| СицєвA u5бо и3мyще њбэтwвaніz, q, возлю1бленніи, (За? Rп7G.) | Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. |
2
2
| Open your hearts to us: we wronged no man, we corrupted no man, we took advantage of no man. |
3
3
| I say it not to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die together and live together. |
4
4
| Мн0го ми2 дерзновeніе къ вaмъ, мн0га ми2 похвалA њ вaсъ: и3сп0лнихсz ўтёхи, преизбhточествую рaдостію њ всsцэй печaли нaшей. | Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying on your behalf: I am filled with comfort, I overflow with joy in all our affliction. |
5
5
| For even when we were come into Macedonia our flesh had no relief, but we were afflicted on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. |
6
6
| Но ўтэшazй смирє1нныz, ўтёши нaсъ бGъ пришeствіемъ тjтовымъ, | Nevertheless he that comforteth the lowly, even God, comforted us by the coming of Titus; |
7
7
| не т0кмw же пришeствіемъ є3гw2, но и3 ўтэшeніемъ, и4мже ўтёшисz њ вaсъ, повёдаz нaмъ вaше желaніе, вaше рыдaніе, вaшу рeвность по мнЁ, ћкw ми2 пaче возрaдоватисz. | and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort wherewith he was comforted in you, while he told us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced yet more. |
8
8
| Ћкw ѓще и3 њскорби1хъ вaсъ послaніемъ, не раскaюсz, ѓще и3 раскazлъ бhхъ сS: ви1жду бо2, ћкw послaніе џно, ѓще и3 къ часY, њскорби2 вaсъ. | For though I made you sorry with my epistle, I do not regret it: though I did regret it (for I see that that epistle made you sorry, though but for a season), |
9
9
| Нн7э рaдуюсz, не ћкw ск0рбни бhсте, но ћкw њскорби1стесz въ покаsніе: њскорбёсте бо2 по бз7э, дA ни въ чeмже њтщетитeсz t нaсъ. | I now rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye were made sorry unto repentance; for ye were made sorry after a godly sort, that ye might suffer loss by us in nothing. |
10
10
Rп7д7.) | For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. |
11
11
| Сe бо сіE сaмое, є4же по бз7э њскорби1тисz вaмъ, коли1ко содёла въ вaсъ тщaніе; но tвётъ; но негодовaніе, но стрaхъ, но вожделёніе, но рeвность, но tмщeніе; Во всeмъ предстaвисте себE чи6сты бhти въ вeщи. | For behold, this selfsame thing, that ye were made sorry after a godly sort, what earnest care it wrought in you, yea what clearing of yourselves, yea what indignation, yea what fear, yea what longing, yea what zeal, yea what avenging! In everything ye approved yourselves to be pure in the matter. |
12
12
| Ѓще бо и3 писaхъ вaмъ, не њби1дэвшагw рaди, нижE њби1димагw рaди, но за є4же kви1тисz въ вaсъ тщaнію нaшему, є4же њ вaсъ пред8 бGомъ. | So although I wrote unto you, I wrote not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be made manifest unto you in the sight of God. |
13
13
| Сегw2 рaди ўтёшихомсz њ ўтэшeніи вaшемъ: ли1шше же пaче возрaдовахомсz њ рaдости тjтовэ, ћкw пок0исz дyхъ є3гw2 t всёхъ вaсъ: | Therefore we have been comforted in your comfort: and we joyed the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit hath been refreshed by you all. |
14
14
| ћкw ѓще что2 є3мY њ вaсъ похвали1хсz, не посрами1хсz: но ћкw вс‰ вои1стинну глаг0лахомъ вaмъ, тaкw и3 похвалeніе нaше, є4же къ тjту, и4стинно бhсть: | For if in anything I have gloried to him on your behalf, I was not put to shame; but as we spake all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be the truth. |
15
15
| и3 ўтр0ба є3гw2 и4злиха къ вaмъ є4сть, воспоминaющагw всёхъ вaсъ послушaніе, ћкw со стрaхомъ и3 трeпетомъ пріsсте є3го2. | And his affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him. |
16
16
| Рaдуюсz u5бо, ћкw во всeмъ дерзaю въ вaсъ. | I rejoice that in everything I am of good courage concerning you. |
