Now in the first year of Cyrus king of the Persians, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremias might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of the Persians, and he issued a proclamation through all his kingdom, and that in writing, saying,	Въ лёто пeрвое кЂра царS пeрсскагw, да и3сп0лнитсz сл0во гDне t ќстъ їеремjиныхъ, воздви1же гDь дyхъ кЂра царS пeрсскагw, и3 повелЁ проповёдати во всeмъ цaрствіи своeмъ, и3 писaньми, глаг0лz:

Thus said Cyrus king of the Persians, The Lord God of heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has given me a charge to build him a house in Jerusalem that is in Judea.	сі‰ глаг0летъ кЂръ цaрь пeрсскій: вс‰ ц†рства зємнaz дадE мнЁ гDь бGъ нбcный, и3 т0й повелЁ ми, да сози1жду є3мY д0мъ во їеrли1мэ, и4же во їудeи:

Who is there among you of all his people? for his God shall be with him, and he shall go up to Jerusalem that is in Judea, and let him build the house of the God of Israel: he is the God that is in Jerusalem.	кто2 въ вaсъ t всёхъ людjй є3гw2; и3 бyдетъ бGъ є3гw2 съ ни1мъ, и3 да взhдетъ во їеrли1мъ, и4же во їудeи, и3 да сози1ждетъ д0мъ бGу ї}леву, т0й є4сть бGъ, и4же во їеrли1мэ:

And let every Jew that is left go from every place where he sojourns, and the men of his place shall help him with silver, and gold, and goods, and cattle, together with the voluntary offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.	и3 всsкъ њстaвшійсz t всёхъ мёстъ, и3дёже т0й њбитaетъ, и3 да пом0гутъ є3мY мyжіе t мёста є3гw2 сребр0мъ и3 злaтомъ, и3 сос{ды и3 скwты2, съ добров0льными њбэщ†ніи (принесyтъ) въ цeрковь б9ію, ћже во їеrли1мэ.

Then the chiefs of the families of Juda and Benjamin arose, and the priests, and the Levites, all whose spirit the Lord stirred up to go up to build the house of the Lord that is in Jerusalem.	И# востaша кн‰зи nтeчествъ їyдиныхъ и3 веніамjнихъ и3 свzщeнницы и3 леvjти, и3 вси2, и5мже воздви1же бGъ дyхъ и4хъ, да взhдутъ созидaнію цeркве гDни, ћже во їеrли1мэ:

And all that were round about strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with cattle, and with presents, besides the voluntary offerings.	и3 вси2, и5же бsху w4крестъ, помог0ша рукaмъ и4хъ сос{ды срeбрбzными, злaтомъ, потрeбными, и3 скотaми, и3 драги1ми вещми2, кромЁ добров0льных.

And king Cyrus brought out the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nabuchodonosor had brought from Jerusalem, and put in the house of his god.	И# цaрь кЂръ и3знесE сосyды цeркве гDни, и5хже взS навуходон0соръ и3з8 їеrли1ма и3 положи2 ты6z въ цeркви б0га своегw2:

And Cyrus king of the Persians brought them out by the hand of Mithradates the treasurer, and he numbered them to Sasabasar, the chief man of Juda.	и3знесe же ты6z кЂръ цaрь пeрсскій рук0ю міfрідaта гасвари1нова, и3 сочтE ты6z сасавассaру кнsзю їудeйску.

And this is their number: thirty gold basons, and a thousand silver basons, nine and twenty changes, thirty golden goblets,	И# сіE число2 и4хъ: ўмывaлницъ златhхъ три1десzть, ўмывaлницъ же срeбрzныхъ тhсzща, ножeй двaдесzть дeвzть,

and four hundred and ten double silver vessels, and a thousand other vessels.	и3 чaшъ златhхъ три1десzть, и3 срeбрzныхъ двойнhхъ четhреста дeсzть, и3 сосyдwвъ и3нhхъ тhсzща:

All the gold and silver vessels were five thousand four hundred, even all that went up with Sasabasar from the place of transportation, from Babylon to Jerusalem.	всёхъ сосyдwвъ златhхъ и3 срeбрzныхъ пsть тhсzщъ и3 четhреста, вс‰ взS съ соб0ю сасавассaръ t преселeніz вавmлHнскагw во їеrли1мъ.

And these are the people of the land that went up, of the number of prisoners who were removed, whom Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon carried away to Babylon, and they returned to Juda and Jerusalem, every man to his city;	Сjи же сyть сhнове страны2, и5же взыд0ша t плёна преселeніz, и5хже пресели2 навуходон0соръ цaрь вавmлHнскій въ вавmлHнъ: и3 возврати1шасz во їеrли1мъ и3 їудeю кjйждо мyжъ во грaдъ св0й.

And of the children of the priests, the children of Labeia, the children of Akkus, the children of Berzellai, who took a wife of the daughter of Berzellai the Galaadite, and was called by their name.	и3 t сынHвъ свzщeнническихъ сhнове nваjєвы, сhнове ґккyсwвы, сhнове верзеллaєвы, и4же поS t дщeрей верзеллaа галаадjтина женY и3 наречeсz и4менемъ и4хъ:

These sought their genealogy as though they had been reckoned, but they were not found; and they were removed, as polluted, from the priesthood.	тjи и3скaша писaніz р0ду своемY и3 не њбрэт0ша, и3 и3згнaни сyть t свzщeнства.

And the Athersastha told them that they should not eat of the most holy things, until a priest should arise with Lights and Perfections.	И# речE ґfерсаfA и5мъ, да не kдsтъ t с™aгw с™hхъ, д0ндеже востaнетъ свzщeнникъ со и3з8zвлeніемъ и3 и4стиною.

And all the congregation together were about forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty;	Всe же мн0жество кyпнw ћкw четhри тмы6 двЁ тhсzщы три1ста шестьдесsтъ,

besides their men-servants and maid-servants, and these were seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven: and among these were two hundred singing men and singing women.	кромЁ рабHвъ и4хъ и3 рабhнь и4хъ, си1хъ сeдмь тhсzщъ три1ста три1десzть сeдмь: и3 сjи пэвцы2 и3 пэвни6цы двёсти.

And some of the chiefs of families, when they went into the house of the Lord that was in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God, to establish it on its prepared place.	И# t кнzзeй nтeчествъ, є3гдA вхождaху тjи въ цeрковь гDню, ћже во їеrли1мэ, добров0льнw принес0ша въ д0мъ б9ій, постaвити є3го2 на њсновaніи є3гw2:

According to their power they gave into the treasury of the work pure gold sixty-one thousand pieces, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.	по си1лэ своeй дaша въ росх0дъ дёла, злaта дрaхмъ шестьдесsтъ тhсzщъ и3 тhсzщу, и3 сребрA мн†съ пsть тhсzщъ, и3 њдэsній свzщeнническихъ сто2.

So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nathinim, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.	И# сэд0ша свzщeнницы и3 леvjти, и3 и5же t людjй, и3 пэвцы2 и3 двє1рницы и3 наfінjмлzне во градёхъ свои1хъ, и3 вeсь ї}ль во градёхъ свои1хъ.

And the seventh month came on, and the children of Israel were in their cities, and the people assembled as one man at Jerusalem.	Пришeдшу же мцcу седм0му, и3 бsху сhнове ї}лєвы во градёхъ свои1хъ, и3 собрaшасz лю1діе ѓки человBкъ є3ди1нъ во їеrли1мъ.

Then stood up Jesus the son of Josedec, and his brethren the priests, and Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, and his brethren, and they built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer upon it whole-burnt-offerings, according to the things that were written in the law of Moses the man of God.	И# востA їисyсъ сhнъ їwседeковъ и3 брaтіz є3гw2 свzщeнницы, и3 зоровaвель сhнъ салаfіи1левъ и3 брaтіz є3гw2, и3 создaша nлтaрь бGу ї}леву, да принесyтъ на нeмъ всесожжє1ніz, ћкоже пи1сано є4сть въ зак0нэ мwmсeа человёка б9іz.

And they set up the altar on its place, for there was a terror upon them because of the people of the lands: and the whole-burnt-offering was offered up upon it to the Lord morning and evening.	И# ўгот0ваша nлтaрь на њсновaніи є3гw2, понeже стрaхъ бЁ на ни1хъ t людjй земнhхъ, и3 вознес0ша на т0мъ всесожжeніе гDеви ќтрw и3 въ вeчеръ:

And they kept the feast of tabernacles, according to that which was written, and offered whole-burnt-offerings daily in number according to the ordinance, the exact daily rate.	и3 сотвори1ша прaздникъ кyщей, ћкоже пи1сано, и3 всесожжє1ніz на всsкъ дeнь числ0мъ по повелёнію, дёло днE въ дeнь св0й:

And after this the perpetual whole-burnt-offering, and offering for the season of new moon, and for all the hallowed feasts to the Lord, and for every one that offered a free-will-offering to the Lord.	и3 посeмъ всесожжє1ніz непрест†ннаz и3 въ новомчcіz и3 во вс‰ прaздники гDеви њсвzщє1нныz, и3 њ всsцэмъ добров0льнw приносsщемъ со ўсeрдіемъ гDеви.

On the first day of the seventh month they began to offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord: but the foundation of the house of the Lord was not laid.	T пeрвагw днE мцcа седмaгw начaша возноси1ти всесожжє1ніz гDеви, д0мъ же гDень не бЁ є3щE њсновaнъ.

And they gave money to the stone-hewers and carpenters, and meat and drink, and oil, to the Sidonians, and Tyrians, to bring cedar trees from Libanus to the sea of Joppa, according to the grant of Cyrus king of the Persians to them.	И# вдaша пBнzзи каменосёчцємъ и3 древодёлємъ, пи1щу же и3 питіE и3 є3лeй сідHнzнwмъ и3 тЂрzнwмъ, да принесyтъ древA кeдрwва t лівaна къ м0рю їоппjйскому, ћкоже соизв0ли кЂръ цaрь пeрсскій њ ни1хъ.

And in the second year of their coming to the house of God in Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, and Jesus the son of Josedec, and the rest of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all who came from the captivity to Jerusalem, and they appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, over the workmen in the house of the Lord.	И# въ лёто втор0е, внегдA пріити2 и5мъ къ д0му б9ію во їеrли1мъ, мцcа вторaгw начA зоровaвель сhнъ салаfіи1левъ и3 їисyсъ сhнъ їwседeковъ, и3 пр0чіи t брaтіи и4хъ свzщeнницы и3 леvjти, и3 вси2, и5же пріид0ша t плэнeніz во їеrли1мъ, и3 постaвиша леvjтwвъ t двaдесzти лётъ и3 вhшше над8 творsщими дэлA во хрaмэ гDни.

And Jesus and his sons and his brethren stood, Cadmiel and his sons the sons of Juda, over them that wrought the works in the house of God: the sons of Enadad, their sons and their brethren the Levites.	И# стA їисyсъ и3 сhнове є3гw2 и3 брaтіz є3гw2, кадои1лъ и3 сhнове є3гw2, сhнове ї{дины, ћкоже мyжъ є3ди1нъ да є3динодyшнw настоsтъ над8 творsщими дэлA въ домY б9іи, сhнове и3надaдwвы, сhнове и4хъ и3 брaтіz и4хъ леvjти.

And they laid a foundation for building the house of the Lord: and the priests in their robes stood with trumpets and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the Lord, according to the order of David king of Israel.	И# њсновAша созидaюще д0мъ гDень: и3 стaша свzщeнницы во ўкрашeніи своeмъ со трубaми, и3 леvjти сhнове ґсaфwвы, въ кmмвaлэхъ да хвaлzтъ гDа, по ўстaву давjда царS ї}лева:

And they answered each other with praise and thanksgiving to the Lord, saying, For it is good, for his mercy to Israel endures for ever. And all the people shouted with a loud voice to praise the Lord at the laying the foundation of the house of the Lord.	и3 вопіsху въ пёснехъ и3 и3сповёданіи гDеви, ћкw бlгъ, ћкw въ вёкъ млcть є3гw2 над8 ї}лемъ: и3 вси2 лю1діе возглашaху глaсомъ вели1кимъ хвалeніе гDу при њсновaніи д0му гDнz.

But many of the priests and the Levites, and the elder men, heads of families, who had seen the former house on its foundation, and who saw this house with their eyes, wept with a loud voice: but the multitude shouted with joy to raise a song.	И# мн0зи t свzщeнникwвъ и3 леv‡тъ, и3 кн‰зи nтeчествъ и3 старBйшины, и5же ви1дэша д0мъ прeждній на њсновaніи своeмъ, и3 сeй д0мъ пред8 nчесы2 свои1ми, плaкаху глaсомъ вeліимъ: и3 нар0дъ возглашaющь, въ весeліи возвышaху:

And they that afflicted Juda and Benjamin heard, that the children of the captivity were building a house to the Lord God of Israel.	И# ўслhшаша врази2 ї{дины и3 веніам‡ни, ћкw сhнове преселeніz созидaютъ цeрковь гDу бGу ї}леву,

And they drew near to Zorobabel, and to the heads of families, and said to them, We will build with you; for as ye do, we seek to serve our God, and we do sacrifice to him from the days of Asaradan king of Assur, who brought us hither.	и3 приступи1ша къ зоровaвелю и3 ко кнzзє1мъ nтeчествъ и3 рек0ша и5мъ: сози1ждемъ съ вaми, понeже, ћкоже и3 вы2, и4щемъ бGа вaшего и3 є3мY мы2 жрeмъ жeртву t днjй ґсарадaна царS ґссyрска привeдшагw ны сёмw.

Then Zorobabel, and Jesus and the rest of the heads of the families of Israel said to them, It is not for us and you to build a house to our God, for we ourselves will build together to the Lord our God, as Cyrus the king of the Persians commanded us. And the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Juda, and hindered them in building,	И# бhша лю1діе земли2 (тоS) њслаблsюще рyки людjй їудeйскіхъ, и3 препинaху и5мъ въ созидaніи,

and continued hiring persons against them, plotting to frustrate their counsel, all the days of Cyrus king of the Persians, and until the reign of Darius king of the Persians.	и3 наимaху на ни1хъ совётникwвъ, да разорsтъ совётъ и4хъ, во вс‰ дни6 кЂра царS пeрсскагw и3 дaже до цaрства дaріа царS пeрсскагw.

And in the reign of Assuerus, even in the beginning of his reign, they wrote a letter against the inhabitants of Juda and Jerusalem.	Въ цaрство же ґссуи1ра, (и4же є4сть ґртаxeрxъ,) въ начaлэ цaрства є3гw2, написaша сви1токъ на живyщихъ во їудeи и3 во їеrли1мэ.

And in the days of Arthasastha, Tabeel wrote peaceably to Mithradates and to the rest of his fellow-servants: the tribute-gatherer wrote to Arthasastha king of the Persians a writing in the Syrian tongue, and the same interpreted. This is the purport of the letter, which they sent to him: Thy servants the men beyond the river to king Arthasastha.	СіE є4сть сказaніе послaніz, є4же послaша къ немY, ко ґртаxeрxу царю2: раби2 твои2, мyжіе, и5же за рэк0ю:

Be it known to the king, that the Jews who came up from thee to us have come to Jerusalem the rebellious and wicked city, which they are building, and its walls are set in order, and they have established the foundations of it.	вёдомо да бyдетъ царю2, ћкw їудeє, и5же взыд0ша t тебє2 къ нaмъ, пріид0ша во їеrли1мъ грaдъ tстyпный и3 лукaвый, є3г0же созидaютъ: и3 стёны є3гw2 состр0єны сyть, и3 њсновaніе є3гw2 возвhсиша:

Now then be it known to the king, that if that city be built up, and its walls completed, thou shalt have no tribute, neither will they pay anything, and this injures kings.	нн7э u5бо вёдомо да бyдетъ царю2, ћкw, ѓще грaдъ сeй с0зданъ бyдетъ, и3 стёны є3гw2 совершaтсz, д†ни не бyдутъ тебЁ, нижE (лётнzгw воздаsніz) дадyтъ: и3 сіE царє1мъ ѕло2 твори1тъ,

And it is not lawful for us to see the dishonour of the king: therefore have we sent and made known the matter to the king;	и3 посрамощeніz царeва не лёть нaмъ ви1дэти: сегw2 рaди послaхомъ и3 возвэсти1хомъ царю2,

that examination may be made in thy fathers' book of record; and thou shalt find, and thou shalt know that that city is rebellious, and does harm to kings and countries, and there are in the midst of it from very old time refuges for runaway slaves: therefore this city has been made desolate.	да разсм0трено бyдетъ въ кни1зэ памzтопи1снэй nтцє1въ твои1хъ, и3 њбрsщеши въ кни1зэ памzтопи1снэй и3 познaеши, ћкw грaдъ w4нъ tстyпный є4сть и3 њби1дzщь царeй и3 страны6, и3 ўбBжища слyгъ бывaютъ посредЁ є3гw2 t днjй дрeвнихъ, сегw2 рaди и3 грaдъ т0й њпустошeнъ є4сть:

And a decree has been made by me, and we have examined, and found that that city of old time exalts itself against kings, and that rebellions and desertions take place within it.	и3 t менє2 повелёно є4сть, и3 соглsдахомъ и3 њбрэт0хомъ, ћкw грaдъ т0й t днjй дрeвнихъ на царeй возн0ситсz, tступлє1ніz и3 ўбBжища бывaютъ въ нeмъ:

And there were powerful kings in Jerusalem, and they ruled over all the country beyond the river, and abundant revenues and tribute were given to them.	и3 цaріе крёпцы бhша во їеrли1мэ и3 њбладaху всeю стран0ю, ћже за рэк0ю, д†ни же мнHги и3 чaсть давaшесz и5мъ:

Now therefore make a decree to stop the work of those men, and that city shall no more be built.	и3 нн7э повели1те мужє1мъ w4нымъ престaти t дёла, и3 грaдъ џный да не созидaетсz ктомY:

See that ye be careful of the decree, not to be remiss concerning this matter, lest at any time destruction should abound to the harm of kings.	ћкw да t повелёніz сегw2 њпaсни бyдете нерадёніе твори1ти њ сeмъ, да не когдA ўмн0житсz поги1бель на ѕло2 царє1мъ.

Then the tribute-gatherer of king Arthasastha read the letter before Reum the chancellor, and Sampsa the scribe, and his fellow-servants: and they went in haste to Jerusalem and through Juda, and caused them to cease with horses and an armed force.	ТогдA писмон0сецъ ґртаxeрxа царS прочтE сви1токъ пред8 реyмомъ валтаaмомъ и3 самpaемъ книг0чіемъ и3 сослужи1телми и4хъ: и3 и3д0ша тщaтелнw во їеrли1мъ и3 во їудeю, и3 ўдержaша и5хъ мhшцею си1льною.

Then ceased the work of the house of God in Jerusalem, and it was at a stand until the second year of the reign of Darius king of the Persians.	ТогдA престA дёло д0му б9іz, є4же во їеrли1мэ, и3 не творsшесz дaже до лёта вторaгw цaрства дaріа царS пeрсскагw.

And Aggæus the prophet, and Zacharias the son of Addo, prophesied a prophecy to the Jews in Juda and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, even to them.	Прbр0чествова же ґггeй прbр0къ и3 захaріа сhнъ ѓддwвъ прорицaніе ко їудewмъ, и5же бsху во їудeи и3 їеrли1мэ, во и4мz бGа ї}лева на ни1хъ.

Then rose up Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, and Jesus the son of Josedec, and began to build the house of God that was in Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God assisting them.	ТогдA востaста зоровaвель сhнъ салаfіи1левъ и3 їисyсъ сhнъ їwседeковъ и3 начaста здaти д0мъ б9ій, и4же во їеrли1мэ: и3 съ ни1ма прbр0цы б9іи помогaюще и4ма.

At the same time came there upon them Thanthanai, the governor on this side the river, and Satharbuzanai, and their fellow-servants, and spoke thus to them, Who has ordained a decree for you to build this house, and to provide this preparation? Then they spoke thus to them, What are the names of the men that build this city?	ТогдA сі‰ рек0ша и5мъ: к†z сyть и3менA мужeй созидaющихъ грaдъ сeй;

But the eyes of God were upon the captivity of Juda, and they did not cause them to cease till the decree was brought to Darius; and then was sent by the tribute-gatherer concerning this	И# џчи б9іи на плэнeніе їyдино, и3 не возбрани1ша и5мъ, д0ндеже послaніе къ дaрію tнесeно, и3 тогдA послaсz съ писмон0сцемъ њ сeмъ.

the copy of a letter, which Thanthanai, the governor of the part on this side the river, and Satharbuzanai, and their fellow-servants the Apharsachæans who were on this side of the river, sent to king Darius.	И#з8zвлeніе послaніz, є4же послA fаfанaй кнsзь њб8 w4нъ п0лъ рэки2 и3 саfарвузанaй и3 сослужи1теліе и4хъ ґфарсахeє, и5же бsху за рэк0ю, дaрію царю2:

They sent an account to him, and thus it was written in it: All peace to king Darius.	словесы2 послaша къ немY, и3 сі‰ пи6сана въ нeмъ: дaрію царю2 ми1ръ всsкъ:

Be it known to the king, that we went into the land of Judea, to the house of the great God; and it is building with choice stones, and they are laying timbers in the walls, and that work is prospering, and goes on favourably in their hands.	вёдомо да бyдетъ царю2, ћкw ходи1хомъ во їудeйскую странY къ д0му бGа вели1кагw, и3 т0й созидaетсz кaменіемъ и3збрaннымъ, и3 древA стaвzтсz въ стэнaхъ, дёло же то2 со тщaніемъ стр0итсz и3 благопоспэшaетсz въ рукaхъ и4хъ:

Then we asked those elders, and thus we said to them, Who gave you the order to build this house, and to provide this preparation?	тогдA вопроси1хомъ старёйшинъ тёхъ и3 тaкw рек0хомъ и5мъ: кто2 дадE вaмъ влaсть д0мъ сeй созидaти и3 стёны сі‰ возставлsти;

And we asked them their names, in order to declare them to thee, so as to write to thee the names of their leading men.	и3 њ и4менэхъ и4хъ вопроси1хомъ и5хъ, да возвэсти1мъ тебЁ, ћкw да напи1шемъ тебЁ и3менA мужeй, и5же сyть нач†лницы и4хъ:

And they answered us thus, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are building the house which had been built many years before this, and a great king of Israel built it, and established it for them.	и3 сицєвA словесA tвэщaша нaмъ глаг0люще: мы2 є3смы2 раби2 бGа нб7сE и3 земли2, и3 созидaемъ д0мъ, и4же бhсть ўстр0енъ прeжде сегw2 за лBта мнHга, и3 цaрь ї}левъ вели1кій создA є3го2 и3 соверши2 є3го2 и5мъ:

But after that our fathers provoked the God of heaven, he gave them into the hands of Nabuchodonosor the Chaldean, king of Babylon, and he destroyed this house, and carried the people captive to Babylon.	є3гдa же прогнёваша nтцы2 нaши бGа нбcнаго, предадE и5хъ въ рyки навуходон0сора царS вавmлHнскагw халдeанина, и3 д0мъ сeй разори2 и3 лю1ди преведE въ вавmлHнъ:

And in the first year of king Cyrus, Cyrus the king made a decree that this house of God should be built.	но въ лёто пeрвое кЂра царS, кЂръ цaрь вавmлHнскій постaви повелёніе, да д0мъ б9ій сeй сози1ждетсz,

And the gold and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nabuchodonosor brought out from the house that was in Jerusalem, and carried them into the temple of the king, them did king Cyrus bring out from the temple of the king, and gave them to Sabanasar the treasurer, who was over the treasure;	и3 сосyды д0му б9іz златы6z и3 срє1брzныz, ±же навуходон0соръ взS и3з8 д0му, и4же во їеrли1мэ, и3 tнесE \| въ хрaмъ вавmлHнскій, и3знесE ты6z кЂръ цaрь t хрaма вавmлHнскагw и3 дадE и5хъ саванасaру храни1телю, и4же над8 сокр0вищемъ,

and said to him, Take all the vessels, and go, put them in the house that is in Jerusalem in their place.	и3 речE є3мY: вс‰ сосyды сі‰ возми2 и3 и3ди2, и3 постaви и5хъ въ домY, и4же є4сть во їеrли1мэ, на мёсто и4хъ:

Then that Sabanazar came, and laid the foundations of the house of God in Jerusalem: and from that time even until now it has been building, and has not been finished.	тогдA саванасaръ т0й пріи1де и3 постaви њсновaніе д0му б9іz во їеrли1мэ, и3 t тогw2 врeмене дaже донн7э созидaетсz, и3 є3щE не совершeнъ є4сть:

And now, if it seem good to the king, let search be made in the treasure-house of the king at Babylon, that thou mayest know if it be that a decree was made by king Cyrus to build that house of God that was in Jerusalem, and let the king send to us when he has learnt concerning this matter.	и3 нн7э ѓще (ви1дитсz) царю2 блaго, да посмотри1тъ въ домY сокр0вища царS вавmлHнскагw, да ўвёси, ћкw t царS кЂра бhсть повелёніе созидaти д0мъ б9ій сeй, и4же во їеrли1мэ, и3 ўвёдавъ њ сeмъ цaрь да п0слетъ къ нaмъ.

Then Darius the king made a decree, and caused a search to be made in the record-offices, where the treasure is stored in Babylon.	ТогдA дaрій цaрь повелЁ, и3 и3скaша во книгохрани1телницахъ, и3дёже сокрHвище лежи1тъ въ вавmлHнэ.

And there was found in the city, in the palace, a volume, and this was the record written in it.	И# њбрётесz во ґмafэ грaдэ мидjйстэмъ въ палaтэ глави1зна є3ди1на, и3 сіE пи1сано бЁ въ нeй на пaмzть:

In the first year of king Cyrus, Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the holy house of God that was in Jerusalem, saying, Let the house be built, and the place where they sacrifice the sacrifices. (Also he appointed its elevation, in height sixty cubits; its breadth was of sixty cubits.)	въ лёто пeрвое кЂра царS, кЂръ цaрь цaрь повелЁ њ д0мэ б9іи, и4же во їеrли1мэ: д0мъ да сози1ждетсz, и3 мёсто, и3дёже жрyтъ жє1ртвы: и3 положи2 мёру высоты2 лакHтъ шестьдесsтъ, широтA є3гw2 лакHтъ шестьдесsтъ:

And let there be three strong layers of stone, and one layer of timber; and the expense shall be paid out of the house of the king.	и3 стёны кaмєнныz твє1рдыz три2, и3 стэнA древsнаz є3ди1на, и3ждивeніе же t д0му царeва да дaстсz:

And the silver and the gold vessels of the house of God, which Nabuchodonosor carried off from the house that was in Jerusalem, and carried to Babylon, let them even be given, and be carried to the temple that is in Jerusalem, and put in the place where they were set in the house of God.	и3 сосyди д0му б9іz златjи и3 срeбрzніи, и5хже навуходон0соръ взS t д0му, и4же во їеrли1мэ, и3 пренесE и5хъ въ вавmлHнъ, да tдадyтсz и3 внесyтсz въ д0мъ, и4же во їеrли1мэ, на мёсто, и3дёже и3 постaвлени бsху въ домY б9іи:

Now, ye rulers beyond the river, Satharbuzanai, and their fellow-servants the Apharsachæans, who are on the other side of the river, give these things, keeping far from that place.	нн7э u5бо дади1те, кнsзіе сyщіи за рэк0ю, саfарвузанaй и3 сослужи1теліе и4хъ ґфарсахeє, и5же за рэк0ю, далeче tиди1те tтyду:

Now let alone the work of the house of God: let the rulers of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build that house of God on its place.	нн7э њстaвите дёло д0му б9іz: кнsзіе їудeйстіи и3 старBйшины и4хъ д0мъ б9ій т0й да созидaютъ на мёстэ своeмъ:

Also a decree has been made by me, if haply ye may do somewhat in concert with the elders of the Jews for the building of that house of God: to wit, out of the king's property, even the tributes beyond the river, let there be money to defray the expenses carefully granted to those men, so that they be not hindered.	и3 t менє2 повелёно бhсть, да не когдA что2 сотвори1те проти1вно старёйшинамъ жидHвскимъ въ созидaніи д0му б9іz џнагw: и3 t и3мёній цaрскихъ дaней сyщихъ за рэк0ю прилёжнw на и3ждивeніе да даeтсz мужє1мъ тBмъ, є4же бы не престaло дёло то2:

And whatever need there may be, ye shall give both the young of bulls and rams, and lambs for whole-burnt-offerings to the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, oil:—let it be given them according to the word of the priests that are in Jerusalem, day by day whatsoever they shall ask;	и3 є4же ѓще њскудёетъ, и3 телцы2 и3 nвны2 и3 ѓгнцы, во всесожжє1ніz бGу нбcному, пшени1ца, с0ль, віно2, є3лeй, по словеси2 свzщeнникwвъ, и5же во їеrли1мэ, да даeтсz и5мъ по вс‰ дни6, є4же ѓще воспр0сzтъ,

that they may offer sweet savours to the God of heaven, and that they may pray for the life of the king and his sons.	да бyдутъ приносsщіи благоух†ніz бGу нбcному и3 да м0лzтсz њ жи1зни царS и3 сынHвъ є3гw2:

And a decree has been made by me, that every man who shall alter this word, timber shall be pulled down from his house, and let him be lifted up and slain upon it, and his house shall be confiscated.	и3 t менє2 ўстaвлено повелёніе, да всsкъ человёкъ, и4же престyпитъ повелёніе сіE, в0зметсz дрeво t д0му є3гw2, и3 воздви1женъ њбёситсz на нeмъ, и3 д0мъ є3гw2 мнЁ бyдетъ взsтъ:

And may the God whose name dwells there, overthrow every king and people who shall stretch out his hand to alter or destroy the house of God which is in Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be diligently attended to.	и3 бGъ, є3гHже њбитaетъ и4мz тaмw, да низврати1тъ всsкаго царS и3 лю1ди, и5же прострyтъ рyку свою2 премэни1ти и3ли2 разори1ти д0мъ б9ій, и4же є4сть во їеrли1мэ: ѓзъ дaрій постaвихъ повелёніе, съ прилэжaніемъ да бyдетъ.

Then Thanthanai the governor on this side beyond the river, Satharbuzanai, and his fellow-servants, according to that which king Darius sent, so they did diligently.	ТогдA fаfанaй кнsзь страны2 зарёчныz, саfарвузанaй и3 сослужeбницы є3гw2, ћкоже послA дaрій цaрь, тaкw сотвори1ша тщaтелнw.

And the elders of the Jews and the Levites built, at the prophecy of Aggæus the prophet, and Zacharias the son of Addo: and they built up, and finished it, by the decree of the God of Israel, and by the decree of Cyrus, and Darius, and Arthasastha, kings of the Persians.	СтарBйшины же їудeйстіи созидaху и3 леvjти по прbр0честву ґггeа прbр0ка и3 захaріи сhна ѓддwва. И# создaша и3 соверши1ша по повелёнію бGа ї}лева и3 по повелёнію кЂра и3 дaріа и3 ґртаxeрxа царeй пeрсскихъ,

And they finished this house by the third day of the month Adar, which is the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.	и3 соверши1ша д0мъ т0й дaже до днE трeтіzгw, мцcа ґдaра, и4же є4сть въ лёто шест0е цaрства дaріа царS.

And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of the house of God with gladness.	Сотвори1ша же сhнове ї}лєвы, свzщeнницы и3 леvjти, и3 пр0чіи сынHвъ преселeніz њбновлeніе д0му б9іz въ рaдости,

And they offered for the dedication of the house of God a hundred calves, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs, twelve kids of the goats for a sin-offering for all Israel, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.	и3 принес0ша на њбновлeніе д0му б9іz телцє1въ сто2, nвнHвъ двёсти, ѓгнцєвъ четhреста, козлHвъ t к0зъ за грэхи2 всегw2 ї}лz дванaдесzть, по числY колёнъ ї}левыхъ:

And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their separate orders, for the services of God in Jerusalem, according to the writing of the book of Moses.	и3 постaвиша свzщeнникwвъ въ чинёхъ свои1хъ и3 леvjты въ чaстехъ свои1хъ на служeніе д0му б9іz во їеrли1мэ, ћкоже пи1сано є4сть въ кни1зэ мwmсeовэ.

And the children of the captivity kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.	И# сотвори1ша сhнове преселeніz пaсху въ четвертыйнaдесzть дeнь мцcа пeрвагw:

And the children of Israel ate the passover, even they that were of the captivity, and every one who separated himself to them from the uncleanness of the nations of the land, to seek the Lord God of Israel.	И# kд0ша сhнове ї}лєвы пaсху, и5же t преселeніz, и3 всsкъ tлучи1выйсz t њсквернeніz kзhкwвъ земли2 къ ни6мъ, є4же взыскaти гDа бGа ї}лева.

And they kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with gladness, because the Lord made them glad, and he turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, to strengthen their hands in the works of the house of the God of Israel.	И# сотвори1ша прaздникъ њпрэсн0чный сeдмь днjй въ весeліи, ћкw возвесели2 и5хъ гDь и3 њбрати2 сeрдце царS ґссyрска къ ни6мъ, ўкрэпи1ти рyки и4хъ въ дёлэхъ д0му бGа ї}лева.

This Esdras went up out of Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel gave: and the king gave him leave, for the hand of the Lord his God was upon him in all things which he sought.	сeй є4здра взhде t вавmлHна и3 сeй писeцъ ск0ръ въ зак0нэ мwmсeовэ, є3г0же дадE гDь бGъ ї}лю. And some of the children of Israel went up, and some of the priests, and of the Levites, and the singers, and the door-keepers, and the Nathinim, to Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Arthasastha the king. And they came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, this was the seventh year of the king.	и3 пріид0ша во їеrли1мъ мцcа пsтагw: сіE є4сть лёто седм0е царeво:

For in the first day of the first month he began the going up from Babylon, and in the first day of the fifth month they came to Jerusalem, for the good hand of his God was upon him.	занE въ пeрвый дeнь мцcа пeрвагw т0й начA восходи1ти t вавmлHна, и3 въ пeрвый дeнь мцcа пsтагw пріид0ша во їеrли1мъ, ћкw рукA бGа є3гw2 бlгA на нeмъ бЁ:

For Esdras had determined in his heart to seek the law, and to do and teach the ordinances and judgments in Israel.	є4здра бо ўгот0ва сeрдце своE, да взhщетъ зак0на (гDнz) и3 да тв0ритъ и3 ўчи1тъ во ї}ли повелёніємъ и3 судбaмъ.

And this is the copy of the order which Arthasastha gave to Esdras the priest, the scribe of the book of the words of the commandments of the Lord, and of his ordinances to Israel. A decree is made by me, that every one who is willing in my kingdom of the people of Israel, and of the priests and Levites, to go to Jerusalem, be permitted to go with thee.	t менє2 повелёно є3сть, да кjйждо, и4же и4мать ўсeрдіе блaго во цaрствэ моeмъ t людjй ї}левыхъ и3 t свzщeнникwвъ и3 t леvjтwвъ поити2 во їеrли1мъ, съ тоб0ю да и4детъ:

One has been sent from the king and the seven councillors, to visit Judea and Jerusalem, according to the law of their God that is in thine hand.	t лицA царeва и3 седми2 совётникwвъ є3гw2 п0сланъ є3си2, да посэти1ши їудeю и3 їеrли1мъ въ зак0нэ бGа и4хъ, сyщемъ въ рукY твоє1ю,

And for the house of the Lord there have been sent silver and gold, which the king and the councillors have freely given to the God of Israel, who dwells in Jerusalem.	и3 да tнесeши въ д0мъ гDень сребро2 и3 злaто, є4же цaрь и3 совBтницы є3гw2 со ўсeрдіемъ дaша бGу ї}леву, и4же во їеrли1мэ њбитaетъ,

And all the silver and gold, whatsoever thou shalt find in all the land of Babylon, with the freewill-offering of the people, and the priests that offer freely for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.	и3 всE злaто и3 сребро2, є4же ѓще њбрsщеши во всeй w4бласти вавmлHнстэй, съ добров0льнымъ даsніемъ людски1мъ и3 свzщeнникwвъ, в0лею приносsщихъ въ д0мъ б9ій, и4же во їеrли1мэ:

And as for every one that arrives there, speedily order him by this letter to bring calves, rams, lambs, and their meat-offerings, and their drink-offerings; and thou shalt offer them on the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem.	и3 всsкій дох0дъ т0й ўсeрднw впиши2 въ кни1гу сію2: телцы2, nвны2, ѓгнцы, и3 жє1ртвы и4хъ и3 возлі‰ніz и4хъ: и3 принеси2 т† на nлтaрь д0му бGа вaшегw, и4же є4сть во їеrли1мэ:

And whatever it shall seem good to thee and to thy brethren to do with the rest of the silver and the gold, do as it is pleasing to your God.	и3 ѓще что2 тебЁ и3 брaтіи твоeй блaго возмни1тсz t њстaвшагwсz сребрA и3 злaта сотвори1ти, ћкоже ўг0дно бGу вaшему, сотвори1те:

And deliver the vessels that are given thee for the service of the house of God, before God in Jerusalem.	и3 сосyды, и5же даны2 тебЁ въ слyжбу д0му б9іz, вдaждь пред8 бGомъ во їеrли1мэ:

And as to the rest of the need of the house of thy God, thou shalt give from the king's treasure-houses,	и3 пр0чыz потрє1бы д0му бGа твоегw2, є4же ѓще возмни1тсz тебЁ дaти, да дaси и3з8 домHвъ сокр0вища царeва

and from me, whatever it shall seem good to thee to give. I king Arthasastha have made a decree for all the treasuries that are in the country beyond the river, that whatever Esdras the priest and scribe of the God of heaven may ask you, it shall be done speedily,	и3 t менє2 ѓзъ ґртаxeрxъ цaрь ўстaвихъ повелёніе всBмъ храни1телємъ сокр0вищъ, и5же сyть за рэк0ю, да всE, є4же ѓще воспр0ситъ t вaсъ є4здра свzщeнникъ и3 писeцъ зак0на бGа нбcнагw, гот0во да бyдетъ:

to the amount of a hundred talents of silver, and a hundred measures of wheat, and a hundred baths of wine, and a hundred baths of oil, and salt without reckoning.	сребрA дaже до стA тал†нтъ, и3 пшени1цы дaже до стA мёръ, и3 вінA дaже до стA б0чекъ, и3 є3лeа дaже до стA чвaнwвъ, ґ с0ли без8 записaніz:

Let whatever is in the decree of the God of heaven, be done: take heed lest any one make an attack on the house of the God of heaven, lest at any time there should be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons.	всE, є4же є4сть по в0ли бGа нбcнагw, да бyдетъ въ домY бGа нбcнагw: вонми1те, да не кто2 прострeтъ рyку на д0мъ бGа нбcнагw, да не когдA бyдетъ гнёвъ на цaрство царeво и3 сынHвъ є3гw2:

Also this has been declared to you, with respect to all the priests, and Levites, the singers, porters, Nathinim and ministers of the house of God, let no tribute be paid to thee; thou shalt not have power to oppress them.	и3 вaмъ знaемо твори1мъ сіE, t всёхъ свzщeнникwвъ и3 леvjтwвъ, пэвцє1въ, двeрникwвъ, наfінjмwвъ и3 слyгъ домY б9іz дaнь да не бyдетъ тебЁ, нижE и3мёйте влaсти порабощaти и5хъ:

And thou, Esdras, as the wisdom of God is in thy hand, appoint scribes and judges, that they may judge for all the people beyond the river, all that know the law of the Lord thy God; and ye shall make it known to him that knows not.	тh же, є4здра, по премdрости бGа твоегw2, ћже въ руцЁ твоeй, постaви кни1жники и3 судіи6, да сyдzтъ вс‰ лю1ди, и5же сyть за рэк0ю, всBмъ знaющымъ зак0нъ бGа твоегw2, и3 не вёдающему вёдати сотвори1те:

And whosoever shall not do the law of God, and the law of the king readily, judgment shall be taken upon him, whether for death or for chastisement, or for a fine of his property, or casting into prison.	и3 всsкъ, и4же не сотвори1тъ зак0на бGа твоегw2 и3 зак0на царeва ўсeрднw, сyдъ да бyдетъ сотворeнъ на него2, ѓще въ смeрть, и3ли2 въ наказaніе, и3ли2 во њтщетёніе животA, и3ли2 въ темни1цу.

Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, who has put it thus into the heart of the king, to glorify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem;	Блгcвeнъ гDь бGъ nтє1цъ нaшихъ, и4же дадE си1це въ сeрдце царeво, да прослaвитъ д0мъ гDень, и4же во їеrли1мэ,

and has given me favour in the eyes of the king, and of his councillors, and all the rulers of the king, the exalted ones. Of the sons of Sachania, and of the sons of Phoros; Zacharias: and with him a company of a hundred and fifty.	t сынHвъ саханjиныхъ, t сынHвъ фор0совыхъ захaріа, и3 съ ни1мъ мужeй сто2 пzтьдесsтъ,

And of the sons of Adonicam were the last, and these were their names, Eliphalat, Jeel, and Samæa, and with them sixty males.	и3 t сынHвъ ґдwнікaмлихъ послёдніи, и3 сі‰ и3менA и4хъ: є3діфалafъ, їеіи1лъ и3 самаjа, и3 съ ни1мъ шестьдесsтъ мужeй,

And of the sons of Baguæ, Uthai, and Zabud, and with him seventy males.	и3 t сынHвъ вагуaевыхъ ўfaй и3 завyдъ, и3 съ ни1ми сeдмьдесzтъ мужeй.

And I gathered them to the river that comes to Evi, and we encamped there three days: and I reviewed the people and the priests, and found none of the sons of Levi there.	Собрaхъ же и5хъ къ рэцЁ текyщей ко є3vjи, и3 пребhхомъ тY три2 дни6: и3скaхъ же въ лю1дехъ и3 во свzщeнницэхъ, и3 t сынHвъ леvjиныхъ не њбрэт0хъ тaмw.

And I sent men of understanding to Eleazar, to Ariel, to Semeias, and to Alonam, and to Jarib, and to Elnatham, and to Nathan, and to Zacharias, and to Mesollam, and to Joarim, and to Elnathan.	И# послaхъ ко є3леазaру, ґріи1лу, семеjю и3 къ маwнaну, и3 їерjву и3 є3лнаfaму, и3 наfaну и3 захaріи и3 месоллaму, и3 ко їwарjму и3 є3лнаfaну, премyдрыхъ,

And I forwarded them to the rulers with the money of the place, and I put words in their mouth to speak to their brethren the Athinim with the money of the place, that they should bring us singers for the house of our God.	и3 и3звед0хъ и5хъ ко ґдaю начaлнику на мёстэ кaсфіа и3 вложи1хъ во ўстA и4хъ словесA глаг0лати ко ґдaю и3 брaтіи є3гw2 ґfінjмwмъ на мёстэ кaсфіи, привести2 нaмъ пою1щихъ въ д0мъ бGа нaшегw.

And they came to us, as the good hand of our God was upon us, even a man of understanding of the sons of Mooli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel, and at the commencement came his sons and his brethren, eighteen.	И# пріид0ша къ нaмъ, понeже рукA бGа нaшегw бЁ бlгA на нaсъ, мyжъ сахHнъ t сынHвъ моолjевыхъ сhна леvjина, сhна ї}лева, и3 саравjа, и3 сhнове є3гw2 и3 брaтіz є3гw2 nсмьнaдесzть:

And Asebia, and Isaia of the sons of Merari, his brethren and his sons, twenty.	и3 ґсевjа, и3 и3сaіа t сынHвъ мерaріныхъ и3 брaтіz є3гw2 и3 сhнове є3гw2 двaдесzть:

And of the Nathinim, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites there were two hundred and twenty Nathinim; all were gathered by their names.	и3 t наfінjмwвъ, и5хже дадE давjдъ и3 кнsзіе ко слyжбэ леvjтwмъ, наfінjмwвъ двёсти двaдесzть, вси2 собрaшасz по и3менHмъ.

And I proclaimed there a fast, at the river Aüe, that we should humble ourselves before our God, to seek of him a straight way for us, and for our children, and for all our property.	И# проповёдахъ тaмw п0стъ бли1з8 рёки ґуи2, є4же смири1тисz пред8 гDемъ бGомъ нaшимъ, проси1ти t негw2 пути2 прaвагw нaмъ и3 чaдwмъ нaшымъ и3 всемY стzжaнію нaшему:

For I was ashamed to ask of the king a guard and horsemen to save us from the enemy in the way: for we had spoken to the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all that seek him, for good; but his power and his wrath are upon all that forsake him.	ўстыдёхсz бо и3спроси1ти t царS си1лы и3 кHнникъ защи1тити нaсъ t врагA на пути2, понeже рёхомъ царю2 глаг0люще: рукA бGа нaшегw є4сть на всёхъ и4щущихъ є3го2 во благ0е и3 крёпость є3гw2, ћрость же є3гw2 на всёхъ њставлsющихъ є3го2.

And I gave charge to twelve of the chiefs of the priests, to Saraia, to Asabia, and ten of their brethren with them.	И# tлучи1хъ t кнzзeй свzщeнническихъ дванaдесzть, сараjю, ґсавjю и3 съ ни1ми t брaтіи и4хъ дeсzть:

And I weighed to them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of the first-fruits of the house of our God, which the king, and his councillors, and his princes, and all Israel that were found, had dedicated.	возвёснхъ же и5мъ сребро2 и3 злaто и3 сосyды начaткwвъ д0му бGа нaшегw, ±же вознесE цaрь и3 совBтницы є3гw2 и3 кнsзіе є3гw2, и3 вeсь ї}ль њбрэтazйсz,

I even weighed into their hands six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and a hundred silver vessels, and a hundred talents of gold;	и3 дaхъ вёсомъ въ рyки и4хъ сребрA талaнтwвъ шeсть сHтъ пzтьдесsтъ, и3 сосyдwвъ срeбрzныхъ сто2, и3 злaта сто2 тал†нтъ,

and twenty golden bowls, weighing about a thousand drachms, and superior vessels of fine shining brass, precious as gold.	и3 чaшъ златhхъ двaдесzть, дрaхмъ тhсzщу, и3 сосyды мёди свётлыz д0брыz разли6чныz, драгоцBнныz ћкw злaто,

And I said to them, Ye are holy to the Lord; and the vessels are holy; and the silver and the gold are freewill-offerings to the Lord God of our fathers.	и3 рек0хъ и5мъ: вы2 свsти гDу бGу, и3 сосyди свsти и3 сребро2 и3 злaто, є4же в0лею вдано2 є4сть гDу бGу nтє1цъ нaшихъ:

Be watchful and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief priests and the Levites, and the chiefs of families in Jerusalem, at the chambers of the house of the Lord.	бди1те и3 стреги1те, д0ндеже вёсомъ tдадитE пред8 кн‰зи свzщeнникwвъ и3 леvjтwвъ и3 пред8 кн‰зи nтeчествъ ї}левыхъ во їеrли1мэ, во ски1ніихъ д0му гDнz.

So the priests and the Levites took the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring to Jerusalem into the house of our God.	И# пріsша свzщeнницы и3 леvjти вёсъ сребрA и3 злaта и3 сосyдwвъ, да вознесyтъ во їеrли1мъ въ д0мъ бGа нaшегw.

And we departed from the river of Aüe on the twelfth day of the first month, to come to Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and delivered us from the hand of the enemy and adversary in the way.	И# воздвиг0хомсz t рёки ґуи2 во вторыйнaдесzть дeнь мцcа пeрвагw, да и4демъ во їеrли1мъ: и3 рукA бGа нaшегw бЁ на нaсъ и3 и3збaви нaсъ t рyкъ врaжіихъ и3 рaтникwвъ на пути2,

And we came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days.	и3 пріид0хомъ во їеrли1мъ и3 пребhхомъ тY три2 дни6.

And it came to pass on the fourth day that we weighed the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, in the house of our God, into the hand of Merimoth the son of Uria the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinees, and with them Jozabad the son of Jesus, and Noadia the son of Banaia, the Levites.	И# бhсть въ дeнь четвeртый, tдaхомъ вёсомъ сребро2 и3 злaто и3 сосyды въ домY бGа нaшегw под8 рyку марімHfа сhна ўрjи свzщeнника, и3 съ ни1мъ є3леазaръ сhнъ фінеeсовъ, и3 съ ни1ми їwзавaдъ сhнъ їисyсовъ и3 нwадjа сhнъ ванаjевъ леvjти,

All things were reckoned by number and weight, and the whole weight was written down.	по числY и3 вёсу вс‰: и3 напи1санъ бhсть вeсь вёсъ.

At that time the children of the banishment that came from the captivity offered whole-burnt-offerings to the God of Israel, twelve calves for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, twelve goats for a sin-offering: all whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord.	Во врeмz то2, и5же пріид0ша t плэнeніz сhнове преселeніz, принес0ша всесожжє1ніz бGу ї}леву, телцє1въ дванaдесzть за всего2 ї}лz, nвнHвъ дeвzтьдесzтъ шeсть, ѓгнцєвъ сeдмьдесzтъ сeдмь, козлHвъ за грэхи2 дванaдесzть, вс‰ во всесожжeніе гDу.

And they gave the king's mandate to the king's lieutenants, and the governors beyond the river: and they honoured the people and the house of God.	И# дaша повелёніе царeво прави1телємъ ц†рскимъ и3 кнzзє1мъ, и5же за рэк0ю: и3 прослaвиша людjй и3 д0мъ б9ій.

And when these things were finished, the princes drew near to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands in their abominations, even the Chananite, the Ethite, the Pherezite, the Jebusite, the Ammonite, the Moabite, and the Moserite and the Amorite. For they have taken of their daughters for themselves and their sons; and the holy seed has passed among the nations of the lands, and the hand of the rulers has been first in this transgression.	понeже поsша t дщeрей и4хъ себЁ и3 сынHмъ свои6мъ, и3 смэси1сz сёмz свzт0е съ людьми2 земнhми, и3 рукA кнzзeй и3 воев0дъ въ преступлeніи сeмъ въ начaлэ.

And when I heard this thing, I rent my garments, and trembled, and plucked some of the hairs of my head and of my beard, and sat down mourning.	И# є3гдA ўслhшахъ словесA сі‰, раздрaхъ ри6зы мо‰, и3 вострепетaхъ, и3 терзaхъ власы2 главы2 моеS и3 брады2 моеS, и3 сэд0хъ тужA.

Then there assembled to me all that followed the word of the God of Israel, on account of the transgression of the captivity; and I remained mourning until the evening sacrifice.	И# собрaшасz ко мнЁ вси2 боsщіисz сл0ва бGа ї}лева за преступлeніе пришeдшихъ t плэнeніz, и3 ѓзъ сэдsхъ приск0рбенъ дaже до жeртвы вечeрніz.

And at the evening sacrifice I rose up from my humiliation; and when I had rent my garments, then I trembled, and I bow myself on my knees, and spread out my hands to the Lord God,	И# въ жeртву вечeрнюю востaхъ t сётованіz моегw2, и3 внегдA раздрaхъ ри6зы мо‰, и3 трепетaхъ, и3 преклони1хъ кwлёна мо‰, и3 простр0хъ руцЁ мои2 ко гDу бGу моемY

and I said, O Lord, I am ashamed and confounded, O my God, to lift up my face to thee: for our transgressions have abounded over our head, and our trespasses have increased even to heaven.	и3 рек0хъ: гDи б9е м0й, стыждyсz и3 срамлsюсz воздви1гнути лицE моE къ тебЁ, ћкw беззакHніz н†ша ўмн0жишасz пaче глaвъ нaшихъ, и3 прегрэшє1ніz н†ша возраст0ша дaже до нб7сE:

From the days of our fathers we have been in a great trespass until this day: and because of our iniquities we, and our kings, and our children, have been delivered into the hand of the kings of the Gentiles by the sword, and by captivity, and by spoil, and with shame of our face, as at this day.	t днjй nтє1цъ нaшихъ въ преступлeніи вели1цэмъ є3смы2 дaже до днE сегw2, и3 въ беззак0ніихъ нaшихъ прeдани є3смы2 мы2 и3 цaріе нaши и3 свzщeнницы нaши и3 сhнове нaши въ рукY царeй kзhческихъ, въ мeчь и3 въ плэнeніе, и3 въ расхищeніе и3 въ стыдёніе лицA нaшегw, ћкоже въ дeнь сeй:

And now our God has dealt mercifully with us, so as to leave us to escape, and to give us an establishment in the place of his sanctuary, to enlighten our eyes, and to give a little quickening in our servitude.	и3 нн7э ўмлcтивисz над8 нaми бGъ нaшъ, є4же њстaвити ны2 во спасeніе и3 дaти нaмъ твeрдость на мёстэ с™hни є3гw2, є4же просвэти1ти nчесA н†ша и3 дaти њживлeніе мaлое въ раб0тэ нaшей:

For we are slaves, yet in our servitude the Lord our God has not deserted us; and he has extended favour to us in the sight of the kings of the Persians, to give us a quickening, that they should raise up the house of our God, and restore the desolate places of it, and to give us a fence in Juda and Jerusalem.	ћкw раби2 є3смы2, и3 въ раб0тэ нaшей не њстaви нaсъ гDь бGъ нaшъ: и3 преклони2 на нaсъ милосeрдіе пред8 цари6 пeрсскими, дaти нaмъ жив0тъ, є4же воздви1гнути и5мъ д0мъ бGу нaшему и3 возстaвити запустBвшаz є3гw2, и3 дaти нaмъ њграждeніе во їудeи и3 їеrли1мэ:

What shall we say, our God, after this? for we have forsaken thy commandments,	и3 нн7э что2 речeмъ, б9е нaшъ, по сeмъ; ћкw њстaвихомъ повелBніz тво‰,

which thou hast given us by the hand of thy servants the prophets, saying, The land, into which ye go to inherit it, is a land subject to disturbance by the removal of the people of the nations for their abominations, wherewith they have filled it from one end to the other by their uncleannesses.	±же дaлъ є3си2 нaмъ рук0ю р†бъ твои1хъ прbр0кwвъ, гlz: землS, на ню1же вы2 вх0дите наслёдити ю5, землS нечистA є4сть, по нечистотЁ людjй kзhческихъ, въ мeрзостехъ и4хъ, и4миже нап0лниша ю5 t ќстъ дaже до ќстъ во сквернeніихъ свои1хъ,

And now give not your daughters to their sons, and take not of their daughters for your sons, neither shall ye seek their peace or their good for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and transmit it as an inheritance to your children for ever.	и3 нн7э дщeрей вaшихъ не дади1те сынHмъ и4хъ и3 дщeрей и4хъ не пріeмлите сыновHмъ вaшымъ, и3 не и3щи1те ми1ра и4хъ и3 блaга и4хъ дaже до вёка, ћкw да ўкрэпи1тесz и3 снёсте благ†z земли2, и3 наслёдіе дадитE сыновHмъ вaшымъ дaже до вёка:

And after all that is come upon us because of our evil deeds, and our great trespass, it is clear that there is none such as our God, for thou hast lightly visited our iniquities, and given us deliverance;	и3 по всёхъ, ±же пріид0ша на нaсъ въ дёлэхъ нaшихъ ѕлhхъ и3 грэсЁ нaшемъ вели1цэмъ, понeже нёсть ћкоже бGъ нaшъ, и4же и3збaвилъ є3си2 нaсъ t беззак0ній нaшихъ и3 дaлъ є3си2 нaмъ спcніе:

whereas we have repeatedly broken thy commandments, and intermarried with the people of the lands: be not very angry with us to our utter destruction, so that there should be no remnant or escaping one.	занE њбрати1хомсz разори1ти зaпwвэди тво‰ и3 смэси1тисz съ людьми2 земнhми: не прогнёвайсz на нaсъ дaже до скончaніz, є4же не бhти њстaнку и3 спасaемому:

O Lord God of Israel, thou art righteous; for we remain yet escaped, as at this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee on this account.	гDи б9е ї}левъ, првdнъ є3си2 ты2, ћкw њстaхомсz спасeни, ћкоже дeнь сeй: сE, мы2 пред8 тоб0ю є3смы2 вси2 въ беззак0ніихъ нaшихъ, понeже не возм0жно стaти пред8 тоб0ю сегw2 рaди.

So when Esdras had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and praying before the house of God, a very great assembly of Israel came together to him, men and women and youths; for the people wept, and wept aloud.	И# є3гдA молsшесz є4здра и3 є3гдA и3сповёдашесz плaчущь и3 молsсz пред8 д0момъ б9іимъ, собрaшасz къ немY t ї}лz собрaніе вeліе ѕэлw2, мyжіе и3 жєны2 и3 џтроцы ћкw плaкахусz лю1діе и3 вознес0ша плaчь.

And Sechenias the son of Jeel, of the sons of Elam, answered and said to Esdras, We have broken covenant with our God, and have taken strange wives of the nations of the land: yet now there is patience of hope to Israel concerning this thing.	И# tвэщA сехенjа сhнъ їеи1левъ t сынHвъ и3лaмлихъ и3 речE є4здрэ: мы2 преступи1хомъ пред8 бGомъ нaшимъ и3 поsхомъ жєны2 чужд‡z t людjй земли2, и3 нн7э є4сть ўповaніе ї}лю њ сeмъ:

Now then let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and their offspring, as thou shalt advise:	и3 нн7э завэщaемъ завётъ бGу нaшему, да tвeржемъ вс‰ жєны2 и3 рождeныхъ t ни1хъ, ћкоже х0щетъ: востaни и3 ўстраши2 и5хъ зaповэдьми бGа нaшегw, и3 по зак0ну да бyдетъ:

arise, and alarm them with the commands of our God; and let it be done according to the law. Rise up, for the matter is upon thee; and we are with thee: be strong and do.	востaни, понeже на тебЁ є4сть глаг0лъ, и3 мы2 съ тоб0ю: ўкрэпи1сz и3 сотвори2.

Then Esdras arose, and caused the rulers, the priests, and Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they would do according to this word: and they swore.	И# востA є4здра, и3 заклS кн‰зи, свzщeнники и3 леvjты и3 всего2 ї}лz, да сотворsтъ по словеси2 семY. И# клsшасz.

And Esdras rose up from before the house of God, and went to the treasury of Joanan the son of Elisub; he even went thither: he ate no bread, and drank no water; for he mourned over the unfaithfulness of them of the captivity.	И# востA є4здра t лицA д0му б9іz и3 и4де въ сокр0вищный д0мъ їwнaна сhна є3лісyвова и3 сёде тaмw: хлёба не kдE и3 воды2 не пи2, плaкаше бо њ преступлeніи пришeдшихъ t плэнeніz.

And they made proclamation throughout Juda and Jerusalem to all the children of the captivity, that they should assemble at Jerusalem, saying,	И# п0слано бhсть сл0во во їудeю и3 во їеrли1мъ всBмъ сыновHмъ преселeніz, да соберyтсz во їеrли1мъ:

Every one who shall not arrive within three days, as is the counsel of the rulers and the elders, all his substance shall be forfeited, and he shall be separated from the congregation of the captivity.	всsкъ, и4же ѓще не пріи1детъ въ три2 дни6, по совёту кнzзeй и3 старёйшинъ, в0зметсz всE и3мёніе є3гw2, и3 т0й tлучeнъ бyдетъ t с0нмища преселeніz.

So all the men of Juda and Benjamin assembled at Jerusalem within the three days. This was the ninth month: on the twentieth day of the month all the people sat down in the street of the house of the Lord, because of their alarm concerning the word, and because of the storm.	И# собрaшасz вси2 мyжіе ї{дины и3 веніам‡ни во їеrли1мъ трeми дeнми: сeй є4сть мцcъ девsтый: въ двадесsтый дeнь мцcа сэд0ша вси2 лю1діе пред8 д0момъ б9іимъ трепeщуще њ словеси2 и3 t зимы2.

And Esdras the priest arose, and said to them, Ye have broken covenant, and have taken strange wives, to add to the trespass of Israel.	И# востA є4здра свzщeнникъ и3 речE къ ни6мъ: вы2 преступи1сте и3 взsсте жєны2 и3ноплемє1ннически, є4же приложи1ти ко грэхY ї}леву:

Now therefore give praise to the Lord God of our fathers, and do that which is pleasing in his sight: and separate yourselves from the peoples of the land, and from the strange wives.	и3 нн7э дади1те хвалY гDу бGу nтє1цъ нaшихъ, и3 сотвори1те ўг0дное пред8 ни1мъ, и3 tлучи1тесz t людjй земли2 и3 t жeнъ и3ноплемeнническихъ.

Then all the congregation answered and said, This thy word is powerful upon us to do it.	И# tвэщaша всE мн0жество глaсомъ вели1кимъ и3 рёша: по словеси2 твоемY къ нaмъ сотвори1мъ:

But the people is numerous, and the season is stormy, and there is no power to stand without, and the work is more than enough for one day or for two; for we have greatly sinned in this matter.	nбaче лю1діе мн0зи сyть, и3 врeмz зи1мнее, и3 нёсть м0щно стоsти внЁ: и3 дёло нёсть днE є3ди1нагw и3ли2 двyхъ, ѕэлw2 бо мн0гw согрэши1хомъ во словеси2 сeмъ:

Let now our rulers stand, and for all those in our cities who have taken strange wives, let them come at appointed times, and with them elders from every several city, and judges, to turn away the fierce wrath of our God from us concerning this matter.	да постaвzтсz кнsзіе нaши во всeмъ мн0жествэ и3 во всёхъ градёхъ нaшихъ, и5же поsша жєны2 и3ноплемє1нничи, да пріи1дутъ во временA повєлённаz, и3 съ ни1ми старBйшины t всsкагw грaда и3 судіи6, є4же tврати1ти гнёвъ ћрости бGа нaшегw t нaсъ словесE рaди сегw2.

Only Jonathan the son of Asael, and Jazias the son of Thecoe were with me concerning this; and Mesollam, and Sabbathai the Levite helped them.	Nбaче їwнаfaнъ сhнъ ґсаи1левъ и3 їaсса сhнъ fекyевъ со мн0ю њ сeмъ, и3 месоллaмъ и3 саваfaй леvjтинъ помагazй и5мъ.

And the children of the captivity did thus: and Esdras the priest, and heads of families according to their house were separated, and all by their names, for they returned in the first day of the tenth month to search out the matter.	И# сотвори1ша тaкw сhнове преселeніz: и3 разыд0шасz є4здра свzщeнникъ и3 мyжіе кнsзіе nтeчествъ въ д0мы, и3 вси2 по и3менHмъ, ћкw њбрати1шасz въ дeнь пeрвый мцcа десsтагw, да взhщутъ глаг0ла:

And they made an end with all the men who had taken strange wives by the first day of the first month.	и3 соверши1ша во всёхъ мужeхъ, и5же поsша жєны2 и3ноплемє1нничи, дaже до днE пeрвагw мцcа пeрвагw.

And there were found some of the sons of the priests who had taken strange wives: of the sons of Jesus the son of Josedec, and his brethren; Maasia, and Eliezer, and Jarib, and Gadalia.	И# њбрётени сyть t сынHвъ свzщeнническихъ и5же введ0ша жєны2 и3ноплемє1нничи, t сынHвъ їисyса сhна їwседeкова и3 брaтіz є3гw2 маасjа и3 є3ліезeръ, и3 їари1мъ и3 гадалjа:

And they pledged themselves to put away their wives, and offered a ram of the flock for a trespass-offering because of their trespass.	и3 дaша рyки сво‰ и3згони1ти жєны2 сво‰, и3 согрэши1вшіи принес0ша t nвeцъ њ преступлeніи своeмъ nвнA:
20	20
And of the sons of Emmer; Anani, and Zabdia.	и3 t сынHвъ є3мми1ровыхъ ґнанjй и3 завдjа:
21	21
And of the sons of Eram; Masael, and Elia, and Samaia, and Jeel, and Ozia.	и3 t сынHвъ и3рaмлихъ маасjа и3 є3ллjа, и3 самjа и3 їеіи1лъ и3 nзjа:
22	22
And of the sons of Phasur; Elionai, Maasia, and Ismael, and Nathanael, and Jozabad, and Elasa.	и3 t сынHвъ фассyровыхъ є3ліwинaй, маасjа и3 їсмaилъ, и3 наfанaель и3 їwзавaдъ и3 и3ласA:

And of the Levites; Jozabad, and Samu, and Colia (he is Colitas,) and Phetheia, and Judas, and Eliezer.	и3 t леvjтwвъ їwзавaдъ и3 fамyй и3 кwлjа, т0йже и3 кwлjтъ, и3 феfеjа, и3 їyда и3 є3ліeзеръ:

And of the singers; Elisab: and of the porters; Solmen, and Telmen, and Oduth.	и3 t пэвцє1въ є3лісaвъ: и3 t двє1рникъ солми1нъ и3 телми1нъ и3 nдyа:

Also of Israel: of the sons of Phoros; Ramia, and Azia, and Melchia, and Meamin, and Eleazar, and Asabia, and Banaia.	и3 t ї}лz, t сынHвъ фор0совыхъ рамjа и3 ґзjа, и3 мелхjа и3 мелми1нъ, и3 є3ліазaръ и3 ґсавjа и3 ванeа:

And of the sons of Helam; Matthania, and Zacharia, and Jaïel, and Abdia, and Jarimoth, and Elia.	и3 t сынHвъ и3лaмовыхъ матfанjа и3 захaріа, и3 їаіи1лъ и3 ґвдjй, и3 їерімHfъ и3 и3лjа:

And of the sons of Zathua; Elionai, Elisub, Matthanai, and Armoth, and Zabad, and Oziza.	и3 t сынHвъ заfyевыхъ є3ліwнaй, є3лісyвъ, маfанaй и3 ґрмHfъ, и3 завaдъ и3 nзізA:

And of the sons of Babei; Joanan, Anania, and Zabu, and Thali.	и3 t сынHвъ вавeиныхъ їwнaнъ, ґнанjа и3 завyй и3 fалJ:
29	29
And of the sons of Banui; Mosollam, Maluch, Adaias, Jasub, and Saluia, and Remoth.	и3 t сынHвъ ванyевыхъ мосоллaмъ, маллyхъ, ґдаjа, їасyвъ и3 саaлъ и3 римHfъ:

And of the sons of Phaath Moab; Edne, and Chalel, and Banaia, Maasia, Matthania, Beseleel, and Banui, and Manasse.	и3 t сынHвъ фаafъ-мwaвлихъ є3днeа и3 хали1лъ и3 ванаjа, маасjа, матfанjа, веселеи1лъ и3 ванyй и3 манассjи:

And of the sons of Eram; Eliezer, Jesia, Melchia, Samaias, Semeon,	и3 t сынHвъ и3рaмовыхъ є3ліезeръ, їесjа, мелхjа, самаjа, семеHнъ,

Benjamin, Baluch, Samaria.	веніамjнъ, малyхъ, самарjа:

And of the sons of Asem; Metthania, Matthatha, Zadab, Eliphalet, Jerami, Manasse, Semei.	и3 t сынHвъ ґси1мовыхъ метfанaіа, маfаfA, завaдъ, є3ліфалeтъ, їерамJ манассjй, семeй:

And of the sons of Bani; Moodia, Amram, Uel,	и3 t сынHвъ ванjиныхъ моодjа, ґмрaмъ и3 ўи1лъ,

Banaia, Badaia, Chelkia,	ванаjа, вадаjа, хелjа,

Uvania, Marimoth, Eliasiph,	ўанjа, марімHfъ и3 є3ліасjвъ,

Matthania, Matthanai:	матfанjа маfанaй.

and so did the children of Banui, and the children of Semei,	И# сотвори1ша сhнове вануjєвы и3 сhнове семє1ины,

and Selemia, and Nathan, and Adaia,	и3 салемjа и3 наfaнъ и3 ґдаjа,
40	40
Machadnabu, Sesei, Sariu,	махнадA, ґвусесeй,
41	41
Ezriel, and Selemia, and Samaria,	ґруесріи1лъ и3 самарjа,
42	42
and Sellum, Amaria, Joseph.	селлyмъ, ґмарjа, їHсифъ:

Of the sons of Nabu; Jael, Matthanias, Zabad, Zebennas, Jadai, and Joel, and Banaia.	t сынHвъ навyиныхъ їеіи1лъ, маfаfjа, завaдъ, зевенaй, їадaй и3 їwи1ль и3 ванeа.
44	44
All these had taken strange wives, and had begotten sons of them.	Вси2 тjи поsша жєны2 и3ноплемє1ннически, и3 роди1ша t ни1хъ сhны.
