| и3 создA во є3кватaнэхъ w4крестъ стёны t кaменей тeсаныхъ въ широтY лaктей тріeхъ, ґ въ долготY лaктей шести2, и3 сотвори2 высотY стэны2 лaктей седми1десzти, ґ широтY є3S лaктей пzти1десzти: | and built in Ecbatane walls round about of stones hewn three cubits broad and six cubits long, and made the height of the wall seventy cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits: |

3
| и3 столпы2 є3S постaви на вратёхъ є3гw2 лaктей сто2, и3 широтY и4хъ њсновA на лaктей шетьдесsтъ: | and set the towers thereof upon the gates of it, an hundred cubits high, and the breadth thereof in the foundation threescore cubits: |
4

4
| и3 сотвори2 вратA є3гw2 вратA воздви1жєна въ высотY лaктей седмьдесzтъ, ґ широтY и4хъ лaктей четhредесzть ко и3сх0ду си1лъ си1льныхъ є3гw2 и3 ўстроeніємъ пэшцє1въ є3гw2: | and he made the gates thereof, even gates that were raised to the height of seventy cubits, and the breadth of them was forty cubits, for the going forth of his mighty armies, and for the setting in array of his footmen: |
5
5
| и3 сотвори2 брaнь во дни6 w4ны цaрь навуходон0соръ на царS ґрфаxaда на п0ли вели1цэмъ, є4же є4сть въ предёлэхъ рагavлихъ. | Even in those days king Nabuchodonosor made war with king Arphaxad in the great plain, which is the plain in the borders of Ragau. |
6
6
| И# собрaшасz къ немY вси2 живyщіи въ г0рней и3 вси2 њбитaющіи при є3vфрaтэ и3 тjгрэ и3 v3дaспи и3 на п0ли ґріHха царS є3лmмеHнска, и3 собрaшасz kзhцы мн0зи ѕэлw2 на њполчeніе сынHвъ хелеyдихъ. | And there came unto him all they that dwelt in the hill country, and all that dwelt by Euphrates, and Tigris, and Hydaspes, and the plain of Arioch the king of the Elymeans, and very many nations of the sons of Cheleul, assembled themselves to the battle. |
7
7
| И# послA навуходон0соръ цaрь ґссmрjйскій ко всBмъ њбитaющымъ въ персjдэ и3 ко всBмъ живyщымъ къ зaпадwмъ, њбитaющымъ въ кілікjи и3 дамaсцэ, и3 лівaнэ и3 ґнтілівaнэ, и3 ко всBмъ живyщымъ на лицы2 прим0ріz, | Then Nabuchodonosor king of the Assyrians sent unto all that dwelt in Persia, and to all that dwelt westward, and to those that dwelt in Cilicia, and Damascus, and Libanus, and Antilibanus, and to all that dwelt upon the sea coast, |
8
8
| и3 къ сyщымъ во kзhцэхъ карми1ла и3 въ галаaдэ, и3 въ вhшней галілeи и3 на вели1цэмъ п0ли є3сдрилHна, | and to those among the nations that were of Carmel, and Galaad, and the higher Galilee, and the great plain of Esdrelom, |

10
10
| д0ндеже пріити2 вhше тaниса и3 мeмфиса, и3 ко всBмъ њбитaющымъ во є3гЂптэ, д0ндеже пріити2 на предёлы є3Fі0піи. | until ye come beyond Tanis and Memphis, and to all the inhabitants of Egypt, until ye come to the borders of Ethiopia. |
11
11
| И# ни во что2 вмэни1ша вси2 њбитaющіи по всeй земли2 сл0во навуходон0сора царS ґссmрjйска, и3 не снид0шасz къ немY на брaнь, понeже не боsшасz є3гw2, но бhсть пред8 ни1ми ѓки мyжъ є3ди1нъ: и3 возврати1ша послaнникwвъ є3гw2 тщи1хъ со безчeстіемъ t лицA своегw2. | But all the inhabitants of the land made light of the commandment of Nabuchodonosor king of the Assyrians, neither went they with him to the battle; for they were not afraid of him: yea, he was before them as one man, and they sent away his ambassadors from them without effect, and with disgrace. |
12
12
| Therefore Nabuchodonosor was very angry with all this country, and sware by his throne and kingdom, that he would surely be avenged upon all those coasts of Cilicia, and Damascus, and Syria, and that he would slay with the sword all the inhabitants of the land of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and all Judea, and all that were in Egypt, till ye come to the borders of the two seas. |
13
13
| И# њполчи1сz въ си1лэ своeй на ґрфаxaда царS въ лёто седмоенaдесzть, и3 њдолЁ на брaни своeй, и3 побэди2 всю2 си1лу ґрфаxaдову и3 всю2 к0нницу є3гw2 и3 вс‰ колєсни1цы є3гw2, | Then he marched in battle array with his power against king Arphaxad in the seventeenth year, and he prevailed in his battle: for he overthrew all the power of Arphaxad, and all his horsemen, and all his chariots, |
14
14
| и3 воз8wбладA грaдами є3гw2: и3 пріи1де дaже до є3кватaнъ, и3 њдержA столпы2, и3 плэни2 стHгны є3гw2, и3 красотY є3гw2 положи2 во ўничижeніе є3гw2: | and became lord of his cities, and came unto Ecbatane, and took the towers, and spoiled the streets thereof, and turned the beauty thereof into shame. |
15
15
| и3 взS ґрфаxaда на горaхъ рагaвлихъ, и3 и3збодE є3го2 сyлицами свои1ми, и3 и3стреби2 є3го2 дaже въ дeнь џный: | He took also Arphaxad in the mountains of Ragau, and smote him through with his darts, and destroyed him utterly that day. |
16
16
| и3 возврати1сz съ ни1ми въ нінеvjю сaмъ и3 всE присовокуплeніе є3гw2, мн0жество мужeй рaтныхъ мн0гое ѕэлw2, и3 бЁ тaмw почивaz и3 пи1ршествуz сaмъ и3 си1ла є3гw2 днjй сто2 двaдесzть. | So he returned afterward to Nineve, both he and all his company of sundry nations, being a very great multitude of men of war, and there he took his ease, and banqueted, both he and his army, an hundred and twenty days. |

3

Nay, my brethren, provoke not the Lord our God to anger. |
