Chapter 6	Глава́ ѕ҃

And it came to pass in the four hundred and fortieth year after the departure of the children of Israel out of Egypt, in the fourth year and second month of the reign of king Solomon over Israel,	И҆ бы́сть въ четыредесѧ́тное и҆ въ четвертосо́тное лѣ́то и҆схо́да сынѡ́въ і҆и҃левыхъ и҆з̾ є҆гѵ́пта, въ лѣ́то четве́ртое, въ мцⷭ҇ъ вторы́й, ца́рствꙋющꙋ царю̀ соломѡ́нꙋ над̾ і҆и҃лемъ, и҆ созда̀ хра́мъ гдⷭ҇еви.

that the king commanded that they should take great and costly stones for the foundation of the house, and hewn stones.

And the men of Solomon, and the men of Chiram hewed the stones, and laid them for a foundation.
1c
In the fourth year he laid the foundation of the house of the Lord, in the month Ziu, even in the second month.

In the eleventh year, in the month Baal, this is the eighth month, the house was completed according to all its plan, and according to all its arrangement.

And the house which the king built to the Lord was forty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and its height five and twenty cubits.	И҆ хра́мъ, є҆го́же созда̀ соломѡ́нъ ца́рь гдⷭ҇еви, (бѧ́ше) шестьдесѧ́тъ лакѡ́тъ долгота̀ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ два́десѧти лакѡ́тъ широта̀ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ три́десѧти лакѡ́тъ высота̀ є҆гѡ̀:

And the porch in front of the temple—twenty cubits was its length according to the breadth of the house in front of the house: and he built the house, and finished it.	и҆ притво́ръ, и҆́же пред̾ лице́мъ хра́ма, два́десѧти лакѡ́тъ долгота̀ є҆гѡ̀ въ широтꙋ̀ до́мꙋ, и҆ десѧтѝ лакѡ́тъ широта̀ є҆гѡ̀ пред̾ лице́мъ до́мꙋ: и҆ созда̀ хра́мъ, и҆ совершѝ є҆го̀.

And he made to the house secret windows inclining inward.	И҆ сотворѝ хра́мꙋ ѻ҆́кна преклонє́ны сокровє́ны.

And against the wall of the house he set chambers round about the temple and the ark.	И҆ созда̀ на стѣнѣ̀ до́мꙋ притво́ры ѡ҆́колѡ хра́ма и҆ даві́ра.

The under side was five cubits broad, and the middle part six, and the third was seven cubits broad; for he formed an interval to the house round about without the house, that they might not touch the walls of the house.	И҆ сотворѝ бока̀ ѡ҆́колѡ, бо́къ и҆́же съ ни́зꙋ, пѧтѝ лакѡ́тъ широта̀ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ сре́днїй шестѝ лакѡ́тъ широта̀, и҆ тре́тїй седмѝ лакѡ́тъ широта̀ є҆гѡ̀: поне́же разстоѧ́нїе до́мꙋ сотворѝ ѡ҆́крестъ внѣꙋ́дꙋ хра́ма, ꙗ҆́кѡ да не досѧза́ютъ стѣ́нъ хра́ма.

And the house was built in the construction of it with rough hewn stones: and there was not heard in the house in the building of it hammer or axe, or any iron tool.	И҆ хра́мꙋ зи́ждемꙋ сꙋ́щꙋ, ка́менїемъ краесѣко́мымъ нете́санымъ созда́сѧ: мла́тъ же, и҆ тесли́ца, и҆ всѧ́кое ѻ҆рꙋ́дїе желѣ́зно не слы́шасѧ въ хра́мѣ, є҆гда̀ созида́тисѧ є҆мꙋ̀.

And the porch of the under side was below the right wing of the house, and there was a winding ascent into the middle chamber, and from the middle to the third story.	И҆ двє́ри бо́ка ни́жнѧгѡ под̾ стѣно́ю хра́ма десно́ю, и҆ и҆звїе́нный восхо́дъ до среди́ны, а҆ ѿ среди́ны до трекро́вныхъ.

So he built the house and finished it; and he made the ceiling of the house with cedars.	И҆ созда̀ хра́мъ, и҆ совершѝ є҆го̀: и҆ ѡ҆бста́ви хра́мъ дска́ми ке́дровыми.

And he made the partitions through all the house, each five cubits high, and enclosed each partition with cedar boards.	И҆ сотворѝ вѧза̑нїѧ ѡ҆́крестъ всегѡ̀ хра́ма, пѧ́ть лакѡ́тъ въ высотꙋ̀ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ свѧза̀ вѧза́нїе дре́вомъ ке́дровымъ.

And he framed the walls of the house within with cedar boards, from the floor of the house and on to the inner walls and to the beams: he lined the parts enclosed with boards within, and compassed the inward parts of the house with planks of fir.	И҆ созда̀ стѣ́ны хра́мꙋ внꙋ́трь дре́вомъ ке́дровымъ, ѿ землѝ хра́ма и҆ да́же до стѣ́нъ и҆ да́же до верха̀: ѡ҆́колѡ ѡ҆бста́ви содержа̑щаѧ древа́ми внꙋтрьꙋ́дꙋ и҆ оу҆крѣпѝ внꙋ́трь хра́ма бока́ми пе́ѵговыми.

And he built the twenty cubits from the top of the wall, one side from the floor to the beams, and he made it from the oracle to the most holy place.	И҆ созда̀ два́десѧти лакѡ́тъ ѿ кра́ѧ стѣны̀ бо́къ є҆ди́нъ ѿ землѝ да́же до верха̀: и҆ сотворѝ є҆мꙋ̀ внꙋ́трь ѿ даві́ра стѣ́нꙋ до ст҃а̑ѧ ст҃ы́хъ.

And the temple was forty cubits in extent,	И҆ четы́редесѧти лакѡ́тъ бѧ́ше хра́мъ: се́й (є҆́сть) хра́мъ внꙋ́треннѣйшїй.

in front of the oracle in the midst of the house within, in order to put there the ark of the covenant of the Lord.	Пред̾ лице́мъ даві́ра, посредѣ̀ хра́ма внꙋ́трь оу҆гото́ва поста́вити та́мѡ кївѡ́тъ завѣ́та гдⷭ҇нѧ.

The length was twenty cubits, and the breadth was twenty cubits, and the height of it was twenty cubits. And he covered it with perfect gold, and he made an altar	И҆ пред̾ лице́мъ даві́ра два́десѧти лакѡ́тъ долгота̀, и҆ два́десѧти лакѡ́тъ широта̀, и҆ два́десѧти лакѡ́тъ высота̀ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ ѡ҆б̾ѧ́тъ є҆го̀ зла́томъ чи́стымъ: и҆ сотворѝ ѻ҆лта́рь ке́дровый: и҆ повлечѐ соломѡ́нъ хра́мъ внꙋ́трь зла́томъ чи́стымъ, и҆ пригвоздѝ гвоздмѝ златы́ми пред̾ лице́мъ даві́ра, и҆ ѡ҆б̾ѧ́тъ и҆̀ зла́томъ.

in front of the oracle, and covered it with gold.	И҆ ве́сь хра́мъ ѡ҆б̾ѧ́тъ зла́томъ до сконча́нїѧ всегѡ̀ хра́ма.

And he covered the whole house with gold, till he had finished gilding the whole house.	И҆ всѐ внꙋ́трь даві́ра покры̀ зла́томъ.

And he made in the oracle two cherubs of ten cubits measured size.	И҆ сотворѝ въ даві́рѣ два̀ херꙋві̑ма ѿ дре́въ кѷпарі́сныхъ, де́сѧть лакѡ́тъ мѣ́рою вели́чество:
24	24
And the wing of one cherub was five cubits, and his other wing was five cubits; ten cubits from the tip of one wing to the tip of the other wing.	и҆ пѧтѝ лакѡ́тъ крило̀ херꙋві́ма є҆ди́нагѡ, и҆ пѧтѝ лакѡ́тъ крило̀ є҆гѡ̀ второ́е, десѧтѝ лакѡ́тъ ѿ кра́ѧ крила̀ є҆гѡ̀ до кра́ѧ крила̀ є҆гѡ̀:

Thus it was with the other cherub, both were alike finished with one measure.	и҆ десѧтѝ лакѡ́тъ та́кожде (мѣ́ра) херꙋві́мꙋ второ́мꙋ, мѣ́ра є҆ди́на соверше́нїе є҆ди́но ѻ҆бои́мъ херꙋві́мѡмъ:

And the height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it with the second cherub.	и҆ высота̀ херꙋві́ма є҆ди́нагѡ де́сѧть лакѡ́тъ, та́кожде и҆ второ́мꙋ херꙋві́мꙋ.

And both the cherubs were in the midst of the innermost part of the house; and they spread out their wings, and one wing touched the wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings in the midst of the house touched each other.	И҆ поста́ви ѻ҆́ба херꙋві̑ма посредѣ̀ хра́ма внꙋ́треннѧгѡ: и҆ простира́хꙋ кри́ла своѧ̑, и҆ досѧза́ше крило̀ є҆ди́но до стѣны̀ хра́ма, и҆ крило̀ дрꙋга́гѡ херꙋві́ма досѧза́ше до стѣны̀ вторы́ѧ: и҆ кри́ла и҆́хъ ꙗ҆̀же бѧ́хꙋ посредѣ̀ хра́ма, каса́шесѧ крило̀ съ крило́мъ:

And he covered the cherubs with gold.	и҆ ѡ҆б̾ѧ̑ты бы́ша херꙋві́мы зла́томъ.

He graved all the walls of the house round about with the graving of cherubs, and he sculptured palm trees within and without the house.	И҆ на всѣ́хъ стѣна́хъ хра́ма ѡ҆́колѡ ваѧ̑нїѧ написа̀ подо́бїемъ херꙋві́мѡвъ, и҆ фі́нїки, и҆ и҆зва̑ѧнна произница̑ющаѧ внꙋтрьꙋ́дꙋ и҆ внѣꙋ́дꙋ.

And he covered the floor of the house within and without with gold.	И҆ помо́стъ хра́ма и҆з̾ внꙋтрьꙋ́дꙋ и҆ внѣꙋ́дꙋ ѡ҆б̾ѧ́тъ зла́томъ.

And for the door-way of the oracle he made doors of juniper wood, there were porches in a four-fold way.	И҆ вхо́дꙋ даві́ра сотворѝ двє́ри ѿ дре́въ сме́рчїихъ, и҆ пра́ги пѧтери̑чны,

In both the doors were planks of fir; the one door had two leaves and their hinges, and the other door had two leaves and turned on hinges,	И҆ на ѻ҆бои́хъ дверѧ́хъ древа̀ пе́ѵгѡва: два̀ затвѡ́ра две́рь є҆ди́на и҆ верєѝ и҆́хъ, и҆ два̀ затвѡ́ра две́рь втора́ѧ враща́ющаѧсѧ въ себѣ̀,

being carved with cherubs, and there were palm-trees and open flower-leaves, and it was overlaid with gold gilt upon the engraving.	(на ни́хже сотворѝ) и҆зва̑ѧнныѧ херꙋві́мы и҆ фі́нїки, и҆ дщи̑цы простє́ртыѧ, и҆ ѡ҆б̾ѧ̑тыѧ зла́томъ свѣ́шенымъ на и҆з̾ѡбраже́нїе.

And he built the inner court, three rows of hewn stones, and a row of wrought cedar round about,	И҆ созда̀ дво́ръ внꙋ́треннїй: въ трѝ рѧда̀ нете́саныхъ, и҆ рѧ́дъ те́санагѡ ке́дра ѡ҆́колѡ.

and he made the curtain of the court of the porch of the house that was in front of the temple.
