| Сл0во гDне, є4же бhсть ко њсjи сhну веирjину, во днeхъ nзjи и3 їwаfaма, и3 ґхaза и3 їезекjи царeй їyдиныхъ, и3 во дни6 їеровоaма сhна їwaсова царS ї}лева. | The word of the Lord which came to Osee the son of Beeri, in the days of Ozias, and Joatham, and Achaz, and Ezekias, kings of Juda, and in the days of Jeroboam son of Joas, king of Israel. |

| Начaло словесE гDнz ко њсjи. И# речE гDь ко њсjи: и3ди2, поими2 себЁ женY блужeніz, (и3 роди2) ч†да блужeніz: понeже блудsщи соблyдитъ землS t гDа. | The beginning of the word of the Lord by Osee. And the Lord said to Osee, Go, take to thyself a wife of fornication, and children of fornication: for the land will surely go a-whoring in departing from the Lord. |

| И# и4де и3 поS г0мерь дщeрь девилаjмлю: и3 зачaтъ и3 роди2 є3мY сhна. | So he went and took Gomer, daughter of Debelaim; and she conceived, and bore him a son. |

| И# речE гDь къ немY: прозови2 и4мz є3мY їезраeль: занE є3щE мaлw, и3 tмщY кр0вь їезраeлеву на домY їyдовэ и3 ўпок0ю цaрство д0му ї}лева: | And the Lord said to him, Call his name Jezrael; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezrael on the house of Juda, and will make to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel. |

| и3 бyдетъ въ т0й дeнь, сокрушY лyкъ ї}левъ во ўд0лэ їезраeлевэ. | And it shall be, in that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezrael. |

| И# зачaтъ є3щE и3 роди2 дщeрь. И# речE є3мY (гDь): прозови2 и4мz є4й непоми1лована: занE не приложY ксемY поми1ловати д0му ї}лева, но противлszсz возсопроти1влюсz и5мъ: | And she conceived again, and bore a daughter. And he said to him, Call her name, Unpitied: for I will no more have mercy on the house of Israel, but will surely set myself in array against them. |

| сhны же ї{дины поми1лую и3 сп7сY | њ гдЁ бз7э и4хъ: и3 не сп7сY и5хъ лyкомъ, ни мечeмъ, ни брaнію, ни к0ньми, нижE к0нниками. | But I will have mercy on the house of Juda, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them with bow, nor with sword, nor by war, nor by horses, nor by horsemen. |

| И# tдои2 непоми1лованную: и3 зачaтъ пaки и3 роди2 сhна. | And she weaned Unpitied; and she conceived again, and bore a son. |

|
| И# речE (гDь): прозови2 и4мz є3мY не лю1діе мои2: занE вы2 не лю1діе мои2, и3 ѓзъ нёсмь бGъ вaшъ: | And he said, Call his name, Not my people: for ye are not my people, and I am not your God. |
|

| и3 бyдетъ число2 сынHвъ ї}левыхъ ѓки пес0къ морскjй, и4же не и3змёритсz, ни и3зочтeтсz: и3 бyдетъ, на мёстэ, на нeмже речeсz и5мъ: не лю1діе мои2 вы2: сjи тaмw прозовyтсz сhнове бGа живaгw. | |

| И# соберyтсz сhнове ї{дины и3 сhнове ї}лєвы вкyпэ, и3 постaвzтъ себЁ влaсть є3ди1ну, и3 и3зhдутъ t земли2, ћкw вели1къ дeнь їезраeлевъ. | |

| Рцhте брaту своемY: лю1діе мои2: и3 сестрЁ своeй: поми1лованнаz. | Yet the number of the children of Israel was as the sand of the sea, which shall not be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said to them, Ye are not my people, even they shall be called the sons of the living God. |

| Суди1тесz съ мaтерію своeю, суди1тесz, ћкw тA не женA моS, и3 ѓзъ не мyжъ є3S: и3 tвeргу блужє1ніz є3S t лицA моегw2 и3 любодёйство є3S t среды2 сосц{ є3S: | And the children of Juda shall be gathered, and the children of Israel together, and shall appoint themselves one head, and shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezrael. |

| ћкw да совлекY ю5 нaгу и3 постaвлю ю5 ћкоже въ дeнь рождeніz є3S, и3 положY ю5 ћкw пустhню, и3 ўчиню2 ю5 ћкw зeмлю безв0дну, и3 ўбію2 џную жaждею: | Say to your brother, My people, and to your sister, Pitied. |

| и3 ч†дъ є3S не поми1лую, ћкw ч†да блужeніz сyть, | Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband: and I will remove her fornication out of my presence, and her adultery from between her breasts: |
|

|
| ћкw соблуди2 мaти и4хъ, посрами1сz роди1вшаz и5хъ, речe бо: пойдY в8слёдъ похотникHвъ мои1хъ, даю1щихъ мнЁ хлёбы мо‰ и3 в0ду мою2, и3 ри6зы мо‰ и3 плащани6цы мо‰, и3 мaсло моE и3 вс‰, є3ли6ка мнЁ дост0zтъ. | that I may strip her naked, and make her again as she was at the day of her birth: and I will make her desolate, and make her as a dry land, and will kill her with thirst. |

| Сегw2 рaди, сE, ѓзъ заграждY пyть є3S тeрніемъ и3 возграждY расп{тіz є3S, и3 стези2 своеS не њбрsщетъ: | And I will not have mercy upon her children; for they are children of fornication. |
|

| и3 поженeтъ похотники2 сво‰ и3 не пости1гнетъ и4хъ, и3 взhщетъ и5хъ и3 не њбрsщетъ, и3 речeтъ: пойдY и3 возвращyсz къ мyжу моемY пeрвому, ћкw добрёе ми2 бЁ тогдA, нeжели нн7э. | And their mother went a-whoring: she that bore them disgraced them: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, and my garments, and my linen clothes, my oil and all my necessaries. |

| Но тA не ўразумЁ, ћкw ѓзъ дaхъ є4й пшени1цу и3 віно2 и3 мaсло, и3 сребро2 ўмн0жихъ є4й: сіs же срє1брzны и3 зл†ты сотвори2 ваaлу. | Therefore, behold, I hedge up her way with thorns, and will stop the ways, and she shall not find her path. |

| Сегw2 рaди њбращyсz и3 возмY пшени1цу мою2 во врeмz є3S и3 віно2 моE во врeмz є3гw2, и3 tимY ри6зы мо‰ и3 плащани6цы мо‰, да не покрывaетъ студA своегw2: | And she shall follow after her lovers, and shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: and she shall say, I will go, and return to my former husband; for it was better with me than now. |

| и3 нн7э tкрhю нечистотY є3S пред8 похотникaми є3S, и3 никт0же tи1метъ є3S t руки2 моеS: | And she knew not that I gave her her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied silver to her: but she made silver and gold images for Baal. |

|
| и3 tвращY вс‰ весє1ліz є3S и3 прaздники є3S, и3 новомчcіz є3S и3 суббw6ты є3S и3 вс‰ прaзднєства є3S, | Therefore I will return, and take away my corn in its season, and my wine in its time; and I will take away my raiment and my linen clothes, so that she shall not cover her nakedness. |

| и3 погублю2 віногрaдъ є3S и3 смHквы є3S, њ ни1хже речE: мзды6 ми2 сyть сі‰, ±же дaша мнЁ похотницы2 мои2: и3 положY | въ свидёніе, и3 поzдsтъ | ѕвёріе сeлніи и3 пти6цы небє1сныz и3 гaди земнjи: | And now I will expose her uncleanness before her lovers, and no one shall by any means deliver her out of my hand. |

| и3 tмщY на нeй дни6 ваалjмwвы, въ нsже трє1бы кладsше и5мъ, и3 вдэвaше ўсер‰зи сво‰ и3 мони6ста сво‰, и3 хождaше в8слёдъ похотникHвъ свои1хъ, ґ менE забы2, гlетъ гDь. | And I will take away all her gladness, her feasts, and her festivals at the new moon, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn assemblies. |

| Сегw2 рaди, сE, ѓзъ соблажню2 ю5, и3 ўчиню2 ю5 ћкw пустhню, и3 возгlю въ сeрдце є3S, | And I will utterly destroy her vines, and her fig-trees, all things of which she said, These are my hire which my lovers have given me: and I will make them a testimony, and the wild beasts of the field, and the birds of the sky, and the reptiles of the earth shall devour them. |

| и3 дaмъ є4й притzжaніе є3S tтyду и3 полsну ґхHрову, tвeрсти смhслъ є3S: и3 смири1тсz тaмw по днє1мъ дётства своегw2 и3 по днє1мъ и3зведeніz своегw2 t земли2 є3гЂпетски. | And I will recompense on her the days of Baalim, wherein she sacrificed to them, and put on her ear-rings, and her necklaces, and went after her lovers, and forgot me, saith the Lord. |

| И# бyдетъ въ т0й дeнь, наречeтъ мS мyжъ м0й, гlетъ гDь, ґ не прозовeтъ менE ктомY ваалjмъ. | Therefore, behold, I will cause her to err, and will make her as desolate, and will speak comfortably to her. |
|

|
| И# tвeргу и3менA ваал‡млz t ќстъ є3S, и3 не воспомzнyтсz ксемY и3менA и4хъ. | And I will give her her possessions from thence, and the valley of Achor to open her understanding: and she shall be afflicted there according to the days of her infancy, and according to the days of her coming up out of the land of Egypt. |

| И# завэщaю и5мъ завётъ въ т0й дeнь со ѕвэрьми2 сeлными и3 со пти1цами небeсными и3 съ г†ды зємнhми, и3 лyкъ и3 мeчь и3 брaнь сокрушY t земли2, и3 вселю2 | со ўповaніемъ: | And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, that she shall call me, My husband, and shall no longer call me Baalim. |

| и3 њбручy тz себЁ во вёкъ и3 њбручy тz себЁ въ прaвдэ и3 въ судЁ и3 въ ми1лости и3 въ щедр0тахъ: | And I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and their names shall be remembered no more at all. |
|

|
| и3 њбручy тz себЁ въ вёрэ, и3 ўвёси гDа. | And I will make for them in that day a covenant with the wild beasts of the field, and with the birds of the sky, and with the reptiles of the earth: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle from off the earth, and will cause thee to dwell safely. |

| И# бyдетъ въ т0й дeнь, гlетъ гDь, послyшаю небесE, ґ џное послyшаетъ земли2, | And I will betroth thee to myself for ever; yea, I will betroth thee to myself in righteousness, and in judgment, and in mercy, and in tender compassions; |
|

|
| и3 землS послyшаетъ пшени1цы и3 вінA и3 мaсла, и3 сjи послyшаютъ їезраeлz: | and I will betroth thee to myself in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord. |
|

|
| и3 всёю џную себЁ на земли2 и3 поми1лую непоми1лованную: и3 рекY не лю1демъ мои6мъ: лю1діе мои2 є3стE вы2: и3 тjи рекyтъ: гDь бGъ нaшъ ты2 є3си2. | And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, I will hearken to the heaven, and it shall hearken to the earth; |

| И# речE гDь ко мнЁ: є3щE и3ди2 и3 возлюби2 женY лю1бzщую ѕло2 и3 любодёйцу, ћкоже лю1битъ бGъ сhны ї}лєвы: сjи же взирaютъ къ богHмъ чужди6мъ и3 лю1бzтъ варє1ніz съ корjнками. | And the Lord said to me, Go yet, and love a woman that loves evil things, and an adulteress, even as the Lord loves the children of Israel, and they have respect to strange gods, and love cakes of dried grapes. |

| И# наsхъ себЁ џную пzтіюнaдесzть срeбрениками и3 гом0ромъ kчмeнz и3 нeвелемъ вінA, | So I hired her to myself for fifteen pieces of silver, and a homer of barley, and a flagon of wine. |

| и3 рек0хъ є4й: дни6 мнHги да сэди1ши ў менє2 и3 ѓзъ ў тебє2, и3 не соблyдиши, ни бyдеши мyжу и3н0му: | And I said unto her, Thou shalt wait for me many days; and thou shalt not commit fornication, neither shalt thou be for another man; and I will be for thee. |

|
| занE дни6 мнHги сsдутъ сhнове ї}лєвы, не сyщу царю2, ни сyщу кнsзю, ни сyщей жeртвэ, ни сyщу жeртвеннику, ни жрeчеству, нижE kвлeніємъ: | For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an altar, and without a priesthood, and without manifestations. |

| и3 посeмъ њбратsтсz сhнове ї}лєвы и3 взhщутъ гDа бGа своего2 и3 давjда царS своего2, и3 почудsтсz њ гDэ и3 њ блaгостехъ є3гw2 въ послBдніz дни6. | And afterward shall the children of Israel return, and shall seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall be amazed at the Lord and at his goodness in the latter days. |

| Слhшите сл0во гDне, сhнове ї}лєвы, ћкw сyдъ гDеви къ живyщымъ на земли2: занE нёсть и4стины, ни ми1лости, ни вёдэніz б9іz на земли2: | Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. |
|

|
| клsтва и3 лжA, и3 ўбjйство и3 татьбA и3 любодэsніе разліsсz по земли2, и3 кр0вь съ кровьми2 мэшaютъ. | Cursing, and lying, and murder, and theft, and adultery abound in the land, and they mingle blood with blood. |
|

|
| Сегw2 рaди восплaчетсz землS и3 ўмaлитсz со всёми всели1вшимисz на нeй, со ѕвэрьми2 польски1ми и3 съ г†ды зємнhми и3 со пти1цами небeсными, и3 ры6бы морск‡z њскудёютъ: | Therefore shall the land mourn, and shall be diminished with all that dwell in it, with the wild beasts of the field, and the reptiles of the earth, and with the birds of the sky, and the fish of the sea shall fail: |

| ћкw да никт0же не при1тсz, ни њбличaетсz никт0же: лю1діе же мои2 ѓки прерэкaемый жрeцъ, | that neither any one may plead, nor any one reprove another: but my people are as a priest spoken against. |
|

|
| и3 и3знем0жетъ во днeхъ, и3 и3знем0жетъ прор0къ съ тоб0ю: н0щи ўпод0бихъ мaтерь твою2. | Therefore they shall fall by day, and the prophet with thee shall fall: I have compared thy mother unto night. |
|

|

|
| Ўпод0бишасz лю1діе мои2 ѓки не и3мyще ўмёніz: ћкw ты2 ўмёніе tвeрглъ є3си2, tвeргу и3 ѓзъ тебE, є4же не жрeчествовати мнЁ, и3 забhлъ є3си2 зак0нъ бGа своегw2, забyду и3 ѓзъ ч†да тво‰. | My people are like as if they had no knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt not minister as priest to me: and as thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I also will forget thy children. |

| По мн0жеству и4хъ тaкw согрэши1ша мнЁ: слaву и4хъ въ безчeстіе положY. | According to their multitude, so they sinned against me: I will turn their glory into shame. |
|

|

|
| Грэхи2 людjй мои1хъ снэдsтъ и3 въ непрaвдахъ и4хъ в0змутъ дyшы и4хъ. | They will devour the sins of my people, and will set their hearts on their iniquities. |
|

|
9
|
| И# бyдетъ ћкоже лю1діе, тaкw и3 жрeцъ: и3 tмщY на ни1хъ пути6 и4хъ, и3 ўмышлє1ніz и4хъ воздaмъ и5мъ. | And the priest shall be as the people: and I will avenge on them their ways, and I will recompense to them their counsels. |

| И# бyдутъ ћсти и3 не насhтzтсz: соблуди1ша и3 не и3спрaвzтсz: понeже гDа њстaвиша є4же снабдёти. | And they shall eat, and shall not be satisfied: they have gone a-whoring, and shall by no means prosper: because they have left off to take heed to the Lord. |

| Блyдъ и3 віно2 и3 піsнство пріsтъ сeрдце людjй мои1хъ. | The heart of my people has gladly engaged in fornication and wine and strong drink. |
|

|

|
| Въ знaменіихъ вопрошaху и3 въ жезлёхъ свои1хъ повёдаху тёмъ: дyхомъ блужeніz прельсти1шасz и3 соблуди1ша t бGа своегw2: | They asked counsel by means of signs, and they reported answer to them by their staves: they have gone astray in a spirit of whoredom, and gone grievously a-whoring from their God. |

| на версёхъ г0ръ кадsху и3 на холмёхъ жрsху под8 дyбомъ и3 под8 є4лію и3 под8 дрeвомъ вётвеннымъ, ћкw д0бръ кр0въ: сегw2 рaди соблyдzтъ дщє1ри вaшz, и3 невBсты вaшz возлюбодёютъ. | They have sacrificed on the tops of the mountains, and on the hills they have sacrificed under the oak and poplar, and under the shady tree, because the shade was good: therefore your daughters shall go a-whoring, and your daughters-in-law shall commit adultery. |

| И# не присэщY на дщє1ри вaшz, є3гдA соблyдzтъ, и3 на невBсты вaшz, є3гдA возлюбодёютъ: ћкw и3 тjи со блудни1цами смэси1шасz и3 со блудникaми трє1бы жрsху, и3 лю1діе смhслzщіи со блудни1цею сплетaхусz. | And I will not visit upon your daughters when they shall commit fornication, nor your daughters-in-law when they shall commit adultery: for they themselves mingled themselves with harlots, and sacrificed with polluted ones, and the people that understood not entangled itself with a harlot. |

| Тh же, ї}лю, не не разумэвaй, и3 їyдо: не входи1те въ галгaлу и3 не восходи1те въ д0мъ w4новъ, и3 не клени1тесz гDемъ живы6мъ. | But thou, Israel, be not ignorant, and go ye not, men of Juda, to Galgala; and go not up to the house of On, and swear not by the living Lord. |

| ЗанE ћкоже ю4ница стрэкaломъ стрёчема разсвирёпэ ї}ль: нн7э ўпасeтъ | гDь, ћкw ѓгнца на прострaнствэ. | For Israel was maddened like a mad heifer: now the Lord will feed them as a lamb in a wide place. |

|
| Причaстникъ кумjрwмъ є3фрeмъ положи2 себЁ соблaзны, | Ephraim, joined with idols, has laid stumbling-blocks in his own way. |
|

|

|
| и3збрA хананewвъ: блудsще возблуди1ша, возлюби1ша безчeстіе t хрепетaніz своегw2. | He has chosen the Chananites: they have grievously gone a-whoring: they have loved dishonour through her insolence. |
|
19
|
19
|
| Ви1хръ дyха возсви1щетъ въ крилёхъ свои1хъ, и3 посрaмzтсz t трeбищъ свои1хъ. | Thou art a blast of wind in her wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their altars. |

| Слhшите сі‰, жерцы2, и3 вонми1те, д0ме ї}левъ, и3 д0ме царeвъ, внуши1те, понeже къ вaмъ є4сть сyдъ: ћкw пругло2 бhсте стражбЁ, и3 ћкоже мрeжа распростeрта на їтавmрjи, | Hear these things, ye priests; and attend, O house of Israel; and hearken, O house of the king; for the controversy is with you, because ye have been a snare in Scopia, and as a net spread on Itabyrium, |

| ю4же ловsщіи л0въ поткнyша, ѓзъ же наказaтель вaмъ: | which they that hunt the prey have fixed: but I will correct you. |
|

|
| ѓзъ познaхъ є3фрeма, и3 ї}ль не tступи2 t менє2, занE нн7э соблуди2 є3фрeмъ, и3 њскверни1сz ї}ль: | I know Ephraim, and Israel is not far from me: for now Ephraim has gone grievously a-whoring, Israel is defiled. |

|
| не положи1ша помышлeній свои1хъ, є4же возврати1тисz къ бGу своемY, ћкw дyхъ блужeніz є4сть въ ни1хъ, и3 гDа не ўвёдэша. | They have not framed their counsels to return to their God, for the spirit of fornication is in them, and they have not known the Lord. |

|
| И# смири1тсz ўкори1зна ї}лева въ лицE є3мY, и3 ї}ль и3 є3фрeмъ и3знем0гутъ въ непрaвдахъ свои1хъ, и3знем0жетъ же и3 їyда съ ни1ми. | And the pride of Israel shall be brought low before his face; and Israel and Ephraim shall fall in their iniquities; and Judas also shall fall with them. |

| Со nвцaми и3 телцы6 п0йдутъ взыскaти гDа и3 не њбрsщутъ є3гw2, ўклони1сz бо t ни1хъ. | They shall go with sheep and calves diligently to seek the Lord; but they shall not find him, for he has withdrawn himself from them. |
|

|
| Ћкw гDа њстaвиша, ћкw ч†да ч{жда породи1ша себЁ: нн7э поsстъ | ржA, и3 прич†стіz и4хъ. | For they have forsaken the Lord; for strange children have been born to them: now shall the cankerworm devour them and their heritages. |
|

|
| Воструби1те труб0ю на х0лмэхъ, возгласи1те на выс0кихъ, проповёдите въ домY w4новэ, ўжасeсz веніамjнъ, | Blow ye the trumpet on the hills, sound aloud on the heights: proclaim in the house of On, Benjamin is amazed. |
|

| є3фрeмъ въ пaгубу бhсть во дни6 наказaніz: въ племенёхъ ї}левыхъ показaхъ вBрнаz. | Ephraim has come to nought in the days of reproof: in the tribes of Israel I have shown faithful dealings. |
|

|
| Бhша кн‰зи ї{дины ћкw прелагaюще предёлы: на нS и3злію2 ћкw в0ду гнёвъ м0й. | The princes of Juda became as they that removed the bounds: I will pour out upon them my fury as water. |
|

|
| СоwдолЁ є3фрeмъ сопeрника своего2, попрA сyдъ, ћкw начA ходи1ти в8слёдъ сyетныхъ. | Ephraim altogether prevailed against his adversary, he trod judgment under foot, for he began to go after vanities. |
|

|
12
|
| Ѓзъ же ћкw мzтeжъ є3фрeмови и3 ћкw nстeнъ д0му їyдину. | Therefore I will be as consternation to Ephraim, and as a goad to the house of Juda. |
|

|

| и3зцэли1тъ ны2 по двою2 дню6, въ дeнь трeтій воскрeснемъ и3 жи1ви бyдемъ пред8 ни1мъ, и3 ўвёмы: поженeмъ, є4же ўвёдэти гDа: ћкw ќтро гот0во њбрsщемъ є3го2, и3 пріи1детъ нaмъ ћкw д0ждь рaнній и3 п0здный земли2. | let us follow on to know the Lord: we shall find him ready as the morning, and he will come to us as the early and latter rain to the earth. |

| Галаaдъ грaдъ дёлаzй сyєтнаz, мутsй в0ду, | there the city Galaad despised me, working vanity, troubling water. |

| ґ крёпость твоS ћкw мyжа морскaгw разб0йника: скрhша жерцы2 пyть гDень, ўби1ша сікjму, ћкw беззак0ніе сотвори1ша. | And thy strength is that of a robber: the priests have hid the way, they have murdered the people of Sicima; for they have wrought iniquity in the house of Israel. |

| Вси2 любодёющіи, ћкw пeщь жег0ма на печeніе сожжeніz t плaмене, t примэшeніz тyка, д0ндеже вски1снетъ то2 всE. | They are all adulterers, as an oven glowing with flame for hot-baking, on account of the kneading of the dough, until it is leavened. |

| Во дни6 царeй вaшихъ начaша кн‰зи kри1тисz t вінA, простр0ша рyки сво‰ съ губи1тельми: | In the days of our kings, the princes began to be inflamed with wine: he stretched out his hand with pestilent fellows. |

| занE разгорёшасz ћкw пeщь сердцA и4хъ, внегдA ўстремлsтисz и5мъ: всю2 н0щь снA є3фрeмъ насhтисz, заyтра бhсть, и3 разгорёсz ћкw плaмень џгненный. | Wherefore their hearts are inflamed as an oven, while they rage all the night: Ephraim is satisfied with sleep; the morning is come; he is burnt up as a flame of fire. |

| И# снэд0ша чуждjи крёпость є3гw2, сeй же не разумЁ: и3 сэди6ны kви1шасz на нeмъ, џнъ же не познA. | Strangers devoured his strength, and he knew it not; and grey hairs came upon him, and he knew it not. |

| И# смири1тсz ўкори1зна ї}лева въ лицE є3мY: и3 не возврати1шасz ко гDу бGу своемY и3 не взыскaша є3гw2 во всёхъ си1хъ. | And the pride of Israel shall be brought down before his face: yet they have not returned to the Lord their God, neither have they diligently sought him for all this. |

| Накaжутсz мн0ю, ѓзъ же ўкрэпи1хъ мhшцу и4хъ, и3 на мS помhслиша ѕл†z. | They were instructed by me, and I strengthened their arms; and they devised evils against me. |

| Соврати1шасz ни во чт0же, бhша ћкw лyкъ напрzжeнъ: падyтсz кн‰зи и4хъ мечeмъ рaди ненаказaніz kзhка своегw2. СіE ругaніе и4хъ въ земли2 є3гЂпетстэй. | They turned aside to that which is not, they became as a bent bow: their princes shall fall by the sword, by reason of the unbridled state of their tongue: this is their setting at nought in the land of Egypt. |

| Сaми себЁ царS постaвиша, ґ не мн0ю, начaлствоваша, и3 не kви1ша ми2: t сребрA своегw2 и3 t злaта своегw2 сотвори1ша себЁ кумjры, ћкw да потребsтсz. | They have made kings for themselves, but not by me: they have ruled, but they did not make it known to me: of their silver and their gold they have made images to themselves, that they might be destroyed. |

| И# то2 древодёль сотвори2, и3 нёсть бGъ: занE льстsй бsше телeцъ тв0й, самарjе. | Whereas the workman made it, and it is not God; wherefore thy calf, Samaria, was a deceiver: |

| Ћкw вётромъ и3стлёно всёzша, и3 разрушeніе и4хъ пріи1метъ |: рукоsть не и3мyщаz си1лы є4же сотвори1ти мукY, ѓще же и3 сотвори1тъ, то2 чуждjи поzдsтъ ю5. | for they sowed blighted seed, and their destruction shall await them, a sheaf of corn that avails not to make meal; and even if it should produce it, strangers shall devour it. |

| Поглощeнъ бhсть ї}ль, нн7э бhсть во kзhцэхъ ћкw сосyдъ непотрeбенъ, | Israel is swallowed up: now is he become among the nations as a worthless vessel. |

| понeже тjи взыд0ша ко ґссmрjанwмъ: процвэтE њ себЁ є3фрeмъ, дaры возлюби2. | For they have gone up to the Assyrians: Ephraim has been strengthened against himself; they loved gifts. |

| Сегw2 рaди предадyтсz во kзhки: нн7э воспріимY и5хъ, и3 почjютъ мaлw є4же помaзати царS и3 кн‰зи. | Therefore shall they be delivered to the nations: now I will receive them, and they shall cease a little to anoint a king and princes. |

| Ћкw ўмн0жи є3фрeмъ трє1бища, во грэхи2 бhша є3мY трє1бища возлю1блєннаz. | Because Ephraim has multiplied altars, his beloved altars are become sins to him. |

| ВпишY є3мY мн0жество, и3 закHннаz є3гw2 въ чужд†z вмэни1шасz трє1бища возлю1блєннаz. | I will write down a multitude of commands for him; but his statutes are accounted strange things, even the beloved altars. |

| Тёмже ѓще и3 пожрyтъ жeртву и3 снэдsтъ мzсA, гDь не пріи1метъ и4хъ: нн7э помzнeтъ непр†вды и4хъ и3 tмсти1тъ грэхи2 и4хъ: тjи во є3гЂпетъ возврати1шасz и3 во ґссmрjи нечи6стаz снэдsтъ. | For if they should offer a sacrifice, and eat flesh, the Lord will not accept them: now will he remember their iniquities, and will take vengeance on their sins: they have returned to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things among the Assyrians. |

| Не возліsша гDеви вінA, и3 не ўслади1шасz є3мY трє1бы и4хъ, ћкw хлёбъ жaлости и5мъ: вси2 kдyщіи ты6z њсквернsтсz: понeже хлёбы и4хъ дyшъ и4хъ, не вни1дутъ въ д0мъ гDень. | They have not offered wine to the Lord, neither have their sacrifices been sweet to him, but as the bread of mourning to them; all that eat them shall be defiled; for their bread for their soul shall not enter into the house of the Lord. |

| Ћкоже грeзнъ въ пустhни њбрэт0хъ ї}лz и3 ћкw стрaжа на смок0вницэ рaннzго ўви1дэхъ nтцы2 и4хъ: тjи внид0ша ко веельфегHру и3 tчужди1шасz на стыдёніе, и3 бhша мeрзостніи ћкоже возлю1бленніи. | I found Israel as grapes in the wilderness, and I saw their fathers as an early watchman in a fig-tree: they went in to Beel-phegor, and were shamefully estranged, and the abominable became as the beloved. |

| Е#фрeмъ, ћкоже ви1дэхъ, въ лови1тву предпостaвиша ч†да сво‰, и3 є3фрeмъ є4же и3звести2 на заколeніе ч†да сво‰. | Ephraim, even as I saw, gave their children for a prey; yea, Ephraim was ready to bring out his children to slaughter. |

| Дaждь и5мъ, гDи: что2 дaси и5мъ; дaждь и5мъ ўтр0бу неплодsщую и3 сосцы2 с{хи. | Give them, O Lord: what wilt thou give them? a miscarrying womb, and dry breasts. |

| Вс‰ ѕлHбы и4хъ во галгaлэхъ, ћкw тaмw и5хъ возненави1дэхъ за ѕлHбы начинaній и4хъ: и3з8 д0му моегw2 и3зженY |, (ксемY) не приложY люби1ти и5хъ: | All their wickedness is in Galgal: for there I hated them: because of the wickedness of their practices, I will cast them out of my house, I will not love them any more: all their princes are disobedient. |

| вси2 кн‰зи и4хъ непокори1ви. ПоболЁ є3фрeмъ: корeніе є3гw2 и3зсх0ша, плодA ксемY да не принесeтъ: понeже ѓще и3 породsтъ, побію2 вожделBннаz ўтр0бъ и4хъ. | Ephraim is sick, he is dried up at his roots, he shall in no wise any more bear fruit: wherefore even if they should beget children, I will kill the desired fruit of their womb. |

| Е#фрeмъ ю4ница научeнаz, є4же люби1ти прёніе: ѓзъ же найдY на добр0ту вhи є3S, наступлю2 на є3фрeма, ўмолчY њ їyдэ, ўкрэпи1тсz себЁ їaкwвъ. | Ephraim is a heifer taught to love victory, but I will come upon the fairest part of her neck: I will mount Ephraim; I will pass over Juda in silence; Jacob shall prevail against him. |

| Заyтра tверг0шасz, tвeржесz цaрь ї}левъ, понeже младeнецъ ї}ль, и3 ѓзъ возлюби1хъ є3го2 и3 и3з8 є3гЂпта воззвaхъ сhна моего2. | Early in the morning were they cast off, the king of Israel has been cast off: for Israel is a child, and I loved him, and out of Egypt have I called his children. |

| Ћкоже призвaхъ |, тaкожде tхождaху t лицA моегw2: тjи ваалjму трeбу жрsху и3 и3зв†zнымъ кадsху. | As I called them, so they departed from my presence: they sacrificed to Baalim, and burnt incense to graven images. |

| Ѓзъ же свzзaхъ є3фрeма, взsхъ є3го2 на мhшцу мою2, и3 не разумёша, ћкw и3зцэли1хъ |. | Yet I bound the feet of Ephraim, I took him on my arm; but they knew not that I healed them. |

| Во и3стлёніи человёчестэ привлек0хъ | ќзами люблeніz моегw2, и3 бyду и5мъ ћкw ўдарszй человёкъ по чeлюстемъ є3гw2: и3 воззрю2 къ немY и3 премогY є3мY. | When men were destroyed, I drew them with the bands of my love: and I will be to them as a man smiting another on his cheek: and I will have respect to him, I will prevail with him. |

| Всели1сz є3фрeмъ во є3гЂптэ, ґссyръ же сaмъ цaрь є3гw2, ћкw не восхотЁ возврати1тисz. | Ephraim dwelt in Egypt; and as for the Assyrian, he was his king, because he would not return. |

| И# и3знем0же nрyжіе во градёхъ є3гw2, и3 ўмолчE въ рукY є3гw2: и3 снэдsтъ t ўмышлeній свои1хъ. | And in his cities he prevailed not with the sword, and he ceased to war with his hands: and they shall eat of the fruit of their own devices: |

| И# лю1діе є3гw2 ви1сzще t њбитaніz своегw2: и3 бGъ на чєстнaz є3гw2 разгнёваетсz, и3 не вознесeтъ є3гw2. | and his people shall cleave fondly to their habitation; but God shall be angry with his precious things, and shall not at all exalt him. |

| Чт0 тz ўстр0ю, є3фрeме; защищy ли тS, ї}лю; чт0 тz положY; Ћкоже ґдамY ўстр0ю тS, и3 ћкоже севоjмъ, преврати1сz сeрдце моE въ нeмъ, смzтeсz раскazніе моE. | How shall I deal with thee, Ephraim? how shall I protect thee, Israel? what shall I do with thee? I will make thee as Adama, and as Seboim; my heart is turned at once, my repentance is powerfully excited. |

| Не сотворю2 по гнёву ћрости моеS, не њстaвлю є4же потреби1тисz є3фрeмови, занE бGъ ѓзъ є4смь, ґ не человёкъ: въ тебЁ с™ъ, и3 не вни1ду во грaдъ. | I will not act according to the fury of my wrath, I will not abandon Ephraim to be utterly destroyed: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One within thee: and I will not enter into the city. |

| Вслёдъ гDа и4мамъ ходи1ти: ћкw лeвъ возревeтъ, понeже т0й возревeтъ, и3 ўжaснутсz ч†да в0дъ, | I will go after the Lord: he shall utter his voice as a lion: for he shall roar, and the children of the waters shall be amazed. |

| и3 пріи1дутъ ћкw пти1ца и3з8 є3гЂпта и3 ћкw г0лубь t земли2 ґссЂрски: и3 возстaвлю | въ домёхъ и4хъ, гlетъ гDь. | They shall be amazed and fly as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of the Assyrians: and I will restore them to their houses, saith the Lord. |

| Е#фрeмъ же ѕ0лъ дyхъ, гонsше зн0й вeсь дeнь: тщє1тнаz и3 сyєтнаz ўмн0жи, и3 завётъ со ґссmр‡аны завэщA, и3 є3лeй во є3гЂпетъ посылaше. | Ephraim has compassed me with falsehood, and the house of Israel and Juda with ungodliness: but now God knows them, and they shall be called God's holy people. |

| И# сyдъ гDеви ко їyдэ, є4же tмсти1ти їaкwва: по путє1мъ є3гw2 и3 по начинaніємъ є3гw2 воздaстъ є3мY. | But Ephraim is an evil spirit, he has chased the east wind all the day: he has multiplied empty and vain things, and made a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil has gone in the way of traffic into Egypt. |

| Во ўтр0бэ запS брaта своего2 и3 труды6 свои1ми ўкрэпЁ къ бGу: | And the Lord has a controversy with Juda, in order to punish Jacob: according to his ways and according to his practices will he recompense him. |

| и3 ўкрэпЁ со ѓгGломъ и3 превозм0же. Плaкашасz и3 моли1шасz ми2: въ домY w4новэ њбрэт0ша мS, и3 тY глаг0ласz къ ни6мъ. | He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and in his labours he had power with God. |

| ГDь же бGъ вседержи1тель бyдетъ пaмzть є3гw2. | And he prevailed with the angel and was strong: they wept, and intreated me: they found me in the house of On, and there a word was spoken to them. |

| И# ты2 њ бз7э своeмъ њбрати1шисz, ми1лость и3 сyдъ снабди2, и3 приближaйсz къ бGу своемY пrнw. | But the Lord God Almighty shall be his memorial. |

| Ханаaнъ, въ руцЁ є3гw2 мёрило непрaвды, наси1льствовати возлюби2. | Thou therefore shalt return to thy God: keep thou mercy and judgment, and draw nigh to thy God continually. |

| И# речE є3фрeмъ: nбaче њбогатёхъ, њбрэт0хъ прохлаждeніе себЁ: вси2 труды2 є3гw2 не њбрsщутсz є3мY рaди непрaвдъ, и4миже согрэши2. | As for Chanaan, in his hand is a balance of unrighteousness: he has loved to tyrannise. |

| Ѓзъ же гDь бGъ тв0й, и3звед0хъ тS и3з8 земли2 є3гЂпетски: є3щE вселю2 тS въ кyщахъ, ћкоже во дни6 прaздника. | And Ephraim said, Nevertheless I am rich, I have found refreshment to myself. None of his labours shall be found available to him, by reason of the sins which he has committed. |

| И# гlахъ ко прbр0кwмъ, и3 ѓзъ видBніz ўмн0жихъ, и3 въ рукaхъ прbр0ческихъ ўпод0бихсz. | But I the Lord thy God brought thee up out of the land of Egypt: I will yet cause thee to dwell in tabernacles, according to the days of the feast. |

| Ѓще не галаaдъ є4сть, u5бо л0жни бhша во галгaлэхъ кн‰зи трє1бы кладyще, и3 трє1бища и4хъ ћкоже жeлви на цэли1знэ польстёй. | And I will speak to the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and by the means of the prophets I was represented. |

| И# tи1де їaкwвъ на п0ле сmрjйско, и3 раб0та ї}ль њ женЁ и3 њ женЁ снабдЁ. | If Galaad exists not, then the chiefs in Galaad when they sacrificed were false, and their altars were as heaps on the ground of the field. |

| И# прbр0комъ и3зведE гDь ї}лz и3з8 земли2 є3гЂпетскіz, и3 прbр0комъ снабдёсz. | And Jacob retreated into the plain of Syria, and Israel served for a wife, and waited for a wife. |

| Разгнёва мS є3фрeмъ и3 воз8zри1 мz: и3 кр0вь є3гw2 на нeмъ проліeтсz, и3 ўкори1зну є3гw2 воздaстъ є3мY гDь. | And the Lord brought Israel out of the land of Egypt by a prophet, and by a prophet was he preserved. |

| По словеси2 є3фрeмову њправд†ніz пріS сeй во ї}ли, и3 положи2 | ваaлови, и3 ќмре. | According to the word of Ephraim he adopted ordinances for himself in Israel; and he established them for Baal, and died. |

| И# нн7э приложи1ша согрэшaти и3 сотвори1ша себЁ сліsніе t злaта и3 сребрA своегw2 по w4бразу јдwлwвъ, дэлA худ0жникwвъ совершє1на: и5мъ сjи глаг0лютъ: пожри1те человёкwвъ, њскудёша бо телцы2. | And now they have sinned increasingly, and have made for themselves a molten image of their silver, according to the fashion of idols, the work of artificers accomplished for them: they say, Sacrifice men, for the calves have come to an end. |

| Сегw2 рaди бyдутъ ћкw w4блакъ ќтренній, ћкоже росA ќтреннzz и3дyщи, ћкоже плeвы съ т0ка (и3 прaхъ съ вётвіz) развэвaемый ви1хромъ, ћкоже дhмъ и3з8 трубы2. | Therefore shall they be as a morning cloud, and as the early dew that passes away, as chaff blown away from the threshing-floor, and as a vapour from tears. |

| Ѓзъ же гDь бGъ тв0й ўтверждazй нeбо и3 созидazй зeмлю, є3гHже рyцэ создaстэ всE в0инство небeсное, и3 не показaхъ ти2 и5хъ, є4же ходи1ти в8слёдъ и4хъ: и3 ѓзъ и3звед0хъ тS и3з8 земли2 є3гЂпетскіz, и3 бGа рaзвэ менє2 да не познaеши, и3 сп7сaющагw нёсть рaзвэ менє2. | But I am the Lord thy God that establishes the heaven, and creates the earth, whose hands have framed the whole host of heaven: but I shewed them not to thee that thou shouldest go after them: and I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no God but me; and there is no Saviour beside me. |

| Ѓзъ пас0хъ тS въ пустhни на земли2 ненаселeннэй, | I tended thee as a shepherd in the wilderness, in an uninhabited land. |

| на пaжитехъ и4хъ, и3 насhтишасz до и3сполнeніz, и3 вознес0шасz сердцA и4хъ, сегw2 рaди забhша мS. | According to their pastures, so they were completely filled; and their hearts were exalted; therefore they forgot me. |

| И# бyду и5мъ ћкw панfи1рь, и3 ћкw рhсь на пути2 ґссmрjєвъ: | And I will be to them as a panther, and as a leopard. |

|
| и3 срsщу и5хъ ѓки медвёдица лишaема, и3 разрушY соключeніе сердeцъ и4хъ: и3 поzдsтъ | скЂмни дубрaвніи, и3 ѕвёріе польстjи раст0ргнутъ |. | I will meet them by the way of the Assyrians, as a she-bear excited, and I will rend the caul of their heart, and the lions' whelps of the thicket shall devour them there; the wild beasts of the field shall rend them in pieces. |

| Въ поги1бели твоeй, ї}лю, кто2 пом0жетъ тебЁ; | O Israel, who will aid thee in thy destruction? |

|
| ГдЁ цaрь тв0й сeй; т0й да спасeтъ тS во всёхъ градёхъ твои1хъ: и3 да сyдитъ ти2, њ нeмже глаг0лалъ є3си2: дaждь ми2 царS и3 кнsзz. | Where is this thy king? let him even save thee in all thy cities: let him judge thee, of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and a prince. |

| И# дaхъ тебЁ царS во гнёвэ моeмъ, и3 ўтвержaхсz въ ћрости моeй. | And I gave thee a king in mine anger, and kept him back in my wrath. |

| Согромаждeніе непрaвды є3фрeмъ, сокровeнъ грёхъ є3гw2: | Ephraim has framed a conspiracy of unrighteousness, his sin is hidden. |

|
| бwлёзни ѓки раждaющіz пріи1дутъ є3мY: сeй сhнъ немyдрый, занE нн7э не ўстои1тъ въ сокрушeніи ч†дъ. | Pains as of a woman in travail shall come upon him: he is thy wise son, because he shall not stay in the destruction of thy children. |

| T руки2 ѓдовы и3збaвлю | и3 t смeрти и3скуплю2 |: гдЁ прS твоS, смeрте; гдЁ nстeнъ тв0й, ѓде; ўтэшeніе скрhсz t џчію моє1ю: | I will deliver them out of the power of Hades, and will redeem them from death: where is thy penalty, O death? O Hades, where is thy sting? comfort is hidden from mine eyes. |

| занE сeй междY брaтіzми разлучи1тъ: наведeтъ гDь вётръ зн0енъ и3з8 пустhни нaнь, и3 и3зсуши1тъ жи6лы є3гw2 и3 њпустоши1тъ и3ст0чники є3гw2: сeй и3зсуши1тъ зeмлю є3гw2 и3 вс‰ сосyды є3гw2 люби6мыz. | Forasmuch as he will cause a division among his brethren, the Lord shall bring upon him an east wind from the desert, and shall dry up his veins and quite drain his fountains: he shall dry up his land, and spoil all his precious vessels. |

| Њбрати1сz, ї}лю, ко гDу бGу твоемY, занE и3знем0глъ є3си2 въ непрaвдахъ твои1хъ. | Return, O Israel, to the Lord thy God; for the people have fallen through thine iniquities. |

| Возми1те съ соб0ю словесA и3 њбрати1тесz ко гDу бGу вaшему, рцhте є3мY: (м0жеши всsкъ tврещи2 грёхъ:) ћкw да не пріи1мете непрaвды, но да пріи1мете благ†z, и3 воздади1мъ пл0дъ ўстeнъ нaшихъ. | Take with you words, and turn to the Lord your God: speak to him, that ye may not receive the reward of unrighteousness, but that ye may receive good things: and we will render in return the fruit of our lips. |

| Ґссyръ не спасeтъ нaсъ, на к0ни не взhдемъ, ксемY не речeмъ: | Assur shall never save us; we will not mount on horseback; we will no longer say to the works of our hands, Our gods. He who is in thee shall pity the orphan. |

| б0зи нaши, дэлaмъ рyкъ нaшихъ: ћкw въ тебЁ поми1луетсz сиротA. И#зцэлю2 селє1ніz и4хъ, возлюблю2 | kвлeннw, ћкw tврати1сz гнёвъ м0й t ни1хъ. | I will restore their dwellings, I will love them truly: for he has turned away my wrath from him. |

| Бyду ћкоже росA ї}лю, процвэтeтъ ћкw крjнъ и3 прострeтъ корeніе своE ћкоже лівaнъ. | I will be as dew to Israel: he shall bloom as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Libanus. |

| П0йдутъ вBтви є3гw2, и3 бyдетъ ћкоже мaслина плодови1та, и3 њбонsніе є3гw2 ѓки лівaна: | His branches shall spread, and he shall be as a fruitful olive, and his smell shall be as the smell of Libanus. |

| њбратsтсz и3 сsдутъ под8 кр0вомъ є3гw2, поживyтъ и3 ўтвердsтсz пшени1цею, и3 процвэтeтъ ћкw віногрaдъ пaмzть є3гw2, ћкоже віно2 лівaново. | They shall return, and dwell under his shadow: they shall live and be satisfied with corn, and he shall flower as a vine: his memorial shall be to Ephraim as the wine of Libanus. |

| Е#фрeмови что2 є3мY є3щE и3 кумjрwмъ; ѓзъ смири1хъ є3го2, ѓзъ и3 ўкрэплю2 є3го2: ѓки смeрчіе ўчащeное, t менє2 њбрётесz пл0дъ тв0й. | What has he to do any more with idols? I have afflicted him, and I will strengthen him: I am as a leafy juniper tree. From me is thy fruit found. |

| Кто2 премyдръ и3 ўразумёетъ сі‰; и3 смhсленъ, и3 ўвёсть сі‰; ћкw пр†вы путіE гDни, и3 првdніи п0йдутъ въ ни1хъ, ґ нечести1віи и3знем0гутъ въ ни1хъ. | Who is wise, and will understand these things? or prudent, and will know them? for the ways of the Lord are straight, and the righteous shall walk in them: but the ungodly shall fall therein. |
