И҆ ѿтꙋ́дꙋ воста́въ пре́йде въ предѣ́лы і҆ꙋдє́йскїѧ, [чрез̾ странꙋ̀, ꙗ҆́же] ѡ҆б̾ ѡ҆́нъ по́лъ і҆ѻрда́на. И҆ снидо́шасѧ па́ки наро́ди къ немꙋ̀: и҆ ꙗ҆́кѡ ѡ҆бы́чай и҆мѣ̀, па́ки оу҆ча́ше и҆̀хъ.	And he arose from thence, and cometh into the borders of Judea by the other side of the Jordan: and multitudes come together unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.

(Заⷱ҇ м҃г҃.) И҆ пристꙋ́пльше фарїсе́є вопроси́ша є҆го̀: а҆́ще досто́итъ мꙋ́жꙋ женꙋ̀ пꙋсти́ти; и҆скꙋша́юще є҆го̀.	And there came unto him Pharisees, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? trying him.

Ѻ҆́нъ же ѿвѣща́въ речѐ и҆̀мъ: что̀ ва́мъ заповѣ́да мѡѷсе́й;	And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?

Ѻ҆ни́ же рѣ́ша: мѡѷсе́й повелѣ̀ кни́гꙋ распꙋ́стнꙋю написа́ти, и҆ пꙋсти́ти.	And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.
5	5
И҆ ѿвѣща́въ і҆и҃съ речѐ и҆̀мъ: по жестосе́рдїю ва́шемꙋ написа̀ ва́мъ за́повѣдь сїю̀:	And Jesus answered and said unto them, For your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment.
6	6
ѿ нача́ла же созда́нїѧ, мꙋ́жа и҆ женꙋ̀ сотвори́лъ ѧ҆̀ є҆́сть бг҃ъ:	But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.
7	7
сегѡ̀ ра́ди ѡ҆ста́витъ человѣ́къ ѻ҆тца̀ своего̀ и҆ ма́терь	For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife;
8	8
и҆ прилѣпи́тсѧ къ женѣ̀ свое́й, и҆ бꙋ́дета ѻ҆́ба въ пло́ть є҆ди́нꙋ: тѣ́мже оу҆жѐ нѣ́ста два̀, но пло́ть є҆ди́на:	and the two shall become one flesh: so that they are no more two, but one flesh.

є҆́же оу҆̀бо бг҃ъ сочета̀, человѣ́къ да не разлꙋча́етъ.	What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
10	10
И҆ въ домꙋ̀ па́ки оу҆чн҃цы̀ є҆гѡ̀ ѡ҆ се́мъ вопроси́ша є҆го̀.	And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.
11	11
И҆ гл҃а и҆̀мъ: (Заⷱ҇ м҃д҃.) и҆́же а҆́ще пꙋ́ститъ женꙋ̀ свою̀ и҆ ѡ҆же́нитсѧ и҆но́ю, прелюбы̀ твори́тъ на ню̀:	And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her:
12	12
и҆ а҆́ще жена̀ пꙋ́ститъ мꙋ́жа [мꙋ́жа своего̀] и҆ посѧ́гнетъ за и҆но́го, прелюбы̀ твори́тъ.	and if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
13	13
И҆ приноша́хꙋ къ немꙋ̀ дѣ́ти, да ко́снетсѧ и҆́хъ: оу҆чн҃цы́ же преща́хꙋ приносѧ́щымъ.	And they were bringing unto him little children, that he should touch them: and the disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14	14
Ви́дѣвъ же і҆и҃съ негодова̀ и҆ речѐ и҆̀мъ: ѡ҆ста́вите дѣте́й приходи́ти ко мнѣ̀ и҆ не брани́те и҆̀мъ, тацѣ́хъ бо є҆́сть црⷭ҇твїе бж҃їе:	But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me; forbid them not: for to such belongeth the kingdom of God.
15	15
а҆ми́нь гл҃ю ва́мъ: и҆́же а҆́ще не прїи́метъ црⷭ҇твїѧ бж҃їѧ ꙗ҆́кѡ ѻ҆троча̀, не и҆́мать вни́ти въ нѐ.	Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no wise enter therein.
16	16
И҆ ѡ҆б̾е́мь и҆̀хъ, возло́жь рꙋ́цѣ на ни́хъ, блгⷭ҇влѧ́ше и҆̀хъ.	And he took them in his arms, laid his hands upon them, and blessed them.
17	17
(Заⷱ҇ м҃е҃.) И҆ и҆сходѧ́щꙋ є҆мꙋ̀ на пꙋ́ть, прите́къ нѣ́кїй и҆ покло́ньсѧ на колѣ̑нꙋ є҆мꙋ̀, вопроша́ше є҆го̀: оу҆чт҃лю бл҃гі́й, что̀ сотворю̀, да живо́тъ вѣ́чный наслѣ́дствꙋю;	And as he was going forth into the way, there ran one to him, and knelt to him, and asked him, Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
18	18
І҆и҃съ же речѐ є҆мꙋ̀: что̀ мѧ̀ глаго́леши бл҃га; никто́же бл҃гъ, то́кмѡ є҆ди́нъ бг҃ъ.	And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good save one, even God.
19	19
За́пѡвѣди вѣ́си: не прелюбы̀ сотвори́ши: не оу҆бі́й: не оу҆кра́ди: не лжесвидѣ́телствꙋй: не ѡ҆би́ди: чтѝ ѻ҆тца̀ твоего̀ и҆ ма́терь.	Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor thy father and mother.
20	20
Ѻ҆́нъ же ѿвѣща́въ речѐ є҆мꙋ̀: оу҆чт҃лю, сїѧ̑ всѧ̑ сохрани́хъ ѿ ю҆́ности моеѧ̀.	And he answered and said unto him, Teacher, all these things have I observed from my youth.
21	21
І҆и҃съ же воззрѣ́въ на́нь, возлюбѝ є҆го̀ и҆ речѐ є҆мꙋ̀: є҆ди́нагѡ є҆сѝ не доконча́лъ: и҆дѝ, є҆ли̑ка и҆́маши, прода́ждь и҆ да́ждь ни́щымъ, и҆ и҆мѣ́ти и҆́маши сокро́вище на нб҃сѝ: и҆ прїидѝ (и҆) ходѝ в̾слѣ́дъ менє̀, взе́мъ кре́стъ.	And Jesus looking upon him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me, taking up the cross.
22	22
Ѻ҆́нъ же дрѧ́хлъ бы́въ ѡ҆ словесѝ [ѡ҆ словесѝ се́мъ], ѿи́де скорбѧ̀: бѣ́ бо и҆мѣ́ѧ стѧжа̑нїѧ мнѡ́га.	But his countenance fell at the saying, and he went away sorrowful: for he was one that had great possessions.
23	23
И҆ воззрѣ́въ і҆и҃съ гл҃а оу҆чн҃кѡ́мъ свои̑мъ: (Заⷱ҇ м҃ѕ҃.) ка́кѡ неꙋдо́бь и҆мꙋ́щїи бога́тство въ црⷭ҇твїе бж҃їе вни́дꙋтъ.	And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
24	24
Оу҆чн҃цы́ же оу҆жаса́хꙋсѧ ѡ҆ словесѣ́хъ є҆гѡ̀. І҆и҃съ же па́ки ѿвѣща́въ гл҃а и҆̀мъ: ча̑да, ка́кѡ неꙋдо́бь оу҆пова́ющымъ на бога́тство въ црⷭ҇твїе бж҃їе вни́ти:	And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
25	25
оу҆до́бѣе бо є҆́сть велбꙋ́дꙋ сквозѣ̀ и҆глинѣ̑ оу҆́шы проитѝ, не́же бога́тꙋ въ црⷭ҇твїе бж҃їе вни́ти.	It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26	26
Ѻ҆ни́ же и҆́злиха дивлѧ́хꙋсѧ, глаго́люще къ себѣ̀: то̀ кто̀ мо́жетъ спасе́нъ бы́ти;	And they were astonished exceedingly, saying among themselves, Then who can be saved?
27	27
Воззрѣ́въ же на ни́хъ і҆и҃съ гл҃а: оу҆ человѣ̑къ невозмо́жно, но не оу҆ бг҃а: всѧ̑ бо возмѡ́жна сꙋ́ть оу҆ бг҃а.	And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for all things are possible with God.
28	28
Нача́тъ же пе́тръ глаго́лати є҆мꙋ̀: сѐ, мы̀ ѡ҆ста́вихомъ всѧ̑ и҆ в̾слѣ́дъ тебє̀ и҆до́хомъ.	Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
29	29
Ѿвѣща́въ же і҆и҃съ речѐ: а҆ми́нь гл҃ю ва́мъ: никто́же є҆́сть, и҆́же ѡ҆ста́вилъ є҆́сть до́мъ, и҆лѝ бра́тїю, и҆лѝ сєстры̀, и҆лѝ ѻ҆тца̀, и҆лѝ ма́терь, и҆лѝ женꙋ̀, и҆лѝ ча̑да, и҆лѝ се́ла, менє̀ ра́ди и҆ є҆ѵⷢ҇лїа ра́ди:	Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and for the gospel’s sake,
30	30
а҆́ще не прїи́метъ стори́цею нн҃ѣ во вре́мѧ сїѐ, домѡ́въ, и҆ бра́тїй, и҆ се́стръ, и҆ ѻ҆тца̀, и҆ ма́тере, и҆ ча̑дъ, и҆ се́лъ, во и҆згна́нїи, и҆ въ вѣ́къ грѧдꙋ́щїй живо́тъ вѣ́чный:	but he shall receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
31	31
мно́зи же бꙋ́дꙋтъ пе́рвїи послѣ́дни, и҆ послѣ́днїи пе́рви.	But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
32	32
Бѧ́хꙋ же на пꙋтѝ, восходѧ́ще во і҆ерⷭ҇ли́мъ: и҆ бѣ̀ варѧ́ѧ и҆̀хъ і҆и҃съ, и҆ оу҆жаса́хꙋсѧ, и҆ в̾слѣ́дъ и҆дꙋ́ще, боѧ́хꙋсѧ. (Заⷱ҇ м҃з҃.) И҆ пое́мь па́ки ѻ҆бана́десѧть, нача́тъ и҆̀мъ гл҃ати, ꙗ҆̀же хотѧ́хꙋ є҆мꙋ̀ бы́ти:	And they were on the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was going before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them the things that were to happen unto him,

ꙗ҆́кѡ, сѐ, восхо́димъ во і҆ерⷭ҇ли́мъ, и҆ сн҃ъ чл҃вѣ́ческїй пре́данъ бꙋ́детъ а҆рхїере́ѡмъ и҆ кни́жникѡмъ, и҆ ѡ҆сꙋ́дѧтъ є҆го̀ на сме́рть, и҆ предадѧ́тъ є҆го̀ ꙗ҆зы́кѡмъ:	saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests and scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him unto the Gentiles:

и҆ порꙋга́ютсѧ є҆мꙋ̀, и҆ оу҆ѧ́звѧтъ є҆го̀, и҆ ѡ҆плю́ютъ є҆го̀, и҆ оу҆бїю́тъ є҆го̀: и҆ въ тре́тїй де́нь воскрⷭ҇нетъ.	and they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him; and the third day he shall rise again.
35	35
И҆ пред̾ него̀ прїидо́ста і҆а́кѡвъ и҆ і҆ѡа́ннъ, сы̑на зеведе́єва, глагѡ́люща: оу҆чт҃лю, хо́щева, да, є҆́же а҆́ще про́сива, сотвори́ши на́ма.	And there come near unto him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying, Teacher, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall ask.
36	36
Ѻ҆́нъ же речѐ и҆́ма: что̀ хо́щета, да сотворю̀ ва́ма;	And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?
37	37
Ѡ҆́на же рѣ́ста є҆мꙋ̀: да́ждь на́мъ, да є҆ди́нъ ѡ҆ деснꙋ́ю тебє̀ и҆ є҆ди́нъ ѡ҆ шꙋ́юю тебє̀ сѧ́дева во сла́вѣ твое́й.	And they said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left hand, in thy glory.
38	38
І҆и҃съ же речѐ и҆́ма: не вѣ́ста, чесѡ̀ про́сита: мо́жета ли пи́ти ча́шꙋ, ю҆́же а҆́зъ пїю̀, и҆ кр҃ще́нїемъ, и҆́мже а҆́зъ кр҃ща́юсѧ, крⷭ҇ти́тисѧ;	But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup that I drink? and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?

Ѡ҆́на же рѣ́ста є҆мꙋ̀: мо́жева. І҆и҃съ же речѐ и҆́ма: ча́шꙋ оу҆́бѡ, ю҆́же а҆́зъ пїю̀, и҆спїе́та, и҆ кр҃ще́нїемъ, и҆́мже а҆́зъ кр҃ща́юсѧ, крⷭ҇ти́тасѧ:	And they said unto him, We are able. And Jesus said unto them, The cup that I drink indeed ye shall drink; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:
40	40
а҆ є҆́же сѣ́сти ѡ҆ деснꙋ́ю менє̀ и҆ ѡ҆ шꙋ́юю, нѣ́сть мнѣ̀ да́ти, но и҆̀мже оу҆гото́вано є҆́сть.	but to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it is for them for whom it hath been prepared.
41	41
И҆ слы́шавше де́сѧть, нача́ша негодова́ти ѡ҆ і҆а́кѡвѣ и҆ і҆ѡа́ннѣ.	And when the ten heard it, they began to be moved with indignation concerning James and John.
42	42
І҆и҃съ же призва́въ и҆̀хъ, гл҃а и҆̀мъ: вѣ́сте, ꙗ҆́кѡ мнѧ́щїисѧ владѣ́ти ꙗ҆зы̑ки, соѡдолѣва́ютъ и҆̀мъ, и҆ вели́цыи и҆́хъ ѡ҆блада́ютъ и҆́ми:	But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they who are accounted to rule over the Gentiles lord it over them; and their great ones exercise authority over them.
43	43
не та́кѡ же бꙋ́детъ въ ва́съ: но и҆́же а҆́ще хо́щетъ въ ва́съ вѧ́щшїй бы́ти, да бꙋ́детъ ва́мъ слꙋга̀:	But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever would become great among you, shall be your minister;

и҆ и҆́же а҆́ще хо́щетъ въ ва́съ бы́ти ста́рѣй, да бꙋ́детъ всѣ̑мъ ра́бъ:	and whosoever would become first among you, shall be servant of all.
45	45
и҆́бо сн҃ъ чл҃вѣ́чь не прїи́де, да послꙋ́жатъ є҆мꙋ̀, но да послꙋ́житъ и҆ да́стъ дꙋ́шꙋ свою̀ и҆збавле́нїе за мнѡ́ги.	For the Son of man also came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
46	46
(Заⷱ҇ м҃и҃.) И҆ прїидо́ша во і҆ерїхѡ́нъ. И҆ и҆сходѧ́щꙋ є҆мꙋ̀ ѿ і҆ерїхѡ́на, и҆ оу҆чн҃кѡ́мъ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ наро́дꙋ мно́гꙋ, сы́нъ тїме́овъ варті́мей слѣпы́й сѣдѧ́ше при пꙋтѝ, просѧ̀.	And they come to Jericho: and as he went out from Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, a son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus the blind man, was sitting by the wayside begging.

И҆ слы́шавъ, ꙗ҆́кѡ і҆и҃съ назѡрѧни́нъ є҆́сть, нача́тъ зва́ти и҆ глаго́лати: сн҃е дв҃довъ і҆и҃се, поми́лꙋй мѧ̀.	And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Son of David, Jesus, have mercy on me.
48	48
И҆ преща́хꙋ є҆мꙋ̀ мно́зи, да оу҆молчи́тъ: ѻ҆́нъ же мно́жае па́че зва́ше: сн҃е дв҃довъ, поми́лꙋй мѧ̀.	And many rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried out the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.

И҆ ста́въ і҆и҃съ, речѐ є҆го̀ возгласи́ти. И҆ возгласи́ша слѣпца̀, глаго́люще є҆мꙋ̀: дерза́й, воста́ни, зове́тъ тѧ̀.	And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good cheer: rise, he calleth thee.

Ѻ҆́нъ же ѿве́ргъ ри̑зы своѧ̑, воста́въ прїи́де ко і҆и҃сови.	And he, casting away his garment, rose up, and came to Jesus.
51	51
И҆ ѿвѣща́въ гл҃а є҆мꙋ̀ і҆и҃съ: что̀ хо́щеши, да сотворю̀ тебѣ̀; Слѣпы́й же глаго́ла є҆мꙋ̀: оу҆чт҃лю, да прозрю̀.	And Jesus answereth, and saith unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? And the blind man said unto him, Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.

І҆и҃съ же речѐ є҆мꙋ̀: и҆дѝ: вѣ́ра твоѧ̀ сп҃се́ тѧ. И҆ а҆́бїе прозрѣ̀ и҆ по і҆и҃сѣ и҆́де въ пꙋ́ть.	And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And straightaway he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
