе́рвіє наси́тяться ча́да, ність бо добро́ от’я́ти хліб ча́дом і поврещи́ псом. | But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread and cast it to the dogs. |

| Она́ же отвіща́вши глаго́ла Єму́: єй, Го́споди; і́бо і пси под трапе́зою ядя́ть от крупи́ць діте́й. | But she answered and saith unto him, Yea, Lord; for even the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs. |

| І рече́ єй: за сіє́ сло́во, іди́; ізи́де біс із дще́ре твоєя́. | And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the demon is gone out of thy daughter. |

|
| І ше́дши в дом свой, обрі́те бі́са ізше́дша і дщер лежа́щу на одрі́. | And she went away unto her house, and found the demon gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed. |
|

|
| (Зач. 31) І па́ки ізше́д Ісу́с от преді́л Ти́рських і Сидо́нських, при́йде на мо́ре Галиле́йсько, между́ преді́ли Декапо́льскі. | And again he went out from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the borders of Decapolis. |

| І приведо́ша к Нему́ глу́ха і гугни́ва, і моля́ху Єго́, да возложи́ть нань ру́ку. | And they bring unto him deaf man who had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to lay his hand upon him. |

| І поє́м єго́ от наро́да єди́наго [осо́б], вложи́ пе́рсти Своя́ во у́ші єго́ і плю́нув косну́ся язи́ка єго́; | And he took him aside from the multitude privately, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spat, and touched his tongue; |

| і воззрі́в на не́бо, воздохну́ і глаго́ла єму́: єффафа́, є́же єсть разве́рзися. | and looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. |

| І а́біє разверзо́стася слу́ха єго́, і разріши́ся у́за язи́ка єго́, і глаго́лаше пра́во. | And straightaway his ears were opened, and the bond of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain. |

| І запрети́ їм, да ні кому́же пові́дять; єли́ко же їм Той запреща́ше, па́че і́злиха пропові́даху. | And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it. |

| І преі́злиха дивля́хуся, глаго́люще: до́брі все твори́ть: і глухи́я твори́ть сли́шати, і німи́я глаго́лати. | And they were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well; he maketh even the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak. |

| милосе́рдую о наро́ді, я́ко уже́ три дні присідя́ть Мні і не і́муть чесо́ я́сти; | I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: |

| і а́ще отпущу́ їх не я́дших в до́ми своя́, ослабі́ють на путі́, мно́зі бо от них іздале́ча пришли́ суть. | and if I send them away fasting to their home, they will faint on the way; for some of them are come from far. |
|

|
| І отвіща́ша Єму́ ученици́ Єго́: отку́ду сих возмо́жеть кто зді наси́тити хлі́би в пусти́ні? | And his disciples answered him, Whence shall one be able to fill these men with bread here in a desert place? |

| І вопроси́ їх: коли́ко і́мате хлі́бов? Они́ же рі́ша: седьм. | And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven. |
|

| І повелі́ наро́ду возлещи́ на землі́; і приє́м седьм хлі́бов, хвалу́ возда́в, преломи́ і дая́ше ученико́м Свої́м, да предлага́ють; і предложи́ша пред наро́дом. | And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and having given thanks, he brake, and gave to his disciples, to set before them; and they set them before the multitude. |

| І ім'я́ху ри́биць ма́ло; і [сія́] благослови́в, рече́ предложи́ти і ти́я. | And they had a few small fish: and having blessed them, he commanded to set them also before them. |
|

|
| Ядо́ша же і наси́тишася; і взя́ша ізби́тки укру́х, седьм ко́шниць. | And they ate, and were filled: and they took up, of broken pieces that remained over, seven baskets. |
|

|
| Бя́ху же я́дших я́ко чети́ре ти́сящі. І отпусти́ їх. | And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away. |
|

|
| І а́біє вліз в кора́бль со ученики́ Свої́ми, при́йде во страни́ Далмануфа́нські. | And straightaway he entered into the boat with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha. |
|

|
| (Зач. 33) І ізидо́ша фарисе́є і нача́ша стяза́тися с Ним, і́щуще от Него́ зна́менія с небесе́, іскуша́юще Єго́. | And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, trying him. |

| І воздохну́в ду́хом Свої́м, глаго́ла: что род сей зна́менія і́щеть? Амі́нь глаго́лю вам, а́ще да́сться ро́ду сему́ зна́меніє. | And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation. |

| І оста́вль їх, вліз па́ки в кора́бль, [і] і́де на он пол. | And he left them, and entering again into a boat departed to the other side. |

|
| І заби́ша ученици́ Єго́ взя́ти хлі́би і ра́зві єди́наго хлі́ба не ім'я́ху с собо́ю в кораблі́. | And they forgot to take bread; and they had not in the boat with them more than one loaf. |
|

|
| І преща́ше їм, глаго́ля: зрі́те, блюді́теся от ква́са фарисе́йська і от ква́са І́родова. | And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod. |

|
| І помишля́ху, друг ко дру́гу глаго́люще, я́ко хлі́би не і́мами. | And they reasoned one with another, saying, We have no bread. |
|

|
| І разумі́в Ісу́с, глаго́ла їм: что помишля́єте, я́ко хлі́би не і́мате? Не у ли чу́вствуєте, ніже́ разумі́єте? Єще́ ли окамене́но се́рдце ва́ше і́мате? | And Jesus perceiving it saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? do ye not yet perceive, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened? |

| О́чі іму́ще не ви́діте? І у́ші іму́ще не сли́шите? І не по́мните ли, | Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember? |

| єгда́ п'ять хлі́би преломи́х в п'ять ти́сящ, коли́ко кош іспо́лнь укру́х прия́сте? Глаго́лаша Єму́: двана́десять. | When I brake the five loaves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve. |

| Єгда́ же седьм в чети́ре ти́сящі, коли́ко ко́шниць ісполне́нія укру́х взя́сте? Они́ же рі́ша: седьм. | And when the seven among the four thousand, how many basketfuls of broken pieces took ye up? And they said, Seven. |

| І глаго́ла їм: ка́ко не разумі́єте? | And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand? |

| (Зач. 34) І при́йде в Вифсаї́ду; і приведо́ша к Нему́ слі́па, і моля́ху Єго́, да єго́ ко́снеться. | And he cometh unto Bethsaida. And they bring to him a blind man, and beseech him to touch him. |

| І єм за ру́ку сліпа́го, ізведе́ єго́ вон із ве́сі; і плю́нув на о́чі єго́, [і] возло́жь ру́ці нань, вопроша́ше єго́, а́ще что ви́дить? | And he took hold of the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the village; and when he had spit on his eyes, and laid his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw aught. |

| І воззрі́в глаго́лаше: ви́жу челові́ки я́ко дре́віє ходя́щя. | And he looked up, and said, I see men; for I behold them as trees, walking. |

| Пото́м [же] па́ки возложи́ ру́ці на о́чі єго́ і сотвори́ єго́ прозрі́ти; і утвори́ся, [і ісцілі́] і узрі́ сві́тло все. | Then again he laid his hands upon his eyes; and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw them all clearly. |

| І посла́ єго́ в дом єго́, глаго́ля: ні в весь вни́ди, ні пові́ждь кому́ в ве́сі. | And he sent him away to his home, saying, Neither enter into the village, nor tell it to anyone in the village. |

| (Зач. 35) І ізи́де Ісу́с і ученици́ Єго́ в ве́сі Кесарі́ї Фили́ппові; і на путі́ вопроша́ше ученики́ Своя́ Глаго́ля їм: кого́ М'я глаго́лють челові́ци би́ти? | And Jesus went forth, and his disciples, into the villages of Caesarea Philippi: and on the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Who do men say that I am? |

| І нача́т учи́ти їх, я́ко подоба́єть Си́ну Челові́чеському мно́го пострада́ти, і іскуше́ну би́ти от ста́рець, і архієре́й, і кни́жник, і убіє́ну би́ти, і в тре́тій день воскре́снути. | And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. |

| І не обину́яся сло́во глаго́лаше. І приє́м Єго́ Петр, нача́т прети́ти Єму́. | And he spake the saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him. |

| Он же обра́щся і воззрі́в на ученики́ Своя́, запрети́ Петро́ві, глаго́ля: іди́ за Мно́ю, сатано́; я́ко не ми́слиши, я́же [суть] Бо́жія, но я́же челові́чеська. | But he turning about, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan; for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men. |

| І призва́в наро́ди со ученики́ Свої́ми, рече́ їм: (Зач. 37) і́же хо́щеть по Мні іти́, да отве́ржеться себе́, і во́зьметь крест свой, і по Мні гряде́ть; | And he called unto him the multitude with his disciples, and said unto them, Whosoever will follow after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. |

| і́же бо а́ще хо́щеть ду́шу свою́ спасти́, погуби́ть ю, а і́же погуби́ть ду́шу свою́ Мене́ ра́ди і Єва́нгелія, той спасе́ть ю; | For whosoever would save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his own life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. |

| ка́я бо по́льза челові́ку, а́ще приобря́щеть мир весь і отщети́ть ду́шу свою́? | For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and forfeit his life? |

| іли́ что дасть челові́к ізмі́ну на душі́ своє́й? | Or what shall a man give in exchange for his life? |

|
| І́же бо а́ще постиди́ться Мене́ і Мої́х слове́с в ро́ді сем прелюбоді́йнім і грі́шнім, і Син Челові́чеський постиди́ться єго́, єгда́ при́йдеть во сла́ві Отця́ Своєго́ со А́нгели святи́ми. | For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man also shall be ashamed of him, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. |

| І глаго́лаше їм: амі́нь глаго́лю вам, я́ко суть ні́ції от зді стоя́щих, і́же не і́муть вкуси́ти сме́рти, до́ндеже ви́дять Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє прише́дшеє в си́лі. | And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There are some of them that stand here, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power. |

| (Зач. 38) І по шести́ днех поя́т Ісу́с Петра́ і Іа́кова і Іоа́нна, і возведе́ їх на гору́ високу́ осо́б єди́ни; і преобрази́ся пред ни́ми. | And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them; |

| І ри́зи Єго́ би́ша блеща́щяся, біли́ зіло́, я́ко сніг, яці́хже не мо́жеть біли́льник убіли́ти на землі́. | and his garments became glistering, exceeding white as snow, so as no fuller on earth can whiten them. |

| І яви́ся їм Ілія́ с Моїсе́єм; і бі́ста со Ісу́сом глаго́люща. | And there appeared unto them Elijah with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus. |
|

|
| І отвіща́в Петр глаго́ла Ісу́сові: Равві́, добро́ єсть нам зді би́ти; і сотвори́м кро́ви три, Тебі́ єди́н, і Моїсе́єві єди́н, і Ілії́ єди́н. | And Peter answereth and saith to Jesus, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah. |

| Не ві́дяше бо, что ріщи́, бя́ху бо пристра́шні. | For he knew not what he should say; for they were sore afraid. |
|

|
| І бисть о́блак осіня́я їх; і при́йде глас із о́блака, глаго́ля: Сей єсть Син Мой возлю́бленний, Того́ послу́шайте. | And there came a cloud overshadowing them: and there came a voice out of the cloud, This is my beloved Son: hear ye him. |

| І внеза́пу воззрі́вше, ктому́ ні кого́же ви́діша, то́кмо Ісу́са єди́наго с собо́ю. | And suddenly looking round about, they saw no one anymore, but Jesus only with themselves. |
|

|
| Сходя́щим же їм с гори́, запрети́ їм, да ні кому́же пові́дять, я́же ви́діша, то́кмо єгда́ Син Челові́чеський із ме́ртвих воскре́снеть. | And as they were coming down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, save when the Son of man should have risen again from the dead. |

| (Зач. 39) І сло́во удержа́ша в себі́, стяза́ющеся, что єсть, є́же із ме́ртвих воскре́снути. | And they kept the saying, questioning among themselves what the rising again from the dead should mean. |

| І вопроша́ху Єго́ глаго́люще: ка́ко глаго́лють кни́жници, я́ко Ілії́ подоба́єть прийти́ пре́жде? | And they asked him, saying, How is it that the scribes say that Elijah must first come? |

| Он же отвіща́в рече́ їм: Ілія́ у́бо прише́д пре́жде, устро́їть вся; і ка́ко єсть пи́сано о Си́ні Челові́честім, да мно́го постра́ждеть і унічиже́н бу́деть; | And he answered and said unto them, Elijah indeed cometh first, and restoreth all things: and how is it written of the Son of man, that he should suffer many things and be set at nought? |

| но глаго́лю вам, я́ко і Ілія́ при́йде, і сотвори́ша єму́, єли́ка хоті́ша, я́коже єсть пи́сано о нем. | But I say unto you, that Elijah is come, and they have also done unto him whatsoever they would, even as it is written of him. |

| І прише́д ко ученико́м, ви́ді наро́д мног о них [о́крест їх] і кни́жники стяза́ющяся с ни́ми. | And when he came to the disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and scribes questioning with them. |

|
| І а́біє весь наро́д ви́дів Єго́ ужасе́ся, і прири́щуще цілова́ху Єго́. | And straightaway all the multitude, when they saw him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him. |
|

|
| І вопроси́ кни́жники: что стяза́єтеся к себі́ [с ни́ми]? | And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them? |
|

|
| (Зач. 40) І отвіща́в єди́н от наро́да рече́: Учи́телю, приведо́х си́на моєго́ к Тебі́, іму́ща ду́ха ні́ма; | And one of the multitude answered and said, Teacher, I brought unto thee my son, who hath a dumb spirit; |

| і іді́же коли́ждо і́меть єго́, разбива́єть єго́, і пі́ни тещи́ть, і скреже́щеть зуби́ свої́ми, і оціпеніва́єть; і ріх ученико́м Твої́м, да ізжену́ть єго́, і не возмого́ша. | and wheresoever it taketh him, it dasheth him down: and he foameth, and grindeth his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast it out; and they were not able. |

| Он же отвіща́в єму́ глаго́ла: о, ро́де неві́рен, доко́лі в вас бу́ду? Доко́лі терплю́ ви? Приведі́те єго́ ко Мні. | And he answereth him and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I bear with you? bring him unto me. |

| І привідо́ша єго́ к Нему́. І ви́дів Єго́, а́біє дух стрясе́ єго́; і пад на землі́, валя́шеся, пі́ни тещя́. | And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightaway the spirit tare him grievously; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. |

| І вопроси́ отця́ єго́: коли́ко літ єсть, отне́ліже сіє́ бисть єму́? Он же рече́: ізді́тська: | And he asked his father, How long a time is it since this hath come unto him? And he said, From a child. |

| і мно́гажди во огнь вве́рже єго́ і в во́ди, да погуби́ть єго́; но а́ще что мо́жеши, помози́ нам, милосе́рдовав о нас. | And ofttimes it hath cast him both into the fire and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do anything, have compassion on us, and help us. |

| Ісу́с же рече́ єму́: є́же а́ще что мо́жеши ві́ровати, вся возмо́жна ві́рующему. | And Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. |

| І а́біє возопи́в оте́ць отроча́те, со слеза́ми глаго́лаше: ві́рую, Го́споди! Помози́ моєму́ неві́рію. | And straightaway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, I believe, Lord; help thou mine unbelief. |

| Ви́дів же Ісу́с, я́ко сри́щеться наро́д, запрети́ ду́ху нечи́стому, глаго́ля єму́: ду́ше німи́й і глухи́й, Аз ті повілева́ю: ізи́ди із него́ і ктому́ не вни́ди в него́. | And when Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I command thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. |

| І возопи́в і мно́го пружа́вся, ізи́де; і бисть я́ко мертв, я́коже мно́зім глаго́лати, я́ко у́мре. | And having cried out, and torn him much, he came out: and the boy became as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead. |

| Ісу́с же єм єго́ за ру́ку, воздви́же єго́; і воста́. | But Jesus took him by the hand, and raised him up; and he arose. |

|
| І вше́дшу Єму́ в дом, ученици́ Єго́ вопроша́ху Єго́ єди́наго: я́ко ми не возмого́хом ізгна́ти єго́? | And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, How is it that we could not cast it out? |

|
| І рече́ їм: сей род нічи́мже мо́жеть ізи́ти, то́кмо моли́твою і посто́м. | And he said unto them, This kind can come out by nothing, save by prayer and fasting. |
|

|
| І отту́ду ізше́дше, ідя́ху сквозі́ Галіле́ю; і не хотя́ше, да кто уві́сть. | And they went forth from thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it. |

| Уча́ше бо ученики́ Своя́ і глаго́лаше їм, я́ко Син Челові́чеський пре́дан бу́деть в ру́ці челові́чєсті, і убію́ть Єго́; і убіє́н бив, в тре́тій день воскре́снеть. | For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered up into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after he is killed, he shall rise again the third day. |

| Они́ же не разуміва́ху глаго́ла і боя́хуся Єго́ вопроси́ти. | But they understood not the saying, and were afraid to ask him. |

| (Зач. 41) І при́йде в Капернау́м; і в дому́ бив, вопроша́ше їх; что на путі́ в себі́ помишля́сте? | And he came to Capernaum: and when he was in the house he asked them, What were ye reasoning among yourselves on the way? |

| Они́ же молча́ху: друг ко дру́гу бо стяза́шася на путі́, кто [єсть] бо́лій. | But they held their peace: for they had disputed one with another on the way, who was the greatest. |

| І сід пригласи́ обана́десяте і глаго́ла їм: а́ще кто хо́щеть ста́рій би́ти, да бу́деть всіх ме́нший і всім слуга́. | And he sat down, and called the twelve; and he saith unto them, If any man would be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all. |

| І прийм отроча́, поста́ви є посреді́ їх; і об'є́м є, рече́ їм: | And he took a little child, and set him in the midst of them: and taking him in his arms, he said unto them, |

| і́же а́ще єди́но такови́х отроча́т при́йметь во і́м'я Моє́, Мене́ приє́млеть; і і́же Мене́ приє́млеть, не Мене́ приє́млеть, но Посла́вшаго М'я. | Whosoever shall receive one of such little children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me. |

| Отвіща́ єму́ Іоа́нн, глаго́ля: Учи́телю, ви́діхом ні́коєго і́менем Твої́м ізгоня́ща бі́си, і́же не хо́дить по нас; і возбрани́хом єму́, я́ко не послі́дуєть нам. | And John answered him, saying, Teacher, we saw one casting out demons in thy name, who followeth not us; and we forbade him, because he followeth not us. |

| (Зач. 42) І і́же а́ще соблазни́ть єди́наго от ма́лих сих ві́рующих в М'я, до́бріє єсть єму́ па́че, а́ще обліжи́ть ка́мень же́рновний о ви́ї єго́ і вве́ржен бу́деть в мо́ре. | And whosoever shall cause one of the little ones that believe on me to stumble, it were better for him if a millstone were hung about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. |

| Добро́ соль: а́ще же соль не слана́ бу́деть, чим осоли́ться? Імі́йте соль в себі́, і мир імі́йте между́ собо́ю. | Salt is good: but if the salt have lost its saltiness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace one with another. |

| І отту́ду воста́в пре́йде в преді́ли Іуде́йськія, [чрез страну́ я́же] об он пол Іорда́на. І снидо́шася па́ки наро́ди к Нему́, і я́ко оби́чай імі́, па́ки уча́ше їх. | And he arose from thence, and cometh into the borders of Judea by the other side of the Jordan: and multitudes come together unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again. |

| (Зач. 43) І присту́пльше фарисе́є вопроси́ша Єго́: а́ще досто́їть му́жу жену́ пусти́ти? Іскуша́юще Єго́. | And there came unto him Pharisees, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? trying him. |

| Он же отвіща́в рече́ їм: что вам запові́да Моїсе́й? | And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you? |

| Они́ же рі́ша: Моїсе́й повелі́ кни́гу распу́стную написа́ти і пусти́ти. | And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away. |

| І отвіща́в Ісу́с рече́ їм: по жестосе́рдію ва́шему написа́ вам за́повідь сію́; | And Jesus answered and said unto them, For your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment. |

| от нача́ла же созда́нія му́жа і жену́ сотвори́л я єсть Бог; | But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. |
|

|
| сего́ ра́ди оста́вить челові́к отця́ своєго́ і ма́тер | For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; |
|

|
8
|
| і приліпи́ться к жені́ своє́й, і бу́дета о́ба в плоть єди́ну; ті́мже уже́ ні́ста два, но плоть єди́на; | and the two shall become one flesh: so that they are no more two, but one flesh. |
|

|

|
| є́же у́бо Бог сочета́, челові́к да не разлуча́єть. | What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. |
|

|
| І в дому́ па́ки ученици́ Єго́ о сем вопроси́ша Єго́. | And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter. |
|

| І глаго́ла їм: (Зач. 44) і́же а́ще пу́стить жену́ свою́ і оже́ниться іно́ю, прелюби́ твори́ть на ню; | And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her: |

| і а́ще жена́ пу́стить му́жа [му́жа своєго́] і пося́гнеть за іно́го, прелюби́ твори́ть. | and if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery. |

| І приноша́ху к Нему́ ді́ти, да ко́снеться їх; ученици́ же преща́ху принося́щим. | And they were bringing unto him little children, that he should touch them: and the disciples rebuked those that brought them. |
|

|
| Ви́дів же Ісу́с негодова́ і рече́ їм: оста́віте діте́й приходи́ти ко Мні і не брані́те їм, таці́х бо єсть Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє; | But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me; forbid them not: for to such belongeth the kingdom of God. |

| амі́нь глаго́лю вам: і́же а́ще не при́йметь Ца́рствія Бо́жия, я́ко отроча́, не і́мать вни́ти в не. | Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no wise enter therein. |

| І об'є́м їх, возло́ж ру́ці на них, благословля́ше їх. | And he took them in his arms, laid his hands upon them, and blessed them. |

|
| (Зач. 45) І ісходя́щу Єму́ на путь, прите́к ні́кий і покло́нься на колі́ну Єму́, вопроша́ше Єго́: Учи́телю благи́й, что сотворю́, да живо́т ві́чний наслі́дствую? | And as he was going forth into the way, there ran one to him, and knelt to him, and asked him, Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? |

| Ісу́с же рече́ єму́: что М'я глаго́леши бла́га? Нікто́же благ, то́кмо єди́н Бог. | And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good save one, even God. |

| За́повіді ві́си: не прелюби́ сотвори́ши, не убі́й, не укра́ди, не лжесвиді́тельствуй, не оби́ди, чти отця́ твоєго́ і ма́тер. | Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor thy father and mother. |

| Он же отвіща́в рече́ Єму́: Учи́телю, сія́ вся сохрани́х от ю́ности моєя́. | And he answered and said unto him, Teacher, all these things have I observed from my youth. |

| Ісу́с же воззрі́в нань, возлюби́ єго́ і рече́ єму́: єди́наго єси́ не доконча́л: іди́, єли́ка і́маши, прода́ждь і даждь ни́щим, і імі́ти і́маши сокро́вище на небесі́; і прийди́ [і] ходи́ вслід Мене́, взем крест. | And Jesus looking upon him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me, taking up the cross. |

| Он же дряхл бив о словесі́ [о словесі́ сем], оти́де скорб'я́, бі бо імі́я стяжа́нія мно́га. | But his countenance fell at the saying, and he went away sorrowful: for he was one that had great possessions. |

| І воззрі́в Ісу́с глаго́ла ученико́м Свої́м: (Зач. 46) ка́ко неудо́б іму́щії бога́тство в Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє вни́дуть. | And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! |

| Ученици́ же ужаса́хуся о словесі́х Єго́. Ісу́с же па́ки отвіща́в глаго́ла їм: ча́да, ка́ко неудо́б упова́ющим на бога́тство в Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє вни́ти! | And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! |

| Удо́біє бо єсть вельбу́ду сквозі́ іглині́ у́ші пройти́, не́же бога́ту в Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє вни́ти. | It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. |

| Они́ же і́злиха дивля́хуся, глаго́люще к себі́: то кто мо́жеть спасе́н би́ти? | And they were astonished exceedingly, saying among themselves, Then who can be saved? |

| Воззрі́в же на них Ісу́с глаго́ла: у челові́к невозмо́жно, но не у Бо́га, вся бо возмо́жна суть у Бо́га. | And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for all things are possible with God. |

| Нача́т же Петр глаго́лати Єму́: се, ми оста́вихом вся і вслід Тебе́ ідо́хом. | Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee. |

| Отвіща́в же Ісу́с рече́: амі́нь глаго́лю вам: нікто́же єсть, і́же оста́вил єсть дом, іли́ бра́тію, іли́ сестри́, іли́ отця́, іли́ ма́тер, іли́ жену́, іли́ ча́да, іли́ се́ла, Мене́ ра́ди і Єва́нгелія ра́ди; | Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and for the gospel’s sake, |

| а́ще не при́йметь стори́цею ни́ні во вре́м'я сіє́, домо́в, і бра́тій, і сестр, і отця́, і ма́тере, і чад, і сел, во ізгна́нії, і в вік гряду́щий живо́т ві́чний; | but he shall receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. |

| мно́зі же бу́дуть пе́рвії послі́дні, і послі́днії пе́рві. | But many that are first shall be last; and the last first. |

(Зач. 47) І поє́м па́ки обана́десять, нача́т їм глаго́лати, я́же хотя́ху Єму́ би́ти; | And they were on the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was going before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them the things that were to happen unto him, |

| я́ко, се, восхо́дим во Ієрусали́м, і Син Челові́чеський пре́дан бу́деть архієре́йом і кни́жником, і осу́дять Єго́ на смерть, і предадя́ть Єго́ язи́ком; | saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests and scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him unto the Gentiles: |

| і поруга́ються Єму́, і уя́зв'ять Єго́, і оплю́ють Єго́, і убію́ть Єго́; і в тре́тій день воскре́снеть. | and they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him; and the third day he shall rise again. |

| І пред Него́ прийдо́ста Іа́ков і Іоа́нн, си́на Зеведе́єва, глаго́люща: Учи́телю, хо́щева, да, є́же а́ще про́сива, сотвори́ши на́ма. | And there come near unto him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying, Teacher, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall ask. |

| Он же рече́ ї́ма: что хо́щета, да сотворю́ ва́ма? | And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? |

| О́на же рі́ста Єму́: даждь нам, да єди́н о десну́ю Тебе́ і єди́н о шу́юю Тебе́ ся́дева во сла́ві Твоє́й. | And they said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left hand, in thy glory. |

| Ісу́с же рече́ ї́ма: не ві́ста, чесо́ про́сита; мо́жета ли пи́ти ча́шу, ю́же Аз пію́, і креще́нієм, і́мже Аз кре́ща́юся, крести́тися? | But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup that I drink? and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? |

| О́на же рі́ста Єму́: мо́жева. Ісу́с же рече́ ї́ма: ча́шу у́бо, ю́же Аз пію́, іспіє́та, і креще́нієм, і́мже Аз кре́ща́юся, крести́тася; | And they said unto him, We are able. And Jesus said unto them, The cup that I drink indeed ye shall drink; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized: |

| а є́же сі́сти о десну́ю Мене́ і о шу́юю, ність Мні да́ти, но ї́мже угото́вано єсть. | but to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it is for them for whom it hath been prepared. |

| І сли́шавше де́сять, нача́ша негодова́ти о Іа́кові і Іоа́нні. | And when the ten heard it, they began to be moved with indignation concerning James and John. |
|

|

|
| Ісу́с же призва́в їх, глаго́ла їм: ві́сте, я́ко мня́щіїся владі́ти язи́ки, соодоліва́ють їм, і вели́ції їх облада́ють ї́ми; | But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they who are accounted to rule over the Gentiles lord it over them; and their great ones exercise authority over them. |

| не та́ко же бу́деть в вас: но і́же а́ще хо́щеть в вас в'я́щший би́ти, да бу́деть вам слуга́; | But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever would become great among you, shall be your minister; |

| і і́же а́ще хо́щеть в вас би́ти ста́рій, да бу́деть всім раб; | and whosoever would become first among you, shall be servant of all. |
|

|

|
| і́бо Син Челові́чь не при́йде, да послу́жать Єму́, но да послу́жить і дасть ду́шу Свою́ ізбавле́ніє за мно́гі. | For the Son of man also came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. |
|

|
| (Зач. 48) І прийдо́ша во Ієрихо́н. І ісходя́щу Єму́ от Ієрихо́на, і ученико́м Єго́, і наро́ду мно́гу, син Тиме́йов Варти́мей, сліпи́й, сідя́ше при путі́, прося́. | And they come to Jericho: and as he went out from Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, a son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus the blind man, was sitting by the wayside begging. |

| І сли́шав, я́ко Ісу́с Назоряни́н єсть, нача́т зва́ти і глаго́лати: Си́не Дави́дов Ісу́се, поми́луй м'я. | And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Son of David, Jesus, have mercy on me. |

| І преща́ху єму́ мно́зі, да умолчи́ть, он же мно́жає па́че зва́ше: Си́не Дави́дов, поми́луй м'я. | And many rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried out the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. |

| І став Ісу́с, рече́ єго́ возгласи́ти. І возгласи́ша сліпця́, глаго́люще єму́: дерза́й, воста́ни, зове́ть тя. | And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good cheer: rise, he calleth thee. |

| Он же отве́рг ри́зи своя́, воста́в при́йде ко Ісу́сові. | And he, casting away his garment, rose up, and came to Jesus. |

| (Зач. 49) І єгда́ прибли́жи[ша]ся во Ієрусали́м, в Вифсфагі́ю і Вифа́нію, к горі́ Єлео́нстій, посла́ два от учени́к Свої́х | And when they draw nigh unto Jerusalem, unto Bethsphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth two of his disciples, |

| і глаго́ла ї́ма: іді́та в весь, я́же єсть пря́мо ва́ма; і а́біє входя́ща в ню, обря́щета жреб'я́ прив'я́зано, на не́же нікто́же от челові́к всі́де; отрі́шша є, приведі́та; | and saith unto them, Go your way into the village that is over against you: and straightaway as ye enter into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon no man hath ever sat; loose him, and bring him. |

| і а́ще кто ва́ма рече́ть: что твори́та сіє́? Рци́та, я́ко Госпо́дь тре́буєть є; і а́біє по́слеть є сі́мо. | And if anyone say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightaway he will send him hither. |

| Ідо́ста же, і обріто́ста жреб'я́ прив'я́зано при две́рех вні на распу́тії, і отріши́ста є. | And they went away, and found a colt tied at the door without in the open street; and they loose him. |

| І ні́ції от стоя́щих ту глаго́лаху ї́ма: что ді́єта отріша́юща жреб'я́? | And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? |
|

|
| О́на же рі́ста їм, я́коже запові́да ї́ма Ісу́с, і оста́виша я. | And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go. |
|

|
| І приведо́ста жреб'я́ ко Ісу́сові, і возложи́ша на не ри́зи своя́, і всі́де на не. | And they brought the colt unto Jesus, and cast on him their garments; and he sat upon him. |
|

|
8
|
| Мно́зі же ри́зи своя́ постла́ша по путі́; друзі́ї же ва́їя рі́заху от дре́вія і постила́ху по путі́. | And many spread their garments upon the way; and others cut branches from the trees, and spread them in the way. |

|
| І предходя́щії і вслід гряду́щії вопія́ху, глаго́люще: оса́нна, благослове́н Гряди́й во і́м'я Госпо́днє! | And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: |

|
| Благослове́нно гряду́щеє Ца́рство во і́м'я Го́спода отця́ на́шего Дави́да! Оса́нна в ви́шніх! | Blessed is the kingdom of our father David, That cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest. |

| (Зач. 50) І вни́де во Ієрусали́м Ісу́с і в це́рков; і согля́дав вся, по́зді уже́ су́щу часу́, ізи́де в Вифа́нію со обімана́десяте. | And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple; and when he had looked round about upon all things, it being now eventide, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve. |

| І нау́тріє ізше́дшим їм от Вифа́нії, взалка́; | And on the morrow, when they were come out from Bethany, he hungered. |

| і ви́дів смоко́вницю іздале́ча, іму́щу ли́ствіє, при́йде, а́ще у́бо что обря́щеть на ней; і прише́д к ней, нічесо́же обрі́те, то́кмо ли́ствіє; не у бо бі вре́м'я смо́квам. | And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs. |

| І отвіща́в Ісу́с рече́ єй: да не ктому́ от тебе́ во ві́ки нікто́же плода́ сність. І сли́шаху ученици́ Єго́. | And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit from thee henceforward forever. And his disciples heard it. |

|
| І прийдо́ша (па́ки) во Ієрусали́м. І вшед Ісу́с в це́рков, нача́т ізгони́ти продаю́щия і купу́ющия в це́ркві; і трапе́зи торжнико́м і сіда́лища продаю́щих го́луби іспрове́рже; | And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus entered into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold the doves; |

| і не дая́ше, да кто мимонесе́ть сосу́д сквозі́ це́рков. | and he would not suffer that any man should carry a vessel through the temple. |

|
| І уча́ше, глаго́ля їм: ність ли пи́сано, я́ко храм Мой храм моли́тви нарече́ться всім язи́ком? Ви же сотвори́сте єго́ верте́п разбо́йником. | And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but ye have made it a den of robbers. |

| І сли́шаша кни́жници і архієре́є, і іска́ху, ка́ко Єго́ погуб'я́т; боя́хубося Єго́, я́ко весь наро́д дивля́шеся о уче́ніії Єго́. | And the scribes and the chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the multitude was astonished at his teaching. |

| І я́ко по́зді бисть, ісхожда́ше вон із гра́да. | And when even was come, he went forth out of the city. |

A man planted a vineyard, and set a hedge about it, and dug a pit for the winepress, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into another country. |

| І посла́ к тяжа́телем во вре́м'я раба́, да от тяжа́тель при́йметь от плода́ виногра́да; | And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard. |

| Что у́бо сотвори́ть госпо́дь виногра́да? При́йдеть і погуби́ть тяжа́телі і дасть виногра́д іні́м. | What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others. |

Да́ми ли, іли́ не да́ми? | And when they were come, they say unto him, Teacher, we know that thou art true, and carest not for anyone; for thou regardest not the person of men, but of a truth teachest the way of God: Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? Shall we give, or shall we not give? |

| пояда́юще до́ми вдови́ць і непщева́нієм надо́лзі моля́щеся, сі́ї при́ймуть ли́шшеє осужде́ніє. | they that devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers; these shall receive greater condemnation. |

| І сід Ісу́с пря́мо сокро́вищному храни́лищу, зря́ше, ка́ко наро́д ме́щеть мідь в сокро́вищноє храни́лище. І мно́зі бога́тії вмета́ху мно́га. | And Jesus sat down over against the treasury, and beheld how the multitude cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. |

| І прише́дши єди́на вдови́ця убо́га, вве́рже ле́пті дві, є́же єсть кодра́нт. | And there came a poor widow, and she cast in two mites, which make a penny. |

| І отвіща́в Ісу́с рече́ єму́: ви́диши ли сія́ вели́кая зда́нія? Не і́мать оста́ти зді ка́мень на ка́мені, і́же не разори́ться. | And Jesus answered and said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, which shall not be thrown down. |

| рци нам, когда́ сія́ бу́дуть? І ко́є [бу́деть] зна́меніє, єгда́ і́муть вся сія́ сконча́тися? | Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished? |

| Ісу́с же отвіща́в їм, нача́т глаго́лати: блюді́теся, да не кто вас прельсти́ть. | And Jesus answered them and began to say, Take heed that no man lead you astray. |

| Мно́зі бо при́йдуть во і́м'я Моє́, глаго́люще, я́ко Аз єсьм; і мно́гі прельстя́ть. | For many shall come in my name, saying, I am he; and shall lead many astray. |

| Єгда́ же усли́шите бра́ні і сли́шанія бра́нем, не ужаса́йтеся: подоба́єть бо би́ти; но не у кончи́на. | And when ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be not troubled: for these things must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet. |

| Воста́неть бо язи́к на язи́к, і ца́рство на ца́рство; і бу́дуть тру́си по мі́стом, і бу́дуть гла́ди і м'яте́жі. Нача́ло болі́знем сія́. | For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be earthquakes in diverse places; and there shall be famines and troubles: these things are the beginnings of travail. |

| (Зач. 59) Блюді́теся же ви са́мі; предадя́ть бо ви в со́нмища, і на собо́рищих біє́ні бу́дете; і пред воєво́ди і царі́ веде́ні бу́дете Мене́ ра́ди, во свиді́тельство їм. | But take ye heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in synagogues shall ye be beaten; and before governors and kings shall ye stand for my sake, for a testimony unto them. |

| І во всіх язи́ціх подоба́єть пре́жде пропові́датися Єва́нгелію. | And the gospel must first be preached unto all the nations. |

| Єгда́ же поведу́ть ви предаю́ще, не пре́жде пеці́теся, что возглаго́лете, ні поуча́йтеся; но є́же а́ще да́сться вам в той час, се глаго́літе, не ви бо бу́дете глаго́лющії, но Дух Святи́й. | But when they shall lead you to judgment, and deliver you up, be not anxious beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye; for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit. |

| Преда́сть же брат бра́та на смерть, і оте́ць ча́до; і воста́нуть ча́да на роди́телі і убію́ть їх. | And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child; and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death. |

| І бу́дете ненави́дими всі́ми і́мене Моєго́ ра́ди; претерпі́вий же до конця́, той спасе́н бу́деть. | And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. |

| (Зач. 60) Єгда́ же у́зрите ме́рзость запусті́нія, рече́нную данії́лом проро́ком, стоя́щу, іді́же не подоба́єть, чтий да разумі́єть, тогда́ су́щії во Іуде́ї да біжа́ть на го́ри; | But when ye see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where he ought not (let him that readeth understand), then let them that are in Judea flee unto the mountains: |

| і і́же на селі́ сий, да не возврати́ться всп'ять взя́ти ри́зу свою́. | and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak. |

| Го́ре же непра́здним і доя́щим в ти́я дні. | But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! |

| Молі́теся же, да не бу́деть бі́гство ва́ше в зимі́. | And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. |

|
| Бу́дуть бо дні́є ті́ї скорб, якова́ не бисть такова́ от нача́ла созда́нія, є́же созда́ Бог, дони́ні, і не бу́деть. | For those days shall be tribulation, such as there hath not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never shall be. |

| І а́ще не би Госпо́дь прекрати́л дній, не би у́бо спасла́ся вся́ка плоть; но ізбра́нних ра́ди, ї́хже ізбра́, прекрати́ть дні. | And except the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom he chose, he shortened the days. |

| Тогда́ а́ще кто рече́ть вам: се, зді Христо́с, іли́: се, о́нді, — не імі́те ві́ри. | And then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is the Christ; or, Lo, there; believe it not: |

| Воста́нут бо лжехри́сти і лжепроро́ци і дадя́ть зна́менія і чудеса́, є́же прельсти́ти, а́ще возмо́жно, і ізбра́нния. | for there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, even the elect. |

| (Зач. 61) Но в ти́я дні, по ско́рбі той, со́лнце поме́ркнеть, і луна́ не дасть сві́та своєго́, | But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, |

| і зві́зди бу́дуть с небесе́ спа́дающя, і си́ли, я́же на небесі́х, подви́жуться. | and the stars of heaven shall be falling, and the powers that are in the heavens shall be shaken. |

| І тогда́ у́зрять Си́на Челові́чеськаго гряду́ща на о́блаціх с си́лою і сла́вою мно́гою. | And then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory. |

| От смоко́вниці же научі́теся при́тчі: єгда́ уже́ ві́твіє єя́ бу́деть мла́до і ізраща́єть ли́ствіє, ві́діте, я́ко близ єсть жа́тва; | Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh; |

| та́ко і ви, єгда́ сія́ ви́діте бива́юща, ві́діте, я́ко близ єсть, при две́рех. | even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that he is nigh, even at the doors. |

| Амі́нь глаго́лю вам, я́ко не і́мать прейти́ род сей, до́ндеже вся сія́ бу́дуть. | Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, until all these things be accomplished. |

| (Зач. 62) Не́бо і земля́ пре́йдуть, словеса́ же Моя́ не пре́йдуть. | Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. |

| О дні же том іли́ о часі́ нікто́же вість, ні а́нгели, і́же суть на небесі́х, ні Син, то́кмо Оте́ць. | But of that day or hour knoweth no one, not even the angels that are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. |

| Блюді́те, бді́те і молі́теся: не ві́сте бо, когда́ вре́м'я бу́деть. | Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. |

| Я́коже челові́к отходя́ оста́вль дом свой, і дав рабо́м свої́м власть, і кому́ждо ді́ло своє́, і вратарю́ повелі́, да бдить. | It is as when a man, sojourning in another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, and to each one his work, commanded also the porter to watch. |

| Бі же Па́сха і оприсно́ці по двою́ дні́ю; і іска́ху архієре́є і кни́жници, ка́ко Єго́ ле́стію є́мше убію́ть; | Now after two days was the feast of the passover and the unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him with subtlety, and kill him: |

| глаго́лаху же: (но) не в пра́здник, єда́ [да не] ка́ко молва́ бу́деть лю́дська. | but they said, Not during the feast, lest haply there shall be a tumult of the people. |

| (Зач. 63) І су́щу Єму́ в Вифа́нії, в дому́ Си́мона прокаже́ннаго, возлежа́щу Єму́, при́йде жена́, іму́щи алава́стр ми́ра на́рднаго пистикі́я многоці́нна; і сокру́шши алава́стр, возлива́ше Єму́ на главу́. | And while he was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster cruse of ointment of pure nard very costly; and she brake the cruse, and poured it over his head. |

| Бя́ху же ні́ції негоду́юще в себі́ і глаго́люще: почто́ ги́бель сія́ ми́рная бисть? | But there were some that had indignation among themselves, and saying, To what purpose hath this waste of the ointment been made? |

| можа́ше бо сіє́ продано́ би́ти в'я́щше тріє́х сот пі́нязь і да́тися ни́щим. І преща́ху єй. | For this might have been sold for above three hundred denarii, and given to the poor. And they murmured against her. |
|

| Ісу́с же рече́: оста́віте ю, что єй труди́ даєте́? Добро́ ді́ло соді́ла о Мні. | But Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me. |
|

|
| Всегда́ бо ни́щия і́мате с собо́ю, і єгда́ хо́щете, мо́жете їм добро́ твори́ти; Мене́ же не всегда́ і́мате. | For ye have the poor always with you, and whensoever ye will ye can do them good: but me ye have not always. |
|

|
| Є́же імі́ [возмо́же] сія́, сотвори́: предвари́ пома́зати Моє́ ті́ло на погребе́ніє. | She hath done what she could; she hath anointed my body beforehand for the burying. |

| Амі́нь глаго́лю вам: іді́же а́ще пропові́сться Єва́нгеліє сіє́ во всем ми́рі, і є́же сотвори́ сія́, глаго́лано бу́деть в па́м'ять єя́. | Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, that also which this woman hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her. |

| І в пе́рвий день оприсно́к, єгда́ па́сху жря́ху, глаго́лаша Єму́ ученици́ Єго́: гді хо́щеши, ше́дше угото́ваем, да я́си па́сху? | And on the first day of unleavened bread, when they sacrificed the passover, his disciples say unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and make ready that thou mayest eat the passover? |

| І посла́ два от учени́к Свої́х і глаго́ла ї́ма: іді́та во град, і сря́щеть вас челові́к в скуде́льниці во́ду нося́; по нем іді́та, | And he sendeth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him; |

| і іді́же а́ще вни́деть, рці́та господи́ну до́му, я́ко Учи́тель глаго́леть: гді єсть віта́льниця, іді́же па́сху со ученики́ Мої́ми снім? | and wheresoever he shall enter in, say to the master of the house, The Teacher saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? |

| І той ва́ма пока́жеть го́рницю ве́лію, по́стлану, гото́ву; ту угото́вайта нам. | And he will himself show you a large upper room furnished and ready: there make ready for us. |

|
| І ізидо́ста ученика́ Єго́, і прийдо́ста во град, і обріто́ста, я́коже рече́ ї́ма; і угото́васта па́сху. | And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover. |

|
| І ве́черу би́вшу при́йде со обімана́десяте. | And when it was evening he cometh with the twelve. |
|

|
| І возлежа́щим їм і яду́щим, рече́ Ісу́с: амі́нь глаго́лю вам, я́ко єди́н от вас преда́сть М'я, яди́й со Мно́ю. | And as they sat and were eating, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you shall betray me, even he that eateth with me. |

| Они́ же нача́ша скорбі́ти і глаго́лати Єму́ єди́н по єди́ному: єда́ аз? І други́й: єда́ аз? | And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another, Is it I? |

| Он же отвіща́в рече́ їм: єди́н от обоюна́десяте, омочи́вий со Мно́ю в соли́ло. | And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, he that dippeth with me in the dish. |

| Син у́бо Челові́чеський і́деть, я́коже єсть пи́сано о Нем: го́ре же челові́ку тому́, і́мже Син Челові́чеський преда́сться; до́бріє би́ло би єму́, а́ще не би роди́лся челові́к той. | The Son of man indeed goeth, even as it is written of him: but woe unto that man through whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had not been born. |

| І яду́щим їм, приє́м Ісу́с хліб, [і] благослови́в, преломи́ і даде́ їм, і рече́: приймі́те, яді́те, сіє́ єсть Ті́ло Моє́. | And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had blessed, he brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. |

| І приї́м ча́шу, хвалу́ возда́в, даде́ їм; і пи́ша от нея́ всі. | And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave to them: and they all drank of it. |

| І рече́ їм: сія́ єсть Кров Моя́ Но́ваго Заві́та, за мно́гі ізлива́єма; | And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many. |

| амі́нь глаго́лю вам, я́ко ктому́ не і́мам пи́ти от плода́ ло́знаго до дне того́, єгда́ є пію́ но́во во Ца́рствії Бо́жиї. | Verily I say unto you, I shall no more drink of the fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God. |

| І воспі́вше ізидо́ша в го́ру Єлео́нськую. | And when they had sung a hymn, they went out unto the mount of Olives. |

|
| І глаго́ла їм Ісу́с, я́ко всі соблазните́ся о Мні в нощ сію́, пи́сано бо єсть: поражу́ па́стиря, і рази́дуться о́вці. | And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered abroad. |

| Но пото́м, єгда́ воскре́сну, варя́ю ви в Галиле́ї. | Howbeit, after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee. |

| Петр же рече́ Єму́: а́ще і всі соблазня́ться, но не аз. | But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I. |
|

|
| І глаго́ла єму́ Ісу́с: амі́нь глаго́лю тебі́, я́ко ти днесь в нощ сію́, пре́жде да́же втори́цею пі́тель не возгласи́ть, трикра́ти отве́ржешися Мене́. | And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, that thou today, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, shalt deny me thrice. |

| Он же мно́жає глаго́лаше па́че: а́ще (же) мі єсть с Тобо́ю і умре́ти, не отве́ргуся Тебе́. Та́кожде і всі глаго́лаху. | But he spake exceeding vehemently, If I must die with thee, I will not deny thee. And in like manner also said they all. |

| І прийдо́ша в весь, є́йже і́м'я Гефсима́нія; і глаго́ла ученико́м Свої́м: сіді́те зді, до́ндеже шед помолю́ся. | And they come unto a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith unto his disciples, Sit ye here, while I pray. |

| І поя́т Петра́, і Іа́кова, і Іоа́нна с Собо́ю; і нача́т ужаса́тися і тужи́ти. | And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly amazed, and sore troubled. |

| І глаго́ла їм: приско́рбна єсть душа́ Моя́ до сме́рти; бу́діте зді і бді́те. | And he saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful even unto death: abide ye here, and watch. |

| І преше́д ма́ло, паде́ на землі́ і моля́шеся, да, а́ще возмо́жно єсть, ми́мо і́деть от Него́ час; | And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him. |

|
| і глаго́лаше: А́вва О́тче, вся возмо́жна Тебі́, ми́мо неси́ от Мене́ ча́шу сію́; но не є́же Аз хощу́, но є́же Ти. | And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; remove this cup from me: howbeit not what I will, but what thou wilt. |

| І при́йде, і обрі́те їх сп'я́щих, і глаго́ла Петро́ві: Си́моне, спи́ши ли? Не возмо́гл єси́ єди́наго часа́ побді́ти? | And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest thou not watch one hour? |

| Бді́те і молі́теся, да не вни́дете в напа́сть: дух у́бо бодр, плоть же немощна́. | Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. |

| І па́ки шед помоли́ся, то́жде сло́во рек. | And again he went away, and prayed, saying the same words. |
|

|
| І возвра́щся обрі́те я па́ки сп'я́ща; бя́ху бо очеса́ їм тя́готна, і не ві́дяху, что би́ша Єму́ отвіща́ли. | And when he returned, he found them sleeping again, for their eyes were heavy; and they knew not what to answer him. |

| І при́йде трети́цею і глаго́ла їм: спі́те про́чеє і почива́йте; приспі́ коне́ць, при́йде час: се предає́ться Син Челові́чеський в ру́ки грі́шником; | And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough; the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. |

| воста́ніте, і́дем, се предая́й М'я прибли́жися. | Arise, let us be going: behold, he that betrayeth me is at hand. |

| (Зач. 65) І а́біє, єще́ Єму́ глаго́лющу, при́йде Іу́да, єди́н сий от обоюна́десяте, і с ним наро́д мног со ору́жієм і дреко́льми, от архієре́й і кни́жник і ста́рець. | And straightaway, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, being one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders. |

| Даде́ же предая́й Єго́ зна́меніє їм, глаго́ля: Єго́же а́ще лобжу́, Той єсть; імі́те Єго́ і веді́те (Єго́) сохра́нно. | Now he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that is he; take him, and lead him away safely. |

| І прише́д, а́біє присту́пль к Нему́, глаго́ла (Єму́): Равві́, Равві́. І облобиза́ Єго́. | And when he was come, straightaway he came to him, and saith unto him, Rabbi, Rabbi; and kissed him. |

| Они́ же возложи́ша ру́ці Свої́ на Него́ і я́ша Єго́. | And they laid their hands on him, and took him. |

|
| Єди́н же ні́кто от стоя́щих ізвле́к нож, уда́ри раба́ архієре́йова і урі́за єму́ у́хо. | But a certain one of them that stood by drew his sword, and smote the servant of the high priest, and struck off his ear. |

| І отвіща́в Ісу́с рече́ їм: я́ко на разбо́йника ли ізидо́сте со ору́жієм і дреко́льми я́ти М'я? | And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a robber, with swords and staves to seize me? |

| По вся дні біх при вас в це́ркві учя́, і не я́сте Мене́; но да сбу́деться Писа́ніє. | I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but this is done that the scriptures might be fulfilled. |

| І оста́вльше Єго́, всі біжа́ша. | And they all left him, and fled. |
|

|
| І єди́н ні́кто ю́ноша і́де по Нем, оді́ян в плащани́цю по на́гу; і я́ша того́ ю́ношу. | And a certain young man followed him, having a linen cloth cast about him, over his naked body: and the young men lay hold on him; |

|
| Он же оста́вль плащани́цю, наг біжа́ от них. | but he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked. |

|
| І ведо́ша Ісу́са ко архієре́ю; і снидо́шася к нему́ всі архієре́є і кни́жници і ста́рці. | And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and there come together with him all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes. |

| І Петр іздале́ча вслід Єго́ і́де до внутр во двор архієре́ов; і бі сідя́ со слуга́ми і грі́яся при свіщі́ [при огні́]. | And Peter had followed him afar off, even within, into the court of the high priest; and he was sitting with the officers, and warming himself in the light of the fire. |

| Архієре́є же і весь сонм іска́ху на Ісу́са свиді́тельства, да умертвя́ть Єго́; і не обріта́ху. | Now the chief priests and the whole council sought witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found it not. |

| Мно́зі бо лжесвиді́тельствоваху на Него́, і ра́вна свиді́тельства не бя́ху. | For many bare false witness against him, and their witness agreed not together. |

| І ні́ції воста́вше лжесвиді́тельствоваху на Него́, глаго́люще: | And there stood up certain, and bare false witness against him, saying, |

|
| я́ко ми сли́шахом Єго́ глаго́люща, я́ко Аз разорю́ це́рков сію́ рукотворе́ную і треми́ де́ньми і́ну нерукотворе́ну сози́жду. | We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands. |

| І ні та́ко ра́вно бі свиді́тельство їх. | And not even so did their witness agree together. |

| І воста́в архієре́й посреді́, вопроси́ Ісу́са, глаго́ля: не отвіщава́єши ли нічесо́же? Что сі́ї на Тя свиді́тельствують? | And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? |

| Он же молча́ше і нічто́же отвіщава́ше. Па́ки архієре́й вопроси́ Єго́ і глаго́ла Єму́: Ти ли єси́ Христо́с, Син Благослове́ннаго? | But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and saith unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? |

| Ісу́с же рече́: Аз єсьм; і у́зрите Си́на Челові́чеськаго о десну́ю сідя́ща си́ли і гряду́ща со о́блаки небе́сними. | And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven. |

| Архієре́й же растерза́в ри́зи своя́, глаго́ла: что єще́ тре́буєм свиді́телей? | And the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What further need have we of witnesses? |

| Сли́шасте хулу́: что вам мни́ться? Они́ же всі осуди́ша Єго́ би́ти пови́нна сме́рті. | Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be worthy of death. |

| І нача́ша ні́ції плюва́ти Нань, і прикрива́ти лице́ Єго́, і му́чити Єго́, і глаго́лати Єму́: прорци́. І слуги́ по лани́тома Єго́ бія́ху. | And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the officers did strike him with the palms of their hands. |

| І су́щу Петро́ві во дворі́ ни́зу, при́йде єди́на от раби́нь архієре́йових, | And as Peter was in the court beneath, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest; |

| і ви́дівши Петра́ грі́ющася, воззрі́вши на него́, глаго́ла: і ти с Назаряни́ном Ісу́сом бил єси́. | and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and saith, Thou also wast with the Nazarene, even Jesus. |

| Он же отве́ржеся, глаго́ля: не вім, ніже́ зна́ю, что ти глаго́леши. І ізи́де вон на преддво́ріє; і але́ктор возгласи́. | But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest: and he went out into the porch; and the cock crowed. |

| І раби́ня ви́дівши єго́ па́ки, нача́т глаго́лати предстоя́щим, я́ко сей от них єсть. | And the maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them. |

| Он же па́ки отмета́шеся. І пома́лі па́ки предстоя́щії глаго́лаху Петро́ві: воі́стину от них єси́, і́бо Галиле́янин єси́, і бесі́да твоя́ подо́биться. | But he again denied it. And after a little while again they that stood by said to Peter, Of a truth thou art one of them; for thou art a Galilean, and thy speech is alike. |

| Он же нача́ роти́тися і кля́тися, я́ко не вім Челові́ка Сего́, Єго́же ви глаго́лете. | But he began to curse, and to swear, I know not this man of whom ye speak. |

| І второ́є але́ктор возгласи́. І пом'яну́ Петр глаго́л, єго́же рече́ єму́ Ісу́с, я́ко пре́жде да́же пі́тель не возгласи́ть двакра́ти, отве́ржешися Мене́ трикра́ти. І наче́н пла́кашеся. | And the second time the cock crowed. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept. |

| (Зач. 66) І а́біє нау́тріє сові́т сотвори́ша архієре́є со ста́рці і кни́жники, і весь сонм, св'яза́вше Ісу́са ведо́ша і преда́ша (Єго́) Пила́ту. | And straightaway in the morning the chief priests with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, held a consultation, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him up to Pilate. |

| І вопроси́ Єго́ Піла́т: Ти ли єси́ Цар Іуде́йський? Он же отвіща́в рече́ єму́: ти глаго́леши. | And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered and said unto him, Thou sayest. |

| І глаго́лаху на Него́ архієре́є мно́го. | And the chief priests accused him of many things. |
|

|
| Пила́т же па́ки вопроси́ Єго́, глаго́ля: не отвіщава́єши ли нічто́же? Виждь, коли́ка на Тя свиді́тельствують. | And Pilate again asked him, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee. |

| Ісу́с же ктому́ нічто́же отвіща́, я́ко диви́тися Пила́ту. | But Jesus no more answered anything; insomuch that Pilate marveled. |

| На [всяк] же пра́здник отпуща́ше їм єди́наго св'я́зня, єго́же проша́ху. | Now at the feast he used to release unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they asked of him. |

| Бі же нарица́ємий Вара́вва со ско́вники свої́ми св'я́зан, і́же в ко́ві уби́йство сотвори́ша. | And there was one called Barabbas, lying bound with them that had made insurrection with him, men who in the insurrection had committed murder. |

| І возопи́в наро́д нача́ проси́ти, я́коже всегда́ творя́ше їм. | And the multitude cried out and began to ask him to do unto them as he had always done. |

| Пила́т же отвіща́ їм, глаго́ля: хо́щете ли, пущу́ вам Царя́ Іуде́йська? | And Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews? |

| Ві́дяше бо, я́ко за́висти ра́ди преда́ша Єго́ архієре́є. | For he perceived that for envy the chief priests had delivered him up. |

| Архієре́є же поману́ша наро́ду, да па́че Вара́вву пу́стить їм. | But the chief priests stirred up the multitude, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them. |
|

|
| Пила́т же отвіща́в па́ки рече́ їм: что у́бо хо́щете сотворю́, Єго́же глаго́лете Царя́ Іуде́йська? | And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call King of the Jews? |

| Они́ же па́ки возопи́ша [глаго́люще]: пропни́ Єго́. | And they cried out again, Crucify him. |
|

| Пила́т же глаго́лаше їм: что бо зло сотвори́? Они́ же і́злиха вопія́ху: пропни́ Єго́. | And Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him. |

| Пила́т же хотя́ наро́ду хоті́ніє сотвори́ти, пусти́ їм Вара́вву, і предаде́ Ісу́са, бив, да про́пнуть Єго́. | And Pilate, wishing to content the multitude, released unto them Barabbas, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified. |

| (Зач. 67) Во́їни же ведо́ша Єго́ внутр двора́, є́же єсть прето́р; і созва́ша всю спи́ру, | And the soldiers led him away within the court, which is the Praetorium; and they call together the whole band. |

| і облеко́ша Єго́ в препря́ду, і возложи́ша на Него́ спле́тше терно́в віне́ць, | And they clothe him with purple, and plaiting a crown of thorns, they put it on him; |

|
| і нача́ша цілова́ти Єго́ [і глаго́лати]: ра́дуйся, Царю́ Іуде́йський. | and they began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews! |
|

|
| І бія́ху Єго́ по главі́ тро́стію, і плюва́ху на Него́, і прегиба́юще колі́на покланя́хуся Єму́. | And they smote his head with a reed, and spat upon him, and bowing their knees worshiped him. |
|

|

|
| І єгда́ поруга́шася Єму́, совлеко́ша с Него́ препря́ду і облеко́ша Єго́ в ри́зи Своя́; і ізведо́ша Єго́, да про́пнуть Єго́. | And when they had mocked him, they took off from him the purple, and put on him his own garments. And they lead him out to crucify him. |

| І заді́ша мимоходя́щу ні́коєму Си́мону Кирине́ю, гряду́щу с села́, отцю́ Алекса́ндрову і Ру́фову, да во́зьметь крест Єго́. | And they compel one passing by, Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to go with them, that he might bear his cross. |

| (Зач. 68) І приведо́ша Єго́ на Голго́фу мі́сто, є́же єсть сказа́ємо ло́бноє мі́сто. | And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull. |

| І дая́ху Єму́ пи́ти єсмирнісме́но вино́; Он же не прия́т. | And they gave him wine to drink mingled with myrrh: but he received it not. |
|

| І распе́ншії Єго́ разділи́ша ри́зи Єго́, мета́юще жре́бій о них, кто что во́зьметь. | And when they had crucified him, they part his garments among them, casting lots upon them, what each should take. |
|

|
| Бі же час тре́тій, і расп'я́ша Єго́. | And it was the third hour, and they crucified him. |
|

|
| І бі написа́ніє вини́ Єго́ напи́сано: Цар Іуде́йськ. | And the superscription of his accusation was written above, THE KING OF THE JEWS. |

|
| І с Ним расп'я́ша два разбо́йника, єди́наго о десну́ю і єди́наго о шу́юю Єго́. | And with him they crucify two robbers; one on his right hand, and one on his left. |
|

|
| І сби́сться Писа́ніє, є́же глаго́леть: і со беззако́нними вміни́ся. | And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was reckoned with transgressors |

|
| І мимоходя́щії ху́ляху Єго́, покива́юще глава́ми свої́ми і глаго́люще: уа́, разоря́яй це́рков і треми́ де́ньми созида́яй, | And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ha! thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, |

| спаси́ся Сам і сни́ди со креста́. | save thyself, and come down from the cross. |

|
| Та́кожде і архієре́є руга́ющеся, друг ко дру́гу с кни́жники глаго́лаху: і́ни спасе́, Себе́ ли не мо́жеть спасти́? | In like manner also the chief priests mocking him among themselves with the scribes said, He saved others; himself he cannot save. |

| Христо́с, Цар Ізра́їлев, да сни́деть ни́ні со креста́, да ви́дим і ві́ру і́мем Єму́. І расп'я́тая с Ним поноша́ста Єму́. | Let the Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reproached him. |

| Би́вшу же часу́ шесто́му, тьма бисть по всей землі́ до часа́ дев'я́таго. | And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. |

| І в час дев'я́тий возопи́ Ісу́с гла́сом ве́ліїм, глаго́ля: Єлоі́, Єлоі́, лама́ савахфані́? Є́же єсть сказа́ємо: Бо́же Мой, Бо́же Мой, почто́ М'я оста́вил єси́? | And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lima sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? |

| І ні́ції от предстоя́щих сли́шавше, глаго́лаху: се, Ілію́ гласи́ть. | And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elijah. |

| Тек же єди́н, і напо́лнив гу́бу о́цта, і возло́ж на трость, напая́ше Єго́, глаго́ля: оста́віте, да ви́дим, а́ще при́йдеть Ілія́ сня́ти Єго́. | And one ran, and filled a sponge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let be; let us see whether Elijah cometh to take him down. |

| Ісу́с же пущ глас ве́лій, і́здше. | And Jesus uttered a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. |

| І заві́са церко́вная раздра́ся на дво́є, сви́ше до ни́зу. | And the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom. |

| Ви́дів же со́тник стоя́й пря́мо Єму́, я́ко та́ко возопи́в і́здше, рече́: воі́стину Челові́к Сей Син бі Бо́жий. | And when the centurion, who stood by over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God. |

| я́же, і єгда́ бі в Галиле́ї, хожда́ху по Нем і служа́ху Єму́; і і́ни мно́гія, я́же взидо́ша с Ним во Ієрусали́м. | who also, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto him; and many other women that came up with him unto Jerusalem. |

| І уже́ по́зді би́вшу, поне́же бі п'ято́к, є́же єсть к субо́ті, | And when even was now come, because it was the Preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath, |

| (Зач. 69) при́йде Іо́сиф, і́же от Аримафе́я, благообра́зен сові́тник, і́же і той бі ча́я Ца́рствія Бо́жия, дерзну́в вни́де к Пила́ту, і проси́ тілесе́ Ісу́сова. | there came Joseph of Arimathea, a councilor of honorable estate, who also himself was looking for the kingdom of God; and he boldly went in unto Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus. |

| Пила́т же диви́ся, а́ще уже́ у́мре; і призва́в со́тника, вопроси́ єго́: а́ще уже́ у́мре? | And Pilate wondered if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead. |

| І уві́дів от со́тника, даде́ ті́ло Іо́сифові. | And when he learned it of the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph. |

| І купи́в плащани́цю і снем Єго́, обви́ть плащани́цею; і положи́ Єго́ во гроб, і́же бі ізсі́чен от ка́мене; і привали́ ка́мень над две́рі гро́ба. | And he bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb which had been hewn out of a rock; and he rolled a stone against the door of the tomb. |

| (Зач. 70) І мину́вшей субо́ті, Марі́я Магдали́на і Марі́я Іа́ковля і Саломі́я купи́ша арома́ти, да прише́дша пома́жуть Ісу́са. | And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him. |

| І зіло́ зау́тра во єди́ну от субо́т прийдо́ша на гроб, возсія́вшу со́лнцю, | And very early on the first day of the week, they come to the tomb when the sun was risen. |
|

|
| і глаго́лаху к себі́: кто отвали́ть нам ка́мень от две́рій гро́ба? | And they were saying among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the tomb? |
|

|
4
|
| І воззрі́вша ви́діша, я́ко отвале́н бі ка́мень: бі бо ве́лій зіло́. | and looking up, they see that the stone is rolled away for it was exceeding great. |
|

|
| І вше́дша во гроб, ви́діша ю́ношу сідя́ща в десни́х, оді́яна во оде́жду білу́; і ужасо́шася. | And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, arrayed in a white robe; and they were amazed. |
|

|
| Он же глаго́ла їм: не ужаса́йтеся. Ісу́са і́щете Назаряни́на расп'я́таго; воста́, ність зді; се мі́сто, іді́же положи́ша Єго́; | And he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him! |

| но іді́те, рці́те ученико́м Єго́ і Петро́ві, я́ко варя́єть ви в Галиле́ї; та́мо Єго́ ви́діте, я́коже рече́ вам. | But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you. |

| І ізше́дша біжа́ша от гро́ба; ім'я́ше [одержа́ше] же їх тре́пет і у́жас; і ні кому́же нічто́же рі́ша, боя́хубося. | And they went out, and fled from the tomb; and trembling and astonishment had come upon them: and they said nothing to anyone; for they were afraid. |

| (Зач 71) Воскре́с же (Ісу́с) зау́тра в пе́рвую субо́ту, яви́ся пре́жде Марі́ї Магдали́ні, із нея́же ізгна́ седьм бісо́в. | Now when he was risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons. |

| Она́ (же) ше́дши возвісти́ с Ним би́вшим, пла́чущимся і рида́ющим; | She went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. |
|

| і они́ сли́шавше, я́ко жив єсть і ви́дін бисть от нея́, не я́ша ві́ри. | And they, when they heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, disbelieved. |
|

|
| По сих же двіма́ от них гряду́щема яви́ся іні́м о́бразом, іду́щема на село́. | And after these things he was manifested in another form unto two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country. |
|

|
| І та ше́дша возвісти́ста про́чим; і ні ті́ма ві́ри я́ша. | And they went away and told it unto the rest: neither believed they them. |
|

|

|
| Посліди́ (же) возлежа́щим їм єдиномуна́десяте яви́ся, і поноси́ неві́рствію їх і жестосе́рдію, я́ко ви́дівшим Єго́ воста́вша не я́ша ві́ри. | Afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen. |

| І рече́ їм: ше́дше в мир весь, пропові́діте Єва́нгеліє всей тва́рі. | And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation. |
|

|
| І́же ві́ру і́меть і крести́ться, спасе́н бу́деть, а і́же не і́меть ві́ри, осужде́н бу́деть. | He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned. |
|

|
| Зна́мєнія же ві́ровавшим сія́ послі́дують: і́менем Мої́м бі́си іждену́ть; язи́ки возглаго́лють но́ви; | And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; |
|

|
18
|
| змія́ во́зьмуть; а́ще і что сме́ртно іспію́ть, не вреди́ть їх; на неду́жия ру́ки возложа́ть, і здра́ві бу́дуть. | they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. |

| Госпо́дь же у́бо, по глаго́ланії (Єго́) к ним, вознесе́ся на не́бо і сі́де о десну́ю Бо́га. | So then the Lord, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. |
|

|
| Они́ же ізше́дше пропові́даша всю́ду, Го́споду поспі́шствующу і сло́во утвержда́ющу послі́дствующими зна́меньми. Амі́нь. | And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen. |
