| ΚΑΙ ἐγένετο τὰ ὅρια φυλῆς ᾿Ιούδα κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν ἀπὸ τῶν ὁρίων τῆς ᾿Ιδουμαίας ἀπὸ τῆς ἐρήμου Σὶν ἕως Κάδης πρὸς λίβα. | And the borders of the tribe of Juda according to their families were from the borders of Idumea from the wilderness of Sin, as far as Cades southward. |

| καὶ ἐγενήθη αὐτῶν τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ λιβὸς ἕως μέρους θαλάσσης τῆς ἁλυκῆς, ἀπὸ τῆς λοφιᾶς τῆς φερούσης ἐπὶ λίβα | And their borders were from the south as far as a part of the salt sea from the high country that extends southward. |

| καὶ διαπορεύεται ἀπέναντι τῆς προσαναβάσεως ᾿Ακραβὶν καὶ ἐκπεριπορεύεται Σενὰ καὶ ἀναβαίνει ἀπὸ λιβὸς ἐπὶ Κάδης Βαρνὴ καὶ ἐκπορεύεται ᾿Ασωρὼν καὶ προσαναβαίνει εἰς Σάραδα καὶ ἐκπορεύεται τὴν κατὰ δυσμὰς Κάδης | And they proceed before the ascent of Acrabin, and go out round Sena, and go up from the south to Cades Barne; and go out to Asoron, and proceed up to Sarada, and go out by the way that is west of Cades. |

| καὶ ἐκπορεύεται ἐπὶ Σελμωνὰν καὶ διεκβάλλει ἕως φάραγγος Αἰγύπτου, καὶ ἔσται αὐτοῦ ἡ διέξοδος τῶν ὁρίων ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν· τοῦτό ἐστιν αὐτῶν ὅρια ἀπὸ λιβός. | And they go out to Selmona, and issue at the valley of Egypt; and the termination of its boundaries shall be at the sea: these are their boundaries southward. |

| καὶ τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν· πᾶσα ἡ θάλασσα ἡ ἁλυκὴ ἕως τοῦ ᾿Ιορδάνου. καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν ἀπὸ βορρᾶ καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς λοφιᾶς τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ μέρους τοῦ ᾿Ιορδάνου· | And their boundaries eastward are all the salt sea as far as Jordan; and their borders from the north, and from the border of the sea, and from part of Jordan— |

| ἐπιβαίνει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ Βαιθαγλὰ καὶ παραπορεύεται ἀπὸ Βορρᾶ ἐπὶ Βαιθάραβα, καὶ προσαναβαίνει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ λίθον Βαιὼν υἱοῦ Ρουβήν, | the borders go up to Bæthaglaam, and they go along from the north to Bætharaba, and the borders go on up to the stone of Bæon the son of Ruben. |

| καὶ προσαναβαίνει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὸ τέταρτον τῆς φάραγγος ᾿Αχὼρ καὶ καταβαίνει ἐπὶ Γαλγάλ, ἥ ἐστιν ἀπέναντι τῆς προσβάσεως ᾿Αδδαμίν, ἥ ἐστι κατὰ λίβα τῇ φάραγγι, καὶ διεκβάλλει ἐπὶ τὸ ὕδωρ πηγῆς τοῦ ἡλίου, καὶ ἔσται αὐτοῦ ἡ διέξοδος πηγὴ Ρωγήλ, | And the borders continue on to the fourth part of the valley of Achor, and go down to Galgal, which is before the approach of Adammin, which is southward in the valley, and terminate at the water of the fountain of the sun; and their going forth shall be the fountain of Rogel. |

| καὶ ἀναβαίνει τὰ ὅρια εἰς φάραγγα ᾿Ονὸμ ἐπὶ νώτου ᾿Ιεβοῦς ἀπὸ λιβὸς (αὕτη ἐστὶν ῾Ιερουσαλὴμ) καὶ διεκβάλλει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ κορυφὴν ὄρους, ἥ ἐστι κατὰ πρόσωπον φάραγγος ᾿Ονὸμ πρὸς θαλάσσης, ἥ ἐστιν ἐκ μέρους γῆς Ραφαΐν ἐπὶ βορρᾶ, | And the borders go up to the valley of Ennom, behind Jebus southward; this is Jerusalem: and the borders terminate at the top of the mountain, which is before the valley of Ennom toward the sea, which is by the side of the land of Raphain northward. |

| καὶ διεκβάλλει τὸ ὅριον ἀπὸ κορυφῆς τοῦ ὄρους ἐπὶ πηγὴν ὕδατος Ναφθὼ καὶ διεκβάλλει εἰς τὸ ὄρος ᾿Εφρών, καὶ ἄξει τὸ ὅριον εἰς Βαὰλ (αὕτη ἐστὶ πόλις ᾿Ιαρίμ), | And the border going forth from the top of the mountain terminates at the fountain of the water of Naphtho, and terminates at mount Ephron; and the border will lead to Baal; this is the city of Jarim. |

| καὶ περιελεύσεται ὅριον ἀπὸ Βαὰλ ἐπὶ θάλασσαν καὶ παρελεύσεται εἰς ὄρος ᾿Ασσὰρ ἐπὶ νώτου, Πόλιν ᾿Ιαρὶν ἀπὸ βορρᾶ (αὕτη ἐστὶ Χασλὼν) καὶ καταβήσεται ἐπὶ Πόλιν ἡλίου καὶ παρελεύσεται ἐπὶ λίβα, | And the border will go round from Baal to the sea, and will go on to the mount of Assar behind the city of Jarin northwards; this is Chaslon: and it will come down to the city of the Sun, and will go on to the south. |

| καὶ διεκβάλλει τὸ ὅριον κατὰ νώτου ᾿Ακκαρὼν ἐπὶ βορρᾶν, καὶ διεκβαλεῖ τὰ ὅρια εἰς Σοκχὼθ καὶ παρελεύσεται ὅρια ἐπὶ λίβα καὶ διεκβαλεῖ ἐπὶ Λεβνά, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος τῶν ὁρίων ἐπὶ θάλασσαν. καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν ἀπὸ θαλάσσης· ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη ὁριεῖ. | And the border terminates behind Accaron northward, and the borders will terminate at Socchoth, and the borders will go on to the south, and will terminate at Lebna, and the issue of the borders will be at the sea; and their borders shall be toward the sea, the great sea shall be the boundary. |

| ταῦτα τὰ ὅρια υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα κύκλῳ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν. | These are the borders of the children of Juda round about according to their families. |

| καὶ τῷ Χάλεβ υἱῷ ᾿Ιεφονὴ ἔδωκε μερίδα ἐν μέσῳ υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα διὰ προστάγματος τοῦ Θεοῦ, καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ ᾿Ιησοῦς τὴν πόλιν ᾿Αρβὸκ μητρόπολιν ᾿Ενὰκ (αὕτη ἐστὶ Χεβρών). | And to Chaleb the son of Jephone he gave a portion in the midst of the children of Juda by the command of God; and Joshua gave him the city of Arboc the metropolis of Enac; this is Chebron. |

| καὶ ἐξωλόθρευσεν ἐκεῖθεν Χάλεβ υἱὸς ᾿Ιεφονὴ τοὺς τρεῖς υἱοὺς ᾿Ενάκ, τὸν Σουσὶ καὶ Θολαμὶ καὶ τὸν ᾿Αχιμᾶ. | And Chaleb the son of Jephone destroyed thence the three sons of Enac, Susi, and Tholami, and Achima. |

| καὶ ἀνέβη ἐκεῖθεν Χάλεβ ἐπὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Δαβίρ· τὸ δὲ ὄνομα Δαβὶρ ἦν τὸ πρότερον Πόλις γραμμάτων. | And Chaleb went up thence to the inhabitants of Dabir; and the name of Dabir before was the city of Letters. |

| καὶ εἶπε Χάλεβ· ὃς ἐὰν λάβῃ καὶ ἐκκόψῃ τὴν Πόλιν τῶν γραμμάτων καὶ κυριεύσῃ αὐτῆς, δώσω αὐτῷ τὴν ᾿Ασχὰν θυγατέρα μου εἰς γυναῖκα· | And Chaleb said, Whosoever shall take and destroy the city of Letters, and master it, to him will I give my daughter Ascha to wife. |

| καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὴν Γοθονιὴλ υἱὸς Κενὲζ ἀδελφὸς Χάλεβ ὁ νεώτερος καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ τὴν ᾿Ασχὰν θυγατέρα αὐτοῦ γυναῖκα. | And Gothoniel the son of Chenez the brother of Chaleb took it; and he gave him Ascha his daughter to wife. |

| καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἐκπορεύεσθαι αὐτὴν καὶ συνεβουλεύσατο αὐτῷ λέγουσα· αἰτήσομαι τὸν πατέρα μου ἀγρόν· καὶ ἐβόησεν ἐκ τοῦ ὄνου. καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ Χάλεβ· τί ἐστί σοι; | And it came to pass as she went out that she counselled him, saying, I will ask of my father a field; and she cried from off her ass; and Chaleb said to her, What is it? |

| καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ· δός μοι εὐλογίαν, ὅτι εἰς γῆν Ναγὲβ δέδωκάς με· δός μοι τὴν Γολαθμαίν. καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῇ Χάλεβ τὴν Γολαθμαὶν τὴν ἄνω καὶ τὴν Γολαθμαὶν τὴν κάτω. | And she said to him, Give me a blessing, for thou hast set me in the land of Nageb; give me Botthanis: and he gave her Gonæthla the upper, and Gonæthla the lower. |

| αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα. | This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Juda. |

| ᾿Εγενήθησαν δὲ πόλεις αὐτῶν· πόλις πρώτη φυλῆς υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα ἐφ’ ὁρίων ᾿Εδὼμ ἐπὶ τῆς ἐρήμου, | And their cities were cities belonging to the tribe of the children of Juda on the borders of Edom by the wilderness, and Bæseleel, and Ara, and Asor, |

| καὶ Βαισελεὴλ καὶ ᾿Αρὰ καὶ ᾿Ασὼρ καὶ ᾿Ικὰμ καὶ Ρεγμὰ καὶ ᾿Αρουὴλ | and Icam, and Regma, and Aruel, |
|

|
| καὶ Κάδης καὶ ᾿Ασοριωναὶν καὶ Μαινὰμ | and Cades, and Asorionain, and Mænam, |
|

|
| καὶ Βαλμαινὰν καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν | and Balmænan, and their villages, |
|

|
| καὶ αἱ πόλεις ᾿Ασερὼν (αὕτη ᾿Ασὼρ) | and the cities of Aseron, this is Asor, |
|

|
| καὶ Σὴν καὶ Σαλμαὰ καὶ Μωλαδᾶ | and Sen, and Salmaa, and Molada, |
|

|
| καὶ Σερὶ καὶ Βαιφαλὰδ | and Seri, and Bæphalath, |
|

|
| καὶ Χολασεωλὰ καὶ Βηρσαβεὲ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν, | and Cholaseola, and Beersabee; and their villages, and their hamlets, |

|
| Βαλὰ καὶ Βακὼκ καὶ ᾿Ασὸμ | Bala and Bacoc, and Asom, |
|

|
| καὶ ᾿Ελβωϋδὰδ καὶ Βαιθὴλ καὶ ῾Ερμᾶ | and Elboüdad, and Bæthel, and Herma, |
|

|
| καὶ Σεκελὰκ καὶ Μαχαρὶμ καὶ Σεθεννὰκ | and Sekelac, and Macharim, and Sethennac, |
|

|
| καὶ Λαβὼς καὶ Σαλὴ καὶ ᾿Ερωμώθ, πόλεις εἰκοσιεννέα, καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν. | and Labos, and Sale, and Eromoth; twenty-nine cities, and their villages. |
|

| ἐν τῇ πεδινῇ· ᾿Ασταὼλ καὶ Ράα καὶ ῎Ασσα | In the plain country Astaol, and Raa, and Assa, |

| καὶ Ράμεν καὶ Τανὼ καὶ ᾿Ιλουθὼθ καὶ Μαιανὶ | and Ramen, and Tano, and Iluthoth, and Mæani, |
|

|
| καὶ ῾Ιερμοὺθ καὶ ᾿Οδολλὰμ καὶ Μεμβρὰ καὶ Σαωχὼ καὶ ᾿Αζηκὰ | and Jermuth, and Odollam, and Membra, and Saocho, and Jazeca. |
|

| καὶ Σακαρὶμ καὶ Γάδηρα καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῆς, πόλεις δεκατέσσαρες καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· | And Sacarim and Gadera, and its villages; fourteen cities, and their villages; |

| Σεννὰ καὶ ᾿Αδασὰν καὶ Μαγαδαλγὰδ | Senna, and Adasan, and Magadalgad, |

| καὶ Δαλὰλ καὶ Μασφὰ καὶ ᾿Ιαχαρεὴλ καὶ Λαχὶς | and Dalad, and Maspha, and Jachareel, |

| καὶ Βασηδὼθ καὶ ᾿Ιδεαδαλέα | and Basedoth, and Ideadalea; |
|

|
| καὶ Χαβρὰ καὶ Μαχὲς καὶ Μααχὼς | and Chabra, and Maches, and Maachos, |

| καὶ Γεδδὼρ καὶ Βαγαδιὴλ καὶ Νωμὰν καὶ Μαχηδάν, πόλεις ἑκκαίδεκα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· | and Geddor, and Bagadiel, and Noman, and Machedan: sixteen cities, and their villages; |

| καὶ Κεϊλὰμ καὶ ᾿Ακιεζὶ καὶ Κεζὶβ καὶ Βαθησὰρ καὶ Αἰλώμ, πόλεις δέκα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· | and Keilam, and Akiezi, and Kezib, and Bathesar, and Ælom: ten cities, and their villages; |

| ἀπὸ ᾿Ακκαρὼν Γεμνὰ καὶ πᾶσαι, ὅσαι εἰσὶ πλησίον ᾿Ασηδώθ, καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· | from Accaron, Gemna, and all the cities that are near Asedoth; and their villages. |

| ᾿Ασιεδὼθ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῆς· Γάζα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῆς ἕως τοῦ χειμάρρου Αἰγύπτου· καὶ ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη διορίζει. | Asiedoth, and her villages, and her hamlets; Gaza, and its villages and its hamlets as far as the river of Egypt, and the great sea is the boundary. |

| καὶ Γαβαὰ καὶ Θαμναθά, πόλεις ἐννέα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· | and Gabaa, and Thamnatha; nine cities, and their villages; |

| ᾿Αλουὰ καὶ Βαιθσοὺρ καὶ Γεδδὼν | Ælua, and Bethsur, and Geddon, |

| καὶ Μαγαρὼθ καὶ Βαιθανὰμ καὶ Θεκούμ, πόλεις ἓξ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· Θεκὼ καὶ ᾿Εφραθὰ (αὕτη ἐστὶ Βηθλεὲμ) καὶ Φαγὼρ καὶ Αἰτὰν καὶ Κουλὸν καὶ Τατὰμ καὶ Θωβὴς καὶ Καρὲμ καὶ Γαλὲμ καὶ Θεθὴρ καὶ Μανοχώ, πόλεις ἕνδεκα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· | and Magaroth, and Bæthanam, and Thecum; six cities, and their villages; |

| Καριαθβαὰλ (αὕτη ἡ πόλις ᾿Ιαρὶμ) καὶ Σωθηβᾶ, πόλεις δύο καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν | Cariathbaal, this is the city of Jarim, and Sotheba: two cities, and their villages: |

| καὶ Αἰχιοζὰ καὶ Ναφλαζὼν καὶ αἱ πόλεις Σαδὼν καὶ ᾿Αγκάδης, πόλεις ἑπτὰ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν. | and Æochioza, and Naphlazon, and the cities of Sadon, and Ancades; seven cities, and their villages. |

| καὶ ὁ ᾿Ιεβουσαῖος κατῴκει ἐν ῾Ιερουσαλήμ, καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνάσθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ ᾿Ιούδα ἀπολέσαι αὐτούς· καὶ κατῴκησαν οἱ ᾿Ιεβουσαῖοι ἐν ῾Ιερουσαλὴμ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης. | And the Jebusite dwelt in Jerusalem, and the children of Juda could not destroy them; and the Jebusites dwelt in Jerusalem to this day. |
