| По си1хъ же словесёхъ, въ цaрство ґртаxeрxа царS пeрсскагw, взhде є4здра сhнъ сарeа, сhна ґзарjева, сhна хелкjева, | Now after these things, in the reign of Arthasastha king of the Persians, came up Esdras the son of Saraias, the son of Azarias, the son of Chelcias, |

| сhна самарjева, сhна є3срjева, сhна мареHfова, | the son of Samarias, the son of Esria, the son of Mareoth, |

| сhна зараjева, сhна є3зеjева, сhна воккjева, | the son of Zaraia, the son of Ozias, the son of Bokki, |
|

|
5
|
| сhна ґвісyева, сhна фінеeсова, сhна є3леазaрова, сhна ґарHна свzщeнника пeрвагw: | the son of Abisue, the son of Phinees, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the first priest. |

| сeй є4здра взhде t вавmлHна и3 сeй писeцъ ск0ръ въ зак0нэ мwmсeовэ, є3г0же дадE гDь бGъ ї}лю. И# дадE є3мY цaрь, ћкw рукA гDа бGа є3гw2 на нeмъ бЁ во всёхъ, ±же и3скaше џнъ. | This Esdras went up out of Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel gave: and the king gave him leave, for the hand of the Lord his God was upon him in all things which he sought. |

| И# взыд0ша t сынHвъ ї}левыхъ и3 t свzщeнникwвъ и3 t леvjтwвъ, и3 пэвцы2 и3 придвє1рницы и3 наfінjми во їеrли1мъ, въ лёто седм0е ґртаxeрxа царS, | And some of the children of Israel went up, and some of the priests, and of the Levites, and the singers, and the door-keepers, and the Nathinim, to Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Arthasastha the king. |

| и3 пріид0ша во їеrли1мъ мцcа пsтагw: сіE є4сть лёто седм0е царeво: | And they came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, this was the seventh year of the king. |

| занE въ пeрвый дeнь мцcа пeрвагw т0й начA восходи1ти t вавmлHна, и3 въ пeрвый дeнь мцcа пsтагw пріид0ша во їеrли1мъ, ћкw рукA бGа є3гw2 бlгA на нeмъ бЁ: | For in the first day of the first month he began the going up from Babylon, and in the first day of the fifth month they came to Jerusalem, for the good hand of his God was upon him. |

| є4здра бо ўгот0ва сeрдце своE, да взhщетъ зак0на (гDнz) и3 да тв0ритъ и3 ўчи1тъ во ї}ли повелёніємъ и3 судбaмъ. | For Esdras had determined in his heart to seek the law, and to do and teach the ordinances and judgments in Israel. |

| И# сіE є4сть сказaніе послaніz є4же дадE цaрь ґртаxeрxъ є4здрэ свzщeннику, писцY кни1ги словeсъ зaповэдій гDнихъ и3 повелёній є3гw2 во ї}ли: | And this is the copy of the order which Arthasastha gave to Esdras the priest, the scribe of the book of the words of the commandments of the Lord, and of his ordinances to Israel. |

| ґртаxeрxъ цaрь царeй є4здрэ свzщeннику, писцY зак0на гDа бGа нбcнагw: да соверши1тсz сл0во и3 tвётъ: | Arthasastha, king of kings, to Esdras, the scribe of the law of the Lord God of heaven, Let the order and the answer be accomplished. |

| t менє2 повелёно є3сть, да кjйждо, и4же и4мать ўсeрдіе блaго во цaрствэ моeмъ t людjй ї}левыхъ и3 t свzщeнникwвъ и3 t леvjтwвъ поити2 во їеrли1мъ, съ тоб0ю да и4детъ: | A decree is made by me, that every one who is willing in my kingdom of the people of Israel, and of the priests and Levites, to go to Jerusalem, be permitted to go with thee. |

| t лицA царeва и3 седми2 совётникwвъ є3гw2 п0сланъ є3си2, да посэти1ши їудeю и3 їеrли1мъ въ зак0нэ бGа и4хъ, сyщемъ въ рукY твоє1ю, | One has been sent from the king and the seven councillors, to visit Judea and Jerusalem, according to the law of their God that is in thine hand. |

| и3 да tнесeши въ д0мъ гDень сребро2 и3 злaто, є4же цaрь и3 совBтницы є3гw2 со ўсeрдіемъ дaша бGу ї}леву, и4же во їеrли1мэ њбитaетъ, | And for the house of the Lord there have been sent silver and gold, which the king and the councillors have freely given to the God of Israel, who dwells in Jerusalem. |

| и3 всE злaто и3 сребро2, є4же ѓще њбрsщеши во всeй w4бласти вавmлHнстэй, съ добров0льнымъ даsніемъ людски1мъ и3 свzщeнникwвъ, в0лею приносsщихъ въ д0мъ б9ій, и4же во їеrли1мэ: | And all the silver and gold, whatsoever thou shalt find in all the land of Babylon, with the freewill-offering of the people, and the priests that offer freely for the house of God which is in Jerusalem. |

| и3 всsкій дох0дъ т0й ўсeрднw впиши2 въ кни1гу сію2: телцы2, nвны2, ѓгнцы, и3 жє1ртвы и4хъ и3 возлі‰ніz и4хъ: и3 принеси2 т† на nлтaрь д0му бGа вaшегw, и4же є4сть во їеrли1мэ: | And as for every one that arrives there, speedily order him by this letter to bring calves, rams, lambs, and their meat-offerings, and their drink-offerings; and thou shalt offer them on the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem. |

| и3 ѓще что2 тебЁ и3 брaтіи твоeй блaго возмни1тсz t њстaвшагwсz сребрA и3 злaта сотвори1ти, ћкоже ўг0дно бGу вaшему, сотвори1те: | And whatever it shall seem good to thee and to thy brethren to do with the rest of the silver and the gold, do as it is pleasing to your God. |

| и3 сосyды, и5же даны2 тебЁ въ слyжбу д0му б9іz, вдaждь пред8 бGомъ во їеrли1мэ: | And deliver the vessels that are given thee for the service of the house of God, before God in Jerusalem. |

| и3 пр0чыz потрє1бы д0му бGа твоегw2, є4же ѓще возмни1тсz тебЁ дaти, да дaси и3з8 домHвъ сокр0вища царeва | And as to the rest of the need of the house of thy God, thou shalt give from the king's treasure-houses, |

| и3 t менє2 ѓзъ ґртаxeрxъ цaрь ўстaвихъ повелёніе всBмъ храни1телємъ сокр0вищъ, и5же сyть за рэк0ю, да всE, є4же ѓще воспр0ситъ t вaсъ є4здра свzщeнникъ и3 писeцъ зак0на бGа нбcнагw, гот0во да бyдетъ: | and from me, whatever it shall seem good to thee to give. I king Arthasastha have made a decree for all the treasuries that are in the country beyond the river, that whatever Esdras the priest and scribe of the God of heaven may ask you, it shall be done speedily, |

| сребрA дaже до стA тал†нтъ, и3 пшени1цы дaже до стA мёръ, и3 вінA дaже до стA б0чекъ, и3 є3лeа дaже до стA чвaнwвъ, ґ с0ли без8 записaніz: | to the amount of a hundred talents of silver, and a hundred measures of wheat, and a hundred baths of wine, and a hundred baths of oil, and salt without reckoning. |

| всE, є4же є4сть по в0ли бGа нбcнагw, да бyдетъ въ домY бGа нбcнагw: вонми1те, да не кто2 прострeтъ рyку на д0мъ бGа нбcнагw, да не когдA бyдетъ гнёвъ на цaрство царeво и3 сынHвъ є3гw2: | Let whatever is in the decree of the God of heaven, be done: take heed lest any one make an attack on the house of the God of heaven, lest at any time there should be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons. |

| и3 вaмъ знaемо твори1мъ сіE, t всёхъ свzщeнникwвъ и3 леvjтwвъ, пэвцє1въ, двeрникwвъ, наfінjмwвъ и3 слyгъ домY б9іz дaнь да не бyдетъ тебЁ, нижE и3мёйте влaсти порабощaти и5хъ: | Also this has been declared to you, with respect to all the priests, and Levites, the singers, porters, Nathinim and ministers of the house of God, let no tribute be paid to thee; thou shalt not have power to oppress them. |

| тh же, є4здра, по премdрости бGа твоегw2, ћже въ руцЁ твоeй, постaви кни1жники и3 судіи6, да сyдzтъ вс‰ лю1ди, и5же сyть за рэк0ю, всBмъ знaющымъ зак0нъ бGа твоегw2, и3 не вёдающему вёдати сотвори1те: | And thou, Esdras, as the wisdom of God is in thy hand, appoint scribes and judges, that they may judge for all the people beyond the river, all that know the law of the Lord thy God; and ye shall make it known to him that knows not. |

| и3 всsкъ, и4же не сотвори1тъ зак0на бGа твоегw2 и3 зак0на царeва ўсeрднw, сyдъ да бyдетъ сотворeнъ на него2, ѓще въ смeрть, и3ли2 въ наказaніе, и3ли2 во њтщетёніе животA, и3ли2 въ темни1цу. | And whosoever shall not do the law of God, and the law of the king readily, judgment shall be taken upon him, whether for death or for chastisement, or for a fine of his property, or casting into prison. |

| Блгcвeнъ гDь бGъ nтє1цъ нaшихъ, и4же дадE си1це въ сeрдце царeво, да прослaвитъ д0мъ гDень, и4же во їеrли1мэ, | Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, who has put it thus into the heart of the king, to glorify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem; |

| и3 на мS ўклони2 милосeрдіе пред8 nчи1ма царS и3 совётникwвъ є3гw2 и3 всёхъ кнzзeй царeвыхъ си1льныхъ: и3 ѓзъ ўкрэплeнъ бhхъ, ћкw рукA б9іz бlгaz на мнЁ, и3 собрaхъ t ї}лz кнzзeй взhти со мн0ю. | and has given me favour in the eyes of the king, and of his councillors, and all the rulers of the king, the exalted ones. And I was strengthened according to the good hand of God upon me, and I gathered chief men of Israel to go up with me. |
