Beloved, I pray that in all things thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

For I rejoiced greatly, when brethren came and bare witness unto thy truth, even as thou walkest in truth.
|
Возрaдовахсz ѕэлw2, пришeдшымъ брaтіzмъ и3 свидётелствующымъ твою2 и4стину, ћкоже ты2 во и4стинэ х0диши.

Greater joy have I none than this, to hear of my children walking in truth.
|
Б0лши сеS не и4мамъ рaдости, да слhшу мо‰ ч†да во и4стинэ ход‰ща.

Beloved, thou doest a faithful work in whatsoever thou doest toward the brethren and toward strangers;

Возлю1бленне, вёрнw твори1ши, є4же ѓще дёлаеши въ брaтію и3 въ стр†нныz,

|
who bare witness to thy love before the church: whom thou wilt do well to set forward on their journey worthily of God:
|
и5же свидётелствоваша њ твоeй любви2 пред8 цRковію: и5хже предпослaвъ дост0йнw бGу, д0брэ твори1ши,

|
because that for the sake of the Name they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.
|
њ и4мени бо є3гw2 и3зыд0ша, ничт0же пріeмлюще t kзы6къ.

|
We therefore ought to receive such, that we may be fellow workers for the truth.
|
Мы2 u5бо д0лжни є3смы2 пріимaти таковhхъ, да поспBшницы бyдемъ и4стинэ.

|
I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
|
Писaхъ цRкви: но первенстволю1бецъ и4хъ діотрeфъ не пріeмлетъ нaсъ.

Therefore, if I come, I will bring to remembrance his works which he doeth, prating against us with wicked words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and them that would he forbiddeth and casteth them out of the church.

Сегw2 рaди, ѓще пріидY, воспомzнY є3гw2 дэлA, ћже твори1тъ, словєсы2 лукaвыми ўкорsz нaсъ: и3 недов0ленъ бывaz њ си1хъ, ни сaмъ пріeмлетъ брaтію, и3 хотsщымъ возбранsетъ, и3 t цRкве и3зг0нитъ.

Beloved, imitate not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

Возлю1бленне, не ўподоблsйсz ѕл0му, но бlг0му. Благотворsй t бGа є4сть: ґ ѕлотворsй не ви1дэ бGа.

Demetrius hath the witness of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, we also bear witness; and ye know that our witness is true.

Дими1тріеви свидётелствовасz t всёхъ и3 t сaмыz и4стины: и3 мh же свидётелствуемъ, и3 вёсте, ћкw свидётелство нaше и4стинно є4сть.

I had many things to write, but I am unwilling to write them to thee with ink and pen:
