™.) Пavелъ, рaбъ б9ій, ґпcлъ же ї}съ хrт0въ, по вёрэ и3збрaнныхъ б9іихъ и3 рaзуму и4стины, ћже по бlгочcтію, Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

kви1 же во временA сво‰ сл0во своE проповёданіемъ, є4же мнЁ порyчено бhсть по повелёнію сп7си1телz нaшегw бGа: but in his own seasons manifested his word in the message, wherewith I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;

(За?.) Сегw2 рaди њстaвихъ тS въ кри1тэ, да недоконч†ннаz и3спрaвиши и3 ўстр0иши по всBмъ грaдwмъ пресвЂтеры, ћкоже тебЁ ѓзъ повелёхъ: For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that were wanting, and appoint elders in every city, as I gave thee charge;
6
6
ѓще кто2 є4сть непор0ченъ, є3ди1ныz жены2 мyжъ, ч†да и3мhй вBрна, не во ўкорeніи блудA, и3ли2 непокори6ва. if any man is blameless, the husband of one wife, having children that believe, who are not accused of riot or unruly.
7
7
Подобaетъ бо є3пjскопу без8 пор0ка бhти, ћкоже б9ію строи1телю: не себЁ ўгождaющу, (не дeрзу, не напрaсливу,) не гнэвли1ву, не піsницэ, не бjйцэ, не скверностzжaтелну, For the bishop must be blameless, as God’s steward; not self-willed, not soon angry, no brawler, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre;
8
8
но страннолюби1ву, бlголю1бцу, цэломdренну, првdну, прпdбну, воздержaтелну, but given to hospitality, a lover of good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled;
9
9
держaщемусz вёрнагw словесE по ўчeнію, да си1ленъ бyдетъ и3 ўтёшати во здрaвэмъ ўчeніи, и3 проти1вzщыzсz њбличaти. holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able both to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict the gainsayers.
10
10
Сyть бо мн0зи непокори1ви, суесл0вцы и3 ўм0мъ прельщeни, наипaче же сyщіи t њбрёзаніz, For there are many, and they are unruly, vain talkers and deceivers, especially they of the circumcision,
11
11
и4хже подобaетъ ўстA заграждaти: и5же вс‰ д0мы развращaютъ, ўчaще ћже не подобaетъ, сквeрнагw рaди прибhтка. whose mouths must be stopped; men who overthrow whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.
12
12
One of themselves, a prophet of their own, said, Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, idle gluttons.
13
13
Свидётелство сіE и4стинно є4сть: є3sже рaди вины2 њбличaй и5хъ нещaднw, да здрaви бyдутъ въ вёрэ, This testimony is true. For which cause reprove them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,
14

не внимaюще їудє1йскимъ бaснемъ, ни зaповэдемъ человBкъ tвращaющихсz t и4стины. not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.
15
15
™№.) To the pure all things are indeed pure: but to them that are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.
16
16
They profess that they know God; but by their works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

But speak thou the things which befit the sound doctrine:
2
2
стaрцємъ трeзвєннымъ бhти, чє1стнымъ, цэломdрєннымъ, здрaвствующымъ вёрою, люб0вію, терпёніемъ: that aged men be temperate, grave, sober-minded, sound in faith, in love, in patience:
3
3
стaрицамъ тaкожде во ўкрашeніи столBпнымъ, не клевети1вымъ, не вінY мн0гу порабощє1ннымъ, доброучи1тєлнымъ, that aged women likewise be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;
4
4
да ўцэломyдрzтъ ю4ныz, мужелю1бицамъ бhти, чадолю1бицамъ, that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,
5
5
цэломdрєннымъ, чи1стымъ, д0мы д0брэ прaвzщымъ, бlги6мъ, покарsющымсz свои6мъ мужє1мъ, да не сл0во б9іе хyлитсz: to be sober-minded, chaste, keepers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed:
6
6
ю4ношы тaкожде моли2 цэломyдрствовати. the younger men likewise exhort to be sober-minded:
7
7
Њ всeмъ (же) сaмъ себE подавaz w4бразъ д0брыхъ дёлъ, во ўчeніи незави1стное [цёлость], чeстность, нетлёніе, in all things showing thyself an example of good works; in thy doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, incorruptibility,
8
8
сл0во здрaвое, незаз0рное, да проти1вный посрами1тсz, ничт0же и3мёz глаг0лати њ нaсъ ўк0рно. sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of us.
9
9
Рабы6, свои6мъ господє1мъ повиновaтисz, во всeмъ благоугHднымъ бhти, не прекослHвнымъ, Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters, and to be well-pleasing to them in all things; not gainsaying;
10
10
не крадyщымъ, но вёру всsку kвлsющымъ бlгу, да ў§ніе сп7си1телz нaшегw бGа ўкрашaютъ во всeмъ. not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.
11
11
™в7.) For the saving grace of God hath appeared to all men,
12
12
наказyющи нaсъ, да tвeргшесz нечeстіz и3 мірски1хъ п0хотей, цэломdреннw и3 првdнw и3 бlгочcтнw поживeмъ въ нн7эшнемъ вёцэ, instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world;
13
13
ждyще бlжeннагw ўповaніz и3 kвлeніz слaвы вели1кагw бGа и3 сп7са нaшегw ї}са хrтA, looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ;
14
14
и4же дaлъ є4сть себE за ны2, да и3збaвитъ ны2 t всsкагw беззак0ніz и3 њчcтитъ себЁ лю1ди и3збр†нны, ревни1тєли дHбрымъ дэлHмъ. who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.
15
15
These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

1
Воспоминaй тBмъ начaлствующымъ и3 владёющымъ повиновaтисz и3 покарsтисz, и3 ко всsкому дёлу бlгу готHвымъ бhти: Put them in mind to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready unto every good work,
2
2
ни є3ди1наго хyлити, не сварли6вымъ бhти, но ти6химъ, всsку kвлsющымъ кр0тость ко всBмъ человёкwмъ. to speak evil of no man, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all meekness toward all men.
3
3
For we also once were foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving diverse lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.
4
4
Е#гдa же блгdть и3 чlвэколю1біе kви1сz сп7са нaшегw бGа, But when the kindness of God our Savior, and his love toward man, appeared,

5
не t дёлъ првdныхъ, и5хже сотвори1хомъ мы2, но по своeй є3гw2 млcти, сп7сE нaсъ бaнею пакибытіS и3 њбновлeніz д¦а с™aгw, not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
6
6
є3г0же и3зліS на нaсъ nби1лнw ї}съ хrт0мъ, сп7си1телемъ нaшимъ, which he poured out upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;
7
7
да њправди1вшесz блгdтію є3гw2, наслBдницы бyдемъ по ўповaнію жи1зни вёчныz. that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8
8
(Чaдо тjте,) вёрно сл0во, и3 њ си1хъ хощY тS и3звэщaти [ўтверди1ти], да пекyтсz дHбрымъ дэлHмъ прилэжaти вёровавшіи бGу: сі‰ сyть полє1зна человёкwмъ и3 дwбрA. Faithful is the saying, and concerning these things I desire that thou affirm confidently, to the end that they who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men:
9
9
Бyихъ же стzзaній и3 родосл0вій и3 рвeній и3 свaрwвъ зак0нныхъ tступaй: сyть бо неполє1зны и3 сyєтны. but shun foolish questionings, and genealogies, and strifes, and fightings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10
10
Е#ретікA человёка по пeрвомъ и3 вторёмъ наказaніи tрицaйсz, A factious man after a first and second admonition refuse;
11
11
вёдый, ћкw разврати1сz таковhй, и3 согрэшaетъ, и3 є4сть самоwсуждeнъ. knowing that such a one is perverted, and sinneth, being self-condemned.
12
12
When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, give diligence to come unto me to Nicopolis: for there I have determined to winter.
13
13
Set forward Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.
14
14
Да ўчaтсz же и3 нaши дHбрымъ дэлHмъ прилэжaти въ н{жнаz трeбwваніz, да не бyдутъ безпл0дни. And let our people also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
15
15
All that are with me salute thee. Salute them that love us in faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
