И бы́сть въ четыредеся́тноє и въ четвертосо́тноє лѣ́то исхо́да сыно́въ Ізра́илевыхъ изъ Єги́пта, въ лѣ́то четве́ртоє, въ ме́сяцъ вторы́й, ца́рствующу царю́ Соломо́ну надъ Ізра́илемъ, и созда́ хра́мъ Го́сподеви.

And it came to pass in the four hundred and fortieth year after the departure of the children of Israel out of Egypt, in the fourth year and second month of the reign of king Solomon over Israel, that the king commanded that they should take great and costly stones for the foundation of the house, and hewn stones. And the men of Solomon, and the men of Chiram hewed the stones, and laid them for a foundation. In the fourth year he laid the foundation of the house of the Lord, in the month Ziu, even in the second month. In the eleventh year, in the month Baal, this is the eighth month, the house was completed according to all its plan, and according to all its arrangement.

И хра́мъ, єго́же созда́ Соломо́нъ ца́рь Го́сподеви, [бя́ше] шестьдеся́тъ лако́тъ долгота́ єго́, и два́десяти лако́тъ широта́ єго́, и три́десяти лако́тъ высота́ єго́:
|
And the house which the king built to the Lord was forty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and its height five and twenty cubits.

и притво́ръ, и́же предъ лице́мъ хра́ма, два́десяти лако́тъ долгота́ єго́ въ широту́ до́му, и десяти́ лако́тъ широта́ єго́ предъ лице́мъ до́му: и созда́ хра́мъ, и соверши́ єго́.
|
And the porch in front of the temple—twenty cubits was its length according to the breadth of the house in front of the house: and he built the house, and finished it.
|

|
И сотвори́ хра́му о́кна преклоне́ны сокрове́ны.
|
And he made to the house secret windows inclining inward.
|
|

|
И созда́ на стѣнѣ́ до́му притво́ры о́коло хра́ма и даві́ра.
|
And against the wall of the house he set chambers round about the temple and the ark.
|
|

|
|
И сотвори́ бока́ о́коло, бо́къ и́же съ ни́зу, пяти́ лако́тъ широта́ єго́, и сре́дній шести́ лако́тъ широта́, и тре́тій седми́ лако́тъ широта́ єго́: поне́же разстоя́ніє до́му сотвори́ о́крестъ внѣу́ду хра́ма, я́ко да не досяза́ютъ стѣ́нъ хра́ма.

The under side was five cubits broad, and the middle part six, and the third was seven cubits broad; for he formed an interval to the house round about without the house, that they might not touch the walls of the house.

И хра́му зи́ждему су́щу, ка́меніємъ краєсѣко́мымъ нете́санымъ созда́ся: мла́тъ же, и тесли́ца, и вся́коє ору́діє желѣ́зно не слы́шася въ хра́мѣ, єгда́ созида́тися єму́.
|
And the house was built in the construction of it with rough hewn stones: and there was not heard in the house in the building of it hammer or axe, or any iron tool.

|
И две́ри бо́ка ни́жняго подъ стѣно́ю хра́ма десно́ю, и извіє́нный восхо́дъ до среди́ны, а от среди́ны до трекро́вныхъ.
|
And the porch of the under side was below the right wing of the house, and there was a winding ascent into the middle chamber, and from the middle to the third story.
|

|
И созда́ хра́мъ, и соверши́ єго́: и обста́ви хра́мъ дска́ми ке́дровыми.
|
So he built the house and finished it; and he made the ceiling of the house with cedars.
|
|

|
|
И сотвори́ вяза́нія о́крестъ всего́ хра́ма, пя́ть лако́тъ въ высоту́ єго́, и связа́ вяза́ніє дре́вомъ ке́дровымъ.
|
And he made the partitions through all the house, each five cubits high, and enclosed each partition with cedar boards.

И бы́сть сло́во Госпо́дне къ Соломо́ну, глаго́лющеє:
|
And he framed the walls of the house within with cedar boards, from the floor of the house and on to the inner walls and to the beams: he lined the parts enclosed with boards within, and compassed the inward parts of the house with planks of fir.

|
хра́мъ се́й єго́же ты́ созида́єши, а́ще по́йдеши по за́повѣдемъ мои́мъ, и судьбы́ моя́ сотвори́ши, и сохрани́ши вся́ повелѣ́нія моя́, є́же пребыва́ти въ ни́хъ, утвержу́ сло́во моє́ съ тобо́ю, є́же глаго́лахъ даві́ду отцу́ твоєму́,

And he built the twenty cubits from the top of the wall, one side from the floor to the beams, and he made it from the oracle to the most holy place.

и вселю́ся посредѣ́ сыно́въ Ізра́илевыхъ, и не оста́влю люді́й мои́хъ Ізра́иля.
|
And the temple was forty cubits in extent,
|

|
И созда́ Соломо́нъ хра́мъ, и сконча́ єго́.
|
in front of the oracle in the midst of the house within, in order to put there the ark of the covenant of the Lord.
|
|

|
И созда́ стѣ́ны хра́му вну́трь дре́вомъ ке́дровымъ, от земли́ хра́ма и да́же до стѣ́нъ и да́же до верха́: о́коло обста́ви содержа́щая древа́ми внутрьу́ду и укрѣпи́ вну́трь хра́ма бока́ми пе́вговыми.

The length was twenty cubits, and the breadth was twenty cubits, and the height of it was twenty cubits. And he covered it with perfect gold, and he made an altar

И созда́ два́десяти лако́тъ от кра́я стѣны́ бо́къ єди́нъ от земли́ да́же до верха́: и сотвори́ єму́ вну́трь от даві́ра стѣ́ну до свята́я святы́хъ.

in front of the oracle, and covered it with gold.
|

|
И четы́редесяти лако́тъ бя́ше хра́мъ: се́й [є́сть] хра́мъ вну́треннѣйшій.
|
And he covered the whole house with gold, till he had finished gilding the whole house.
|
|

|
И от ке́дра во хра́мѣ вну́трь поста́ви плете́ніє и дщи́цы и вая́нія вся́ ке́дрова: ка́мень не явля́шеся.
|
And he made in the oracle two cherubs of ten cubits measured size.
|
|

|
Предъ лице́мъ даві́ра, посредѣ́ хра́ма вну́трь угото́ва поста́вити та́мо ківо́тъ завѣ́та Госпо́дня.
|
And the wing of one cherub was five cubits, and his other wing was five cubits; ten cubits from the tip of one wing to the tip of the other wing.

|
И предъ лице́мъ даві́ра два́десяти лако́тъ долгота́, и два́десяти лако́тъ широта́, и два́десяти лако́тъ высота́ єго́, и объя́тъ єго́ зла́томъ чи́стымъ: и сотвори́ олта́рь ке́дровый: и повлече́ Соломо́нъ хра́мъ вну́трь зла́томъ чи́стымъ, и пригвозди́ гвоздми́ златы́ми предъ лице́мъ даві́ра, и объя́тъ и́ зла́томъ.

Thus it was with the other cherub, both were alike finished with one measure.

И ве́сь хра́мъ объя́тъ зла́томъ до сконча́нія всего́ хра́ма.
|
And the height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it with the second cherub.
|

|
И все́ вну́трь даві́ра покры́ зла́томъ.
|
And both the cherubs were in the midst of the innermost part of the house; and they spread out their wings, and one wing touched the wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings in the midst of the house touched each other.

|
И сотвори́ въ даві́рѣ два́ херуві́ма от дре́въ кипарі́сныхъ, де́сять лако́тъ мѣ́рою вели́чество:
|
And he covered the cherubs with gold.
|
|

|
и пяти́ лако́тъ крило́ херуві́ма єди́наго, и пяти́ лако́тъ крило́ єго́ второ́є, десяти́ лако́тъ от кра́я крила́ єго́ до кра́я крила́ єго́:
|
He graved all the walls of the house round about with the graving of cherubs, and he sculptured palm trees within and without the house.

и десяти́ лако́тъ та́кожде [мѣ́ра] херуві́му второ́му, мѣ́ра єди́на соверше́ніє єди́но обои́мъ херуві́момъ:
|
And he covered the floor of the house within and without with gold.
|

|
и высота́ херуві́ма єди́наго де́сять лако́тъ, та́кожде и второ́му херуві́му.
|
And for the door-way of the oracle he made doors of juniper wood, there were porches in a four-fold way.
|

|
И поста́ви о́ба херуві́ма посредѣ́ хра́ма вну́тренняго: и простира́ху кри́ла своя́, и досяза́ше крило́ єди́но до стѣны́ хра́ма, и крило́ друга́го херуві́ма досяза́ше до стѣны́ вторы́я: и кри́ла и́хъ я́же бя́ху посредѣ́ хра́ма, каса́шеся крило́ съ крило́мъ:

In both the doors were planks of fir; the one door had two leaves and their hinges, and the other door had two leaves and turned on hinges,

и объя́ты бы́ша херуві́мы зла́томъ.
|
being carved with cherubs, and there were palm-trees and open flower-leaves, and it was overlaid with gold gilt upon the engraving.

|
И на всѣ́хъ стѣна́хъ хра́ма о́коло вая́нія написа́ подо́біємъ херуві́мовъ, и фі́ніки, и изва́янна произница́ющая внутрьу́ду и внѣу́ду.
|
And he built the inner court, three rows of hewn stones, and a row of wrought cedar round about, and he made the curtain of the court of the porch of the house that was in front of the temple.

И помо́стъ хра́ма изъ внутрьу́ду и внѣу́ду объя́тъ зла́томъ.
|

|
|
И вхо́ду даві́ра сотвори́ две́ри от дре́въ сме́рчіихъ, и пра́ги пятери́чны,
|
|
|

|
|
|
и дво́и две́ри от дре́въ пе́вговыхъ, и извая́нія на ни́хъ изва́яна, херуві́мы, и фі́ніки, и дщи́цы просте́ртыя, и объя́тъ я́ зла́томъ, и бя́ше зла́томъ устро́єно до херуві́мовъ и до фі́ніковъ.

И та́ко сотвори́ врато́мъ хра́ма: и пра́ги от дре́въ сме́рчіихъ, притво́ры четверогу́бо.
|

|
И на обои́хъ дверя́хъ древа́ пе́вгова: два́ затво́ра две́рь єди́на и вереи́ и́хъ, и два́ затво́ра две́рь втора́я враща́ющаяся въ себѣ́,
|
|
|

|
|
[на ни́хже сотвори́] изва́янныя херуві́мы и фі́ніки, и дщи́цы просте́ртыя, и объя́тыя зла́томъ свѣ́шенымъ на изображе́ніє.
|
|
|

|
|
И созда́ дво́ръ вну́тренній: въ три́ ряда́ нете́саныхъ, и ря́дъ те́санаго ке́дра о́коло.
|
|

|
|
Въ лѣ́то четве́ртоє основа́ хра́мъ Госпо́день въ ме́сяцѣ зі́и, во вторы́й ме́сяцъ.
|
|
|

|
|
|
Во єдинонадеся́тоє лѣ́то въ ме́сяцѣ ву́лъ, се́й ме́сяцъ осмы́й, соверши́ся хра́мъ по всему́ словеси́ своєму́ и по всему́ устроє́нію своєму́: и созда́ єго́ въ се́дмь лѣ́тъ.
