| After these things I saw another angel coming down out of heaven, having great authority; and the earth was lightened with his glory. |

| And he cried with a mighty voice, saying, Fallen is Babylon the great, and is become a habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hateful bird.

| For by the wine of the wrath of her fornication all the nations are fallen; and the kings of the earth committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth waxed rich by the power of her wantonness. | и3 цaріе зeмстіи съ нeю любы2 дёzша, и3 купцы2 зeмстіи t си1лы пи1щи є3S [t богaтства сластeй є3гw2] разбогатёша. |

| And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come forth out of her, my people, that ye have no fellowship with her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues: | И# слhшахъ глaсъ и4нъ съ небесE, гlющь: и3зыди1те и3з8 неS, лю1діе мои2, да не причаститeсz грэхHмъ є3S и3 t ћзвъ є3S да не вреди1тесz: |
5
5
| for her sins have reached even unto heaven, and God hath remembered her, even her iniquities. |
6
6
| Render unto her even as she rendered, and double unto her the double, even as she has done, and according to her works: in her cup which she mingled, mingle unto her double. | Воздади1те є4й, ћкw и3 тA воздадE вaмъ, и3 ўсугyбите є4й сугyбо по дэлHмъ є3S: чaшею, є4юже черпA (вaмъ), черпли1те є4й сугyбо. |
7
7
| How much soever she glorified herself, and waxed wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall in no wise see mourning. | Е#ли1кw прослaвисz и3 разсвирёпэ [наслади1сz], толи1кw дади1те є4й мyкъ и3 рыдaній: ћкw въ сeрдцы своeмъ глаг0летъ, (ћкw) сэжY цари1цею, и3 вдовA нёсмь, и3 рыдaніz не и4мамъ ви1дэти. |
8
8
| Therefore in one day shall her plagues come, death, mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire; for strong is the Lord God who judged her. | Сегw2 рaди во є3ди1нъ дeнь пріи1дутъ ћзвы є4й, смeрть и3 плaчь и3 глaдъ, и3 nгнeмъ сожженA бyдетъ, ћкw крёпокъ гDь бGъ судsй є4й. |
9
9
| And the kings of the earth, who committed fornication and lived wantonly with her, shall weep and wail over her, when they look upon the smoke of her burning, | И# возрыдaютъ и3 восплaчутсz є3S цaріе зeмстіи, любы2 дёzвшіи съ нeю и3 разсвирёпэвшіи, є3гдA ќзрzтъ дhмъ запалeніz є3S, |
10
10
| standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. | и3здалeча стоsще за стрaхъ мyкъ є3S, глаг0люще: г0ре, г0ре, грaдъ вели1кій вавmлHнъ, грaдъ крёпкій, ћкw во є3ди1нъ чaсъ пріи1де сyдъ тв0й. |
11
11
| And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her, for no man buyeth their merchandise anymore; | И# купцы2 зeмстіи возрыдaютъ и3 восплaчутсz њ нeмъ, ћкw бремeнъ и4хъ никт0же купyетъ ктомY, |
12

| merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stone, and pearl, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet; and all thyine wood, and every vessel of ivory, and every vessel made of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble; | бремeнъ злaта и3 сребрA, и3 кaменіz драгaгw и3 би1сера, и3 вЂсса и3 порфЂры, и3 шeлка и3 червeни, и3 всsкагw дрeва fmи1нна, и3 всsкагw сосyда и3з8 к0сти слон0выz, и3 всsкагw сосyда t дрeва честнaгw, и3 мёдzна и3 желёзна и3 мрaморна, |
13
13
| and cinnamon, and incense, and ointment, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and sheep, and cattle; and merchandise of horses and chariots and slaves; and souls of men. | и3 кори1цы и3 fmміaма, и3 мЂра и3 лівaна, и3 вінA и3 є3лeа, и3 семідaла и3 пшени1цы, и3 скотA и3 nвeцъ, и3 к0ней и3 колесни1цъ, и3 тэлeсъ и3 дyшъ человёческихъ. |
14
14
| And the fruits which thy soul lusted after are gone from thee, and all things that were dainty and sumptuous are perished from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. |
15
15
| The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, both weeping and mourning, | Купцы2 си1ми њбогaщшесz t неS, и3здалeча стaнутъ за стрaхъ мучeніz є3S, рыдaюще и3 плaчущесz, |
16
16
| saying, Woe, woe, the great city, she that was arrayed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stone and pearls!
17
17
| for in one hour so great riches is made desolate. And every shipmaster, and everyone that saileth anywhither, and mariners, and as many as gain their living by sea, stood afar off, | ћкw во є3ди1нъ чaсъ поги1бе толи1ко богaтство.

19
19
| And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and mourning, and saying, Woe, woe, the great city, wherein all that had their ships in the sea were made rich by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. |
20
20
| Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye saints, and ye apostles, and ye prophets; for God hath judged your judgment on her. |
21
21
| And a strong angel took up a stone as it were a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with a mighty fall shall Babylon, the great city, be cast down, and shall be found no more at all. | И# взsтъ є3ди1нъ ѓгGлъ крёпокъ кaмень вели1къ ћкw жeрновъ и3 вeрже въ м0ре, глаг0лz: тaкw стремлeніемъ ввeрженъ бyдетъ вавmлHнъ грaдъ вели1кій, и3 не и4мать њбрэсти1сz ктомY: |
22
22
| And the voice of harpers and minstrels and flute players and trumpeters shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft, shall be found anymore at all in thee; and the voice of a mill shall be heard no more at all in thee; | и3 глaсъ гудє1цъ и3 мусікjй, и3 пискaтелей и3 трyбъ не и4мать слhшатисz ктомY въ тебЁ: и3 всsкъ хитрeцъ всsкіz хи1трости не њбрsщетсz ктомY въ тебЁ, и3 шyмъ жeрновный не бyдетъ слhшанъ въ тебЁ: |
23
23
| and the light of a lamp shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the princes of the earth; for with thy sorcery were all the nations deceived. |
24
24
| And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all that have been slain upon the earth. |
