сі‰ глаг0летъ кЂръ цaрь пeрсскій: вс‰ ц†рства зємнaz дадE мнЁ гDь бGъ нбcный, и3 т0й повелЁ ми, да сози1жду є3мY д0мъ во їеrли1мэ, и4же во їудeи:	Thus said Cyrus king of the Persians, The Lord God of heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has given me a charge to build him a house in Jerusalem that is in Judea.

и3 всsкъ њстaвшійсz t всёхъ мёстъ, и3дёже т0й њбитaетъ, и3 да пом0гутъ є3мY мyжіе t мёста є3гw2 сребр0мъ и3 злaтомъ, и3 сос{ды и3 скwты2, съ добров0льными њбэщ†ніи (принесyтъ) въ цeрковь б9ію, ћже во їеrли1мэ.	And let every Jew that is left go from every place where he sojourns, and the men of his place shall help him with silver, and gold, and goods, and cattle, together with the voluntary offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.

И# востaша кн‰зи nтeчествъ їyдиныхъ и3 веніамjнихъ и3 свzщeнницы и3 леvjти, и3 вси2, и5мже воздви1же бGъ дyхъ и4хъ, да взhдутъ созидaнію цeркве гDни, ћже во їеrли1мэ:	Then the chiefs of the families of Juda and Benjamin arose, and the priests, and the Levites, all whose spirit the Lord stirred up to go up to build the house of the Lord that is in Jerusalem.

и3 вси2, и5же бsху w4крестъ, помог0ша рукaмъ и4хъ сос{ды срeбрбzными, злaтомъ, потрeбными, и3 скотaми, и3 драги1ми вещми2, кромЁ добров0льных.	And all that were round about strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with cattle, and with presents, besides the voluntary offerings.

И# цaрь кЂръ и3знесE сосyды цeркве гDни, и5хже взS навуходон0соръ и3з8 їеrли1ма и3 положи2 ты6z въ цeркви б0га своегw2:	And king Cyrus brought out the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nabuchodonosor had brought from Jerusalem, and put in the house of his god.

и3знесe же ты6z кЂръ цaрь пeрсскій рук0ю міfрідaта гасвари1нова, и3 сочтE ты6z сасавассaру кнsзю їудeйску.	And Cyrus king of the Persians brought them out by the hand of Mithradates the treasurer, and he numbered them to Sasabasar, the chief man of Juda.

И# сіE число2 и4хъ: ўмывaлницъ златhхъ три1десzть, ўмывaлницъ же срeбрzныхъ тhсzща, ножeй двaдесzть дeвzть,	And this is their number: thirty gold basons, and a thousand silver basons, nine and twenty changes, thirty golden goblets,

и3 чaшъ златhхъ три1десzть, и3 срeбрzныхъ двойнhхъ четhреста дeсzть, и3 сосyдwвъ и3нhхъ тhсzща:	and four hundred and ten double silver vessels, and a thousand other vessels.

всёхъ сосyдwвъ златhхъ и3 срeбрzныхъ пsть тhсzщъ и3 четhреста, вс‰ взS съ соб0ю сасавассaръ t преселeніz вавmлHнскагw во їеrли1мъ.	All the gold and silver vessels were five thousand four hundred, even all that went up with Sasabasar from the place of transportation, from Babylon to Jerusalem.

Сjи же сyть сhнове страны2, и5же взыд0ша t плёна преселeніz, и5хже пресели2 навуходон0соръ цaрь вавmлHнскій въ вавmлHнъ: и3 возврати1шасz во їеrли1мъ и3 їудeю кjйждо мyжъ во грaдъ св0й.	And these are the people of the land that went up, of the number of prisoners who were removed, whom Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon carried away to Babylon, and they returned to Juda and Jerusalem, every man to his city;

И$же пріид0ша съ зоровaвелемъ: їисyсъ, неемjа, сараjа, реелjа, мардохeй, валасaнъ, масфaръ, вагyй, реyмъ, ваанA. СіE число2 мужє1мъ людjй ї}левыхъ:	who came with Zorobabel: Jesus, Neemias, Saraias, Reelias, Mardochæus, Balasan, Masphar, Baguai, Reum, Baana. The number of the people of Israel:

и3 t сынHвъ свzщeнническихъ сhнове nваjєвы, сhнове ґккyсwвы, сhнове верзеллaєвы, и4же поS t дщeрей верзеллaа галаадjтина женY и3 наречeсz и4менемъ и4хъ:	And of the children of the priests, the children of Labeia, the children of Akkus, the children of Berzellai, who took a wife of the daughter of Berzellai the Galaadite, and was called by their name.

тjи и3скaша писaніz р0ду своемY и3 не њбрэт0ша, и3 и3згнaни сyть t свzщeнства.	These sought their genealogy as though they had been reckoned, but they were not found; and they were removed, as polluted, from the priesthood.

И# речE ґfерсаfA и5мъ, да не kдsтъ t с™aгw с™hхъ, д0ндеже востaнетъ свzщeнникъ со и3з8zвлeніемъ и3 и4стиною.	And the Athersastha told them that they should not eat of the most holy things, until a priest should arise with Lights and Perfections.

Всe же мн0жество кyпнw ћкw четhри тмы6 двЁ тhсzщы три1ста шестьдесsтъ,	And all the congregation together were about forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty;

кромЁ рабHвъ и4хъ и3 рабhнь и4хъ, си1хъ сeдмь тhсzщъ три1ста три1десzть сeдмь: и3 сjи пэвцы2 и3 пэвни6цы двёсти.	besides their men-servants and maid-servants, and these were seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven: and among these were two hundred singing men and singing women.

К0ней и4хъ сeдмь сHтъ три1десzть шeсть, мскHвъ и4хъ двёсти четhредесzть пsть,	Their horses were seven hundred and thirty-six, their mules, two hundred and forty-five.

И# t кнzзeй nтeчествъ, є3гдA вхождaху тjи въ цeрковь гDню, ћже во їеrли1мэ, добров0льнw принес0ша въ д0мъ б9ій, постaвити є3го2 на њсновaніи є3гw2:	And some of the chiefs of families, when they went into the house of the Lord that was in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God, to establish it on its prepared place.

по си1лэ своeй дaша въ росх0дъ дёла, злaта дрaхмъ шестьдесsтъ тhсzщъ и3 тhсzщу, и3 сребрA мн†съ пsть тhсzщъ, и3 њдэsній свzщeнническихъ сто2.	According to their power they gave into the treasury of the work pure gold sixty-one thousand pieces, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.

И# сэд0ша свzщeнницы и3 леvjти, и3 и5же t людjй, и3 пэвцы2 и3 двє1рницы и3 наfінjмлzне во градёхъ свои1хъ, и3 вeсь ї}ль во градёхъ свои1хъ.	So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nathinim, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.

Пришeдшу же мцcу седм0му, и3 бsху сhнове ї}лєвы во градёхъ свои1хъ, и3 собрaшасz лю1діе ѓки человBкъ є3ди1нъ во їеrли1мъ.	And the seventh month came on, and the children of Israel were in their cities, and the people assembled as one man at Jerusalem.

И# востA їисyсъ сhнъ їwседeковъ и3 брaтіz є3гw2 свzщeнницы, и3 зоровaвель сhнъ салаfіи1левъ и3 брaтіz є3гw2, и3 создaша nлтaрь бGу ї}леву, да принесyтъ на нeмъ всесожжє1ніz, ћкоже пи1сано є4сть въ зак0нэ мwmсeа человёка б9іz.	Then stood up Jesus the son of Josedec, and his brethren the priests, and Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, and his brethren, and they built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer upon it whole-burnt-offerings, according to the things that were written in the law of Moses the man of God.

И# ўгот0ваша nлтaрь на њсновaніи є3гw2, понeже стрaхъ бЁ на ни1хъ t людjй земнhхъ, и3 вознес0ша на т0мъ всесожжeніе гDеви ќтрw и3 въ вeчеръ:	And they set up the altar on its place, for there was a terror upon them because of the people of the lands: and the whole-burnt-offering was offered up upon it to the Lord morning and evening.

и3 сотвори1ша прaздникъ кyщей, ћкоже пи1сано, и3 всесожжє1ніz на всsкъ дeнь числ0мъ по повелёнію, дёло днE въ дeнь св0й:	And they kept the feast of tabernacles, according to that which was written, and offered whole-burnt-offerings daily in number according to the ordinance, the exact daily rate.

и3 посeмъ всесожжє1ніz непрест†ннаz и3 въ новомчcіz и3 во вс‰ прaздники гDеви њсвzщє1нныz, и3 њ всsцэмъ добров0льнw приносsщемъ со ўсeрдіемъ гDеви.	And after this the perpetual whole-burnt-offering, and offering for the season of new moon, and for all the hallowed feasts to the Lord, and for every one that offered a free-will-offering to the Lord.

T пeрвагw днE мцcа седмaгw начaша возноси1ти всесожжє1ніz гDеви, д0мъ же гDень не бЁ є3щE њсновaнъ.	On the first day of the seventh month they began to offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord: but the foundation of the house of the Lord was not laid.

И# вдaша пBнzзи каменосёчцємъ и3 древодёлємъ, пи1щу же и3 питіE и3 є3лeй сідHнzнwмъ и3 тЂрzнwмъ, да принесyтъ древA кeдрwва t лівaна къ м0рю їоппjйскому, ћкоже соизв0ли кЂръ цaрь пeрсскій њ ни1хъ.	And they gave money to the stone-hewers and carpenters, and meat and drink, and oil, to the Sidonians, and Tyrians, to bring cedar trees from Libanus to the sea of Joppa, according to the grant of Cyrus king of the Persians to them.

И# въ лёто втор0е, внегдA пріити2 и5мъ къ д0му б9ію во їеrли1мъ, мцcа вторaгw начA зоровaвель сhнъ салаfіи1левъ и3 їисyсъ сhнъ їwседeковъ, и3 пр0чіи t брaтіи и4хъ свzщeнницы и3 леvjти, и3 вси2, и5же пріид0ша t плэнeніz во їеrли1мъ, и3 постaвиша леvjтwвъ t двaдесzти лётъ и3 вhшше над8 творsщими дэлA во хрaмэ гDни.	And in the second year of their coming to the house of God in Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, and Jesus the son of Josedec, and the rest of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all who came from the captivity to Jerusalem, and they appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, over the workmen in the house of the Lord.

И# стA їисyсъ и3 сhнове є3гw2 и3 брaтіz є3гw2, кадои1лъ и3 сhнове є3гw2, сhнове ї{дины, ћкоже мyжъ є3ди1нъ да є3динодyшнw настоsтъ над8 творsщими дэлA въ домY б9іи, сhнове и3надaдwвы, сhнове и4хъ и3 брaтіz и4хъ леvjти.	And Jesus and his sons and his brethren stood, Cadmiel and his sons the sons of Juda, over them that wrought the works in the house of God: the sons of Enadad, their sons and their brethren the Levites.

И# њсновAша созидaюще д0мъ гDень: и3 стaша свzщeнницы во ўкрашeніи своeмъ со трубaми, и3 леvjти сhнове ґсaфwвы, въ кmмвaлэхъ да хвaлzтъ гDа, по ўстaву давjда царS ї}лева:	And they laid a foundation for building the house of the Lord: and the priests in their robes stood with trumpets and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the Lord, according to the order of David king of Israel.

и3 вопіsху въ пёснехъ и3 и3сповёданіи гDеви, ћкw бlгъ, ћкw въ вёкъ млcть є3гw2 над8 ї}лемъ: и3 вси2 лю1діе возглашaху глaсомъ вели1кимъ хвалeніе гDу при њсновaніи д0му гDнz.	And they answered each other with praise and thanksgiving to the Lord, saying, For it is good, for his mercy to Israel endures for ever. And all the people shouted with a loud voice to praise the Lord at the laying the foundation of the house of the Lord.

И# мн0зи t свzщeнникwвъ и3 леv‡тъ, и3 кн‰зи nтeчествъ и3 старBйшины, и5же ви1дэша д0мъ прeждній на њсновaніи своeмъ, и3 сeй д0мъ пред8 nчесы2 свои1ми, плaкаху глaсомъ вeліимъ: и3 нар0дъ возглашaющь, въ весeліи возвышaху:	But many of the priests and the Levites, and the elder men, heads of families, who had seen the former house on its foundation, and who saw this house with their eyes, wept with a loud voice: but the multitude shouted with joy to raise a song.

и3 не можaху лю1діе познaти глaса восклицaніz веселsщихсz t гласHвъ плaча нар0днагw, понeже лю1діе восклицaху глaсомъ вели1кимъ, и3 глaсъ вели1къ слhшашесz и3здалeча.	And the people did not distinguish the voice of the glad shout from the voice of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loud voice, and the voice was heard even from afar off.

и3 приступи1ша къ зоровaвелю и3 ко кнzзє1мъ nтeчествъ и3 рек0ша и5мъ: сози1ждемъ съ вaми, понeже, ћкоже и3 вы2, и4щемъ бGа вaшего и3 є3мY мы2 жрeмъ жeртву t днjй ґсарадaна царS ґссyрска привeдшагw ны сёмw.	And they drew near to Zorobabel, and to the heads of families, and said to them, We will build with you; for as ye do, we seek to serve our God, and we do sacrifice to him from the days of Asaradan king of Assur, who brought us hither.

И# речE и5мъ зоровaвель и3 їисyсъ и3 пр0чіи кн‰зи nтeчествъ ї}левыхъ: нёсть нaмъ и3 вaмъ создaти д0мъ бGу нaшему, понeже мы2 сaми њс0бнw сози1ждемъ гDу бGу нaшему, ћкоже повелЁ нaмъ кЂръ цaрь пeрсскій.	Then Zorobabel, and Jesus and the rest of the heads of the families of Israel said to them, It is not for us and you to build a house to our God, for we ourselves will build together to the Lord our God, as Cyrus the king of the Persians commanded us.

и3 наимaху на ни1хъ совётникwвъ, да разорsтъ совётъ и4хъ, во вс‰ дни6 кЂра царS пeрсскагw и3 дaже до цaрства дaріа царS пeрсскагw.	and continued hiring persons against them, plotting to frustrate their counsel, all the days of Cyrus king of the Persians, and until the reign of Darius king of the Persians.

Въ цaрство же ґссуи1ра, (и4же є4сть ґртаxeрxъ,) въ начaлэ цaрства є3гw2, написaша сви1токъ на живyщихъ во їудeи и3 во їеrли1мэ.	And in the reign of Assuerus, even in the beginning of his reign, they wrote a letter against the inhabitants of Juda and Jerusalem.

И# во дни6 ґрfасаfaна написA въ ми1рэ міfрідaтъ и3 тавеи1лъ со пр0чими сослужи1тєли ко ґртаxeрxу царю2 пeрсскому: написA писмон0сецъ писaніе сЂрскимъ љзhкомъ и3 претолк0вано.	And in the days of Arthasastha, Tabeel wrote peaceably to Mithradates and to the rest of his fellow-servants: the tribute-gatherer wrote to Arthasastha king of the Persians a writing in the Syrian tongue, and the same interpreted.

тaкw суди1лъ реyмъ валтаaмъ и3 самpA книг0чій и3 пр0чіи сослужи1теліе нaши, дінeє, ґфарсаfахeє, тарфалeє, ґрфасeє, ґрхmeє, вавmлHнzне, сусанахeє, савeє, є3лами1те	Thus has judged Reum the chancellor, and Sampsa the scribe, and the rest of our fellow-servants, the Dinæans, the Apharsathachæans, the Tarphalæans, the Apharsæans, the Archyæans, the Babylonians, the Susanachæans, Davæans,

СіE є4сть сказaніе послaніz, є4же послaша къ немY, ко ґртаxeрxу царю2: раби2 твои2, мyжіе, и5же за рэк0ю:	This is the purport of the letter, which they sent to him: Thy servants the men beyond the river to king Arthasastha.

вёдомо да бyдетъ царю2, ћкw їудeє, и5же взыд0ша t тебє2 къ нaмъ, пріид0ша во їеrли1мъ грaдъ tстyпный и3 лукaвый, є3г0же созидaютъ: и3 стёны є3гw2 состр0єны сyть, и3 њсновaніе є3гw2 возвhсиша:	Be it known to the king, that the Jews who came up from thee to us have come to Jerusalem the rebellious and wicked city, which they are building, and its walls are set in order, and they have established the foundations of it.

нн7э u5бо вёдомо да бyдетъ царю2, ћкw, ѓще грaдъ сeй с0зданъ бyдетъ, и3 стёны є3гw2 совершaтсz, д†ни не бyдутъ тебЁ, нижE (лётнzгw воздаsніz) дадyтъ: и3 сіE царє1мъ ѕло2 твори1тъ,	Now then be it known to the king, that if that city be built up, and its walls completed, thou shalt have no tribute, neither will they pay anything, and this injures kings.

и3 посрамощeніz царeва не лёть нaмъ ви1дэти: сегw2 рaди послaхомъ и3 возвэсти1хомъ царю2,	And it is not lawful for us to see the dishonour of the king: therefore have we sent and made known the matter to the king;

да разсм0трено бyдетъ въ кни1зэ памzтопи1снэй nтцє1въ твои1хъ, и3 њбрsщеши въ кни1зэ памzтопи1снэй и3 познaеши, ћкw грaдъ w4нъ tстyпный є4сть и3 њби1дzщь царeй и3 страны6, и3 ўбBжища слyгъ бывaютъ посредЁ є3гw2 t днjй дрeвнихъ, сегw2 рaди и3 грaдъ т0й њпустошeнъ є4сть:	that examination may be made in thy fathers' book of record; and thou shalt find, and thou shalt know that that city is rebellious, and does harm to kings and countries, and there are in the midst of it from very old time refuges for runaway slaves: therefore this city has been made desolate.

вёдомо u5бо твори1мъ царю2, ћкw, ѓще грaдъ т0й с0зданъ бyдетъ и3 стёны є3гw2 совершaтсz, то2 не бyдетъ ти2 ми1ра.	We therefore declare to the king, that, if that city be built, and its walls be set up, thou shalt not have peace.

И# послA цaрь ко реyму валтаaму и3 самpaю книгHчію и3 ко пр0чымъ сослужи1телємъ и4хъ њбитaющымъ въ самарjи и3 пр0чымъ за рэк0ю ми1ръ	Then the king sent to Reum the chancellor, and Sampsa the scribe, and the rest of their fellow-servants who dwelt in Samaria, and the rest beyond the river, saying, Peace; and he says,

и3 речE: писмон0сецъ, є3г0же послaсте къ нaмъ, при1званъ пред8 менE,	The tribute-gatherer whom ye sent to us, has been called before me.

и3 t менє2 повелёно є4сть, и3 соглsдахомъ и3 њбрэт0хомъ, ћкw грaдъ т0й t днjй дрeвнихъ на царeй возн0ситсz, tступлє1ніz и3 ўбBжища бывaютъ въ нeмъ:	And a decree has been made by me, and we have examined, and found that that city of old time exalts itself against kings, and that rebellions and desertions take place within it.

и3 цaріе крёпцы бhша во їеrли1мэ и3 њбладaху всeю стран0ю, ћже за рэк0ю, д†ни же мнHги и3 чaсть давaшесz и5мъ:	And there were powerful kings in Jerusalem, and they ruled over all the country beyond the river, and abundant revenues and tribute were given to them.

и3 нн7э повели1те мужє1мъ w4нымъ престaти t дёла, и3 грaдъ џный да не созидaетсz ктомY:	Now therefore make a decree to stop the work of those men, and that city shall no more be built.

ћкw да t повелёніz сегw2 њпaсни бyдете нерадёніе твори1ти њ сeмъ, да не когдA ўмн0житсz поги1бель на ѕло2 царє1мъ.	See that ye be careful of the decree, not to be remiss concerning this matter, lest at any time destruction should abound to the harm of kings.

Then the tribute-gatherer of king Arthasastha read the letter before Reum the chancellor, and Sampsa the scribe, and his fellow-servants: and they went in haste to Jerusalem and through Juda, and caused them to cease with horses and an armed force.

Then rose up Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, and Jesus the son of Josedec, and began to build the house of God that was in Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God assisting them.

И# џчи б9іи на плэнeніе їyдино, и3 не возбрани1ша и5мъ, д0ндеже послaніе къ дaрію tнесeно, и3 тогдA послaсz съ писмон0сцемъ њ сeмъ.	But the eyes of God were upon the captivity of Juda, and they did not cause them to cease till the decree was brought to Darius; and then was sent by the tribute-gatherer concerning this

И#з8zвлeніе послaніz, є4же послA fаfанaй кнsзь њб8 w4нъ п0лъ рэки2 и3 саfарвузанaй и3 сослужи1теліе и4хъ ґфарсахeє, и5же бsху за рэк0ю, дaрію царю2:	the copy of a letter, which Thanthanai, the governor of the part on this side the river, and Satharbuzanai, and their fellow-servants the Apharsachæans who were on this side of the river, sent to king Darius.

словесы2 послaша къ немY, и3 сі‰ пи6сана въ нeмъ: дaрію царю2 ми1ръ всsкъ:	They sent an account to him, and thus it was written in it: All peace to king Darius.

вёдомо да бyдетъ царю2, ћкw ходи1хомъ во їудeйскую странY къ д0му бGа вели1кагw, и3 т0й созидaетсz кaменіемъ и3збрaннымъ, и3 древA стaвzтсz въ стэнaхъ, дёло же то2 со тщaніемъ стр0итсz и3 благопоспэшaетсz въ рукaхъ и4хъ:	Be it known to the king, that we went into the land of Judea, to the house of the great God; and it is building with choice stones, and they are laying timbers in the walls, and that work is prospering, and goes on favourably in their hands.

тогдA вопроси1хомъ старёйшинъ тёхъ и3 тaкw рек0хомъ и5мъ: кто2 дадE вaмъ влaсть д0мъ сeй созидaти и3 стёны сі‰ возставлsти;	Then we asked those elders, and thus we said to them, Who gave you the order to build this house, and to provide this preparation?

и3 њ и4менэхъ и4хъ вопроси1хомъ и5хъ, да возвэсти1мъ тебЁ, ћкw да напи1шемъ тебЁ и3менA мужeй, и5же сyть нач†лницы и4хъ:	And we asked them their names, in order to declare them to thee, so as to write to thee the names of their leading men.

и3 сицєвA словесA tвэщaша нaмъ глаг0люще: мы2 є3смы2 раби2 бGа нб7сE и3 земли2, и3 созидaемъ д0мъ, и4же бhсть ўстр0енъ прeжде сегw2 за лBта мнHга, и3 цaрь ї}левъ вели1кій создA є3го2 и3 соверши2 є3го2 и5мъ:	And they answered us thus, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are building the house which had been built many years before this, and a great king of Israel built it, and established it for them.

є3гдa же прогнёваша nтцы2 нaши бGа нбcнаго, предадE и5хъ въ рyки навуходон0сора царS вавmлHнскагw халдeанина, и3 д0мъ сeй разори2 и3 лю1ди преведE въ вавmлHнъ:	But after that our fathers provoked the God of heaven, he gave them into the hands of Nabuchodonosor the Chaldean, king of Babylon, and he destroyed this house, and carried the people captive to Babylon.

но въ лёто пeрвое кЂра царS, кЂръ цaрь вавmлHнскій постaви повелёніе, да д0мъ б9ій сeй сози1ждетсz,	And in the first year of king Cyrus, Cyrus the king made a decree that this house of God should be built.

и3 сосyды д0му б9іz златы6z и3 срє1брzныz, ±же навуходон0соръ взS и3з8 д0му, и4же во їеrли1мэ, и3 tнесE \| въ хрaмъ вавmлHнскій, и3знесE ты6z кЂръ цaрь t хрaма вавmлHнскагw и3 дадE и5хъ саванасaру храни1телю, и4же над8 сокр0вищемъ,	And the gold and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nabuchodonosor brought out from the house that was in Jerusalem, and carried them into the temple of the king, them did king Cyrus bring out from the temple of the king, and gave them to Sabanasar the treasurer, who was over the treasure;

тогдA саванасaръ т0й пріи1де и3 постaви њсновaніе д0му б9іz во їеrли1мэ, и3 t тогw2 врeмене дaже донн7э созидaетсz, и3 є3щE не совершeнъ є4сть:	Then that Sabanazar came, and laid the foundations of the house of God in Jerusalem: and from that time even until now it has been building, and has not been finished.

и3 нн7э ѓще (ви1дитсz) царю2 блaго, да посмотри1тъ въ домY сокр0вища царS вавmлHнскагw, да ўвёси, ћкw t царS кЂра бhсть повелёніе созидaти д0мъ б9ій сeй, и4же во їеrли1мэ, и3 ўвёдавъ њ сeмъ цaрь да п0слетъ къ нaмъ.	And now, if it seem good to the king, let search be made in the treasure-house of the king at Babylon, that thou mayest know if it be that a decree was made by king Cyrus to build that house of God that was in Jerusalem, and let the king send to us when he has learnt concerning this matter.

И# њбрётесz во ґмafэ грaдэ мидjйстэмъ въ палaтэ глави1зна є3ди1на, и3 сіE пи1сано бЁ въ нeй на пaмzть:	And there was found in the city, in the palace, a volume, and this was the record written in it.

въ лёто пeрвое кЂра царS, кЂръ цaрь цaрь повелЁ њ д0мэ б9іи, и4же во їеrли1мэ: д0мъ да сози1ждетсz, и3 мёсто, и3дёже жрyтъ жє1ртвы: и3 положи2 мёру высоты2 лакHтъ шестьдесsтъ, широтA є3гw2 лакHтъ шестьдесsтъ:	In the first year of king Cyrus, Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the holy house of God that was in Jerusalem, saying, Let the house be built, and the place where they sacrifice the sacrifices. (Also he appointed its elevation, in height sixty cubits; its breadth was of sixty cubits.)

и3 стёны кaмєнныz твє1рдыz три2, и3 стэнA древsнаz є3ди1на, и3ждивeніе же t д0му царeва да дaстсz:	And let there be three strong layers of stone, and one layer of timber; and the expense shall be paid out of the house of the king.

и3 сосyди д0му б9іz златjи и3 срeбрzніи, и5хже навуходон0соръ взS t д0му, и4же во їеrли1мэ, и3 пренесE и5хъ въ вавmлHнъ, да tдадyтсz и3 внесyтсz въ д0мъ, и4же во їеrли1мэ, на мёсто, и3дёже и3 постaвлени бsху въ домY б9іи:	And the silver and the gold vessels of the house of God, which Nabuchodonosor carried off from the house that was in Jerusalem, and carried to Babylon, let them even be given, and be carried to the temple that is in Jerusalem, and put in the place where they were set in the house of God.

нн7э u5бо дади1те, кнsзіе сyщіи за рэк0ю, саfарвузанaй и3 сослужи1теліе и4хъ ґфарсахeє, и5же за рэк0ю, далeче tиди1те tтyду:	Now, ye rulers beyond the river, Satharbuzanai, and their fellow-servants the Apharsachæans, who are on the other side of the river, give these things, keeping far from that place.

нн7э њстaвите дёло д0му б9іz: кнsзіе їудeйстіи и3 старBйшины и4хъ д0мъ б9ій т0й да созидaютъ на мёстэ своeмъ:	Now let alone the work of the house of God: let the rulers of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build that house of God on its place.

и3 t менє2 повелёно бhсть, да не когдA что2 сотвори1те проти1вно старёйшинамъ жидHвскимъ въ созидaніи д0му б9іz џнагw: и3 t и3мёній цaрскихъ дaней сyщихъ за рэк0ю прилёжнw на и3ждивeніе да даeтсz мужє1мъ тBмъ, є4же бы не престaло дёло то2:	Also a decree has been made by me, if haply ye may do somewhat in concert with the elders of the Jews for the building of that house of God: to wit, out of the king's property, even the tributes beyond the river, let there be money to defray the expenses carefully granted to those men, so that they be not hindered.

и3 є4же ѓще њскудёетъ, и3 телцы2 и3 nвны2 и3 ѓгнцы, во всесожжє1ніz бGу нбcному, пшени1ца, с0ль, віно2, є3лeй, по словеси2 свzщeнникwвъ, и5же во їеrли1мэ, да даeтсz и5мъ по вс‰ дни6, є4же ѓще воспр0сzтъ,	And whatever need there may be, ye shall give both the young of bulls and rams, and lambs for whole-burnt-offerings to the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, oil:—let it be given them according to the word of the priests that are in Jerusalem, day by day whatsoever they shall ask;

да бyдутъ приносsщіи благоух†ніz бGу нбcному и3 да м0лzтсz њ жи1зни царS и3 сынHвъ є3гw2:	that they may offer sweet savours to the God of heaven, and that they may pray for the life of the king and his sons.

и3 t менє2 ўстaвлено повелёніе, да всsкъ человёкъ, и4же престyпитъ повелёніе сіE, в0зметсz дрeво t д0му є3гw2, и3 воздви1женъ њбёситсz на нeмъ, и3 д0мъ є3гw2 мнЁ бyдетъ взsтъ:	And a decree has been made by me, that every man who shall alter this word, timber shall be pulled down from his house, and let him be lifted up and slain upon it, and his house shall be confiscated.

и3 бGъ, є3гHже њбитaетъ и4мz тaмw, да низврати1тъ всsкаго царS и3 лю1ди, и5же прострyтъ рyку свою2 премэни1ти и3ли2 разори1ти д0мъ б9ій, и4же є4сть во їеrли1мэ: ѓзъ дaрій постaвихъ повелёніе, съ прилэжaніемъ да бyдетъ.	And may the God whose name dwells there, overthrow every king and people who shall stretch out his hand to alter or destroy the house of God which is in Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be diligently attended to.

ТогдA fаfанaй кнsзь страны2 зарёчныz, саfарвузанaй и3 сослужeбницы є3гw2, ћкоже послA дaрій цaрь, тaкw сотвори1ша тщaтелнw.	Then Thanthanai the governor on this side beyond the river, Satharbuzanai, and his fellow-servants, according to that which king Darius sent, so they did diligently.

СтарBйшины же їудeйстіи созидaху и3 леvjти по прbр0честву ґггeа прbр0ка и3 захaріи сhна ѓддwва. И# создaша и3 соверши1ша по повелёнію бGа ї}лева и3 по повелёнію кЂра и3 дaріа и3 ґртаxeрxа царeй пeрсскихъ,	And the elders of the Jews and the Levites built, at the prophecy of Aggæus the prophet, and Zacharias the son of Addo: and they built up, and finished it, by the decree of the God of Israel, and by the decree of Cyrus, and Darius, and Arthasastha, kings of the Persians.

и3 соверши1ша д0мъ т0й дaже до днE трeтіzгw, мцcа ґдaра, и4же є4сть въ лёто шест0е цaрства дaріа царS.	And they finished this house by the third day of the month Adar, which is the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.

Сотвори1ша же сhнове ї}лєвы, свzщeнницы и3 леvjти, и3 пр0чіи сынHвъ преселeніz њбновлeніе д0му б9іz въ рaдости,	And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of the house of God with gladness.

и3 принес0ша на њбновлeніе д0му б9іz телцє1въ сто2, nвнHвъ двёсти, ѓгнцєвъ четhреста, козлHвъ t к0зъ за грэхи2 всегw2 ї}лz дванaдесzть, по числY колёнъ ї}левыхъ:	And they offered for the dedication of the house of God a hundred calves, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs, twelve kids of the goats for a sin-offering for all Israel, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.

и3 постaвиша свzщeнникwвъ въ чинёхъ свои1хъ и3 леvjты въ чaстехъ свои1хъ на служeніе д0му б9іz во їеrли1мэ, ћкоже пи1сано є4сть въ кни1зэ мwmсeовэ.	And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their separate orders, for the services of God in Jerusalem, according to the writing of the book of Moses.

И# сотвори1ша сhнове преселeніz пaсху въ четвертыйнaдесzть дeнь мцcа пeрвагw:	And the children of the captivity kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.

њчищeни бо бsху свzщeнницы и3 леvjти дaже до є3ди1нагw вси2 чи1сти, и3 пожр0ша пaсху всBмъ сынHмъ преселeніz и3 брaтіи и4хъ свzщeнникwмъ и3 себЁ самhмъ.	For the priests and Levites were purified, all were clean to a man, and they slew the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.

And the children of Israel ate the passover, even they that were of the captivity, and every one who separated himself to them from the uncleanness of the nations of the land, to seek the Lord God of Israel.

И# сотвори1ша прaздникъ њпрэсн0чный сeдмь днjй въ весeліи, ћкw возвесели2 и5хъ гDь и3 њбрати2 сeрдце царS ґссyрска къ ни6мъ, ўкрэпи1ти рyки и4хъ въ дёлэхъ д0му бGа ї}лева.	And they kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with gladness, because the Lord made them glad, and he turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, to strengthen their hands in the works of the house of the God of Israel.

This Esdras went up out of Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel gave: and the king gave him leave, for the hand of the Lord his God was upon him in all things which he sought.

И# взыд0ша t сынHвъ ї}левыхъ и3 t свzщeнникwвъ и3 t леvjтwвъ, и3 пэвцы2 и3 придвє1рницы и3 наfінjми во їеrли1мъ, въ лёто седм0е ґртаxeрxа царS,	And some of the children of Israel went up, and some of the priests, and of the Levites, and the singers, and the door-keepers, and the Nathinim, to Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Arthasastha the king.

и3 пріид0ша во їеrли1мъ мцcа пsтагw: сіE є4сть лёто седм0е царeво:	And they came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, this was the seventh year of the king.

занE въ пeрвый дeнь мцcа пeрвагw т0й начA восходи1ти t вавmлHна, и3 въ пeрвый дeнь мцcа пsтагw пріид0ша во їеrли1мъ, ћкw рукA бGа є3гw2 бlгA на нeмъ бЁ:	For in the first day of the first month he began the going up from Babylon, and in the first day of the fifth month they came to Jerusalem, for the good hand of his God was upon him.

є4здра бо ўгот0ва сeрдце своE, да взhщетъ зак0на (гDнz) и3 да тв0ритъ и3 ўчи1тъ во ї}ли повелёніємъ и3 судбaмъ.	For Esdras had determined in his heart to seek the law, and to do and teach the ordinances and judgments in Israel.

И# сіE є4сть сказaніе послaніz є4же дадE цaрь ґртаxeрxъ є4здрэ свzщeннику, писцY кни1ги словeсъ зaповэдій гDнихъ и3 повелёній є3гw2 во ї}ли:	And this is the copy of the order which Arthasastha gave to Esdras the priest, the scribe of the book of the words of the commandments of the Lord, and of his ordinances to Israel.

t менє2 повелёно є3сть, да кjйждо, и4же и4мать ўсeрдіе блaго во цaрствэ моeмъ t людjй ї}левыхъ и3 t свzщeнникwвъ и3 t леvjтwвъ поити2 во їеrли1мъ, съ тоб0ю да и4детъ:	A decree is made by me, that every one who is willing in my kingdom of the people of Israel, and of the priests and Levites, to go to Jerusalem, be permitted to go with thee.

t лицA царeва и3 седми2 совётникwвъ є3гw2 п0сланъ є3си2, да посэти1ши їудeю и3 їеrли1мъ въ зак0нэ бGа и4хъ, сyщемъ въ рукY твоє1ю,	One has been sent from the king and the seven councillors, to visit Judea and Jerusalem, according to the law of their God that is in thine hand.

и3 да tнесeши въ д0мъ гDень сребро2 и3 злaто, є4же цaрь и3 совBтницы є3гw2 со ўсeрдіемъ дaша бGу ї}леву, и4же во їеrли1мэ њбитaетъ,	And for the house of the Lord there have been sent silver and gold, which the king and the councillors have freely given to the God of Israel, who dwells in Jerusalem.

и3 всE злaто и3 сребро2, є4же ѓще њбрsщеши во всeй w4бласти вавmлHнстэй, съ добров0льнымъ даsніемъ людски1мъ и3 свzщeнникwвъ, в0лею приносsщихъ въ д0мъ б9ій, и4же во їеrли1мэ:	And all the silver and gold, whatsoever thou shalt find in all the land of Babylon, with the freewill-offering of the people, and the priests that offer freely for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.

и3 всsкій дох0дъ т0й ўсeрднw впиши2 въ кни1гу сію2: телцы2, nвны2, ѓгнцы, и3 жє1ртвы и4хъ и3 возлі‰ніz и4хъ: и3 принеси2 т† на nлтaрь д0му бGа вaшегw, и4же є4сть во їеrли1мэ:	And as for every one that arrives there, speedily order him by this letter to bring calves, rams, lambs, and their meat-offerings, and their drink-offerings; and thou shalt offer them on the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem.

и3 ѓще что2 тебЁ и3 брaтіи твоeй блaго возмни1тсz t њстaвшагwсz сребрA и3 злaта сотвори1ти, ћкоже ўг0дно бGу вaшему, сотвори1те:	And whatever it shall seem good to thee and to thy brethren to do with the rest of the silver and the gold, do as it is pleasing to your God.

и3 сосyды, и5же даны2 тебЁ въ слyжбу д0му б9іz, вдaждь пред8 бGомъ во їеrли1мэ:	And deliver the vessels that are given thee for the service of the house of God, before God in Jerusalem.

и3 пр0чыz потрє1бы д0му бGа твоегw2, є4же ѓще возмни1тсz тебЁ дaти, да дaси и3з8 домHвъ сокр0вища царeва	And as to the rest of the need of the house of thy God, thou shalt give from the king's treasure-houses,

и3 t менє2 ѓзъ ґртаxeрxъ цaрь ўстaвихъ повелёніе всBмъ храни1телємъ сокр0вищъ, и5же сyть за рэк0ю, да всE, є4же ѓще воспр0ситъ t вaсъ є4здра свzщeнникъ и3 писeцъ зак0на бGа нбcнагw, гот0во да бyдетъ:	and from me, whatever it shall seem good to thee to give. I king Arthasastha have made a decree for all the treasuries that are in the country beyond the river, that whatever Esdras the priest and scribe of the God of heaven may ask you, it shall be done speedily,

сребрA дaже до стA тал†нтъ, и3 пшени1цы дaже до стA мёръ, и3 вінA дaже до стA б0чекъ, и3 є3лeа дaже до стA чвaнwвъ, ґ с0ли без8 записaніz:	to the amount of a hundred talents of silver, and a hundred measures of wheat, and a hundred baths of wine, and a hundred baths of oil, and salt without reckoning.

всE, є4же є4сть по в0ли бGа нбcнагw, да бyдетъ въ домY бGа нбcнагw: вонми1те, да не кто2 прострeтъ рyку на д0мъ бGа нбcнагw, да не когдA бyдетъ гнёвъ на цaрство царeво и3 сынHвъ є3гw2:	Let whatever is in the decree of the God of heaven, be done: take heed lest any one make an attack on the house of the God of heaven, lest at any time there should be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons.

и3 вaмъ знaемо твори1мъ сіE, t всёхъ свzщeнникwвъ и3 леvjтwвъ, пэвцє1въ, двeрникwвъ, наfінjмwвъ и3 слyгъ домY б9іz дaнь да не бyдетъ тебЁ, нижE и3мёйте влaсти порабощaти и5хъ:	Also this has been declared to you, with respect to all the priests, and Levites, the singers, porters, Nathinim and ministers of the house of God, let no tribute be paid to thee; thou shalt not have power to oppress them.

тh же, є4здра, по премdрости бGа твоегw2, ћже въ руцЁ твоeй, постaви кни1жники и3 судіи6, да сyдzтъ вс‰ лю1ди, и5же сyть за рэк0ю, всBмъ знaющымъ зак0нъ бGа твоегw2, и3 не вёдающему вёдати сотвори1те:	And thou, Esdras, as the wisdom of God is in thy hand, appoint scribes and judges, that they may judge for all the people beyond the river, all that know the law of the Lord thy God; and ye shall make it known to him that knows not.

и3 всsкъ, и4же не сотвори1тъ зак0на бGа твоегw2 и3 зак0на царeва ўсeрднw, сyдъ да бyдетъ сотворeнъ на него2, ѓще въ смeрть, и3ли2 въ наказaніе, и3ли2 во њтщетёніе животA, и3ли2 въ темни1цу.	And whosoever shall not do the law of God, and the law of the king readily, judgment shall be taken upon him, whether for death or for chastisement, or for a fine of his property, or casting into prison.

Блгcвeнъ гDь бGъ nтє1цъ нaшихъ, и4же дадE си1це въ сeрдце царeво, да прослaвитъ д0мъ гDень, и4же во їеrли1мэ,	Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, who has put it thus into the heart of the king, to glorify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem;

и3 на мS ўклони2 милосeрдіе пред8 nчи1ма царS и3 совётникwвъ є3гw2 и3 всёхъ кнzзeй царeвыхъ си1льныхъ: и3 ѓзъ ўкрэплeнъ бhхъ, ћкw рукA б9іz бlгaz на мнЁ, и3 собрaхъ t ї}лz кнzзeй взhти со мн0ю.	and has given me favour in the eyes of the king, and of his councillors, and all the rulers of the king, the exalted ones. And I was strengthened according to the good hand of God upon me, and I gathered chief men of Israel to go up with me.

t сынHвъ саханjиныхъ, t сынHвъ фор0совыхъ захaріа, и3 съ ни1мъ мужeй сто2 пzтьдесsтъ,	Of the sons of Sachania, and of the sons of Phoros; Zacharias: and with him a company of a hundred and fifty.

t сынHвъ фаafъ-мwaва є3ліанA сhнъ сараjевъ, и3 съ ни1мъ двёсти мужeй,	Of the sons of Phaath-Moab; Eliana the son of Saraia, and with him two hundred that were males.

и3 t сынHвъ є3дaмлихъ и3сaіа сhнъ ґfелjинъ, и3 съ ни1мъ сeдмьдесzтъ мужeй,	And of the sons of Elam; Isæas the son of Athelia, and with him seventy males.

и3 t сынHвъ сафатjевыхъ завдjа сhнъ міхаи1ловъ, и3 съ ни1мъ џсмьдесzтъ мужeй,	And of the sons of Saphatia; Zabadias the son of Michael, and with him eighty males.

и3 t сынHвъ їwaвлихъ ґвдjа сhнъ їеіи1левъ и3 съ ни1мъ двёсти nсмьнaдесzть мужeй,	And of the sons of Joab; Abadia the son of Jeiel, and with him two hundred and eighteen males.

и3 t сынHвъ ґзгaдовыхъ їwнaнъ сhнъ їкатaновъ, и3 съ ни1мъ сто2 дeсzть мужeй,	And of the sons of Asgad; Joanan the son of Accatan, and with him a hundred and ten males.

и3 t сынHвъ ґдwнікaмлихъ послёдніи, и3 сі‰ и3менA и4хъ: є3діфалafъ, їеіи1лъ и3 самаjа, и3 съ ни1мъ шестьдесsтъ мужeй,	And of the sons of Adonicam were the last, and these were their names, Eliphalat, Jeel, and Samæa, and with them sixty males.

и3 t сынHвъ вагуaевыхъ ўfaй и3 завyдъ, и3 съ ни1ми сeдмьдесzтъ мужeй.	And of the sons of Baguæ, Uthai, and Zabud, and with him seventy males.

Собрaхъ же и5хъ къ рэцЁ текyщей ко є3vjи, и3 пребhхомъ тY три2 дни6: и3скaхъ же въ лю1дехъ и3 во свzщeнницэхъ, и3 t сынHвъ леvjиныхъ не њбрэт0хъ тaмw.	And I gathered them to the river that comes to Evi, and we encamped there three days: and I reviewed the people and the priests, and found none of the sons of Levi there.

И# послaхъ ко є3леазaру, ґріи1лу, семеjю и3 къ маwнaну, и3 їерjву и3 є3лнаfaму, и3 наfaну и3 захaріи и3 месоллaму, и3 ко їwарjму и3 є3лнаfaну, премyдрыхъ,	And I sent men of understanding to Eleazar, to Ariel, to Semeias, and to Alonam, and to Jarib, and to Elnatham, and to Nathan, and to Zacharias, and to Mesollam, and to Joarim, and to Elnathan.

и3 и3звед0хъ и5хъ ко ґдaю начaлнику на мёстэ кaсфіа и3 вложи1хъ во ўстA и4хъ словесA глаг0лати ко ґдaю и3 брaтіи є3гw2 ґfінjмwмъ на мёстэ кaсфіи, привести2 нaмъ пою1щихъ въ д0мъ бGа нaшегw.	And I forwarded them to the rulers with the money of the place, and I put words in their mouth to speak to their brethren the Athinim with the money of the place, that they should bring us singers for the house of our God.

И# пріид0ша къ нaмъ, понeже рукA бGа нaшегw бЁ бlгA на нaсъ, мyжъ сахHнъ t сынHвъ моолjевыхъ сhна леvjина, сhна ї}лева, и3 саравjа, и3 сhнове є3гw2 и3 брaтіz є3гw2 nсмьнaдесzть:	And they came to us, as the good hand of our God was upon us, even a man of understanding of the sons of Mooli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel, and at the commencement came his sons and his brethren, eighteen.

и3 ґсевjа, и3 и3сaіа t сынHвъ мерaріныхъ и3 брaтіz є3гw2 и3 сhнове є3гw2 двaдесzть:	And Asebia, and Isaia of the sons of Merari, his brethren and his sons, twenty.

и3 t наfінjмwвъ, и5хже дадE давjдъ и3 кнsзіе ко слyжбэ леvjтwмъ, наfінjмwвъ двёсти двaдесzть, вси2 собрaшасz по и3менHмъ.	And of the Nathinim, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites there were two hundred and twenty Nathinim; all were gathered by their names.

И# проповёдахъ тaмw п0стъ бли1з8 рёки ґуи2, є4же смири1тисz пред8 гDемъ бGомъ нaшимъ, проси1ти t негw2 пути2 прaвагw нaмъ и3 чaдwмъ нaшымъ и3 всемY стzжaнію нaшему:	And I proclaimed there a fast, at the river Aüe, that we should humble ourselves before our God, to seek of him a straight way for us, and for our children, and for all our property.

ўстыдёхсz бо и3спроси1ти t царS си1лы и3 кHнникъ защи1тити нaсъ t врагA на пути2, понeже рёхомъ царю2 глаг0люще: рукA бGа нaшегw є4сть на всёхъ и4щущихъ є3го2 во благ0е и3 крёпость є3гw2, ћрость же є3гw2 на всёхъ њставлsющихъ є3го2.	For I was ashamed to ask of the king a guard and horsemen to save us from the enemy in the way: for we had spoken to the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all that seek him, for good; but his power and his wrath are upon all that forsake him.

Пости1хомсz же и3 моли1хомсz бGу нaшему њ сeмъ, и3 ўслhша нaсъ.	So we fasted, and asked of our God concerning this; and he hearkened to us.

И# tлучи1хъ t кнzзeй свzщeнническихъ дванaдесzть, сараjю, ґсавjю и3 съ ни1ми t брaтіи и4хъ дeсzть:	And I gave charge to twelve of the chiefs of the priests, to Saraia, to Asabia, and ten of their brethren with them.

возвёснхъ же и5мъ сребро2 и3 злaто и3 сосyды начaткwвъ д0му бGа нaшегw, ±же вознесE цaрь и3 совBтницы є3гw2 и3 кнsзіе є3гw2, и3 вeсь ї}ль њбрэтazйсz,	And I weighed to them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of the first-fruits of the house of our God, which the king, and his councillors, and his princes, and all Israel that were found, had dedicated.

и3 дaхъ вёсомъ въ рyки и4хъ сребрA талaнтwвъ шeсть сHтъ пzтьдесsтъ, и3 сосyдwвъ срeбрzныхъ сто2, и3 злaта сто2 тал†нтъ,	I even weighed into their hands six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and a hundred silver vessels, and a hundred talents of gold;

и3 чaшъ златhхъ двaдесzть, дрaхмъ тhсzщу, и3 сосyды мёди свётлыz д0брыz разли6чныz, драгоцBнныz ћкw злaто,	and twenty golden bowls, weighing about a thousand drachms, and superior vessels of fine shining brass, precious as gold.

и3 рек0хъ и5мъ: вы2 свsти гDу бGу, и3 сосyди свsти и3 сребро2 и3 злaто, є4же в0лею вдано2 є4сть гDу бGу nтє1цъ нaшихъ:	And I said to them, Ye are holy to the Lord; and the vessels are holy; and the silver and the gold are freewill-offerings to the Lord God of our fathers.

бди1те и3 стреги1те, д0ндеже вёсомъ tдадитE пред8 кн‰зи свzщeнникwвъ и3 леvjтwвъ и3 пред8 кн‰зи nтeчествъ ї}левыхъ во їеrли1мэ, во ски1ніихъ д0му гDнz.	Be watchful and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief priests and the Levites, and the chiefs of families in Jerusalem, at the chambers of the house of the Lord.

И# пріsша свzщeнницы и3 леvjти вёсъ сребрA и3 злaта и3 сосyдwвъ, да вознесyтъ во їеrли1мъ въ д0мъ бGа нaшегw.	So the priests and the Levites took the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring to Jerusalem into the house of our God.

И# воздвиг0хомсz t рёки ґуи2 во вторыйнaдесzть дeнь мцcа пeрвагw, да и4демъ во їеrли1мъ: и3 рукA бGа нaшегw бЁ на нaсъ и3 и3збaви нaсъ t рyкъ врaжіихъ и3 рaтникwвъ на пути2,	And we departed from the river of Aüe on the twelfth day of the first month, to come to Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and delivered us from the hand of the enemy and adversary in the way.

и3 пріид0хомъ во їеrли1мъ и3 пребhхомъ тY три2 дни6.	And we came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days.

И# бhсть въ дeнь четвeртый, tдaхомъ вёсомъ сребро2 и3 злaто и3 сосyды въ домY бGа нaшегw под8 рyку марімHfа сhна ўрjи свzщeнника, и3 съ ни1мъ є3леазaръ сhнъ фінеeсовъ, и3 съ ни1ми їwзавaдъ сhнъ їисyсовъ и3 нwадjа сhнъ ванаjевъ леvjти,	And it came to pass on the fourth day that we weighed the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, in the house of our God, into the hand of Merimoth the son of Uria the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinees, and with them Jozabad the son of Jesus, and Noadia the son of Banaia, the Levites.

по числY и3 вёсу вс‰: и3 напи1санъ бhсть вeсь вёсъ.	All things were reckoned by number and weight, and the whole weight was written down.

Во врeмz то2, и5же пріид0ша t плэнeніz сhнове преселeніz, принес0ша всесожжє1ніz бGу ї}леву, телцє1въ дванaдесzть за всего2 ї}лz, nвнHвъ дeвzтьдесzтъ шeсть, ѓгнцєвъ сeдмьдесzтъ сeдмь, козлHвъ за грэхи2 дванaдесzть, вс‰ во всесожжeніе гDу.	At that time the children of the banishment that came from the captivity offered whole-burnt-offerings to the God of Israel, twelve calves for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, twelve goats for a sin-offering: all whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord.

И# дaша повелёніе царeво прави1телємъ ц†рскимъ и3 кнzзє1мъ, и5же за рэк0ю: и3 прослaвиша людjй и3 д0мъ б9ій.	And they gave the king's mandate to the king's lieutenants, and the governors beyond the river: and they honoured the people and the house of God.

И# є3гдA совершє1на бhша сі‰, приступи1ша ко мнЁ кнsзіе, глаг0люще: не tлучи1шасz лю1діе ї}лєвы и3 свzщeнницы и3 леvjти t людjй земнhхъ, (но) въ мeрзостехъ и4хъ (сyть), и5же сyть хананeє, є3ffeє, ферезeє, їевусeє, ґммwнjтzне, мwавjтzне и3 мосерjтzне и3 ґморрeане,	And when these things were finished, the princes drew near to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands in their abominations, even the Chananite, the Ethite, the Pherezite, the Jebusite, the Ammonite, the Moabite, and the Moserite and the Amorite.

понeже поsша t дщeрей и4хъ себЁ и3 сынHмъ свои6мъ, и3 смэси1сz сёмz свzт0е съ людьми2 земнhми, и3 рукA кнzзeй и3 воев0дъ въ преступлeніи сeмъ въ начaлэ.	For they have taken of their daughters for themselves and their sons; and the holy seed has passed among the nations of the lands, and the hand of the rulers has been first in this transgression.

И# є3гдA ўслhшахъ словесA сі‰, раздрaхъ ри6зы мо‰, и3 вострепетaхъ, и3 терзaхъ власы2 главы2 моеS и3 брады2 моеS, и3 сэд0хъ тужA.	And when I heard this thing, I rent my garments, and trembled, and plucked some of the hairs of my head and of my beard, and sat down mourning.

И# собрaшасz ко мнЁ вси2 боsщіисz сл0ва бGа ї}лева за преступлeніе пришeдшихъ t плэнeніz, и3 ѓзъ сэдsхъ приск0рбенъ дaже до жeртвы вечeрніz.	Then there assembled to me all that followed the word of the God of Israel, on account of the transgression of the captivity; and I remained mourning until the evening sacrifice.

И# въ жeртву вечeрнюю востaхъ t сётованіz моегw2, и3 внегдA раздрaхъ ри6зы мо‰, и3 трепетaхъ, и3 преклони1хъ кwлёна мо‰, и3 простр0хъ руцЁ мои2 ко гDу бGу моемY	And at the evening sacrifice I rose up from my humiliation; and when I had rent my garments, then I trembled, and I bow myself on my knees, and spread out my hands to the Lord God,

и3 рек0хъ: гDи б9е м0й, стыждyсz и3 срамлsюсz воздви1гнути лицE моE къ тебЁ, ћкw беззакHніz н†ша ўмн0жишасz пaче глaвъ нaшихъ, и3 прегрэшє1ніz н†ша возраст0ша дaже до нб7сE:	and I said, O Lord, I am ashamed and confounded, O my God, to lift up my face to thee: for our transgressions have abounded over our head, and our trespasses have increased even to heaven.

t днjй nтє1цъ нaшихъ въ преступлeніи вели1цэмъ є3смы2 дaже до днE сегw2, и3 въ беззак0ніихъ нaшихъ прeдани є3смы2 мы2 и3 цaріе нaши и3 свzщeнницы нaши и3 сhнове нaши въ рукY царeй kзhческихъ, въ мeчь и3 въ плэнeніе, и3 въ расхищeніе и3 въ стыдёніе лицA нaшегw, ћкоже въ дeнь сeй:	From the days of our fathers we have been in a great trespass until this day: and because of our iniquities we, and our kings, and our children, have been delivered into the hand of the kings of the Gentiles by the sword, and by captivity, and by spoil, and with shame of our face, as at this day.

и3 нн7э ўмлcтивисz над8 нaми бGъ нaшъ, є4же њстaвити ны2 во спасeніе и3 дaти нaмъ твeрдость на мёстэ с™hни є3гw2, є4же просвэти1ти nчесA н†ша и3 дaти њживлeніе мaлое въ раб0тэ нaшей:	And now our God has dealt mercifully with us, so as to leave us to escape, and to give us an establishment in the place of his sanctuary, to enlighten our eyes, and to give a little quickening in our servitude.

ћкw раби2 є3смы2, и3 въ раб0тэ нaшей не њстaви нaсъ гDь бGъ нaшъ: и3 преклони2 на нaсъ милосeрдіе пред8 цари6 пeрсскими, дaти нaмъ жив0тъ, є4же воздви1гнути и5мъ д0мъ бGу нaшему и3 возстaвити запустBвшаz є3гw2, и3 дaти нaмъ њграждeніе во їудeи и3 їеrли1мэ:	For we are slaves, yet in our servitude the Lord our God has not deserted us; and he has extended favour to us in the sight of the kings of the Persians, to give us a quickening, that they should raise up the house of our God, and restore the desolate places of it, and to give us a fence in Juda and Jerusalem.

и3 нн7э что2 речeмъ, б9е нaшъ, по сeмъ; ћкw њстaвихомъ повелBніz тво‰,	What shall we say, our God, after this? for we have forsaken thy commandments,

±же дaлъ є3си2 нaмъ рук0ю р†бъ твои1хъ прbр0кwвъ, гlz: землS, на ню1же вы2 вх0дите наслёдити ю5, землS нечистA є4сть, по нечистотЁ людjй kзhческихъ, въ мeрзостехъ и4хъ, и4миже нап0лниша ю5 t ќстъ дaже до ќстъ во сквернeніихъ свои1хъ,	which thou hast given us by the hand of thy servants the prophets, saying, The land, into which ye go to inherit it, is a land subject to disturbance by the removal of the people of the nations for their abominations, wherewith they have filled it from one end to the other by their uncleannesses.

и3 нн7э дщeрей вaшихъ не дади1те сынHмъ и4хъ и3 дщeрей и4хъ не пріeмлите сыновHмъ вaшымъ, и3 не и3щи1те ми1ра и4хъ и3 блaга и4хъ дaже до вёка, ћкw да ўкрэпи1тесz и3 снёсте благ†z земли2, и3 наслёдіе дадитE сыновHмъ вaшымъ дaже до вёка:	And now give not your daughters to their sons, and take not of their daughters for your sons, neither shall ye seek their peace or their good for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and transmit it as an inheritance to your children for ever.

и3 по всёхъ, ±же пріид0ша на нaсъ въ дёлэхъ нaшихъ ѕлhхъ и3 грэсЁ нaшемъ вели1цэмъ, понeже нёсть ћкоже бGъ нaшъ, и4же и3збaвилъ є3си2 нaсъ t беззак0ній нaшихъ и3 дaлъ є3си2 нaмъ спcніе:	And after all that is come upon us because of our evil deeds, and our great trespass, it is clear that there is none such as our God, for thou hast lightly visited our iniquities, and given us deliverance;

занE њбрати1хомсz разори1ти зaпwвэди тво‰ и3 смэси1тисz съ людьми2 земнhми: не прогнёвайсz на нaсъ дaже до скончaніz, є4же не бhти њстaнку и3 спасaемому:	whereas we have repeatedly broken thy commandments, and intermarried with the people of the lands: be not very angry with us to our utter destruction, so that there should be no remnant or escaping one.

гDи б9е ї}левъ, првdнъ є3си2 ты2, ћкw њстaхомсz спасeни, ћкоже дeнь сeй: сE, мы2 пред8 тоб0ю є3смы2 вси2 въ беззак0ніихъ нaшихъ, понeже не возм0жно стaти пред8 тоб0ю сегw2 рaди.	O Lord God of Israel, thou art righteous; for we remain yet escaped, as at this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee on this account.

И# є3гдA молsшесz є4здра и3 є3гдA и3сповёдашесz плaчущь и3 молsсz пред8 д0момъ б9іимъ, собрaшасz къ немY t ї}лz собрaніе вeліе ѕэлw2, мyжіе и3 жєны2 и3 џтроцы ћкw плaкахусz лю1діе и3 вознес0ша плaчь.	So when Esdras had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and praying before the house of God, a very great assembly of Israel came together to him, men and women and youths; for the people wept, and wept aloud.

И# tвэщA сехенjа сhнъ їеи1левъ t сынHвъ и3лaмлихъ и3 речE є4здрэ: мы2 преступи1хомъ пред8 бGомъ нaшимъ и3 поsхомъ жєны2 чужд‡z t людjй земли2, и3 нн7э є4сть ўповaніе ї}лю њ сeмъ:	And Sechenias the son of Jeel, of the sons of Elam, answered and said to Esdras, We have broken covenant with our God, and have taken strange wives of the nations of the land: yet now there is patience of hope to Israel concerning this thing.

и3 нн7э завэщaемъ завётъ бGу нaшему, да tвeржемъ вс‰ жєны2 и3 рождeныхъ t ни1хъ, ћкоже х0щетъ: востaни и3 ўстраши2 и5хъ зaповэдьми бGа нaшегw, и3 по зак0ну да бyдетъ:	Now then let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and their offspring, as thou shalt advise:

востaни, понeже на тебЁ є4сть глаг0лъ, и3 мы2 съ тоб0ю: ўкрэпи1сz и3 сотвори2.	arise, and alarm them with the commands of our God; and let it be done according to the law. Rise up, for the matter is upon thee; and we are with thee: be strong and do.

И# востA є4здра, и3 заклS кн‰зи, свzщeнники и3 леvjты и3 всего2 ї}лz, да сотворsтъ по словеси2 семY. И# клsшасz.	Then Esdras arose, and caused the rulers, the priests, and Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they would do according to this word: and they swore.

И# востA є4здра t лицA д0му б9іz и3 и4де въ сокр0вищный д0мъ їwнaна сhна є3лісyвова и3 сёде тaмw: хлёба не kдE и3 воды2 не пи2, плaкаше бо њ преступлeніи пришeдшихъ t плэнeніz.	And Esdras rose up from before the house of God, and went to the treasury of Joanan the son of Elisub; he even went thither: he ate no bread, and drank no water; for he mourned over the unfaithfulness of them of the captivity.

И# п0слано бhсть сл0во во їудeю и3 во їеrли1мъ всBмъ сыновHмъ преселeніz, да соберyтсz во їеrли1мъ:	And they made proclamation throughout Juda and Jerusalem to all the children of the captivity, that they should assemble at Jerusalem, saying,

всsкъ, и4же ѓще не пріи1детъ въ три2 дни6, по совёту кнzзeй и3 старёйшинъ, в0зметсz всE и3мёніе є3гw2, и3 т0й tлучeнъ бyдетъ t с0нмища преселeніz.	Every one who shall not arrive within three days, as is the counsel of the rulers and the elders, all his substance shall be forfeited, and he shall be separated from the congregation of the captivity.

И# собрaшасz вси2 мyжіе ї{дины и3 веніам‡ни во їеrли1мъ трeми дeнми: сeй є4сть мцcъ девsтый: въ двадесsтый дeнь мцcа сэд0ша вси2 лю1діе пред8 д0момъ б9іимъ трепeщуще њ словеси2 и3 t зимы2.	So all the men of Juda and Benjamin assembled at Jerusalem within the three days. This was the ninth month: on the twentieth day of the month all the people sat down in the street of the house of the Lord, because of their alarm concerning the word, and because of the storm.

И# востA є4здра свzщeнникъ и3 речE къ ни6мъ: вы2 преступи1сте и3 взsсте жєны2 и3ноплемє1ннически, є4же приложи1ти ко грэхY ї}леву:	And Esdras the priest arose, and said to them, Ye have broken covenant, and have taken strange wives, to add to the trespass of Israel.

и3 нн7э дади1те хвалY гDу бGу nтє1цъ нaшихъ, и3 сотвори1те ўг0дное пред8 ни1мъ, и3 tлучи1тесz t людjй земли2 и3 t жeнъ и3ноплемeнническихъ.	Now therefore give praise to the Lord God of our fathers, and do that which is pleasing in his sight: and separate yourselves from the peoples of the land, and from the strange wives.

И# tвэщaша всE мн0жество глaсомъ вели1кимъ и3 рёша: по словеси2 твоемY къ нaмъ сотвори1мъ:	Then all the congregation answered and said, This thy word is powerful upon us to do it.

nбaче лю1діе мн0зи сyть, и3 врeмz зи1мнее, и3 нёсть м0щно стоsти внЁ: и3 дёло нёсть днE є3ди1нагw и3ли2 двyхъ, ѕэлw2 бо мн0гw согрэши1хомъ во словеси2 сeмъ:	But the people is numerous, and the season is stormy, and there is no power to stand without, and the work is more than enough for one day or for two; for we have greatly sinned in this matter.

да постaвzтсz кнsзіе нaши во всeмъ мн0жествэ и3 во всёхъ градёхъ нaшихъ, и5же поsша жєны2 и3ноплемє1нничи, да пріи1дутъ во временA повєлённаz, и3 съ ни1ми старBйшины t всsкагw грaда и3 судіи6, є4же tврати1ти гнёвъ ћрости бGа нaшегw t нaсъ словесE рaди сегw2.	Let now our rulers stand, and for all those in our cities who have taken strange wives, let them come at appointed times, and with them elders from every several city, and judges, to turn away the fierce wrath of our God from us concerning this matter.

Nбaче їwнаfaнъ сhнъ ґсаи1левъ и3 їaсса сhнъ fекyевъ со мн0ю њ сeмъ, и3 месоллaмъ и3 саваfaй леvjтинъ помагazй и5мъ.	Only Jonathan the son of Asael, and Jazias the son of Thecoe were with me concerning this; and Mesollam, and Sabbathai the Levite helped them.

И# сотвори1ша тaкw сhнове преселeніz: и3 разыд0шасz є4здра свzщeнникъ и3 мyжіе кнsзіе nтeчествъ въ д0мы, и3 вси2 по и3менHмъ, ћкw њбрати1шасz въ дeнь пeрвый мцcа десsтагw, да взhщутъ глаг0ла:	And the children of the captivity did thus: and Esdras the priest, and heads of families according to their house were separated, and all by their names, for they returned in the first day of the tenth month to search out the matter.

и3 соверши1ша во всёхъ мужeхъ, и5же поsша жєны2 и3ноплемє1нничи, дaже до днE пeрвагw мцcа пeрвагw.	And they made an end with all the men who had taken strange wives by the first day of the first month.

И# њбрётени сyть t сынHвъ свzщeнническихъ и5же введ0ша жєны2 и3ноплемє1нничи, t сынHвъ їисyса сhна їwседeкова и3 брaтіz є3гw2 маасjа и3 є3ліезeръ, и3 їари1мъ и3 гадалjа:	And there were found some of the sons of the priests who had taken strange wives: of the sons of Jesus the son of Josedec, and his brethren; Maasia, and Eliezer, and Jarib, and Gadalia.

и3 дaша рyки сво‰ и3згони1ти жєны2 сво‰, и3 согрэши1вшіи принес0ша t nвeцъ њ преступлeніи своeмъ nвнA:	And they pledged themselves to put away their wives, and offered a ram of the flock for a trespass-offering because of their trespass.
20	20
и3 t сынHвъ є3мми1ровыхъ ґнанjй и3 завдjа:	And of the sons of Emmer; Anani, and Zabdia.
21	21
и3 t сынHвъ и3рaмлихъ маасjа и3 є3ллjа, и3 самjа и3 їеіи1лъ и3 nзjа:	And of the sons of Eram; Masael, and Elia, and Samaia, and Jeel, and Ozia.
22	22
и3 t сынHвъ фассyровыхъ є3ліwинaй, маасjа и3 їсмaилъ, и3 наfанaель и3 їwзавaдъ и3 и3ласA:	And of the sons of Phasur; Elionai, Maasia, and Ismael, and Nathanael, and Jozabad, and Elasa.

и3 t леvjтwвъ їwзавaдъ и3 fамyй и3 кwлjа, т0йже и3 кwлjтъ, и3 феfеjа, и3 їyда и3 є3ліeзеръ:	And of the Levites; Jozabad, and Samu, and Colia (he is Colitas,) and Phetheia, and Judas, and Eliezer.

и3 t пэвцє1въ є3лісaвъ: и3 t двє1рникъ солми1нъ и3 телми1нъ и3 nдyа:	And of the singers; Elisab: and of the porters; Solmen, and Telmen, and Oduth.

и3 t ї}лz, t сынHвъ фор0совыхъ рамjа и3 ґзjа, и3 мелхjа и3 мелми1нъ, и3 є3ліазaръ и3 ґсавjа и3 ванeа:	Also of Israel: of the sons of Phoros; Ramia, and Azia, and Melchia, and Meamin, and Eleazar, and Asabia, and Banaia.

и3 t сынHвъ и3лaмовыхъ матfанjа и3 захaріа, и3 їаіи1лъ и3 ґвдjй, и3 їерімHfъ и3 и3лjа:	And of the sons of Helam; Matthania, and Zacharia, and Jaïel, and Abdia, and Jarimoth, and Elia.

и3 t сынHвъ заfyевыхъ є3ліwнaй, є3лісyвъ, маfанaй и3 ґрмHfъ, и3 завaдъ и3 nзізA:	And of the sons of Zathua; Elionai, Elisub, Matthanai, and Armoth, and Zabad, and Oziza.

и3 t сынHвъ вавeиныхъ їwнaнъ, ґнанjа и3 завyй и3 fалJ:	And of the sons of Babei; Joanan, Anania, and Zabu, and Thali.

и3 t сынHвъ ванyевыхъ мосоллaмъ, маллyхъ, ґдаjа, їасyвъ и3 саaлъ и3 римHfъ:	And of the sons of Banui; Mosollam, Maluch, Adaias, Jasub, and Saluia, and Remoth.

и3 t сынHвъ фаafъ-мwaвлихъ є3днeа и3 хали1лъ и3 ванаjа, маасjа, матfанjа, веселеи1лъ и3 ванyй и3 манассjи:	And of the sons of Phaath Moab; Edne, and Chalel, and Banaia, Maasia, Matthania, Beseleel, and Banui, and Manasse.

и3 t сынHвъ и3рaмовыхъ є3ліезeръ, їесjа, мелхjа, самаjа, семеHнъ,	And of the sons of Eram; Eliezer, Jesia, Melchia, Samaias, Semeon,

махнадA, ґвусесeй,	Machadnabu, Sesei, Sariu,

ґруесріи1лъ и3 самарjа,	Ezriel, and Selemia, and Samaria,

селлyмъ, ґмарjа, їHсифъ:	and Sellum, Amaria, Joseph.

t сынHвъ навyиныхъ їеіи1лъ, маfаfjа, завaдъ, зевенaй, їадaй и3 їwи1ль и3 ванeа.	Of the sons of Nabu; Jael, Matthanias, Zabad, Zebennas, Jadai, and Joel, and Banaia.

Вси2 тjи поsша жєны2 и3ноплемє1ннически, и3 роди1ша t ни1хъ сhны.	All these had taken strange wives, and had begotten sons of them.
