And Baruch did read the words of this book in the hearing of Jechonias the son of Joachim king of Juda, and in the ears of all the people that came to hear the book, И# прочтE варyхъ словесA кни1ги сеS во ќшы їехонjи сhна їwакjма царS їyдина и3 во ќшы всёхъ людjй приходsщихъ ко кни1зэ,

Whereupon they wept, fasted, and prayed before the Lord.

They made also a collection of money according to every man's power: и3 собрaша сребро2, ћкоже когHждо можaше рукA,

and they sent it to Jerusalem unto Joachim the high priest, the son of Chelcias, son of Salom, and to the priests, and to all the people which were found with him at Jerusalem, и3 послaша во їеrли1мъ ко їwакjму жерцY вели1кому, сhну хелкjину сhна салHмлz и3 ко жерцє1мъ и3 ко всBмъ лю1демъ, и5же њбрэт0шасz съ ни1мъ во їеrли1мэ,

at the same time when he received the vessels of the house of the Lord, that were carried out of the temple, to return them into the land of Juda, the tenth day of the month Sivan, namely, silver vessels, which Sedecias the son of Josias king of Juda had made, внегдA взS сосyды хрaма гDнz и3знесє1ныz t хрaма возврати1ти на зeмлю їyдину, въ десsтый дeнь мцcа сивaнъ, сосyды срє1брzны, ±же сотвори2 седекjа сhнъ їwсjинъ цaрь їyдинъ,

after that Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon had carried away Jechonias, and the princes, and the captives, and the mighty men, and the people of the land, from Jerusalem, and brought them unto Babylon.
10
10
And they said, Behold, we have sent you money to buy you burnt offerings, and sin offerings, and incense, and prepare ye manna, and offer upon the altar of the Lord our God; И# рек0ша: сE, послaхомъ къ вaмъ сребро2, да кyпите на сребрЁ всесожжє1ніz за грёхъ и3 fmміaмъ, и3 сотвори1те жeртву и3 вознеси1те на жeртвенникъ гDа бGа нaшегw,

11
and pray for the life of Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, and for the life of Balthasar his son, that their days may be upon earth as the days of heaven: и3 моли1тесz за житіE навуходон0сора царS вавmлHнскагw и3 за житіE валтасaра сhна є3гw2, да бyдутъ днjе и4хъ, ћкоже днjе небeсніи, на земли2.
12
12
and the Lord will give us strength, and lighten our eyes, and we shall live under the shadow of Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, and under the shadow of Balthasar his son, and we shall serve them many days, and find favour in their sight. И# да дaстъ гDь крёпость нaмъ и3 да просвэти1тъ џчи нaши, и3 да живeмъ под8 сёнію навуходон0сора царS вавmлHнска и3 под8 сёнію валтасaра сhна є3гw2, да раб0таемъ и5мъ дни6 мнHги и3 њбрsщемъ благодaть пред8 ни1ми.
13
13
Pray for us also unto the Lord our God, for we have sinned against the Lord our God; and unto this day the fury of the Lord and his wrath is not turned from us. И# моли1тесz за нaсъ ко гDеви бGу нaшему, ћкw согрэши1хомъ гDеви бGу нaшему, и3 не tврати1сz ћрость гDнz и3 гнёвъ є3гw2 t нaсъ до сегw2 днE.
14
14
And ye shall read this book which we have sent unto you, to make confession in the house of the Lord, upon the feasts and solemn days.
15
15
And ye shall say, To the Lord our God belongeth righteousness, but unto us the confusion of faces, as it is come to pass this day, unto them of Juda, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, и3 да речeте: гDу бGу нaшему прaвда, ґ нaмъ стыдёніе ли1цъ, ћкоже дeнь сeй, человёку їyдину и3 живyщымъ во їеrли1мэ,
16
16
and to our kings, and to our princes, and to our priests, and to our prophets, and to our fathers: и3 царє1мъ нaшымъ и3 кнzзє1мъ нaшымъ, и3 жерцє1мъ нaшымъ и3 прор0кwмъ нaшымъ и3 nтцє1мъ нaшымъ:
17
17
for we have sinned before the Lord,
18
18
and disobeyed him, and have not hearkened unto the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in the commandments that he gave us openly: и3 не покори1хомсz є3мY и3 не послyшахомъ глaса гDа бGа нaшегw ходи1ти въ повелёніихъ є3гw2, ±же дадE пред8 лицeмъ нaшимъ.
19
19
since the day that the Lord brought our forefathers out of the land of Egypt, unto this present day, we have been disobedient unto the Lord our God, and we have been negligent in not hearing his voice. T днE, въ џньже и3зведE гDь nтцы2 нaшz t земли2 є3гЂпетски, и3 до сегw2 днE бёхомъ не покарsющесz гDеви бGу нaшему и3 tметaхомсz, є4же не послyшати глaса є3гw2.
20
20
Wherefore the evils cleaved unto us, and the curse, which the Lord appointed by Moses his servant at the time that he brought our fathers out of the land of Egypt, to give us a land that floweth with milk and honey, like as it is to see this day. И# прильпE къ нaмъ ѕло2 и3 клsтва, ю4же сочини2 гDь мwmсeю џтроку своемY въ дeнь, въ џньже и3зведE гDь nтцы2 нaшz t земли2 є3гЂпетскіz, дaти нaмъ зeмлю кипsщую млек0мъ и3 мeдомъ, ћкоже дeнь сeй.
21
21
Nevertheless we have not hearkened unto the voice of the Lord our God, according unto all the words of the prophets, whom he sent unto us: И# не послyшахомъ глaса гDа бGа нaшегw по всBмъ словесє1мъ прbр0чєскимъ, ±же послA къ нaмъ,
22
22
but every man followed the imagination of his own wicked heart, to serve strange gods, and to do evil in the sight of the Lord our God. и3 хождaхомъ кjйждо нaсъ по рaзуму сeрдца своегw2 ѕлaгw раб0тати богHмъ и3нBмъ, твори1ти ѕл†z пред8 nчи1ма гDа бGа нaшегw.
Chapter 2
Главa в7
1
1
Therefore the Lord hath made good his word, which he pronounced against us, and against our judges that judged Israel, and against our kings, and against our princes, and against the men of Israel and Juda, И# ўстaви гDь сл0во своE, є4же гlа на нaсъ и3 на судjй нaшихъ, суди1вшихъ во ї}ли, и3 на цари6 нaшz и3 на кн‰зи нaшz, и3 на всsкаго человёка ї}лева и3 їyдина,
2
2
to bring upon us great plagues, such as never happened under the whole heaven, as it came to pass in Jerusalem, according to the things that were written in the law of Moses;
3
3
that a man should eat the flesh of his own son, and the flesh of his own daughter.
4
4
Moreover he hath delivered them to be in subjection to all the kingdoms that are round about us, to be as a reproach and desolation among all the people round about, where the Lord hath scattered them.
5
5
Thus we were cast down, and not exalted, because we have sinned against the Lord our God, and have not been obedient unto his voice.
6
6
To the Lord our God appertaineth righteousness: but unto us and to our fathers open shame, as appeareth this day. ГDеви бGу нaшему прaвда, нaмъ же и3 nтцє1мъ нaшымъ стыдёніе ли1цъ, ћкоже дeнь сeй.
7
7
For all these plagues are come upon us, which the Lord hath pronounced against us.
8
8
Yet have we not prayed before the Lord, that we might turn every one from the imaginations of his wicked heart.
9
9
Wherefore the Lord watched over us for evil, and the Lord hath brought it upon us: for the Lord is righteous in all his works which he hath commanded us.
10
10
Yet we have not hearkened unto his voice, to walk in the commandments of the Lord, that he hath set before us.
11
11
And now, O Lord God of Israel, that hast brought thy people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and high arm, and with signs, and with wonders, and with great power, and hast gotten thyself a name, as appeareth this day: И# нн7э, гDи б9е ї}левъ, и4же и3звeлъ є3си2 лю1ди тво‰ и3з8 земли2 є3гЂпетскіz рук0ю крёпкою и3 мhшцею выс0кою, знaмєніи и3 чудесы2 и3 си1лою вели1кою, и3 сотвори1лъ є3си2 себЁ и4мz, ћкоже дeнь сeй,
12
12
O Lord our God, we have sinned, we have done ungodly, we have dealt unrighteously in all thine ordinances. согрэши1хомъ, нечeствовахомъ, непрaвдовахомъ, гDи б9е нaшъ, во всёхъ њправдaніихъ твои1хъ.
13
13
Let thy wrath turn from us: for we are but a few left among the heathen, where thou hast scattered us. Да tврати1тсz u5бо t нaсъ ћрость твоS, ћкw њстaсz нaсъ мaлw во kзhцэхъ, ѓможе разсёzлъ ны2 є3си2.
14
14
Hear our prayers, O Lord, and our petitions, and deliver us for thine own sake, and give us favour in the sight of them which have led us away: Ўслhши, гDи, моли1тву нaшу и3 прошeніе нaше, и3 и3збaви нaсъ тебє2 рaди, и3 дaждь нaмъ благодaть пред8 лицeмъ пресели1вшихъ нaсъ:
15
15
that all the earth may know that thou art the Lord our God, because Israel and his posterity is called by thy name.
16
16
O Lord, look down from thine holy house, and consider us: bow down thine ear, O Lord, to hear us. ГDи, при1зри и3з8 д0му с™aгw твоегw2 на нaсъ и3 вонми2 нaмъ, и3 приклони2 ќхо твоE и3 ўслhши нaсъ.
17
17
Open thine eyes, and behold; for the dead that are in the graves, whose souls are taken from their bodies, will give unto the Lord neither praise nor righteousness: Tвeрзи, гDи, џчи твои2 и3 ви1ждь, ћкw не ўмeршіи, и5же во ѓдэ, и4хже взsсz дyхъ и4хъ t ўтр0бъ и4хъ, воздадsтъ тебЁ слaву и3 њправдaніе гDеви:
18
18
but the soul that is greatly vexed, which goeth stooping and feeble, and the eyes that fail, and the hungry soul, will give thee praise and righteousness, O Lord. но душA сётующаz њ вели1чествэ ѕлA, и4же х0дитъ слsченъ и3 болsй, и3 џчи њскудэвaющіи, и3 душA ѓлчущаz воздадsтъ тебЁ слaву и3 прaвду, гDи!
19
19
Therefore we do not make our humble supplication before thee, O Lord our God, for the righteousness of our fathers, and of our kings, Ћкw не по њправдaніємъ nтє1цъ нaшихъ, ни царeй нaшихъ (и3зливaемъ мwли1твы) мы2, и3 предлагaемъ мwли1твы нaшz пред8 лицeмъ твои1мъ, гDи б9е нaшъ!
20
20
for thou hast sent out thy wrath and indignation upon us, as thou hast spoken by thy servants the prophets, saying, Ћкw послaлъ є3си2 ћрость твою2 и3 гнёвъ тв0й на нaсъ, ћкоже гlалъ є3си2 рук0ю џтрwкъ твои1хъ прbрHкъ, гlz:
21
21
Thus saith the Lord, Bow down your shoulders to serve the king of Babylon: so shall ye remain in the land that I gave unto your fathers. тaкw речE гDь: приклони1те рaмена в†ша и3 послужи1те царю2 вавmлHнскому, и3 сэди1те на земли2, ю4же дaхъ nтцє1мъ вaшымъ:
22
22
But if ye will not hear the voice of the Lord, to serve the king of Babylon, и3 ѓще не послyшаете глaса гDнz, є4же раб0тати царю2 вавmлHнску, њскудёніе сотворю2 и3з8 градHвъ їyдиныхъ и3 внэyду їеrли1ма,
23
23
I will cause to cease out of the cities of Juda, and from without Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of joy, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: and the whole land shall be desolate of inhabitants. и3 tимY (t вaсъ) глaсъ весeліz и3 глaсъ рaдованіz, глaсъ женихA и3 глaсъ невёсты, и3 бyдетъ всS землS въ непрохождeніе t живyщихъ.
24
24
But we would not hearken unto thy voice, to serve the king of Babylon: therefore hast thou made good the words that thou spakest by thy servants the prophets, namely, that the bones of our kings, and the bones of our fathers, should be taken out of their places. И# не послyшахомъ глaса твоегw2 служи1ти царю2 вавmлHнску: и3 ўстaвилъ є3си2 словесA тво‰, ±же гlалъ є3си2 рук0ю џтрwкъ твои1хъ прbр0кwвъ, є4же и3знести2 кHсти царeй нaшихъ и3 кHсти nтє1цъ нaшихъ t мёста и4хъ.
25
25
And lo, they are cast out to the heat of the day, and to the frost of the night, and they died in great miseries by famine, by sword, and by pestilence.
26
26
And the house which is called by thy name hast thou laid waste, as it is to be seen this day, for the wickedness of the house of Israel and the house of Juda.
27
27
O Lord our God, thou hast dealt with us after all thy goodness, and according to all that great mercy of thine, И# сотвори1лъ є3си2 въ нaсъ, гDи б9е нaшъ, по всeй ти1хости твоeй и3 по всBмъ щедр0тамъ твои6мъ вели6кимъ,
28
28
as thou spakest by thy servant Moses in the day when thou didst command him to write thy law before the children of Israel, saying, ћкоже гlалъ є3си2 рук0ю рабA твоегw2 мwmсeа въ дeнь, въ џньже заповёдалъ є3си2 є3мY вписaти зак0нъ тв0й пред8 сы6ны ї}левыми, гlz:
29
29
If ye will not hear my voice, surely this very great multitude shall be turned into a small number among the nations, where I will scatter them.
30
30
For I knew that they would not hear me, because it is a stiffnecked people: but in the land of their captivities they shall remember themselves,
31
31
and shall know that I am the Lord their God: for I will give them an heart, and ears to hear: и3 ўвёдzтъ, ћкw ѓзъ гDь бGъ и4хъ: и3 дaмъ и5мъ сeрдце, (и3 ўразумёютъ,) и3 ќшы, и3 ўслhшатъ,
32
32
and they shall praise me in the land of their captivity, and think upon my name, и3 похвaлzтъ мS на земли2 преселeніz своегw2, и3 помzнyтъ и4мz моE,
33
33
and return from their stiff neck, and from their wicked deeds: for they shall remember the way of their fathers, which sinned before the Lord.
34
34
And I will bring them again into the land which I promised with an oath unto their fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and they shall be lords of it: and I will increase them, and they shall not be diminished. и3 возвращY | на зeмлю, є4юже клsхсz nтцє1мъ и4хъ, ґвраaму и3 їсаaку и3 їaкwву, и3 воз8wбладaютъ є4ю: и3 ўмн0жу |, и3 не ўмaлzтсz:
35
35
And I will make an everlasting covenant with them to be their God, and they shall be my people: and I will no more drive my people of Israel out of the land that I have given them.

O Lord Almighty, God of Israel, the soul in anguish, the troubled spirit, crieth unto thee.
2
2
Hear, O Lord, and have mercy; for thou art merciful: and have pity upon us, because we have sinned before thee.
3
3
For thou endurest for ever, and we perish utterly.
4
4
O Lord Almighty, thou God of Israel, hear now the prayers of the dead Israelites, and of their children, which have sinned before thee, and not hearkened unto the voice of thee their God: for the which cause these plagues cleave unto us.
5
5
Remember not the iniquities of our forefathers: but think upon thy power and thy name now at this time.
6
6
For thou art the Lord our God, and thee, O Lord, will we praise. ћкw ты2 гDь бGъ нaшъ, и3 похвaлимъ тS, гDи:
7
7
And for this cause thou hast put thy fear in our hearts, to the intent that we should call upon thy name, and praise thee in our captivity: for we have called to mind all the iniquity of our forefathers, that sinned before thee. ћкw тогw2 рaди дaлъ є3си2 стрaхъ тв0й въ сeрдце нaше, є4же призывaти и4мz твоE, и3 похвaлимъ тS во преселeніи нaшемъ, ћкw tврати1хомъ t сeрдца нaшегw всю2 непрaвду nтє1цъ нaшихъ согрэши1вшихъ пред8 тоб0ю.
8
8
Behold, we are yet this day in our captivity, where thou hast scattered us, for a reproach and a curse, and to be subject to payments, according to all the iniquities of our fathers, which departed from the Lord our God. СE, мы2 днeсь во преселeніи нaшемъ, ѓможе ны2 разсhпалъ є3си2 на ўкори1зну и3 на клsтву и3 на ўдержaніе, по всBмъ непрaвдамъ nтє1цъ нaшихъ, и5же tступи1ша t тебє2, гDи б9е нaшъ.
9
9
Hear, Israel, the commandments of life: give ear to understand wisdom. Слhши, ї}лю, зaпwвэди животA, внуши2 разумёти смышлeніе.
10
10
How happeneth it, Israel, that thou art in thine enemies' land, that thou art waxen old in a strange country, that thou art defiled with the dead, Что2 є4сть, ї}лю; что2 ћкw є3си2 на земли2 врaжіи; њбетшaлъ є3си2 на земли2 чуждeй, њскверни1лсz є3си2 съ мeртвыми,
11
11
that thou art counted with them that go down into the grave?
12
12
Thou hast forsaken the fountain of wisdom.

For if thou hadst walked in the way of God, thou shouldest have dwelled in peace for ever.

This is the book of the commandments of God, and the law that endureth for ever: all they that keep it shall come to life; but such as leave it shall die.

Turn thee, O Jacob, and take hold of it: walk in the presence of the light thereof, that thou mayest be illuminated.
3
3
Give not thine honour to another, nor the things that are profitable unto thee to a strange nation. Не дaждь и3н0му слaвы твоеS, и3 полeзныхъ тебЁ kзhку чуждeму.
4
4
O Israel, happy are we: for things that are pleasing to God are made known unto us.
5
5
Be of good cheer, my people, the memorial of Israel.
6
6
Ye were sold to the nations, not for your destruction: but because ye moved God to wrath, ye were delivered unto the enemies.
7
7
For ye provoked him that made you by sacrificing unto devils and not to God.
8
8
Ye have forgotten the everlasting God, that brought you up; and ye have grieved Jerusalem, that nursed you. забhсте бо гDа питaющаго вaсъ, њпечaлисте же и3 воспитaвшаго вaсъ їеrли1ма.
9
9
For when she saw the wrath of God coming upon you, she said, Hearken, O ye that dwell about Sion: God hath brought upon me great mourning; Ви1дэ бо нашeдшій вaмъ гнёвъ t бGа и3 речE: слhшите, присє1лницы сіw6ни, наведe бо ми2 гDь сётованіе вели1ко,
10
10
for I saw the captivity of my sons and daughters, which the Everlasting brought upon them.
11
11
With joy did I nourish them; but sent them away with weeping and mourning.
12
12
Let no man rejoice over me, a widow, and forsaken of many, who for the sins of my children am left desolate; because they departed from the law of God.
13
13
They knew not his statutes, nor walked in the ways of his commandments, nor trod in the paths of discipline in his righteousness. и3 њправдaній є3гw2 не познaша, и3 не ходи1ша въ путeхъ зaповэдій б9іихъ, нижE стезьми2 наказaніz въ прaвдэ є3гw2 ступaша.
14
14
Let them that dwell about Sion come, and remember ye the captivity of my sons and daughters, which the Everlasting hath brought upon them.
15
15
For he hath brought a nation upon them from far, a shameless nation, and of a strange language, who neither reverenced old man, nor pitied child,
16
16
and they have carried away the dear beloved children of the widow, and left her that was alone desolate without daughters.
17
17
But what can I help you? Ѓзъ же кaкw м0щенъ помощи2 вaмъ;
18
18
For he that brought these plagues upon you will deliver you from the hands of your enemies. Наведhй бо вaмъ ѕл†z и3збaвитъ вaсъ t руки2 вр†гъ вaшихъ.
19
19
Go your way, O my children, go your way: for I am left desolate.
20
20
I have put off the clothing of peace, and put upon me the sackcloth of my prayer: I will cry unto the Everlasting in my days.
21
21
Be of good cheer, O my children, cry unto the Lord, and he shall deliver you from the power and hand of the enemies. Дерзaйте, ч†да, возопjйте къ бGу, и3 и3збaвитъ вaсъ t наси1ліz руки2 врaжіz.
22
22
For my hope is in the Everlasting, that he will save you: and joy is come unto me from the Holy One, because of the mercy which shall soon come unto you from the Everlasting your Saviour. Ѓзъ бо (и3спeрва) надёzхсz на вёчнаго њ спасeніи вaшемъ: и3 пріи1де ми2 рaдость t с™aгw въ поми1лованіи, є4же пріи1детъ вaмъ вск0рэ t вёчнагw сп7са нaшегw.
23
23
For I sent you out with mourning and weeping: but God will give you to me again with joy and gladness for ever. И#спусти1хъ бо вaсъ съ рыдaніемъ и3 плaчемъ, tдaстъ же ми2 бGъ вaсъ съ рaдостію и3 весeліемъ въ вёкъ.
24
24
Like as now the neighbours of Sion have seen your captivity: so shall they see shortly your salvation from your God, which shall come upon you with great glory, and brightness of the Everlasting. Ћкоже бо нн7э ви1дэша присє1лницы сіw6ни вaше плэнeніе (t бGа), тaкожде ќзрzтъ вск0рэ сп7сeніе вaше t бGа, є4же пріи1детъ вaмъ со слaвою вели1кою и3 со њсвэщeніемъ вёчнагw.
25
25
My children, suffer patiently the wrath that is come upon you from God: for thine enemy hath persecuted thee; but shortly thou shalt see his destruction, and shalt tread upon his neck. Ч†да, долготерпи1те и4же t бGа нашeдшій вaмъ гнёвъ, гони1лъ бо тS врaгъ тв0й, и3 ќзриши пaгубу є3гw2 вск0рэ и3 на вhю є3гw2 настyпиши.
26
26
My delicate ones have gone rough ways, and were taken away as a flock caught of the enemies.
27
27
Be of good comfort, O my children, and cry unto God: for ye shall be remembered of him that brought these things upon you. Дерзaйте, ч†да, и3 возопjйте къ бGу, бyдетъ бо вaмъ t навeдшагw пaмzть.
28
28
For as it was your mind to go astray from God: so, being returned, seek him ten times more. Ћкоже бо бhсть ќмъ вaшъ заблуди1ти вaмъ t бGа, тaкw нн7э десzти1жды ўсугуби1те њбрати1вшесz взыскaти є3го2:
29
29
For he that hath brought these plagues upon you shall bring you everlasting joy again with your salvation. наведhй бо вaмъ ѕл†z наведeтъ вaмъ вёчное весeліе со сп7сeніемъ вaшимъ.
30
30
Take a good heart, O Jerusalem: for he that gave thee that name will comfort thee.
31
31
Miserable are they that afflicted thee, and rejoiced at thy fall.
32
32
Miserable are the cities which thy children served: miserable is she that received thy sons.
33
33
For as she rejoiced at thy ruin, and was glad of thy fall: so shall she be grieved for her own desolation. Ћкоже бо порaдовасz њ твоeмъ падeніи и3 возвесели1сz њ разорeніи твоeмъ, тaкожде њпечaлитсz њ своeмъ запустёніи.
34
34
For I will take away the rejoicing of her great multitude, and her pride shall be turned into mourning. И# tсэкY t неS весeліе многонар0дства, и3 величaніе є3S бyдетъ въ рыдaніе.
35
35
For fire shall come upon her from the Everlasting, long to endure; and she shall be inhabited of devils for a great time.
36
36
O Jerusalem, look about thee toward the east, and behold the joy that cometh unto thee from God.
37
37
Lo, thy sons come, whom thou sentest away, they come gathered together from the east to the west by the word of the Holy One, rejoicing in the glory of God. СE, грzдyтъ сhнове твои2, и5хже и3спусти1лъ є3си2, грzдyтъ с0брани t востHкъ дaже до з†падъ сл0вомъ с™aгw, рaдующесz њ слaвэ б9іей.

Главa є7

1
Put off, O Jerusalem, the garment of thy mourning and affliction, and put on the comeliness of the glory that cometh from God for ever.

Cast about thee a double garment of the righteousness which cometh from God; and set a diadem on thine head of the glory of the Everlasting.

For God will shew thy brightness unto every country under heaven.

For thy name shall be called of God for ever The peace of righteousness, and The glory of God's worship.

5
Arise, O Jerusalem, and stand on high, and look about toward the east, and behold thy children gathered from the west unto the east by the word of the Holy One, rejoicing in the remembrance of God. 6
For they departed from thee on foot, and were led away of their enemies: but God bringeth them unto thee exalted with glory, as children of the kingdom.

For God hath appointed that every high hill, and banks of long continuance, should be cast down, and vallies filled up, to make even the ground, that Israel may go safely in the glory of God. 9
For God shall lead Israel with joy in the light of his glory with the mercy and righteousness that cometh from him.
