| Воззрѣ́въ же і҆а́кѡвъ ѻ҆чи́ма свои́ма, ви́дѣ: и҆ сѐ, и҆са́ѵъ бра́тъ є҆гѡ̀ и҆ды́й, и҆ четы́риста мꙋже́й съ ни́мъ. И҆ раздѣлѝ і҆а́кѡвъ дѣ́ти лі́и и҆ рахи́ли и҆ двꙋ́мъ рабы́нѧмъ, | And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and beheld, and lo! Esau his brother coming, and four hundred men with him; and Jacob divided the children to Lea and to Rachel, and the two handmaidens. |

| и҆ поста́ви ѻ҆́бѣ рабы̑ни и҆ сы́ны и҆́хъ въ пе́рвыхъ, лі́ю же и҆ дѣ́ти є҆ѧ̀ позадѝ, а҆ рахи́ль и҆ і҆ѡ́сифа въ послѣ́днихъ: | And he put the two handmaidens and their children with the first, and Lea and her children behind, and Rachel and Joseph last. |

| са́мъ же и҆зы́де пе́рвѣе пред̾ ни́ми и҆ поклони́сѧ до землѝ седми́жды, до́ндеже прибли́жисѧ къ бра́тꙋ своемꙋ̀. | But he advanced himself before them, and did reverence to the ground seven times, until he drew near to his brother. |

| И҆ притечѐ и҆са́ѵъ во срѣ́тенїе є҆мꙋ̀: и҆ ѡ҆б̾е́мь є҆го̀, припадѐ на вы́ю є҆гѡ̀ и҆ ѡ҆блобыза̀ є҆го̀: и҆ пла́кастасѧ ѻ҆́ба. | And Esau ran on to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him; and they both wept. |

| И҆ воззрѣ́въ и҆са́ѵъ, ви́дѣ жєны̀ и҆ дѣ́ти и҆ речѐ: что̀ сі́и тебѣ̀ сꙋ́ть; Ѻ҆́нъ же речѐ: дѣ́ти, и҆́миже поми́лова бг҃ъ раба̀ твоего̀. | And Esau looked up and saw the women and the children, and said, What are these to thee? And he said, The children with which God has mercifully blessed thy servant. |

| И҆ пристꙋпи́ша рабы̑ни и҆ дѣ́ти и҆́хъ и҆ поклони́шасѧ: | And the maid-servants and their children drew near and did reverence. |

|
| и҆ пристꙋпѝ лі́а и҆ дѣ́ти є҆ѧ̀ и҆ поклони́шасѧ: посе́мъ же пристꙋпѝ рахи́ль и҆ і҆ѡ́сифъ и҆ поклони́стасѧ. | And Lea and her children drew near and did reverence; and after this drew near Rachel and Joseph, and did reverence. |

| И҆ речѐ: что̀ сїѧ̑ тебѣ̀ сꙋ́ть, полцы̀ сі́и всѝ, ꙗ҆̀же срѣто́хъ; Ѻ҆́нъ же речѐ: да ѡ҆брѧ́щетъ ра́бъ тво́й благода́ть пред̾ тобо́ю, господи́не. | And he said, What are these things to thee, all these companies that I have met? And he said, That thy servant might find grace in thy sight, my lord. |

| Рече́ же и҆са́ѵъ: сꙋ́ть мнѣ̀ мнѡ́га, бра́те: да бꙋ́дꙋтъ тебѣ̀ твоѧ̑. | And Esau said, I have much, my brother; keep thine own. |

|
| И҆ речѐ і҆а́кѡвъ: а҆́ще ѡ҆брѣто́хъ благода́ть пред̾ тобо́ю, прїимѝ да́ры ѿ рꙋкꙋ̀ моє́ю: сегѡ̀ ра́ди ви́дѣхъ лицѐ твоѐ, ꙗ҆́кѡ бы а҆́ще кто̀ ви́дѣлъ лицѐ бж҃їе: и҆ возблаговоли́ши ѡ҆ мнѣ̀: | And Jacob said, If I have found grace in thy sight, receive the gifts through my hands; therefore have I seen thy face, as if any one should see the face of God, and thou shalt be well-pleased with me. |

| прїимѝ благослове́нїе моѐ, є҆́же принесо́хъ тебѣ̀, ꙗ҆́кѡ поми́лова мѧ̀ бг҃ъ, и҆ сꙋ́ть мѝ всѧ̑. И҆ принꙋ́ди є҆го̀, и҆ взѧ̀. | Receive my blessings, which I have brought thee, because God has had mercy on me, and I have all things; and he constrained him, and he took them. |
|

| И҆ речѐ: воста́вше по́йдемъ прѧ́мѡ. | And he said, Let us depart, and proceed right onward. |
|

| Рече́ же є҆мꙋ̀: господи́нъ мо́й вѣ́сть, ꙗ҆́кѡ дѣ́ти моѝ ю҆́ны, ѻ҆́вцы же и҆ говѧ̑да бре́мєнны оу҆ менє̀: а҆́ще оу҆̀бо поженꙋ̀ ѧ҆̀ є҆ди́нъ де́нь, и҆́змретъ ве́сь ско́тъ: | And he said to him, My lord knows, that the children are very tender, and the flocks and the herds with me are with young; if then I shall drive them hard one day, all the cattle will die. |

| да пред̾и́детъ господи́нъ мо́й пред̾ рабо́мъ свои́мъ: а҆́зъ же оу҆крѣплю́сѧ на пꙋтѝ оу҆медле́нїемъ ше́ствїѧ моегѡ̀, є҆́же предо мно́ю, и҆ ꙗ҆́коже возмо́гꙋтъ и҆тѝ дѣ́ти, до́ндеже прїидꙋ̀ къ господи́нꙋ моемꙋ̀ въ сиі́ръ. | Let my lord go on before his servant, and I shall have strength on the road according to the ease of the journey before me, and according to the strength of the children, until I come to my lord to Seir. |

| И҆ речѐ и҆са́ѵъ: ѡ҆ста́влю съ тобо́ю ѿ люді́й сꙋ́щихъ со мно́ю. Ѻ҆́нъ же речѐ: вскꙋ́ю сїѐ; довлѣ́етъ, ꙗ҆́кѡ ѡ҆брѣто́хъ благода́ть пред̾ тобо́ю, господи́не. | And Esau said, I will leave with thee some of the people who are with me. And he said, Why so? it is enough that I have found favour before thee, my lord. |

| Возврати́сѧ же и҆са́ѵъ въ то́мъ днѝ пꙋте́мъ свои́мъ въ сиі́ръ: | And Esau returned on that day on his journey to Seir. |

| и҆ і҆а́кѡвъ по́йде въ кꙋ́щы, и҆ поста́ви себѣ̀ та́мѡ хра̑мины, и҆ скотꙋ̀ своемꙋ̀ сотворѝ кꙋ́щы: сегѡ̀ ра́ди наречѐ и҆́мѧ мѣ́стꙋ томꙋ̀ кꙋ́щы. | And Jacob departs to his tents; and he made for himself there habitations, and for his cattle he made booths; therefore he called the name of that place, Booths. |

| И҆ прїи́де і҆а́кѡвъ въ сали́мъ гра́дъ сїкі́мскъ, и҆́же є҆́сть въ землѝ ханаа́нстѣй, є҆гда̀ прїи́де ѿ месопота́мїи сѵ́рскїѧ, и҆ ста̀ пред̾ лице́мъ гра́да: | And Jacob came to Salem, a city of Secima, which is in the land of Chanaan, when he departed out of Mesopotamia of Syria, and took up a position in front of the city. |

|
| и҆ кꙋпѝ ча́сть села̀, и҆дѣ́же поста́ви кꙋ́щꙋ свою̀ та́мѡ, оу҆ є҆ммѡ́ра ѻ҆тца̀ сѷхе́млѧ, стома̀ а҆́гнцы: | And he bought the portion of the field, where he pitched his tent, of Emmor the father of Sychem, for a hundred lambs. |

|
| и҆ поста́ви та́мѡ же́ртвенникъ, и҆ призва̀ бг҃а і҆и҃лева. | And he set up there an altar, and called on the God of Israel. |
