| Въ нача́лѣ ца́рства і҆ѡакі́ма сы́на і҆ѡсі́ина, царѧ̀ і҆ꙋ́дина, бы́сть сло́во сїѐ ко і҆еремі́и ѿ гдⷭ҇а гл҃ѧ: | The Word of the Lord which He spoke against Babylon. |

| та́кѡ речѐ гдⷭ҇ь: сотворѝ себѣ̀ оу҆́зы и҆ кла̑ды и҆ возложѝ на вы́ю свою̀, | Proclaim ye among the Gentiles, and cause the tidings to be heard, and suppress them not: say ye, Babylon is taken, Belus is confounded; the fearless, the luxurious Mærodach is delivered up. |

| и҆ да по́слеши ѧ҆̀ ко царю̀ і҆дꙋме́йскꙋ и҆ ко царю̀ мѡа́вскꙋ и҆ ко царю̀ сынѡ́въ а҆ммѡ́нихъ, и҆ ко царю̀ тѵ́рскꙋ и҆ ко царю̀ сїдѡ́нскꙋ, въ рꙋкꙋ̀ послѡ́въ и҆́хъ и҆дꙋ́щихъ срѣ́тенїемъ свои́мъ во і҆ерⷭ҇ли́мъ ко седекі́и царю̀ і҆ꙋ́динꙋ, | For a nation has come up against her from the north, he shall utterly ravage her land, and there shall be none to dwell in it, neither man nor beast. |

| и҆ завѣща́й и҆̀мъ ко господє́мъ и҆́хъ рещѝ: та́кѡ речѐ гдⷭ҇ь бг҃ъ і҆и҃левъ: та́кѡ рцы́те ко господє́мъ свои̑мъ: | In those days, and at that time, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Juda together; they shall proceed, weeping as they go, seeking the Lord their God. |

| а҆́зъ сотвори́хъ зе́млю и҆ человѣ́ка и҆ скоты̀, ꙗ҆̀же на лицы̀ землѝ, крѣ́постїю мое́ю вели́кою и҆ мы́шцею мое́ю высо́кою, и҆ да́мъ ю҆̀, є҆мꙋ́же бꙋ́детъ оу҆го́дно пред̾ ѻ҆чи́ма мои́ма. | They shall ask the way till they come to Sion, for that way shall they set their face; and they shall come and flee for refuge to the Lord their God; for the everlasting covenant shall not be forgotten. |

| И҆ нн҃ѣ а҆́зъ да́хъ всю̀ зе́млю сїю̀ въ рꙋ́цѣ навꙋходоно́сорꙋ царю̀ вавѷлѡ́нскꙋ, да є҆мꙋ̀ рабо́таютъ, и҆ ѕвѣ̑ри сє́лныѧ да́хъ дѣ́лати є҆мꙋ̀: | My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds thrust them out, they caused them to wander on the mountains: they went from mountain to hill, they forgot their resting-place. |

| и҆ послꙋ́жатъ є҆мꙋ̀ всѝ ꙗ҆зы́цы и҆ сы́нꙋ є҆гѡ̀ и҆ сы́нꙋ сы́на є҆гѡ̀, до́ндеже прїи́детъ вре́мѧ землѝ є҆гѡ̀ и҆ є҆гѡ̀ самогѡ̀, и҆ послꙋ́жатъ є҆мꙋ̀ мно́зи наро́ди и҆ ца́рїе вели́цы: | All that found them consumed them: their enemies said, Let us not leave them alone, because they have sinned against the Lord: he that gathered their fathers had a pasture of righteousness. |

| страна́ же и҆ ца́рство, є҆ли́цы а҆́ще не порабо́таютъ царю̀ вавѷлѡ́нскꙋ и҆ є҆ли́цы не вдѣ́жꙋтъ вы́и своеѧ̀ въ ꙗ҆ре́мъ царѧ̀ вавѷлѡ́нска, мече́мъ и҆ гла́домъ посѣщꙋ̀ и҆̀хъ, речѐ гдⷭ҇ь, до́ндеже сконча́ютсѧ въ рꙋцѣ̀ є҆гѡ̀. | Flee ye out of the midst of Babylon, and from the land of the Chaldeans, and go forth, and be as serpents before sleep. |

| Вы́ же не слꙋ́шайте лжепрорѡ́къ ва́шихъ и҆ волхвꙋ́ющихъ ва́мъ и҆ ви́дѧщихъ сѡ́нїѧ ва́мъ, ни чарова́нїй ва́шихъ, ни ѡ҆баѧ́телей ва́шихъ глаго́лющихъ: не послꙋ́жите царю̀ вавѷлѡ́нскомꙋ: | For, behold, I stir up against Babylon the gatherings of nations out of the land of the north; and they shall set themselves in array against her: thence shall she be taken, as the dart of an expert warrior shall not return empty. |

| ꙗ҆́кѡ лжꙋ̀ прорица́ютъ ті́и ва́мъ, є҆́же бы оу҆дали́тисѧ ва́мъ ѿ землѝ ва́шеѧ, и҆зве́ргнꙋти ва́съ и҆ є҆́же поги́бнꙋти ва́мъ. | And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied. |

| Страна́ же, ꙗ҆́же скло́нитъ вы́ю свою̀ под̾ ꙗ҆ре́мъ царѧ̀ вавѷлѡ́нска и҆ послꙋ́житъ є҆мꙋ̀, ѡ҆ста́влю ю҆̀ на землѝ свое́й, гл҃етъ гдⷭ҇ь: и҆ ѡ҆ра́ти бꙋ́детъ ю҆̀ и҆ всели́тсѧ на не́й. | Because ye rejoiced, and boasted, while plundering mine heritage; because ye exulted as calves in the grass, and pushed with the horn as bulls. |

| И҆ ко седекі́и царю̀ і҆ꙋ́динꙋ глаго́лахъ по всѣ̑мъ словесє́мъ си̑мъ, глаго́лѧ: склони́те вы̑и ва́шѧ под̾ и҆́го царѧ̀ вавѷлѡ́нска и҆ слꙋжи́те є҆мꙋ̀ и҆ лю́демъ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ жи́ви бꙋ́дете: | Your mother is greatly ashamed; your mother that bore you for prosperity is confounded: she is the last of the nations, desolate, |

| почто̀ оу҆мира́ете, ты̀ и҆ лю́дїе твоѝ, мече́мъ и҆ гла́домъ и҆ мо́ромъ, ꙗ҆́коже речѐ гдⷭ҇ь ко страна́мъ, не хотѣ́вшымъ слꙋжи́ти царю̀ вавѷлѡ́нскꙋ; | by reason of the Lord's anger: it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be all a desolation; and every one that passes through Babylon shall scowl, and they shall hiss at all her plague. |

| не послꙋ́шайте сло́въ проро́кѡвъ глаго́лющихъ ва́мъ: не послꙋ́жите царю̀ вавѷлѡ́нскꙋ: | Set yourselves in array against Babylon round about, all ye that bend the bow; shoot at her, spare not your arrows, |

| ꙗ҆́кѡ непра́веднѡ ті́и прорица́ютъ ва́мъ: ꙗ҆́кѡ не посла́хъ и҆́хъ, речѐ гдⷭ҇ь, ті́и же прорица́ютъ и҆́менемъ мои́мъ ѡ҆ непра́вдѣ, є҆́же бы погꙋби́ти ва́съ, и҆ поги́бнете вы̀ и҆ проро́цы ва́ши, прорица́ющїи ва́мъ ѡ҆ непра́вдѣ лѡ́жнаѧ. | and prevail against her: her hands are weakened, her bulwarks are fallen, and her wall is broken down: for it is vengeance from God: take vengeance upon her; as she has done, do to her. |

| Ва́мъ и҆ всѣ̑мъ лю́демъ си̑мъ и҆ жерцє́мъ глаго́лахъ, рекі́й: та́кѡ речѐ гдⷭ҇ь: не слꙋ́шайте слове́съ проро́ческихъ, прорица́ющихъ ва́мъ лжꙋ̀ и҆ глаго́лющихъ: сѐ, сосꙋ́ди до́мꙋ гдⷭ҇нѧ возвратѧ́тсѧ ѿ вавѷлѡ́на нн҃ѣ вско́рѣ: ꙗ҆́кѡ лжꙋ̀ прорица́ютъ ва́мъ, | Utterly destroy seed out of Babylon, and him that holds a sickle in time of harvest: for fear of the Grecian sword, they shall return every one to his people, and every one shall flee to his own land. |

| не послꙋ́шайте и҆́хъ, но слꙋжи́те царю̀ вавѷлѡ́нскомꙋ, да жи́ви бꙋ́дете. Вскꙋ́ю даетѐ гра́дъ се́й въ запꙋстѣ́нїе; | Israel is a wandering sheep; the lions have driven him out: the king of Assyria first devoured him, and afterward this king of Babylon has gnawed his bones. |

| А҆́ще сꙋ́ть проро́цы и҆ є҆́сть сло́во гдⷭ҇не въ ни́хъ, да предста́нꙋтъ гдⷭ҇ꙋ вседержи́телю, да не ѿи́дꙋтъ сосꙋ́ди, ѡ҆ста́вшїисѧ въ домꙋ̀ гдⷭ҇ни и҆ въ домꙋ̀ царѧ̀ і҆ꙋ́дина и҆ во і҆ерⷭ҇ли́мѣ, въ вавѷлѡ́нъ. | Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will take vengeance on the king of Babylon, and upon his land, as I took vengeance on the king of Assyria. |

| Та́кѡ бо гл҃етъ гдⷭ҇ь вседержи́тель ѡ҆ столпѣ́хъ и҆ ѡ҆ оу҆мыва́лницѣ, и҆ ѡ҆ подста́вахъ и҆ ѡ҆ про́чихъ сосꙋ́дѣхъ ѡ҆ста́вшихсѧ во гра́дѣ се́мъ, | And I will restore Israel to his pasture, and he shall feed on Carmel and on mount Ephraim and in Galaad, and his soul shall be satisfied. |

| и҆́хже не взѧ̀ навꙋходоно́соръ ца́рь вавѷлѡ́нскїй, є҆гда̀ преселѝ і҆ехоні́ю сы́на і҆ѡакі́мова, царѧ̀ і҆ꙋ́дина, и҆з̾ і҆ерⷭ҇ли́ма въ вавѷлѡ́нъ, и҆ всѧ̑ старѣ̑йшины і҆ꙋ̑дины и҆ і҆ерⷭ҇ли̑мли. | In those days, and at that time, they shall seek for the iniquity of Israel, and there shall be none; and for the sins of Juda, and they shall not be found: for I will be merciful to them that are left |

| Та́кѡ бо гл҃етъ гдⷭ҇ь вседержи́тель бг҃ъ і҆и҃левъ ѡ҆ сосꙋ́дѣхъ ѡ҆ста́вшихсѧ въ домꙋ̀ гдⷭ҇ни и҆ въ домꙋ̀ царѧ̀ і҆ꙋ́дина и҆ во і҆ерⷭ҇ли́мѣ: | on the land, saith the Lord. Go up against it roughly, and against them that dwell on it: avenge, O sword, and destroy utterly, saith the Lord, and do according to all that I command thee. |

| въ вавѷлѡ́нъ принесꙋ́тсѧ и҆ та́мѡ бꙋ́дꙋтъ да́же до днѐ посѣще́нїѧ своегѡ̀, гл҃етъ гдⷭ҇ь: и҆ повелю̀ принестѝ ѧ҆̀ и҆ возврати́ти на мѣ́сто сїѐ. | A sound of war, and great destruction in the land of the Chaldeans! |
