| И# сни1де самpHнъ во fамнafу и3 ви1дэ женY во fамнafэ t дщeрей фmлістjмскихъ, и3 ўг0дна бhсть пред8 ни1мъ. | And Sampson went down to Thamnatha, and saw a woman in Thamnatha of the daughters of the Philistines. |

| И# взhде и3 повёда nтцY своемY и3 мaтери своeй, и3 речE: женY ви1дэхъ во fамнafэ t дщeрей фmлістjмскихъ, и3 нн7э поими1те ю5 мнЁ въ женY. | And he went up and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Thamnatha of the daughters of the Phylistines; and now take her to me for a wife. |

| И# речE є3мY nтeцъ є3гw2 и3 мaти є3гw2: є3дA нёсть дщeрей t брaтіи твоеS и3 t всёхъ людjй мои1хъ жены2, ћкw ты2 и4деши поsти женY t дщeрей и3ноплемeнникwвъ неwбрёзанныхъ; И# речE самpHнъ ко nтцY своемY: сію2 поими2 мнЁ, ћкw тA ўг0дна є4сть пред8 nчи1ма мои1ма. | And his father and his mother said to him, Are there no daughters of thy brethren, and is there not a woman of all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Sampson said to his father, Take her for me, for she is right in my eyes. |

| Nтeцъ же є3гw2 и3 мaти є3гw2 не разумёша, ћкw сіE t гDа є4сть, ћкw tмщeніz џнъ и4щетъ t фmлістjмлzнъ: въ т0 бо врeмz владsху фmлістjмлzне сы6ны ї}левыми. | And his father and his mother knew not that it was of the Lord, that he sought to be revenged on the Philistines: and at that time the Philistines lorded it over Israel. |

| И# сни1де самpHнъ и3 nтeцъ є3гw2 и3 мaти є3гw2 во fамнafу, и3 пріид0ша до віногрaда fамнafа: и3 сE, льви1чищь рыкaющь во срётеніе є3мY. | And Sampson and his father and his mother went down to Thamnatha, and he came to the vineyard of Thamnatha; and behold, a young lion roared in meeting him. |

| И# сни1де на него2 д¦ъ гDень, и3 растерзA є3го2 ћкw к0злища t к0зъ, и3 ничт0же бsше въ рукY є3гw2: и3 не повёда nтцY своемY и3 мaтери своeй, є4же сотвори2. | And the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him, and he crushed him as he would have crushed a kid of the goats, and there was nothing in his hands: and he told not his father and his mother what he had done. |

| И# поид0ша и3 рек0ша женЁ, и3 ўг0дна бhсть пред8 nчи1ма самpHна. | And they went down and spoke to the woman, and she was pleasing in the eyes of Sampson. |

| И# возврати1сz по днeхъ поsти ю5, и3 њбрати1сz ви1дэти трyпъ льв0въ, и3 сE, р0й пчeлъ во ўстёхъ льв0выхъ и3 мeдъ: | And after some time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcase of the lion; and behold, a swarm of bees, and honey were in the mouth of the lion. |

| и3 и3з8S є3го2 t ќстъ є3гw2 въ рyцэ свои2, и3 и3дsше и3дhй и3 kдhй: и3 п0йде ко nтцY своемY и3 мaтери своeй, и3 дадE и5мъ, и3 kд0ша: и3 не повёда и5мъ, ћкw t ќстъ льв0выхъ и3з8S сeй мeдъ. | And he took it into his hands, and went on eating, and he went to his father and his mother, and gave to them, and they did eat; but he told them not that he took the honey out of the mouth of the lion. |

| И# сни1де nтeцъ є3гw2 къ женЁ, и3 сотвори2 самpHнъ тaмw пи1ръ сeдмь днjй, ћкw тaкw творsтъ ю4ношы: | And his father went down to the woman, and Sampson made there a banquet for seven days, for so the young men are used to do. |

| и3 бhсть внегдA боsтисz и5мъ є3гw2, пристaвиша къ немY три1десzть другHвъ, и3 бhша съ ни1мъ: | And it came to pass when they saw him, that they took thirty guests, and they were with him. |

| и3 речE и5мъ самpHнъ: предлагaю нн7э вaмъ гадaніе, и3 ѓще tгадaюще повёдите мнЁ сіE въ сeдмь днjй пи1ра и3 њбрsщете, дaмъ вaмъ три1десzть понsвъ и3 три1десzть ри1зъ nдeждъ: | And Sampson said to them, I propound you a riddle: if ye will indeed tell it me, and discover it within the seven days of the feast, I will give you thirty sheets and thirty changes of raiment. |

| ѓще же не возм0жете сіE повёдати мнЁ, дади1те вы2 мнЁ три1десzть понsвъ и3 три1десzть ри1зъ и3змённыхъ. И# рек0ша є3мY: предложи2 гадaніе твоE, и3 ўслhшимъ є5. | And if ye cannot tell it me, ye shall give me thirty napkins and thirty changes of apparel: and they said to him, Propound thy riddle, and we will hear it. |

| И# глаг0ла и5мъ: t kдyщагw kд0мое и3зhде, и3 t крёпкагw и3зhде слaдкое. И# не мог0ша повёдати гадaніz до трeхъ днjй. | And he said to them, Meat came forth of the eater, and sweetness out of the strong: and they could not tell the riddle for three days. |

| И# бhсть въ дeнь четвeртый, и3 рек0ша женЁ самpHновэ: прельсти2 мyжа своего2, и3 да повёсть тебЁ гадaніе, да не сожжeмъ тS и3 д0мъ nтцA твоегw2 nгнeмъ: и3ли2 њуб0жити призвaсте ны2; | And it came to pass on the fourth day, that they said to the wife of Sampson, Deceive now thy husband, and let him tell thee the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father's house with fire: did ye invite us to do us violence? |

| И# плaкасz женA самpHнова пред8 ни1мъ и3 речE: рaзвэ возненави1дэлъ є3си2 менE и3 не возлюби1лъ є3си2 менE, ћкw гадaніz, є4же є3си2 предложи1лъ сынHмъ людjй мои1хъ, не повёдалъ є3си2 є3гw2 мнЁ. И# речE є4й самpHнъ: сE, nтцY моемY и3 мaтери моeй не повёдахъ сегw2, и3 тебё ли повёмъ; | And Sampson's wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not; for the riddle which thou hast propounded to the children of my people, thou hast not told me: and Sampson said to her, If I have not told it to my father and my mother, shall I tell it to thee? |

| И# плaкасz пред8 ни1мъ сeдмь днjй, въ нsже бЁ и5мъ пи1ръ. И# бhсть въ дeнь седмhй, и3 повёда є4й, ћкw стужи2 є3мY: и3 тA повёда сынHмъ людjй свои1хъ. | And she wept before him the seven days, during which their banquet lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she troubled him; and she told it to the children of her people. |

| И# рек0ша є3мY мyжіе грaдстіи въ дeнь седмhй прeжде зашeствіz с0лнца: что2 слaждше мeда; и3 что2 крёплэе львA; И# речE и5мъ самpHнъ: ѓще не бhсте њрaли ю4ницею моeю, не бhсте ўвёдали гадaніz моегw2. | And the men of the city said to him on the seventh day, before sunrise, What is sweeter than honey? and what is stronger than a lion? and Sampson said to them, If ye had not ploughed with my heifer, ye would not have known my riddle. |

| И# нападE на него2 д¦ъ гDень, и3 сни1де во ґскалHнъ, и3 и3зби2 тaмw три1десzть мужeй, и3 взS ри6зы и4хъ, и3 дадE ри6зы повёдавшымъ гадaніе. И# разгнёвасz ћростію самpHнъ, и3 взhде въ д0мъ nтцA своегw2. | And the Spirit of the Lord came upon him powerfully, and he went down to Ascalon, and destroyed of the inhabitants thirty men, and took their garments, and gave the changes of raiment to them that told the riddle; and Sampson was very angry, and went up to the house of his father. |

| Женa же самpHнова и4де за и3нaго мyжа, и4же бhсть є3ди1нъ t другHвъ є3гw2. | And the wife of Sampson was given to one of his friends, with whom he was on terms of friendship. |
