Въ ты6z дни6 не бsше царS во ї}ли: и3 въ ты6z дни6 плeмz дaново и3скaше себЁ наслёдіz всели1тисz, ћкw не падE є3мY наслёдіе до днjй џныхъ средЁ племeнъ сынHвъ ї}левыхъ.	In those days there was no king in Israel; and in those days the tribe of Dan sought for itself an inheritance to inhabit, because no inheritance had fallen to it until that day in the midst of the tribes of the children of Israel.

И# послaша сhнове дaнwвы t с0нмwвъ свои1хъ пsть мужeй t чaсти своеS, мyжы си6льны t сараи2 и3 є3сfа0ла, соглsдати зeмлю и3 и3зслёдити ю5, и3 рек0ша къ ни6мъ: и3ди1те и3 и3зслёдите зeмлю. И# пріид0ша до горы2 є3фрeмли, до д0му мjхина, и3 стaша тaмw въ домY мjхи.	And the sons of Dan sent from their families five men of valour, from Saraa and from Esthaol, to spy out the land and to search it; and they said to them, Go and search out the land. And they came as far as the mount of Ephraim to the house of Michaias and they lodged there,

И# тjи познaша глaсъ ю4ноши леvjтина, и3 ўклони1шасz тaмw, и3 рек0ша є3мY: кто2 тS приведE сёмw; и3 что2 твори1ши въ мёстэ сeмъ; и3 что2 тебЁ здЁ;	in the house of Michaias, and they recognised the voice of the young man the Levite, and turned in thither; and said to him, Who brought thee in hither? and what doest thou in this place? and what hast thou here?

И# речE и5мъ: си1це и3 си1це сотвори2 мнЁ мjха, и3 наS мS, и3 бhхъ є3мY жрeцъ.	And he said to them, Thus and thus did Michaias to me, and he hired me, and I became his priest.

И# рек0ша є3мY: вопроси2 u5бо бGа, и3 ўвёмы, ѓще благопоспэши1тсz пyть нaшъ, въ џньже мы2 и4демъ.	And they said to him, Enquire now of God, and we shall know whether our way will prosper, on which we are going.

И# речE и5мъ жрeцъ: и3ди1те съ ми1ромъ: пред8 гDемъ пyть вaшъ, въ џньже и4дете.	And the priest said to them, Go in peace; your way in which ye go, is before the Lord.

И# и3д0ша пsть мyжіе и3 пріид0ша въ лаjсъ: и3 ви1дэша людjй живyщихъ въ нeмъ, сэдsщихъ со ўповaніемъ по њбhчаю сідHнzнъ, въ тишинЁ и3 надeждэ, и3 не бЁ ўстрашazй, и3ли2 посрамлszй словесE на земли2, наслёдникъ и3стzзyzй сокрHвища: занE далeче бsху t сідHнzнъ, и3 не и3мsху словесE съ кjимъ либо человёкомъ.	And the five men went on, and came to Laisa; and they saw the people in the midst of it dwelling securely, at ease as is the manner of the Sidonians, and there is no one perverting or shaming a matter in the land, no heir extorting treasures; and they are far from the Sidonians, and they have no intercourse with any one.

И# пріид0ша пsть мужeй ко брaтіи своeй въ сараю2 и3 є3сfа0лъ и3 рек0ша брaтіи своeй: что2 вы2 сэдитE;	And the five men came to their brethren to Saraa and Esthaol, and said to their brethren, Why sit ye here idle?

И# рёша: востaните, и3 взhдемъ на нS, занE ви1дэхомъ зeмлю, и3 сE, благA ѕэлw2, и3 вы2 молчи1те: не њблэни1тесz и3ти2 и3 вни1ти є4же наслёдити зeмлю:	And they said, Arise, and let us go up against them, for we have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good, yet ye are still: delay not to go, and to enter in to possess the land.

и3 є3гдA пріи1дете, вни1дете въ лю1ди живyщыz со ўповaніемъ, ґ землS прострaнна: ћкw предадE ю5 бGъ въ рyки вaшz, мёсто на нeмже нёсть скyдости во всeмъ є4же на земли2.	And whensoever ye shall go, ye shall come in upon a people secure, and the land is extensive, for God has given it into your hand; a place where there is no want of anything that the earth affords.

И# воздвиг0шасz tтyду t плeмене дaнова, t сараи2 и3 є3сfа0ла, шeсть сHтъ мужeй препоsсани во nрyжіе њполчeніz,	And there departed thence of the families of Dan, from Saraa and from Esthaol, six hundred men, girded with weapons of war.

и3 взыд0ша и3 њполчи1шасz въ каріаfіарjмэ во їyдэ: сегw2 рaди наречeсz мёсто то2 п0лкъ дaновъ и3 до сегw2 днE: сE созади2 каріаfіарjма.	And they went up, and encamped in Cariathiarim in Juda; therefore it was called in that place the camp of Dan, until this day: behold, it is behind Cariathiarim.

И# преид0ша tтyду въ г0ру є3фрeмлю и3 пріид0ша до д0му мjхина.	And they went on thence to the mount of Ephraim, and came to the house of Michaias.

И# tвэщaша пsть мужeй ходи1вшіи соглsдати зeмлю лаjсъ и3 рек0ша ко брaтіи своeй: разумёсте ли, ћкw є4сть въ домY сeмъ є3фyдъ и3 fерафjнъ, и3 и3звazно и3 сліsно; и3 нн7э ўвёдите, что2 сотворитE.	And the five men who went to spy out the land of Laisa answered, and said to their brethren, Ye know that there is in this place an ephod, and theraphin, and a graven and a molten image; and now consider what ye shall do.

И# ўклони1шасz тaмw и3 внид0ша въ д0мъ ю4ноши леvjтина, въ д0мъ мjхинъ, и3 вопроси1ша є3го2 въ ми1рэ.	And they turned aside there, and went into the house of the young man, the Levite, even into the house of Michaias, and asked him how he was.

И# шeсть сHтъ мужeй препоsсани во nрyжіе њполчeніz своегw2, стоsще ў двeрій врaтныхъ, и5же t сынHвъ дaновыхъ.	And the six hundred men of the sons of Dan who were girded with their weapons of war stood by the door of the gate.

И# взыд0ша пsть мужeй ходи1вшихъ соглsдати зeмлю: и3 вшeдше тaмw взsша и3звazно, и3 є3фyдъ и3 fерафjнъ, и3 сліsное: жрeцъ же стоsше ў двeрій врaтныхъ, и3 шeсть сHтъ мужeй препоsсани во nрyжіе в0инско:	And the five men who went to spy out the land went up, and entered into the house of Michaias, and the priest stood.

и3 сjи внид0ша въ д0мъ мjхинъ и3 взsша є3фyдъ и3 fерафjнъ, и3 сліsно и3 и3звazно. И# речE къ ни6мъ жрeцъ: что2 вы2 творитE;	And they took the graven image, and the ephod, and the theraphin, and the molten image; and the priest said to them, What are ye doing?

И# рёша є3мY: ўмолчи2, положи2 рyку твою2 на ўстA тво‰ и3 пойди2 съ нaми, и3 бyди нaмъ nтeцъ и3 жрeцъ: є3дA ќне є4сть тебЁ бhти жерцY є3ди1нагw мyжа д0му, нeжели бhти жерцY плeмени и3 д0му и3 с0нма ї}лева;	And they said to him, Be silent, lay thine hand upon thy mouth, and come with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it better for thee to be the priest of the house of one man, or to be the priest of a tribe and house for a family of Israel?

И# возблажA сeрдце жрeческо, и3 взS є3фyдъ и3 fерафjнъ, и3 и3звazное и3 сліsное, и3 вни1де посредЁ людjй.	And the heart of the priest was glad, and he took the ephod, and the theraphin, and the graven image, and the molten image, and went in the midst of the people.

И# возврати1шасz и3 tид0ша, и3 пусти1ша пред8 соб0ю ч†да и3 притzжaніе своE честн0е.	So they turned and departed, and put their children and their property and their baggage before them.

Ўдали1вшымсz же и5мъ t д0му мjхина, и3 сE, мjха и3 мyжіе и5же въ жили1щахъ, ±же съ д0момъ мjхинымъ бhша, воззвaша и3 постиг0ша сhны дaнwвы,	They went some distance from the house of Michaias, and, behold, Michaias and the men in the houses near Michaias' house, cried out, and overtook the children of Dan.

и3 возопи1ша къ сынHмъ дaнwвымъ: и3 њбрати1ша сhнове дaнwвы ли1ца сво‰ и3 рёша къ мjхэ: что2 є4сть тебЁ, ћкw воззвaлъ є3си2;	And the children of Dan turned their face, and said to Michaias, What is the matter with thee that thou hast cried out?

И# речE мjха: ћкw и3звazное моE, є4же сотвори1хъ, взsсте, и3 жерцA, и3 поид0сте: и3 что2 мнЁ є3щE; и3 что2 сіE глаг0лете мнЁ: что2 вопіeши;	And Michaias said, Because ye have taken my graven image which I made, and my priest, and are gone; and what have I remaining? and what is this that ye say to me, Why criest thou?

И# рек0ша є3мY сhнове дaнwвы: да не ўслhшитсz нн7э глaсъ тв0й в8слёдъ нaсъ, да не востaнутъ на вы2 мyжіе лю1тою душeю, и3 положи1ши дyшу твою2 и3 дyшу д0му твоегw2.	And the children of Dan said to him, Let not thy voice be heard with us, lest angry men run upon thee, and take away thy life, and the lives of thy house.

И# и3д0ша сhнове дaнwвы въ пyть св0й. И# ви1дэ мjха, ћкw си1льнэйшіи сyть пaче є3гw2, и3 возврати1сz въ д0мъ св0й.	And the children of Dan went their way; and Michaias saw that they were stronger than himself, and he returned to his house.

И# сhнове дaнwвы взsша, є3ли6ка сотвори2 мjха, и3 жерцA, и4же бsше ў негw2, и3 пріид0ша въ лаjсъ, къ лю1демъ молчaщымъ и3 ўповaющымъ надeждею, и3 и3зби1ша и5хъ џстріемъ мечA, и3 грaдъ сожг0ша nгнeмъ:	And the children of Dan took what Michaias had made, and the priest that he had, and they came to Laisa, to a people quiet and secure; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the city with fire.

и3 не бsше и3збавлszй, ћкw далeче бsху t сідHнzнъ, и3 словесE не бsше и5мъ съ человёкомъ: и3 сeй (грaдъ бhсть) во ўд0ліи д0му роHвлz: и3 согради1ша грaдъ и3 всели1шасz въ нeмъ,	And there was no deliverer, because the city is far from the Sidonians, and they have no intercourse with men, and it is in the valley of the house of Raab; and they built the city, and dwelt in it.

и3 нарек0ша грaду и4мz дaнъ, во и4мz дaна nтцA своегw2, и4же роди1сz ї}лю: и3 бsше прeжде и4мz грaду лаjсъ.	And they called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father, who was born to Israel; and the name of the city was Ulamais before.

И# постaвиша себЁ сhнове дaнwвы и3звazное: їwнаfaнъ же сhнъ гирсHнь сhнъ манассjинъ, т0й и3 сhнове є3гw2 бsху жерцы2 плeмени дaнову до днE преселeніz земли2:	And the children of Dan set up the graven image for themselves; and Jonathan son of Gerson son of Manasse, he and his sons were priests to the tribe of Dan till the time of the carrying away of the nation.

и3 постaвиша себЁ и3звazное, є4же сотвори2 мjха, во вс‰ дни6, въ нsже бsше д0мъ б9ій въ силHмэ.	And they set up for themselves the graven image which Michaias made, all the days that the house of God was in Selom; and it was so in those days that there was no king in Israel.
