И҆ сотворѝ себѣ̀ до́мы во гра́дѣ даві́довѣ, и҆ оу҆гото́ва мѣ́сто кївѡ́тꙋ бж҃їю, и҆ сотворѝ є҆мꙋ̀ ски́нїю.	And David made for himself houses in the city of David, and he prepared a place for the ark of God, and made a tent for it.

Тогда̀ речѐ даві́дъ: не лѣ́ть є҆́сть, (да ѿ всѧ́кагѡ) но́ситсѧ кївѡ́тъ бж҃їй, но то́кмѡ ѿ леѵі̑тъ, поне́же и҆збра̀ и҆̀хъ гдⷭ҇ь носи́ти кївѡ́тъ гдⷭ҇ень и҆ слꙋжи́ти є҆мꙋ̀ да́же до вѣ́ка.	Then said David, It is not lawful for any to bear the ark of God, but the Levites; for the Lord has chosen them to bear the ark of the Lord, and to minister to him for ever.

И҆ собра̀ даві́дъ ве́сь і҆и҃ль во і҆ерⷭ҇ли́мъ, да внесе́тсѧ кївѡ́тъ бж҃їй на мѣ́сто, є҆́же оу҆гото́ва є҆мꙋ̀.	And David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the Lord to the place which he had prepared for it.

И҆ собра̀ даві́дъ сынѡ́въ а҆арѡ́новыхъ и҆ леѵі́ты:	And David gathered together the sons of Aaron the Levites.
5	5
ѿ сынѡ́въ каа́ѳовыхъ оу҆рїи́лъ нача́лникъ и҆ бра́тїѧ є҆гѡ̀, сто̀ два́десѧть:	Of the sons of Caath; there was Uriel the chief, and his brethren, a hundred and twenty.
6	6
ѿ сынѡ́въ мера́рїныхъ а҆саі́а нача́лникъ и҆ бра́тїѧ є҆гѡ̀, двѣ́сти пѧтьдесѧ́тъ:	Of the sons of Merari; Asaia the chief, and his brethren, two hundred and twenty.
7	7
ѿ сынѡ́въ герсѡ́нихъ і҆ѡи́ль нача́лникъ и҆ бра́тїѧ є҆гѡ̀, сто̀ три́десѧть:	Of the sons of Gedson; Joel the chief, and his brethren, a hundred and thirty.
8	8
ѿ сынѡ́въ є҆лїсафа́нихъ семеі́а нача́лникъ и҆ бра́тїѧ є҆гѡ̀, двѣ́сти:	Of the sons of Elisaphat; Semei the chief, and his brethren, two hundred.

ѿ сынѡ́въ хеврѡ́новыхъ є҆лїи́лъ нача́лникъ и҆ бра́тїѧ є҆гѡ̀, ѻ҆́смьдесѧтъ:	Of the sons of Chebrom; Eliel the chief, and his brethren eighty.
10	10
ѿ сынѡ́въ ѻ҆зїи́левыхъ а҆мїнада́въ нача́лникъ и҆ бра́тїѧ є҆гѡ̀, сто̀ двана́десѧть.	Of the sons of Oziel; Aminadab the chief, and his brethren a hundred and twelve.
11	11
И҆ призва̀ даві́дъ садѡ́ка и҆ а҆вїаѳа́ра свѧще́нники, и҆ леѵі́ты оу҆рїи́ла, а҆саі́а и҆ і҆ѡи́лѧ, и҆ семеїа́на и҆ є҆лїи́ла и҆ а҆мїнада́ва,	And David called Sadoc and Abiathar the priests, and the Levites, Uriel, Asaia, and Joel, and Semaia, and Eliel, and Aminadab,

и҆ речѐ къ ни̑мъ: вы̀, нача̑лницы ѻ҆те́чествъ леѵі́тскихъ, ѡ҆свѧти́тесѧ вы̀ и҆ бра́тїѧ ва̑ша, и҆ принеси́те кївѡ́тъ гдⷭ҇а бг҃а і҆и҃лева (на мѣ́сто), и҆дѣ́же оу҆гото́вахъ є҆мꙋ̀:	and said to them, Ye are the heads of the families of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, you and your brethren, and ye shall carry up the ark of the God of Israel, to the place which I have prepared for it.

ꙗ҆́кѡ пре́жде ва́мъ не готѡ́вымъ сꙋ́щымъ, раздѣлѝ гдⷭ҇ь бг҃ъ на́шъ въ на́съ, ꙗ҆́кѡ не взыска́хомъ є҆гѡ̀ по разсꙋжде́нїю.	For because ye were not ready at the first, our God made a breach upon us, because we sought him not according to the ordinance.
14	14
И҆ ѡ҆свѧти́шасѧ свѧще́нницы и҆ леѵі́ти, да внесꙋ́тъ кївѡ́тъ гдⷭ҇а бг҃а і҆и҃лева.	So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves, to bring up the ark of the God of Israel.
15	15
И҆ взѧ́ша сы́нове леѵі́тстїи кївѡ́тъ бж҃їй, ꙗ҆́коже повелѣ̀ мѡѷсе́й сло́вомъ бж҃їимъ по писа́нїю, ра́мены свои́ми на носи́лѣхъ.	And the sons of the Levites took the ark of God, (as Moses commanded by the word of God according to the scripture) upon their shoulders with staves.
16	16
И҆ речѐ даві́дъ нача́лникѡмъ леѵі̑тскимъ: поста́вите бра́тїю свою̀ пѣвцє́въ во ѻ҆рга́нѣхъ, пѣ́снехъ мꙋсїкі́йскихъ, ѱалти́рехъ, въ гꙋ́слехъ и҆ кѷмва́лѣхъ, да возгласѧ́тъ въ высотꙋ̀ гла́сомъ весе́лїѧ.	And David said to the chiefs of the Levites, Set your brethren the singers with musical instruments, lutes, harps, and cymbals, to sound aloud with a voice of joy.
17	17
И҆ поста́виша леѵі́ти є҆ма́на сы́на і҆ѡи́лева: и҆ ѿ бра́тїй є҆гѡ̀ а҆са́фа сы́на варахі́ина: и҆ ѿ сынѡ́въ мера́рїныхъ, бра́тїй є҆гѡ̀, є҆ѳа́на сы́на кїсе́ова:	So the Levites appointed Æman the son of Joel; Asaph the son of Barachias was one of his brethren; and Æthan the son of Kisæus was of the sons of Merari their brethren;

и҆ съ ни́ми бра́тїѧ и҆́хъ, вторі́и (чи́номъ), заха́рїа и҆ ѻ҆зїи́лъ, и҆ семїрамѡ́ѳъ и҆ і҆еїи́лъ, и҆ а҆на́нїй и҆ є҆лїа́въ, и҆ ване́а и҆ маасі́а, и҆ маттаѳі́а и҆ є҆лїфала̀, и҆ макені́а и҆ а҆вдедо́мъ, и҆ і҆еїи́лъ и҆ ѻ҆зі́а, двє́рницы.	and with them their brethren of the second rank, Zacharias, and Oziel, and Semiramoth, and Jeiel, and Elioel, and Eliab, and Banaia, and Maasaia, and Matthathia, and Eliphena, and Makellia, and Abdedom, and Jeiel, and Ozias, the porters.

И҆ пѣвцы̀ є҆ма́нъ, а҆са́фъ и҆ є҆ѳа́мъ въ кѷмва́лы мѣ̑дѧны (возглаша́юще) въ слы́шанїе:	And the singers, Æman, Asaph, and Æthan, with brazen cymbals to make a sound to be heard.
20	20
заха́рїа же и҆ ѻ҆зїи́лъ, и҆ семїрамѡ́ѳъ и҆ і҆еїи́лъ, и҆ а҆нані́й и҆ є҆лїа́въ, и҆ маасі́а и҆ ване́а со гꙋ́сльми та̑йны поѧ́хꙋ:	Zacharias, and Oziel, Semiramoth, Jeiel, Oni, Eliab, Maasæas, Banæas, with lutes, on alæmoth.
21	21
и҆ маттаѳі́а и҆ є҆лїфала̀, и҆ макені́а и҆ а҆вдедо́мъ, и҆ і҆еїи́лъ и҆ ѻ҆зі́а въ кѷмва́лѣхъ поѧ́хꙋ, є҆́же превзы́ти:	And Mattathias, and Eliphalu, and Makenia, and Abdedom, and Jeiel, and Ozias, with harps of Amasenith, to make a loud noise.
22	22
и҆ хѡнені́а нача́лникъ леѵі́тскїй, нача́лникъ пѣ́нїй, занѐ разꙋ́менъ бѣ̀:	And Chonenia chief of the Levites was master of the bands, because he was skilful.
23	23
и҆ варахі́а и҆ є҆лка́на двє́рницы кївѡ́та:	And Barachia and Elcana were door-keepers of the ark.
24	24
и҆ сѡвені́а и҆ і҆ѡсафа́тъ, и҆ наѳана́илъ и҆ а҆масі́а, и҆ заха́рїа и҆ вана́й и҆ є҆лїезе́ръ свѧще́нницы трꙋбѧ́щїи трꙋба́ми пред̾ кївѡ́томъ бж҃їимъ: и҆ а҆вдедо́мъ и҆ і҆еі́а двє́рницы кївѡ́та бж҃їѧ.	And Somnia, and Josaphat, and Nathanael, and Amasai, and Zacharia, and Banæa, and Eliezer, the priests, were sounding with trumpets before the ark of God: and Abdedom and Jeia were door-keepers of the ark of God.
25	25
И҆ бѣ̀ даві́дъ и҆ старѣ̑йшины і҆и҃лєвы и҆ ты́сѧщницы и҆дꙋ́щїи, є҆́же и҆знестѝ кївѡ́тъ завѣ́та гдⷭ҇нѧ и҆з̾ до́мꙋ а҆вдедо́млѧ съ весе́лїемъ.	So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains of thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant from the house of Abdedom with gladness.
26	26
И҆ бы́сть є҆гда̀ оу҆крѣплѧ́ше бг҃ъ леѵі́ты носѧ́щыѧ кївѡ́тъ завѣ́та гдⷭ҇нѧ, и҆ пожро́ша се́дмь телцє́въ и҆ се́дмь ѻ҆внѡ́въ:	And it came to pass when God strengthened the Levites bearing the ark of the covenant of the Lord, that they sacrificed seven calves and seven rams.
27	27
даві́дъ же бѧ́ше ѡ҆дѣ́ѧнъ ри́зою вѷссо́нною, и҆ всѝ леѵі́ти, носѧ́щїи кївѡ́тъ завѣ́та гдⷭ҇нѧ, пѣвцы́ же и҆ хѡнені́а нача́лникъ пѣ́сней пою́щихъ, на даві́дѣ же бѣ̀ є҆фꙋ́дъ вѷссо́нный.	And David was girt with a fine linen robe, and all the Levites who were bearing the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and the singers, and Chonenias the master of the band of singers; also upon David there was a robe of fine linen.

И҆ ве́сь і҆и҃ль провожда́ше кївѡ́тъ завѣ́та гдⷭ҇нѧ съ восклица́нїемъ и҆ гла́сомъ трꙋ́бнымъ, и҆ съ трꙋба́ми и҆ кѷмва̑лы, глаша́юще въ гꙋ́сли и҆ кїѳа̑ры.	And all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of a horn, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, playing loudly on lutes and harps.
29	29
И҆ бы́сть є҆гда̀ прїи́де кївѡ́тъ завѣ́та гдⷭ҇нѧ да́же до гра́да даві́дова, и҆ мелхо́ла дщѝ саꙋ́лѧ смотрѧ́ше во ѻ҆кно̀, и҆ ви́дѣ царѧ̀ даві́да ска́чꙋща и҆ и҆гра́юща и҆ оу҆ничижѝ є҆го̀ въ се́рдцы свое́мъ.	And the ark of the covenant of the Lord arrived, and came to the city of David; and Melchol the daughter of Saul looked down through the window, and saw king David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart.
